Princess Anne of Great Britain is expected in the country tomorrow on an official visit forming part of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations.
This is according to a press release by British High Commissioner to Zambia James Thornton in Lusaka today.
Princess Anne from the United Kingdom who is the only daughter of Princess Elizabeth will be in Zambia from September 24 to 28, 2012.
The Princess is expected to meet acting President Alexander Chikwanda, visit National Assembly and address members of the house, other government officials and will also various charities institutions in Lusaka and Livingstone.
She is also scheduled to lay wreaths at the War Memorial at the Victoria Falls in Livingstone to commemorate volunteers whose lives were lost in the two world wars.
Mr Thornton said the visit to Zambia by the Princess is an indication of the two countries standing relations.
“I am delighted that Princess Anne will be coming to Zambia. The visit highlights the deep roots Zambia and the United Kingdom share as well as the lively modern relationship between our countries, he said.
“Together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we have organised an exciting programme that will show Her Royal Highness the real essence of Zambia, he added.

This is embarrassing bo Lusaka Times. Surely cant you get the titles correct. in your article you have made two mistakes.
1. Princess Anne is The Princess Royal (and not the Royal Princess). I believe everyone who is a princess would have to be royal in the first place.

Surely you can re-read the press release from the High Commission and confirm this.
