All politicians both in the ruling and opposition in the country have been challenged to tell Zambians the sources of funding for their campaigns.
And Acting President Dr Guy Scott has been challenged to tell the nation who funded the PF General Conference in Kabwe when the party earlier said they had no resources to host the event.
Addressing journalists today, Zambian Voice Executive Director Chilufya Tayali observes that politicians are mortgaging the country to foreigners.
Mr. Tayali notes that leaders in the country luck political independence hence performance has been questioned when they are elected in government.
He has since challenged UPND Leader Hakainde Hichilema to declare his interest in foreign companies and alleged of funding his campaigns clear out the speculation.
He has also called on the PF President Edgar Lungu to also tell the nation who is funding his campaigns.
He says it is surprising that Mr. Lungu who was also said to have mo resources is now able to use a chartered plane for campaigns.
Ba LT you should have added that they don’t even have money to pay the farmers.

When you have answered that question, then you can start asking others.
Guy Scott will tell lies as that is what he does best. And HH will wait to hear the PF lies and then make another “empty promise” to reveal if elected.
I honestly believe that Jan 2015 will work to disadvantage anyone with ambitions beyond 2016. Especially if they do not have enough MP support in parliament to achieve anything. Those with Zambian national interest at heart he will consider the suggested national unity Govt which will have the constitution as the sole pledge for Zambians while stabilising the nation both socially and economically. Tribalism is growing and it won’t go away with Politician who have a battle on their hands for 2016.

I have no doubt that in normal circumstances, HH does deserve a go at the Presidency but I do not believe the next 18 months are for anyone with big ambitions. Otherwise they will just be lying and promising things they can’t deliver.
What we need as a nation now is healing and not more promises and raised hopes that can’t materialise before the general election in 2016. Therefore a Unity Govt is the only genuine answer for 2015

Vodka Lungu is abusing state resources including Zesco money for his campaigns. He is doing that for the benefit of himself, his family and his cohorts only. Yet the same govt has stolen maize worth K900m from farmers and refuses to pay for it.

Normal reasoning Zambians should realize that PF has always been & will always be a party of tribalism, nepotism, rascalism, violence, lumpens, scums, thieves, lawlessness, retrogression, & economic prostitution. As clearly evident from the recent happenings, this is a party that can not even uphold its own constitution. Contrary to normal expectations, the party instead promotes & condones violence & lumpenism. Surely, how can you entrust a pack of jackals like PF to rule & run the affairs of mother Zambia. Hopefully, Zambians will vote sensibly come Jan 20 2015 & salvage Zambia from these rascals and jackals!

It is also fair to present necessary evidence proving that campaign funds were obtained fraudulently or from criminal gangs. If the evidence to incriminate the campaign managers is missing, then it is better to address the campaign issues. It is not fair to make wild accusations without any proof. The moral uprightness is not a monopoly of civil society.
