PRELIMINARY results of a postmortem conducted on Patriotic Front (PF) Livingstone by-election campaign manager Obvious Mwaliteta’s cook Johan Lyakoka who died on Saturday have indicated that the death was as a result of a road traffic accident.
The body of Lyakoka, aged 19, was found in the early hours of Saturday on Livingstone-Lusaka Road opposite Crossroad Lodge.
Southern Province police chief Charity Katanga said preliminary results of yesterday’s postmortem revealed that Mr Lyakoka died after a hit and ran road accident in Livingstone.
Ms Katanga said the initial results have since been communicated to the family of the deceased people.
After the postmortem, the body of Mr Lyakoka was taken to Sioma District in Western Province for burial.

I am sure if he had a chance, he would have advised the police to withold the findings of the postmoterm. Who saw Mwaliteta’s cook last the day before his dearth? Did Mwaliteta’s cook go to sleep alone in the house/lodge the last night he went to bed? Who were with the cook the night and hour when he left his sleeping place/house/bed at the time of his leaving to be found in the reported road accident? Could it be an inside brutal act but turned political to cover up foot prints or clues or to hide the actual murderers lest they reveal the unthinkable? Or could it that there is a political party which is instigating and manufacturing political violence and dearths so that they make political capital out of accusing other political enemies? I thought there is a 24 hour police road block just some metres away from the spot being described. How come police did not see that until the body was found in the morning? Opposite Cross Roads there is some activity every time of day and night, and no so that accident happen?

Last year was at Crossroads as a Guest and having beer in the Bar, a person was hit just around 23hrs and it was loud enough for all of us to get by the gate and Cross roads guard rushed their it was a hit and run. We called the Police using our mobile and the Man responsible was arrested driving a GRZ vehicle the next day. Police should equally get info from the Guard on duty on that fateful day.
