Patriotic Front suspended former Lusaka Province Chairman Davis Chama says party cadres who have petitioned Secretary General Wynter Kabimba to have Kabwata Member of Parliament Given Lubinda removed are hired by those who feel threatened by Mr. Lubinda’s hard work.

Mr. Chama has charged that the 144 petitioners do not hold the opinion of Kabwata constituency residents who hold their Member of Parliament in higher esteem and voted for him whole heartedly.

He says it is unfortunate and highly suspicious that all these developments are taking place when Mr. Lubinda who is also Foreign Affairs Minister is out of the country on official duties.

Mr. Chama says it is therefore clear that a high ranking official of the ruling party is engineering and mobilizing cadres to denounce Mr. Lubinda.

He observes denouncing Mr. Lubinda whose appointment is supported by the Republican President is merely rebelling against the appointing authority.

And Mr. Chama notes that such a development has the potential to further deepen the already existing divisions in the party.

He has since urged PF officials to stop playing to the gallery but seek to resolve internal issues privately.

  1. Go ahead ba PF and shoot yourself in the foot by removing this man. This is just about the only man in PF that is widely respected.Bring it on.Expel him at your own peril and he’ll win back his seat by a landslide on any party.

  2. this man has been suspended, what can he educate us? he is equally an outlaw. NO ONE IS INDESPENSIBLE IN A CLUB. EVEN THE CHAIRMAN IN EVERY CLUB ADHERES TO THE RULES OF THE CLUB TO SURVIVE. hon lubinda has answered the charge and the central committee will scrutinise it. he can be expelled like any other person. most of you bloggers jast think he is indespensible. No even if he joined UPND he wont win.

  3. just chase this satanist guy, havnt people
seen that in most casses his putting on the satanic black jacket and red tie. these online papers why dont you investigate these guys.

    • KABIMBA Would have fired ACC bosses for not arresting lubinda..kekeke…LUBINDA IS FEARLESS!!! just wait, he will tell off kabimba at the right time.

  4. kabimba is the one spearheading the trash against the indian coloured. kabimba has never won an election even at party level. he is jealous of God Given Lubinda

  5. @ Bongwe, from your writings, I think you are PF and very passionate about the party; there is nothig wrong with this. But please ask yourself why Winter so desperrate in “disciplining”” his fellow senior party members through the press! Why can’t he treat these as bedroom issues and sort them out quietly? A lot of us are very sympathetic of the PF despite us not being card carrying members. And we are the majority. Please lead us not into temptation.

  6. The PF NEC must take steps to stop this potential implosion. PF should learn from the unfortunate happenings in MMD. Kambwili has said something sensible which his fellow kaponyas in PF should heed.

  7. Do unto others what you expect others to do unto you, is this not the same imbecile ( Winter) who cried foul when the anti- corruption summoned him through the press, but the ***** went flat out in the media to label force allegations against Lubinda, that issue should have been handled internally. Don`t wash dirt linen in the public.I pity this man, let him do all the dirt work and by the end of the day someone else will come and take over from Ukwa, ask Ukwa how treated his friends in MMD only to be dumbed for Levy. The nigga will cry foul and by then he would have created so many enemies.

  8. Appreciate a true servant of the people who has not only served the people of Kabwata but still serving the entire nation diligently. We don’t need a professor to help us understand what is happening in PF now but we can see very clearly. It is all about power struggle and soon or later the culprit/s behind this will be known. Careful not to dig your own grave!

  9. To be honest I never knew Kabimba he’s just here to distabilise the party or PF just want to divert our attention as youths cause they have failed to give us jobs. Last week they subjected every Agric graduate to interviews and will only employ 10 out 300 am sure, 4 months ago they subjected 900 graduates to nonsense aptutude tests for 11 ZRA positions which are given to their relatives, they even put names in da paper as if they are creating employment. Stop this drama Kabimba we want ideas on how u will create jobs or let as share the billions u will use on Namulambe’s bye-election we start businesses.

  10. i rarely comment on these issues but its very clear that Kabimba is scheming something with the blessings of Sata himself. Kabimba wouldnt have the audacity to do what he’s doing without Sata knowing about it, this is why it very hard to think that Kabimba is acting alone. please PF dont disappont me too soon like this.if Given is wrong why bring it to the media even before he explains himself? cant you nincompoops sit down and chat the way forward?

  11. The President is enjoying all this confusion with all his power he could stop this immediately but since he is behind all this, he wants to destroy the party when he steps down in 2016.

  12. Lubinda is as innocent as my 2 year old nephew. I am proud of his innocence while Kabimba is stinkingly dirty with corruption wrapped all over his body. If Sata had morals, he would have fired Kabimba long ago for conniving with the thug oil firm responsible for hundreds of deaths in Ivory Coast.

  13. The nonsense of protesting and demanding the removal of Lubinda will discredit the PF. Those hooligans at Kabwata must know that the constituency is large with thousands of people who were not consulted the day they protested.
The instigator of this is an enemy of the party.

  14. If the PF has run out of ideas, let’s sit down together and discuss.

The problem is that if President Sata doesn’t act on this, it looks like it has his approval.

Anyway, the PF has to be much more open about why they refuse to collect the taxes due from the mines, and why they renounced the very effective Windfall Tax.

For example: if they collected another $100 million in taxes, this could be handed out as 10,000 x $10,000 small business grants every year, which would start at least 1,000 new surviving businesses a year.

If they collected another $100 million, they could finance 2000 farms a year with $50,000 in capital investments – small irrigation dams, wells, machinery.

By leaving mining taxes on the table, they are leaving development on the table too.

  15. I have always held Lubinda in high esteem. He is a principled politician. But if it is true that he has been acting treacherously it is very unfortunate. I don’t think he can go to that extent in view of position he holds in the PF government. You mean Given can dare the appointing authority by leaking information to the opposition which he knows very well that it is incapable of forming government during this generation? Yes I have read before in the online publication called Zambian Watchdog where the publication boasts of having an insider in the PF government who gives them subtle information which they use to discredit the president and the government. Now, in all fairness can any discerning person depend on publications of the said watchdog for facts? It is all gutter journalism.
