Choma Eagles dropped to second place after they forced a goalless draw away at Mufulira Wanderers at Shinde Stadium in Mufulira.
This was Choma’s third consecutive draw that followed two victories in their first two games.
In the match at Shinde Stadium both Mighty and Eagles missed several chances in each half.
Wanderers missed a chance to take an early lead when forward Lameck Silwaba saw his 8th minute low shot hit the post before it was cleared from the box.
Silwaba was again unlucky as his 45th minute goal-bound shot was cleared off the line by Choma’s striker Paul Malama.
Eagles too had a fair share of missing with Mwila Phiri hitting the crossbar with a long range effort.
In the end a goalless draw was a true reflection of what transpired in this match witnessed by a huge crowd at Shinde Stadium.
