The ruling Patriotic Front government says it will not allow critics with well-known hidden agendas to disturb the plans it has for the people of Zambia.
Lusaka province minister Colonel Gerry Chanda said the government will not allow itself to fall into a trap by responding to everything that critics say.
Colonel Chanda noted that the government is aware of detractors, who just wake up with nothing good to offer, and attack government unnecessarily.
Speaking to QFM, Colonel Chanda said the government has an enormous task ahead of it that the people of Zambia have bestowed upon it.
He said government under the leadership of President Michael Sata means serious business and is doing things systematically.
Colonel Chanda has assured every Zambian that the PF government will leave a living legacy that the country will be a much better place than they found it in.

@ Abana: Sure, development takes time but even 9 months is not too soon to see some clear directions, especially from a party that went around boasting it would sort everything out in 90 days. No one put a gun to Mr. Sata’s head to make that promise, so if he really meant what he said and had a clear idea of what to do why have there been so many flip-flops and reversals? We should also not pretend than 9 months is too short. This is almost 20% of PF’s elected term so should be seeing some real progress on things mentioned in the Manifesto. For example, how are things going with upgrading of all primary schools, rehabilitation and adequate staffing of all health facilities, construction (even designing) of ring roads around all major cities, and so many other things voters were promised?

How can a govt think of critics as a disturbance to they laid down plans? This arguement is below expectations of educated Zambians. PF is riding on the basis of blind followers. Explain the roadmap and stick to the roadmap, then we know were you are taking this country. As things stand no it dochi kubeba PF have no plans of how to develop this country. 9 months vs 90 days what does it mean. At least by now you policy direction on a number of things would be known i.e. internation policy (and not shouting slogans for other countries, appointing relatives into foreign mission), Agriculture policy, mining and tax. Anyway why waste time on you PF all you see if Bemba and your party.

Colonel Chanda only *****s can not see the progress the Government is doing. So as you say please concentrate on delivering and making Lusaka province an example and lead others and forget about these *****s who just want to complain. PF is on the right track.
