Expect No Votes in Kasempa, Pande

Share

Kasempa Member of Parliament, Kabinga Pande has told the opposition political parties not to expect any vote from the area, where he said the people know only the MMD which they want to continue with its development programmes.

Mr. Pande who is also Foreign Affairs Minister said this after inspecting the Kasempa – Mumbwa Road which is under construction. He said the people of Kasempa would not make the mistake of voting for the opposition, because they dont want the ongoing development projects in the area to come to a stand still.

He said, after touring the many development projets in Kasempa, he would embark on a vigorous campaign for the MMD Presidential aspirant Rupiah Banda, who is currently the Acting Republican President.

Mr. Pande further said, the one or two votes which the opposition might get will be spoiled votes.

And Kasempa member of Parliament Kabinga Pande has expressed concern over the slow pace of the construction work of a 1 by 2 class room block at Shapenda Basic School and a health post in the same area.

The Foreign Affairs Minister also was not happy to see uncompleted houses for agriculture extension officers at Katatenda, work which he said was started in June this year.

He said it was saddening that construction work was still at slab level, whereas at some schools which received funding during the same period, construction work was at roof level.

Mr. Pande called upon the Kasempa Health Management Team to ensure that the health post under construction in the area was completed before the end of this year.

  1. Take it easy iwe minister coz people will decide who to vote for on that date. We know what you guys are going to do thats why you have brought back VJ. Why is he with RB in Kasama when the chap said he had retired for politics. Bakabwalala mwapya ubwato.

  2. Ba Pande, are you sure of what you are saying. The opposition will carry on with those projects.Imwe yama Kuya bebele Zwaaaa, Tuli pabwato

  3. What the minister should have said is “we are hopeful of good votes in Kasempa.” But of course, what do you expect from imature politics? He speaks as though he owns the people of Kasempa. I thought this supposed to be our Foreign Affairs Minister. Leaves much to be desired!!

  4. How does a minister go so low when vote are supposed to be secret?
Let October 30 come, people go out to vote and when the counting is done, then you can make noise.

  5. BA PANDE!!! Mwaibala bwanji? KK once threatened us, ‘Come November 1…’, but stout FTJ triumphed. The clock is stuck at 1 o’clok and the oat is coming with swirling storms to come and pick it for repairs in Taiwan. The Taiwanese engineers would say it’s beyond repair for it would be brought up by RB – Rejected Boy, so, it’s a reject clock. TIME TO BATHE COUNTRYMEN, GET IN MC’S BOAT AND CRUISE TO LOWER TAXES, MORE MONEY IN POCKETS AND RECLAIM OUR LAND ECONOMICALLY. Umwine wa nkoloko, FTJ, ewasunga ka re-winder, not RB.

  6. Who is he to say what votes will end up in the ballot box unless he is admitting in advance that the ‘one or two spoiled votes’ will be as a result of MMD rigging? And then he says he will go on a campaign round AFTER tourig the area when HE IS ALREADY ON A CAMPAIGNING ROUND.

  7. Does anyone know the last time he visited his constituency before the campaigns started? I bet it was a looong time ago!!

  8. Guys let MMD campaign, why are we hating, its politics and if the opposition choose where they campaign they should not complain when MMD wins. In the last election Sata insulted the people of NW province. Please lets be objective and not just insult politicians, tell your parties to go round and campaign not just saying pabwato pabwato just for the sake of saying it. This is why we still lag behind, we are quick to insult but offer no viable alternative. Pande was in Kasempa just before the president went to Egypt and there after the burial. oppostion stand up or keep it shut!

  9. The elections will only be in luapula, northern, southern and on the C/B the rest is for Banda If you argue prove wrong in november.

  10. They Bembas have refused vote for other tribes even when things are clear eg mazoka they brought mwanawasa the man they hated to fight the bantu batatwe lozi kaonde alliance (western union)in 2001 so that they can use him, mwanawasa had constantly said he was declared the winner not the winner that means they rigged the elections a case of treason which banda should start working on after he is elected.Other tribes had voted for Kaunda five times they knew he was from chinsali for for chiluba two times but the Bembas can not they still want people to vote sata even when in this day and age he is not qualified they insult politcians from the western union and claim that teti ateke.

  11. #20 Bisa or Bamba is just the same. Does sata speak in Bisa at his meetings? Its just Bemba wherever he goes. Just imagine, even if he went to Mongu he would still want to use Bemba.

  12. May the best candidate win irrespective of tribe. It is shocking that people are still talking in terms of tribal origins in 2008!There is only one Zambia, tribes are an irrelevance in this day and age.

  13. BA KABINGA PANDE KASEMPA TEYENU IYOO.ABANTU BA KA VOTER IFWOBALEFWAYA.DON`T FORCE PEOPLE VOTE FOR MMD MWALIPWA IMWE BA MMD.NI PA BWATO UNO MUKULO.V.J WACHABECHABEFWE.HIS SINS SHALL SORT HIM OUT.HE THINK IS CLEAVER,BT ONE DAY TUKAKUMANA NANKWE.

  14. YOU PF SUPPORTERS TAMWISHIBE ATI SATA NGA ABA PABUFUMU AKAMEKINGA SURE ATI AIBA INDALAMA PAKUTI ABANA BAKWE BAKACHITILEMO BENEFIT AS HE IS AGING. YOU HAVE BEEN LOOSING SINCE YOU FORMED YOUR SO-CALLED PF PARTY. WHY CAN’T YOU JUST BACK DOWN AND LEAVE ZAMBIA WITH ONLY ONE PARTY (MMD)?

  15. Pande is a let down. No wonder he left BOZ. He is campaigning for RB, when in actual fact he should have been the candidate.

  16. #33 what a way of thinking, pipo should not back down coz they have lost, thats being cowards. All parties cannot win at the same time. Are you telling us that Zambia should go back to one party state? Eyoo, mulibapuba.

  17. #36Bane these are the real issues national security, imagine if Mazoka all those who voted for him started a war backed by outsiders who also thought he had won.The country was going to be lost then what issues where you going to talk about with your IQ.That is why the of next president is to go back and investigate 2001 election results arrest and prosecute the wanting for treason. He can not serve our country more than that and talk about the economy which economy. Our country was lost we were under a dark cloud. The punderers wanted a civil war so that they can escape justice. Just drink your VODGA MAICHE ULI RUSSIA.

  18. Sata should NEVER be allowed to rule Zambia. He has no vision and that is why he has no farm. All the properties he has are properties dubiously acquired. Don’t experiment with such lazy people who want to control everything they have never worked for. Abash Sata.

  19. I’m happy with the rural pipo slowly tribalism is dieing in there minds.politicians like Sata are distroying everything..
Easterners voted Mwanawasa insteat of ken ngondo or miyanda
Luapula voted Mwanawasa more than sata
    northerners was 50/50
    westerners voted mwanawasa
    North western voted mwanawasa
Did you know that in the CB alot of pipo voted mwanawasa? It has been discoverd that PF supported who where counting the ballot papers rigged.
2 MMD candidates where declared winners after a recount….
If PF won’t rig again RB will win.. VIVA one zambia one nation
Southerners wake UP.. Its not about tribe anymore.

  20. i don’t care who wins, all i need is peace, good policies and development to continue in all rural areas of zambia. Western media is always showing 1 dollar per day as thought we do not haveresources to help the rural areas, but not Sata the Cobra for sure.
