Newly opened, zambian owned, Fresh view cinema at Manda Hill , is the first and only cinema in zambia where people can experience watching 3D movies . Zambians can watch the latest movies immediately they are released ,in the format in which they are released . Kids are in for a treat this holiday season with movies such as “Puss in Boots” “Arther Christmas” and “Alvin and the chipmunks 3” all in 3D.
Fresh View cinema will not only have 3D movies ,normal movies will be there, they will also be show casing Zambian Movies which is very good for the movie industry.
It has six cinemas with a total sitting capacity of 939. These include VIP seats, which are designed for two people .
Hopefully the competition with Ster Kinekor cinema at Arcades shopping mall , will see a reducing in ticket prices.
Ticket Prices are as follows:
weekdays
normal – K 15 000
VIP- K 25 000
3D – k 25 000
weekends
normal – k 30 000
3D – K 40 000
VIP- K 40 000

So to watch a movie at the cinema if you are on the C/B or any other part of zed, you have to travel to lusaka….buti kwena!
Where, in the article, does it say that?
It has to start from somewhere naimwe ba Jay. Tuletasha, why do people criticize for no reason.
its good that it is zambian owned , we need more local investors . cant always wait for other people to develop our country.
Decided to take my wife for a movie yesterday and barely 10 minutes in the movie- mission -mpossible- the lights went off. We stayed in the dark for about 15 minutes then we heard a diesel generator makin noise. it took another 5 minutes for the movie start. No apologies from Management. No one showed up to explain what was happenin!!
Blame it on load-shedding and ZESCO!! kekeke
development my ass….only in lusaka and you burst out to say development….*****s..
Commendable development. Let’s hope they are already working on extending to the C/B and Livingstone and later to other urban centres. Cinemas provide a refreshing relaxation away from vices such as excessive alcohol consumption, etc.
At Freshview, VIP ticket holders can watch a movie while sipping alcohol!
@ no# 1. Jay ahahaha. Wani sekesa. Ati Bati kwena.
#1, ala fwebena CB nomba twabafye kwait niku mushi, nako ku mpolokoso nangula shangombo!! Bwafya sana……
zambian filmmakers should take advantage of this. zollywood.
SMILED!!!!!!!!! at Zambia. Owned.
Smiled when I read Zambian owned :)
You should see what remains of the Cinema at Lubambe Centre in Kitwe you cant go with your woman especially if she is putting on a skirt or a dress there is everything going in and out not to mention whats biting. You can hardly watch a movie it seems like cats and mice have also made an alliance and are marrying each other off as traditional cousins so its total conjestion
lol…crazy ha!
I totally disagree with that, Lubambe centre cinema has been closed for over 5yrs now so where on earth did those thins happen??? Anyhow I will promise u one thing am gonna make a face lift of lubambe centre cinema entertaiment will be back in kitwe, wit lots of good movies abena kopala to enjoy.. Glo KB
@’Patanacio hahahaha cats and mice marrying each other.
how much is it for a movie? i hope its affordable
i admire the initiative. it is private entrepreneurship at work. hope this is being done by real zambians.
Ata se fyonse ni ku Lusuka na i fye tuka putalako CB So that we develop it.
Its nice that such are coming up . Can somebody tell me the status of the plot where Astra used to be. I ve not been in kt for a long time
Nice start but I hope this spreads to all parts of the country.
I honestly would love to see 3D in Nakonde where they started praying ati ichalo chapwa when they saw a spot light.
Anti Jerabo. The plot in question is now officially an open air sex outlet for those who enjoy standing. The only movie showing there is “Ingila pakati yamatanta”. The council has failed to resolve the issue with a would be developer and the matter has been in court for the last 7 years in which period that guy “shangai joe” the lame guy who used to cane us with a hose pipe has since died in the process od waiting for a new cinema
Less of these Shopping Malls and more of Manufacturing factories please, I hope the Govt. would encourage more local entrepreneurs to invest in the Manufacturing and Agricultural sectors!!
It is better than Arckads Cinemas by far!
its Arcades boy! \:d/ :-\”
CB we r coming next year in Ndola,be patient
@benx
how did you take your wife for a movie and in which country? certainly not zambia because you can not be in zambia yesterday and today in southern part of russia
but that was a good joke
imwe ba kitwe council. whats wrong with you? bring back our astra cinema. and dont forget our stranded pillar in the process. who else can we cry at since our city fathers have failed us?
3D is not as expensive as i thought it would be. soon Arcades will also have 3D
Please Zambians send your hard-earned money on essential things not this rubbish!!
I think the price list for the VIP section is wrong. LT kindly confirm
local investment is what we need . keep it up and more to other city’s as well
I took time to check out a movie and to my disappointment, management at the cinema’s are cutting corners and not switching on the air-conditioning units. with over 100 viewers, the place was virtually boiling and man, didnt I sweat like hell!
I complained to the attendants but they are so dead scared of their boss that they dont just care.
Please dont compromise standards..make it worthwhile and comfortable. I will stick to Arcades!
K15000 is actually cheaper than $10.00 here in Canada.
We need one here in Kapiri Mposhi as well.
So, is there anywhere where you can find out the showtimes of this fancy new theater? Been looking and can’t find them anywhere online.
nice…
Am asking is how much to watch 3D movie???????????????
Did they change the prices??? walala.
I’ve been browsing on-line greater than three hours these days, yet I never found any interesting article like yours. It’s pretty worth sufficient for me. In my view, if all website owners and bloggers made just right content as you probably did, the web shall be a lot more useful than ever before.
You’ve been changing prices recently,so where are you at now?
how much does it cost now
Now normal ticket = k50
3D movie = k100
expensive but we have no choice , no other cinemas in zed
