   • I know the job of Edgar Lungu, and has been absent so far this year as Minister. I am sure he is NOT enjoying his current job as presidential-seeker.
     I don’t know HH’s job, all I know is that he enjoys it.

3. I think today’s message is meant for HH and his team of delusional cadres, and his family members abroad that are extorting him out of his ill begotten riches. I pray, Lord give HH wisdom to realise he is merely wasting his resources and time and will ultimately lose the forthcoming elections as he is unpopular in Zambia as is clearly seen by us who are on the ground..dear Lord guide the followers of UPND to see the light and not cause chaos when the result everyone is expecting of Edgar C. Lungu emerging victorious at the Presidential elections is announced, dear Lord remove their bitterness, hatred and selfishness, the same hatred that made them wish death on our dearly departed Leader Michael Chiluya Sata who time and time again forgave their leader HH.

   • LT got its seed money to start up from the Dutch government back in 1998…I do not think their white paymasters would be happy if they started printing articles about black consciousness and black unity or encourage the natives to read about self on the website on Sunday…their Dutch shareholders still have vested interest. Its more convenient to keep the native under this spell of religion as you have more control over him like the slave masters did; they denied everything to the slave from his culture to his gods and his language but encouraged him to practice Christianity.

5. Dear Joe and Victoria,

   I very much appreciate your desire to serve the Lord through the word. However I have noted that your massages are always on motivation to feeling good as one lives here on earth. These types of messages are directed to believers who are already saved but to those who are not saved we preach the gospel so that they get save in Jesus Christ the Lord. It would be very good of you two to also preach the gospel some times as you know on this thread there so many people under the rule of the devil. Find a time to preach the gospel to them not always motivating them and yet are perishing. Hope you have taken this into consideration.

9. PRAYER DOES NOT WORK

   Many people find it comforting to believe that someone else is looking out for them, watching over them, and guiding them gently through the path of life. Indeed, life would be so much simpler if someone else were responsible for our destiny, for countering evil with good, ensuring that caring people enjoy a comfortable afterlife. Many well-intentioned but misguided people will tell you prayer is the answer to the problems of the world. They’d have you believe that if only you pray often enough and hard enough, you can realize your most precious goals.
   Unfortunately, this is not reality. The untold suffering throughout the world should be evidence enough that no benevolent creator is watching over us, . People start wars, people abuse children and…. and…and

10. Even people who agree with me that prayer is useless question why I feel so compelled to petition against it. But prayer is not just a harmless waste of time for those who choose to practice it. Prayer is harmful when people use it instead of going to a doctor. Prayer is harmful when people use it instead of hard work, logic, and common sense to find a better job or otherwise improve their lives. Prayer, when combined with using grocery money to buy lottery tickets, is particularly damaging. In a nutshell, prayer offers false hope, and diverts people’s attention from what they really should be doing to succeed. If prayer actually worked, everyone would be a millionaire, nobody would ever get sick and die, and both football teams would always win. Saying prayer works is the same as saying…

11. ……that wishful thinking alone can solve problems. It’s also unreasonable to argue that prayer consoles and comforts those who believe in it. If that were really true, why do the believers keep going back to church week after week, like an addict in need of a fix?

12. Gaining knowledge about the world we live in is in the best interest of mankind. If we understand how disease thrives and spreads, we can develop effective cures. If we understand agriculture, we can reduce starvation. And if we understand psychology, we can strive to be a happier and more tolerant society. These are important and worthy goals which, unfortunately, defy the very definition of the term “faith.” Yet many otherwise intelligent people leave their logical powers at the curb when they enter their chosen house of worship.

13. PRAYER IS NOT THE ANSWER

    Only you can control your success and happiness. Work hard and be a good person for its own value, not from fear of an imaginary god.

14. Great message. It instills good work ethic. Our citizens need good work ethic and self discipline for our Country to move forward. If it is to be, it is up to us. God bless you guys at LT.

    A very easy way to get a following, rather than to prove yourself on merit and let your works speak for you.
