President Mwanawasa has with immediate effect terminated the services of Solicitor General Sunday Nkonde.
This is contained in a stastement issued by State House Chief Analyst for Press and Public Relations David Kombe and made available to ZANIS today.
In his letter to Mr. Nkonde the President said: “I wish to inform you that I have, Pursuant to Article 55(3) of the constitution of Zambia removed you from office as Solicitor General with immediate effect.”
Dr Mwanawasa thaked Mr nkonde for the services he rendered to the nation and wished him the best in his future endravours.
Mr. Dr. President, what is the problem with Mr. Sunday? I strongly think we deserve the right to know! When are you going to fire the energy minister like you did to Mpombo whom I believed was a sacrifical lamb? Zedias tell us what Nkonde has done.
Mr Nkonde, l guess you have learn t a lesson from believing in mwanawasa. he has a vendetta over certain people therefore if you do not comply you have no place. your days mwanawasa and your friends are numbered
