Patriotic front leader, Michael Sata on Saturday morning stormed the Electoral Commission of Zambia election results center claiming Thursday’s presidential poll had been rigged.
Mr. Sata, who was visibly angry accused the ECZ of releasing inflated figures.
He alleged that constituencies in Eastern Province can not have 75 percent turnout when the poll has been characterised by apathy.
Mr. Sata said he was surprised that Acting President, Rupiah Banda is catching up with him in results released so far.
He also accused foreign journalists and international monitors of being biased because they have not portrayed the facts on the ground.
But ECZ Public Relations Manager, Chris Akufuna, said he could not comment on the matter because the PF leader had no facts.
Mr. Akufuna said the commission is just releasing results from constituencies where all parties have representatives.

Well , kind of expected this didn’t we? Ghost voters all who have voted in favour of RB? Well, once someone is sworn in tomorrow, you can forget all about turning things around.
ITS VJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJ`s work

lets kill vj
i agree with sata the turn out has been around 30% across the country hence total votes could have been around 1300,000. The apathy will not end because of rigging. why voting when the will of people is not prevailing? Zambia! Peace be with you Zambia!
I agree with Sata, why has the international media not covered our elections like they did for Zimbabwe and Kenya. With this kind of nosense, Zambia will not develop.
Wait for the remaining votes. This is not time to make noise
chaos…
i will never vote in my life this was my last vote . too much rigging mmd and i will never trust them.
I LIKE SATA’S LINE OF REASONING SOME FIGURES ARE JUST TOO MUCH IN CERTAIN VILLAGES, WHEN I WAS IN ZAMBIA I HAPPEN TO TOUR WESTERN PROVINCE RURAL AREAS AND I CANT IMAGINE 7000 PEOPLE VOTING IN LIUWA EAST OF KALABO, THE PLACE IS A PLAIN WITH VILLAGERS WHO LIVE APART WITH POOR LEVELS OF INTEREST IN POLITICS, 7000 VOTERS HELO VJ
By the way HH 2011 or may be Magande.
Yeah! I am enjoying this. The only candidate who had ‘MAMMOTH’ rallies at each and every place is NOT winning by a landslide. And now he is crying. Ooh! Poor old man. The boat has sunk, the old bath tab and even the one you used for filing nominations have all sunk too. The time of reckoning has come. Sata you are NOT a democrat, you are a dangerous dictator. How can you accept these results when you have NEVER been elected even in your own party. Don’t waste our time, just go home and cry. What was the cost of hiring your chopper? Wina alila manje. This is good!
I know its painfull to lose an elction i sympathise with you PF supporters. MMD is popular in rural areas so what sata should do is to start compaigning in rural areas (all provinces) instead of lusaka and copperbelt. Eastern, Nort Western and Western voters have denied Sata’s chance of becoming the 4th Zambian president. Hard lucky cobra ukutangila tekufika you know bemba better than me. Try again. Fred Mmembe must be crying now and VJ is laughing.
Rigging or no rigging, Sata and HH have just proved to be strategically and tactically deficient. They should have learnt from the 2006 elections. As for Sata, he thinks he is such a political geneous. Its time he allowed other people to take over from him. Three times of loses is enough. Get out of the way mdala!!
You have lost. If you won they would have been faith. So now that you lose you theink they have rigged. Please pass the evidence to the high court. VJ is a zambian national so he has got a RIGHT to travel any where in Zambia hw wishes.Friends, this is way you get when you votes on tribal lines. Once again, CB,Lusaka, Southern, Northern and Luapula are not Zambia.
Very sad indeed. Bo Akufuna Chris whats going on?
Bane take it easy there’s still hope for sata.He is the one who wil carry the day.
AWE ZE BIGE YOU HAVE JUST LOST CLEANLY. DIDN’T YOU PLANT MEN ON GROUND. DON’T BRING CONFUSIONS PLIZ.
it was clear from the word go that mmd will win. looks like mmd is worse than kaunda’s one party system and wamuyaya slogan. we also have to blame the oppotion for their greediness. if they had merged, things would have been different. but them all power hungry. hope in 2011 we shall see a change, unity and fairness.
Boma ni Boma baba!
No one can win elections without a good showing in all the provinces, period!
But Satas strongholds also has similar number of voters in the rural areas..and the voter turn out was almost 60% on the copperbelt.. no one complained
Fisanga abaume bakamba not inkoko so nangu tuwine nangu tuluse nizi
thats nonsence the elections are indeed being rigged….why vote….
-why does the ECZ put dull people in rural area who can take 2 days – just counting 5000 papers?
-why should it always be MMD strongholds counted last?
-why is it that MMD strongholds have always people who are lazy in -terms of work and simple arithmatics?
-why should it be that MMD stronghold’s voters turnout ARE IN big percentages while the rest of the country has below average?
I can go on and on but somebody needs to give me reasonable answers on the above plz.
IT SEEMS I WILL NEVER VOTE AGAIN COZ ITS ALL POINTLESS.
Ba Sata Ba Post can misled remember those headlines “Mwa mukola”. I thought it will be like in 1991 81% led by PF.

Just shut up,Loud Mouth.Hold your Venom and leave VJ out of this.
How can one man be so infamous about so-called rigging.
He slowly turning him into a myth.
The post built a cult around you and you actually started to believe it yourself.
HH,make up with Saki and others then you will be considered favourably.Kozo
hehehehehe ba pf then u also rigged in lusaka nd copperbelt
MMD use rural areas to rig elections. in 2011 people will speak again but let Sata and HH start talking first.
That thief VJ again has done it again…but this time he started at a wrong time..no wonder PF wins the day
well its another dark three years for Zambia. RB as Zambian president God help us.
Bane, is true that people are Rioting in chipata compound? update us pulizeeee!
Jesus save our beloved country.
8 #i agree with you i understand why people end up becoming suiced guy’s me i am read to be used just for the seek of villager who do not know anything but just to sale zed for a packet of sugar
for the international media that’s why mugabe dealt with them they are really annoying.
it is not over until vj and the team are under 6fits my heart is bleeding.
any way let us wait and see.
International media have nothing to do with anything, we as Zambians have to fight our own battles, not the internatonal media. Those celebrating a rigged election show that they appreciate what MMD can do at all costs to stay in power. I mean where have you seen a single party staying in power for 18 years. C’mon people thats why we got rid of Kaunda in the first place!!! This is what we fought against in 1991 but here we are celebrating.
HE IS NOW GETTING THE JITTERS BECAUSE DE-JAVU! ELECTIONS ARE NOT WON BY PARTY CARD CARRYING MEMBERS BUT INDEPENDENTS. YOU CAN VOTE FOR OR VOTE AGAINST. MOST PEOPLE VOTED AGAINST KAUNDA IN 1991. THE STRONGER THE FEELING AGAINST SOMEONE THE MORE PEOPLE COME OUT TO VOTE. APATHY MEANS THEY HAVE NOTHING TO CHOOSE EITHER WAY. GOING BY THE NUMBER OF DEFECTIONS IN ZAMBIAN POLITICS, THERE IS NO CLEAR BLUE WATER BETWEEN THESE PARTIES, BECAUSE WHAT ONE SAYS TODAY IN ONE PARTY WILL BE WRONG TOMORROW WHEN THEY CROSS OVER.
all parties agreed on the modalities and fine details of the voting process. just because you are losing, you want to disturb the peace.
you have your monitors in place at all these stations. they count all that put theur balot papers in the ballot box and then reconcile and verify at the end of the day. where is the oportunity for rigging. please.dont be a sore loser an d start making accusations unless you have solid proof. the mature thing is for you to compile your facts and present them in a petition. simple.not rabble rousing.just admit you failed to acknowledge the power of the villagers, who have turned out to be the trunk card for RB.sorry there will be no next time for you sata
let me pose a question, why haven’t we witnessed a situation where mmd’s so called strongholds being announced first? VJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJ
Whats the point of voting, sheer wastage of resources.
Leave VJ out of results not all zambians voted for Sata. Some voted for HH, others RB and yet others saw leadership in General GM
WHEN I COME TO ZAMBIA I WILL SHOOT VJ HE LIKE TO DRINK AT PALMWOOD LODGE IN CHADLEIGH I WILL AMBUSH HIM, WATCH THIS SPACE, PF 2011.
HH should realize one thing. Running a business is differnt from governing people. In business you deal with commodities that have no feelings which you can manupulate at will. In politics you deal with people full emotions and feelings not very easy to manupulate. So the fact that he could be successful in business does not translate into success in politics. In the meantime, forget about 2011.
DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF A QUIET MAN
Ci Mphuno isnt my president
Imwe losing iliko bad but lets not lose our senses how can you accuse the international media of rigging? or not bringing out what is on the ground? what? they are not monitors but reporters! And by the way international media will not waste resources in a peaceful country like Zambia when neighbouring Congo is boiling. They will ask a resident part time correspondent to update them!
Moreover among those who didn’t vote some did not see a leader among the four presidental candidates.
The sooner VJ succums to HIV the better
One thing iv noticed in Zambia is that those who really fight to become president never make it..Just look at our history…Kapwepwe really wanted it but Kaunda got it.In 1991 FTJ was not even one of the founders of MMD but he scooped the seat.2001 LPM was just woken from his sleep.RB then retired from politics was appointed by Levy and now hes president.Therfore SATA and HH can never be presidents of Zambia because they really want it..Lastly my advice for you who want to become president is all you have to do is just chill and for sure someone will come and wake you up from slumber. Its plain and simple “BOLA PANSHI”..Thats the strategy im using!!
BAKAPONYA IT’S NOT EASY TO GET TO PLOT 1. PF 683174
MMD 711477. ZAMBEZI WEST AND SIKONGO TO VICTORY
Hmmm, it looks like RB will be our next president. Next it will be in house campaigns or should I say selection of the Vice President…. I wonder who RB has in mind?? Who’s going to continue as a cabinet and who’ll be replaced. Any idea???
SATA is a wrong person to complain about rigging. He, with FTJ, enjoyed rigging when they were in power. This old thug thinks we have already forgotten. He must just retire from politics and start looking for money to pay for the chopper he was using. This guy will collapse because of credits. Athough i dont support RB he is a better evil
Am sure they will introduce sleeping break at the Parliament, ci Mphuno calilwala sleeping sickness
It’s funny how shallow people sink, now you’re blaming the international media for reporting ”what is on the ground” .
It seems PF likes this quoted statement,”what is on the ground” my a..
Just accept that you’re only strong in urban areas, you need to go deeper, the ruling govt has advantage coz they run the whole country & touch all corners.
True “Voter Rigger”.The levels of aparthy we have noticed in this election could mean one thing among many reasons. None of the candidates were appealing enough to the electorate.
I kinder knew this was gonna happen.Elections in Zed r meaningless. The gvt in power owaz still n cheat,Wats tha point of havin election wen ya gonna cheat? MMD u r cheats
I totally agree with you shimasta. i am ready to support you on your stance against chi vj. i like man
Although theres room for rigging Sata cannot win in eastern province just as RB can’t in northern. If Sata can accept that less than half of the people who attended his rallies were not eligible voters then he should accept the results that he was not popular country wide.Somehow the POST ZAMBIA is to blame for their one sided role in reporting.Mulongoti first thing sort THE POST OUT. They have become big headed to the extent of forsakening some vital news other than politics. Shame!
Please lets have proof of rigging and not just rumours.facts and not figments from ones fyamba intoxicated mind.
how come one didnt hear of any problems when it seemed PF was leading.
dont get me wrong, i voted for change as i believe that change is necessary as these mmd are to cosy with power. they needed to be changed even for the sake of change no matter who comes. even Ngondo if that was the case. but the villagers have spoken for us and dealt us another blow, just for a few packets of sugar and chitenge. such is our sad predicament.
Vote Rigger walasa! your analysis is great. When a ruling party sees long lines it should get worried. then people want change! voters will not burn themselves in the sun if they feel ‘so,so.. could be beta’ or ‘they are all the same’. Apathy is always a booster to the ruling party!
Ba MUNKOYO where are you when we need you most?? how about more genuine results please!!
#42 you shod be very carefull. rigging or no rigging sata aleteka. what you should is start parking your katundu going back Southern Rhodesia or Nyasaland whichever will be nearer to you or even DRC if you don’t mind.
compare the results from the remote corners of the country, they are havin more votes than urban areas with dense populations. I suggest central statistics provides the demograhical data for comparisons with the voters registration figures.
I have been to most border towns and there are large numbers of illegals from neighbouring countries especially along the Angola/DRC border line. With the questionable credibility of some MMD leaders, one wonders if these political/economic refugees are not the reason such madness continues to exist during elections.
What about those ballots that were already marked?? In Zambia we will quetly accept it and the riggers will be declared as winners. Yet we want the international media to do something about it when we as Zambians can fight for justice ourselves
Sure ba ECZ this is how you can treat your fllow citizens?????? Our chief justice a shame to society no legal guidaince for the masses!!!! Swearing ceremony on a sunday so that no one can stop the process hahahahha!!! shame on you Chief Justice and ECZ.I trust God will restore the pride of Zambia
I CARELESS ABOUT A COUNTRY WERE PEOPLE IN HIGH POSITIONS CLIMB THE LADDER THROUGH CORRUPTION AND RIGGING, I WILL NEVER RETURN TO SETTLE IN ZAMBIA, NAKULAUMFWAKOFYE, MWANYA MWACHULA ELYO KWACHA IS GOING DOWN I HEAR THERE IS RIOT IN CHIPATA COMPOUND AKWIPAYANENI BA MUMBWE. I WILL BE WATCH YOU ON CNN. LUPIYA BALANDA FOR PRESIDENT WHAT, IS NOT EVEN A MAVERIC OR CHARISMATIC ASTITUTE POLITICIAN, BUT GOD HAS A SENSE OF HUMOUR, LUPIYA FROM BEING LIFTEN AT THE FARM TO VICE PRESIDENT TO PRESIDENT MAMAMAMA, ANYWAY CHULENIPO, BA ZAMBIA.
# 57 the President does not seat in parliament. no need for a sleeping bed. for you own information alot of us doze when the message is boring. ever heard of boring preachers? ask the christians they know beta!
RUPIAH BANDA
sata knows that mmd will rig the election, he was part of the riggers when he was in power.
MMD are doing to him, what he did to others when he was in power,
PF, you bunch of SORE LOSERS hahaha, had you won it, you morons would have been insulting us by now! Face it, your leader is a kaponya & well meaning Zambian’s can never take that geezer seriously…Accept the poll results & strategize for 2011, assuming Sata will still be breathing. MMD is more than an individual, on the contrary, if Sata kicks the bucket today, that’s the end of the PF pipedream…
Bane Iam sori for wot l did
And you call this democracy? The people who dont pay tax choose a leader.
there is no democracy in Zambia? I will never cast my vote again. I mean what is the point?
Sata, too bad if you will lose. Just resign from active politics. I’ve resigned from Voting. Zambia is a one party state …PERIOD!!!
The hour is still alive abash micheal satana
i have been checking BBC and CNN for the last two days for news on our elections and there is ZERO coverage. We have so many YO BALLY zambians in ATLANTA and they cant even phone in and ask why there’s no news. Im going to write to BBC linoline.Bali tumpa!!! We are being robbed and they are quiet.Only african news is Congo.
F%&* this election. It seem there is nothing we can do about. The f&&* MMD have rigged again. We have put our selves at risk. The Investors are now leaving
BA KOSWE. ARE YOU EMBRACIN THE THIEVES? IS THERE ANYTHIN TO CELEBRATE ABOUT? BAKAMUSHI U WILL SUFFER UNDER CIMPHUNO
There’s NO way MMD is always going to claim they win only from the rural areas! Marubbish fiiii MMMMMDDD!
Please people….it is free and fair elections…DO NOT be sore LOSERS..If RB wins ..please accept defeat and move on..and leave PEACE in the Nation..
#75, ba fred.. mwala chula nomba. the problem is you got a 100kmph tongue and 50kmph brain. better get a ticket form zambian airways to katwishi. we gonna get you!
# 16. Waiyasa nondo muliso! Let sata learn democracy in his party, then he can lecture to us about the processes of a national election…he can’t preach the gospel with the left hand, and use the right hand to pass dirty money in form of bribes. Sata is never meant to be Zambian Presient. fate will continually prove that
lekeni sata ateke…. these elections have have been rigged chachine…. chi nyama soya…taukwete ne nsoni surely we muntu.how possible is it that tha residing officer of munali constituency, had ballot papers oredy marked with his nem rb. how dare you. you myt as well just be like your grandaughter.
I am supprised that you guys thought PF could win. You have so much “fake” as opposed to “faith”.
PF, HP and UPND lost the day they all lodged in their nominations. I bet if it was a 2 horse race, the opposition were going to win. You’ve got to win with a landslide margin to dislodge MMD. I tell you.
So all you guys swallow your pride and concede defeat. As for SATA, i have one word for him. RETIREMENT!
Twakula pyangafye kufyalo fyaba sungu! After all pa ZED life yalikosa. Same politicians and same parties …bwafya! Down presser man seems to be winning, and our country will fall!
kay # 8,
VJ is very innocent.Your advocacy of killing him might just turn out to be the call on Sata, Lubinda, Nsanda, GBM and yourself. You are very vulnerable than you think the internet hidding you.VJ is just a strategist who has trained many people to think. He has never been to any polling center not even the marubbish PF talk of him being in Luapula and northern province.I’m more closer to VJ and talk to him more than you would believe.During this election we have have been analysing things before and during the voting period taking on his Lusaka home landline in the Roman township Zamtel exchange. Had he he been out, i wouldn’t have been receiving or reaching his home line.
53 WALASA MUDALA. THATS THE POINT. HEY PF GUYS WE TOLD YOU ON VOTING DAY WHEN IT WAS REPORTED THAT APARTHY HAD CHACTERISED LSK AND CB. YOU REMEMBER ON THIS BLOG HOW WE CELEBRATED THAT PIPO HAD NOT TURNED OUT IN LARGE NUMBERS? BLAME YOUR VOTERS WHO DIDN’T VOTE
#74 YOU ARE RIGHT.KAPONYAS LETS GO ON BLOGGING.WHERE ARE YOU? A GRADE 4 CANT RULE MY DAUGHTER WHO IS IN GRADE 6,SHE IS MUCH MORE EDUCATED THAN SATA-N.
Any body herd from HH? he can confirm if theres rigging or not.HH join the MMD team may be you stand a better chance of being a vice president and later achieve your dream.you become more popular if you saved in the govt. of the day. If there was no tribe differences surely you should have been our president .
“i’m from eastern”
Membe Alala!.. Alala!
Membe Alala!….Alala!………eh eh eh……Alalaah!
Satas kaponya style outburst at Mulungushi is the kind of pres we saved ourselves from. i now beleive there is a god!
You all have to ask yourself one question: is Zambia going to be worse off if RB continues for another three years? I think the answer is NO! Will Zambia be worse off under Sata? There is possibility that we will be turned into another Zimbabwe! Remember he has already said that there will be no presidential election in 2011!!
Zambians, thank very much for voting MMD. I have been a diplomat for the past 12 years, thanks to MMD. I was so worried that we are we are losing. I dread the thought of coming back home. It just scares me. I am enjoying my life here, of course through Zambia tax payers money. My salary always comes from Zamiba on time, unlike those loser students in Russia. I also have a number of allowances like three cars, white people cleaning my house, 4 security guards, 2 druvers, 3 cell phones, 4 paid holidays, a 12 bedroom house, swimming pool, my own bank account with 1.3 million dollars, all my children are here with me, total 5 and receive free education, paid by Zed gov, total $70,000 per term.
#87 make it two words RETIREMENT PLEASE, and ba sata go for the review in south africa you missed.
Yebo number 16, Waiyasa nondo muliso! Let sata learn democracy in his party, then he can lecture to us about the processes of a national election…he can’t preach the gospel with the left hand, and use the right hand to pass dirty money in form of bribes. Sata is never meant to be Zambian Presient. fate will continually prove that. Leadership comes from God
nEXT TIME THERE ELECTIONS YOU SHOULD INPRISON ME PLEASE, I CAN’T HELP IT CAUSE THEY OFFER ME SO MUCH MONEY. NAKU ZIMBABWE THEY CALLED ME TO RIGG. AM THE MASTER MIND. HERE I WORKED EXTEREMLY HARD. FORGIVE ME ZAMBIANS. ELO BA RUPIAH HE’LL BE A SLEEPING PRESIDENT AND THATS THE PAINFULL PART ABOUT MY ASSISTANCE IN RIGGING. CATCH ME IN THE STATES I’LL BE ON HOLIDAY.
Lets NOT get emotional here, we all know the status quo pa zed.Wait until the final results are announced then you can complain, I really cannot understand what the fuss here, PF is leading but the lead is sliming coz MMD stronholds are coming in. We all know PF is a town mouse, very poor showing in rural except Northern and Luapula, but come on people Zambia has nine provinces. You cannot rely on LSK and CB then two rural provinces, If PF losese tough luck, go form a coalition with UPND as long the two leaders continue to selfish they will not dislodge MMD period.
Mwebantu kwana nangu tapasoswa 20 years with mmd, what are doing we need a change, too much of everything is bad. variate is the spice of life
I am supprised that you guys thought PF could win.
RETIREMENT.
Bachi dilibula filya cha ledilibula abanankwe ninshi chali ichimuntu nacho,he’s got a test of his own medicine for the 2nd time around ha ha ha ha,am going to drink a few beers,by the time i come back i should find him off the radar,at least we are better off with slow thinker(RB) than a clown with rotten teeth. You should see the international media’s reports saying he’s a fan of Mugabe so Zambia would have been labelled an enemy of decency if were to be ruled by him. LOL
The only reason I would come home, is to marry a new wife. I dont like my current wife, she looks too old for my status. I dont blame Banda for getting a sweetie young wife. By the way Banda will maintain my position, I am related to his wife and we run a company togeather (commercial farm).
IT ALL STARTS IN YOUR OWN YARD..IF YOU WERE NOT VOTED BY ANY ONE TO BE THE LEADER, HOW WOULD YOU EXPECT TO BE VOTED FOR SUCH A BIG POST?SATANA JUST RESIGN…..PANKOLOKOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I HATE TO DO THIS BUT HAVE TO DO IT! IN YOUR FACE THE PA BWATOOOOO, THE BOAT WON`T SAIL,NEXT TIME USE A TRUCK OR BUS MORE PRACTICAL CONSIDERING ZED IN LANDLOCKED. SORE LOSERS
The boat has sunk and Nalikwanda is afloat. Stop comfusing people when you lose the elections. You won in the CB and LSK and that was not rigging, nonsence.
By the way THE POST has nothing to appologise for. They will continue to haunt RB the same way they did LPM in the beginning. After all if Zambia is democracy then Mmembe is free to write what he wants.
And you ve got to be competitive in atleast 7 or more provinces.
my people of zambia. i must confess i am rigging these elections. this is only because i need enough money to send my two little twins to school. without a corrupt mind like mine, they will never be anything i will achieve in this life of mine. your vote doesnt count as long as vernon is alive.
HEY GUYS U REMEMBER HOW YESTADE SOME OVERZEALOUS PF CHARACTER IN THE DIASPORA WAS BOASTING THAT HE’S COMING BACK PA ZED TO TAKE UP SOME POST IN THE FOREIGN SERVICE, SOME ONE ELSE WAS ALSO SAYING THAT COME MONDAY HE’LL BE MOVING IN A PAJERO AND BODY GUARDS, WISHFUL THINKING. HEY IT WAS A DREAM, WAKE UP.. IT WAS A NICE DREAM
The difference between the number of votes received by RB and Sata is so small that there can be no shortage of conspiracy theories. The truth is that politicians have failed to capture the imagination of Zambians and many couldn’t care less about who is president (hence the apathy). One day the people will be fed up of all this nonsense but that may be after our country is brought to its knees. Revolution is impossible until it becomes inevitable.
Lon live MMD, we will rule for not less 50 years. Most of you PF will be dead by then, from heart attacks. Whoever causes trouble after the elections will be whipped by the army, inrespective of age or tribe.
Its simple to read a poor mind.If the elections were rigged then HH rigged them in Southern,Sata rigged vthem in Luapula and to balance it all RB rigged them in Eastern. So shut up and wait for the final results.Sata is only known for causing trouble without reason. He thinks to be called king cobra is good. Its evil to be named after a snake mr satan
Sata will never rule Zambia. It is just not his destiny;it was never meant to be.The opposition tried their best but it just wasn’t good enough. How many times is VJ,the self confessed drug dealer, going to retire and come back to this political monopoly that is MMD?What do these 70+ year old politicians like RB and MCS care about what happens to Zambia in the next, say, 20-30 years. They wouldnt care less because they simply won’t be around by that time.As for who is going to be the next ‘Moses’ in 2011, zambians should usher in a relatively younger leader who has no past connections with UNIP or MMD,not necessarily HH, but we’ll see how things pan out between now and then.
mr sata must accept defeat though i know its hard to after all those mammoth rallies. you should have made sure that your cadres had voters cards. the post also played a row in misleading.you concerated in areas that you were already popular. too bad but its over never meant to be president.
imwe katwish mu zambia
The parties were represented at all polling stations. The turnout in northern and Eastern were equally high.Sata rejected the use of electronics for election transmission and even calculators for adding, why then should he complain about delay. Last nite all the parties were called by the Returning Officer (Chief Justice) to show evidence of rigging so that they can stop the counting and Sata said all was well. what has changed? “Shimalila talangwa kumulomo” literally translated “dont look at the mouth of the mourner”
WTTH RB IN POWER ZAMBIA WILL GO TO THE DOGS EVEN THE MONKEYS, TWACHULA TWANYA
The choice between Sata and RB is leaving me in a dillemma. Choosing between two evils. It’s hard for me to accept that either can become the president. But thanks be to God the Almighty that the next term is 3 years. Note that I am not saying ONLY because 3 years is long enough to destroy a country.
Reasons – Sata is a hooligan.
RB is a puppet surrounded by evil characters i.e. FTJ, VJ, add on you all know them.
Imwe bantu RB is a qualified economist just be vigilant and hold him to his promises. the President is only as good as his people. Why is Mugabe bad because people have allowed it! why havent we risen against MMD because some people love them so they are not all that bad. Why did we rise against KK ? It was too much! so dont force everyone to think ‘yaba! its too much mwe!’
haha zambians, ukukwangala 20yrs with MMD,is not so easy it’s time to change takwaba over ,over viva Sata, nangu bayamba ukukwibila.
According to my sources, from OP its final, Banda has won by 28,000 votes. Amen. I am keeping my diplomatic position. Thank you Zambians again. stop by my house if you visit USA. I will look after you, just like how you have looked after me for the past 12 years.
haaaaaaaaaa……..haaaaaaaaaaaaa…….satana. you lost you daga smoker.
I cannot understand why results, which for the first time are being counted at polling stations, should take more than 48 hours to be announced in certain places. Are these places so remote that it takes more than a day for the presiding officers to get to the provincial centres or its VJ’s way of exciting the opposition before pulling the rug from under their feet?
Remember the same strategy was deployed in Zimbabwe, and who was there to help? VJ!
Sata you are a dog. You almost took the day. I will never forgive you. This election caused as a lot of money. Next time, please have a heart for others.
#100 you got the point right, imagine the numbers for UPND and PF combined this game could have been over a long time.Rigging come on guys PF is town based and they have got the votes to show that.MMD is rural zed and now we are seeing the votes from the rural parts of zed.UPND have got the votes where they are popular the south.Anyways we only have three years to go plan well now and MMD will be out but as long as we continue to think that i can win it alone we will always divide the votes and they will always win.Come together PF and UPND full stop…
TYPICAL SATA NO FACTS. THESE HAVE BEEN WELL RUN ELECTIONS. SATA IS A BAD LOOSER. WE WILL SEE WHERE HE WILL GO NOW. HE CAN ALWAYS WORK AS CHIEF CORDINATOR OF INSAKA’s IN NORTHERN PROVINCE.
WHY TARGET THE EAT SATA HAS LOST MESERABLY IN SOUTHERN, WESTERN, NOPRTH WESTERN AND CENTRAL. HIS POPULARITY WAS A MMBE MANUFACTURED PENOMENON.

“A president is only as good as his people”.
What a timeless piece of wisdom. I have always thought so but could not find better words to say so.
Thanks man(woman), whatever case may be!!!

WE HAVE WON THE RACE AND INNAUGURATION OF RB IS TOMORROW SUDAY NOVEMBER 02,2008 AT 10:00AM
,its realy sad that rural chaps can suffer at the expense of the chiefs.ask a worker from the urban area,hw i wish u were in zambia and feeling the pain we go thru, even the mines in slowezi,hw many chaps in northwestern are woking there, most of them are casual workers,we have electricity probs,we rarely have power in lusaka.becoz of the same probs pipo in urban areas wanted to try some one else other than mmd, besides that anyway mmd wud have done better, than fielding rb whos been selected by like 600,00 pipo out of 11 million zambians
That was what we anticipated. Congrates to RB. Ba Sata bashala mulukungu, just accept that fyaba nabene.
HEY LET ME NOW DO WHAT I CAME HERE FOR,TUJOBEKO FIRST SO THAT I GRADUATE WITH A DISTINCTION, AT LEAST I AM ASSURED THAT I WILL COMPLETE MY COURSE WITH RB IN OFFICE, OTHERWISE WITH THE OUTBURSTS FROM SATA AND HIS TAIWAN CONNECTIONS ALL ZAMBIANS COULD HAVE BEEN DEPORTED OUT OF CHINA HAD THE SNAKE WON.. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN SAD TO BE DEPORTED WHEN YOU ARE JUST REMAINING WITH 6 MONTHS TO GRADUATE. THANK YOU ZAMBIANS
Where is Maestro HeHeHe Chief internet campaign strategist for Up and Down (UPND_. HH’s political career just got its final nail in the coffin. What’s his comment?
Sata, Sorry Boss!! You have just lost clean game! Go back to the drawing board and carry out a postmoterm. Geee!! Your sponsors are now ghashing thir teeth for having ponsored a wrong chap. It looks like State House is not for yu mudaala!!

the boat has failed again to reach the shores. free advice to sata he must retire from politics. RBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB vivaaaaaaaaaa
Let Sata tell us how the rigging is done since he has done it before to the late Mazoka. He just used to hear that rigging exists now it happen to him. VJ is a man, i thing before he dies with the talent, someone should take over from him. The problem with Sata is that he never asked vj how this is done. If he new he would have disclosed.
Too bad for Sata his hopes for plot 1 have now come to an end.

A population of 13 Million plus people, 700,000 people decide a leader. Bwafya pa Zambia. ????????. Something should be done
it’over my brother. banda won. think twice kaponyas. this is the result of running a party on tribal lines. we knew the boat will be stuck in mud. it all happened.so think twice again for the comming elections in 2011.
God save us, if it is true that there were malpractices in this election let the Lord reveal. What happened to the man in Munali who was caught with MMD stuffed ballot papers as was reported in the post and on the blog. Only God can save us if indeed there were malpractices Christians need to be in prayer otherwise if the malpractices were true, the devil will always still the blessings of Zambians any time he feels the standard of living for Zambians will change. We wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers in the heavenly realms but thank God for Jesus who has already disarmed all the principalities and powers and we are seated with him in the heavens.
it is over..Pf is dead and burried with simple majority win
BA RB ba using napkins muma trousers ka? Kaya ni ba president ba shani. I wish him short live in state death should stuck on him as he gets into state house next week
I saw no reason sata wasting time insulting HH. When in fact he should be advising the young man how to win the elections. we knew HH will not be a factor in these elections.there is no need to choose another leader in pf just join with HH. PF and UPND will taste the power.kaponyas
To SATA and HH, we told you to work together. You never listened beacuse you are both naive and power angry.
Sata and HH, these are self inflicted political wounds. Count your losses as you lick your wounds.
You too naive politicians should have won by 60%.
Anyhow thanks Mr King Cobra and HH for contributing to our democracy.
155, that’s another way of looking at it lol and I hope we can now move on and face reality instead of asking for re-counts based on imaginary or engineered rules only aimed at making a mockery of our young democracy. We still have hope for Zambia.
it is over sata!!!!!!!!!!.
YABA!TWACHULA IMWE.LESA TWAFWENI
Shut the F8ck op Sata. Learn to be good loser.
The years are against sata.so join hands with HH. Remember HH has nothing to lose. he is rich. sata has alot of debt from the people he hired the chopper.
Good you kaponyas you used fred to cheat the people about sata’s popularity. you thugs.
And it was only yesterday when this same Sata was telling RB not only to concede defeat but also to hand over power to him. And today??? Yeah, good for you Sata. Go learn democracy (I mean elections) within PF first before you come to expose your rotten teeth singing about rigging. And it looks like some of the bloggers who were posting the ‘pabwato’ nonsense here were also ‘hired’ and have sunk with the boat. Now we can rest be assured that we share never have a dictator like you Sata in state house. It is a Tsunami for you and your kaponyas!!!
Ifa, lelo nimalilo! Pabwatooo has sunk. my condolences to all PF (poor Finishers) kaponyas! Think twice, Kaponyas cant rule Zambia. Die hard with your dreams!!
No one will take away Sata’s victory.
Viva Sata
Pabwatoooooooooooooooooo!
Sata 4 presido
Sata 4 state house
Sata 4 Zambia
We don’t want a sleepy presido who will only wake up when all of us have been privatised.Long live Sata.
STOP CRYING BABY WOLF!
SATA HAS ALWAYS SAID EASTERNERS HAVE UNIP POT HOLES IN THEIR HEADS, SURELY HE SHOULD BE LAST TO SEEK THEIR SOLACE.
NORTHWESTERNERS…ARE BASIX KOLOKO?
THE ONLY DEVELOPMENT YOU EARMARKED FOR WESTERN PROVINCE ARE TOILETS…BEACAUSE MWANAWASA DID NOT PROVIDE FOR THEM!
PLEASE CALL OFF THE BLUFF OLD BALLY WHRE IS EVERYBODY ELSE WHILE YOU ARE DOING ALL THESE BUMP DANCES?
ELECTIONS ARE ABOUT LOSERS AND WINNERS, ONE OF THE TWO, GO AND HAVE A CONVENTION MAN YOUR TIME IS UP
NOW IS TIME TO WORK, ELECTION CIRCUS IS OVER TAH1
haaaaaaaa……. haaaaaaaaa…….sata lost. good today I will not slep because these kaponyas made alot of noise.
The Rattled Snake with its red eyes has been politically killed. Its mouth has been left with useless venon flouthing.Democracy can only be enhanced and president on by Democracy. The Democratic peace theory say “Democracy does fight democracy” Sata and M’membe are anarchists who rose to destroy democracy with their narrow interest.Henceforth will take M’membe head on as a political opponent. He should prepare for rivalry in the private media from alternatives. All incentives he unfairly enjoyed in a competitive market from GRZ is abash.
About two weeks ago, I mentioned that Sata will lose these elections. Why? Rural people value Fertliser more than tax relief. Apparently, most of them don’t pay tax for reasons of low income or sheer poor ZRA administration. Most rural people have no income to talk about. Therefore to see Sata’s face being paraded on a vehicle with “low tax, more money in the pockets” was an insult! RB is a genious! He reduced the price of fertiliser from +K200 000 to K50 000!!! That was a winner!
Learn a lesson: Miners and Lusakites will not choose a leader even if they band up in millions. Worse if the spoilers like HH and GM are around. Rural Zambia is our SAVIOR. Diplomats must thank the villagers.
haaaaaa….. rotten teeth lost. He can not even brush his teeth before going to his rallies to acompaned by kaponyas.wakeup.
FutureZed a question. What does lol mean?
So long VJ is around we shall never see free and fair elections in the country.
Waht has happened? Pabwato bloggers have also sunk!!
What do you expect from greedy politicians? 2006 if sata and hh had merged victory would have been theirs. They did not learn a lesson. By-Elections if they had emerged victory was gonna be theirs. I do not see hh or sata rule as @ any time. My advise for U magwam sata is retire and take care of your health so that you can see your grand children and their children, as for you hh pliz relocate and concentrate on your carrier else where. RB YOU ARE THE MAN! I AGREE WITH YOUR PLAN TO BRING IN TILYENJI, NJENKWA ETC INTO GOVT. BYE TETA, MBITA, MULONGOTI ETC. CHILUBA REVIEWED TUNNEL TO WIN POPULARITY, MWANAWASA REVIEWED CORRUPTION AND NOW RB…. WELL ICANT WAIT TO HEAR YOUR MSG INORDER TO GAIN PP
ECZ AND YOUR SYSTEM–YOU HAVE FORCED A PRESIDENT ON US,WE DO NOT NEED RB FOR ZAMBIA AT LEAST MAGANDE WAS GOING TO BE BETTER.
RB HAD NO PROGRAMME UNLESS IT STARTS NOW.
IN THIS VIEW BRING IN A GOOD SYSTEM TO ENABLE ANYONE TO VOTE ANYWHERE AS LONG AS HE OR SHE HAS A VOTERS CARD.
IF ANY ONE HAS RIGGED-REMEMBER OUR GOD IS NOT ASLEEP–YOU WILL SEE
Viva rural Zambia! Viva! Viva Unzasu Leaders, Viva! Viva to all the Chiefs in 9 provinces, viva!! Viva keeping investers, viva! Viva to cheap fuel, viva! viva, cheap farming implements, viva!
Okay, that’s it! There’s no winner. None vanguished, except the snake is banished to a small hole FOREVER. Zambians, lets move on. Keep HH. He is worthy keeping. If I was Banda I would appoint HH in my cabinet.
In a Tight race like this …the Void balots papers will need to be closly loked at indeed now to determin how void they are …note that most of the voids came from PF’s strong holds
I can now look for ubunga, cook, ubwali and smile. The cobra is slowly dying. Zambia is very educated, and we need educated people on the platform. Those kaponyas ran away from Jelita and Mulenga classes, now they think they can rule and revive our economy panse Ba Missed Calls!! We look now for a vibrant leader in 2 years to come. Let the sleeping cobra go to the dentist and also maybe to S. Africa for heart check up!! Imagine a constable to be the president!!!
bane the only way to change gov is for the oppisition to join forces period. but because everyone wants to be president its chaos.

#182. There was no rigging. Don’t buy stories from Sata. Can’t you see that he even accused international observers of being bias. Will you buy that too? Well, this is Sata speaking. Did all the foreign reporters act unfairly? Imagine how arrogant and Sata is! Storming into an office instituted by the Laws of Zambia with the Justice seated there. Imagine the stubbornness! This is a mad man. Please take a breath, you’ll thank the people of Zambia for their choice.
This is democracy. Don’t belittle those who win. The rigging story is useless. For me, I only surmise that Mr Sata had attempted to rig elections before and he knows the tricks..he is haunted by the evil past.

Never dispise your origins. You are who you are, what you what you are because of where you come from. ‘Umushi libwelelo’ in one way or another. As much as you may not vote today, you can develope Mother Zambia by positive thinking and positive contribution. Lesa amipale no lupwa lwenu, engapala ne calo cesu even in the present situtation.
i think pa zed we r not ready for democracy. pipo don’t value stuff that to dem comes free of charge that which is paid for not. we value our independence coz pipo paid wit their lives, and we’ll do anything to defend it coz we ve testmony of how much we had suffered it get. as for democracy, think its a myth until someone pays and the way i see it, its time pa zed pipo started thinking wther we are serious abt democracy. some pipo ‘ll do anything just to remain in grz to dem wat matters is they ve a job, they don’t give a damm abt the welfare of the masses, as long as they re comfortable, but that time is far spent. the judicially re also to blem coz they re not pro active, they re so
Mmbe’s post is a threat to Zambia peace and love for each other. The Post promotes hatred amongst tribes. it promotes Bemba superiority. it pretends to be hammering tribalism, but by highlighting overblown situation instead funs hatred and hate amongst tribes.
it is time the post is relegated to just a mouth piece of Bemba tribalist like Sata.
God is the one who gives us leaders but these people are imposing themselves on us causing so much pain and suffering on us the innocent children of God. Our God believe me fellow bloggers is great and will continue striking them with death. meantime we are geared 4 chaos! PABWATO……!
HH + Sata’s votes = 1 100 000!!! That is democracy! There was poor judgement from these two guys. They misled 1.1 million voters and spoiled their votes. They are guilty! Stone them! guilty! RB would have conceded defeat by yesterday had these guys come together just to grab power in the last 2 years. Then compete on different tickets in 2011. They just couldn’t agree.
Sata stormed out of that meeting which was attended by KK. It is on record that Mr Sata is a very sick man! HH would have compromised, but Mr Sata stormed out. Does that ring a bell? You can see what the man is capable of.
#178 #192 lol means Laugh Out Loud….Basically, laughing.
the judges re so defensive of their jobs, these busturds ve no morals! wat happened judges like kabazo chanda!

Why is the toothless cobra spitting that the elections have been rigged? When he was leading, he was busy smoking a cigar. We don’t want kaponya language in schools. We Zedians will always go for the lesser evil. How can a democratic snake become a president when he never held any convention in his party and he kept on sucking all those mps who tried to reason with him? I am sure Ama Chinese will now introduce free kungfu classes to all the women and innocent zedians!!

mubobo # 195,
Those are men of valor and true patriot who saw the danger of entrusting this nation to an illiterate, hatiful and manipulative Sata.I will petition RB to bring them on board.Exactly 44 years after independence, you don’t need some who is an educated to preside over a country in complex times.RB is a Qualified Economist, Business Executive and Zambian’s tested Top Diplomat world leaders will easily convesrse with instead of taking insults on the international stage. We need someone who can see through the mind of Economic hitmen.Zambia will not eat insults.
#208, Thanks for that…
All you bitter guys need to see this as just a continued LPM term. Look to the next elections. TILL THEN!! PEACE!!!!
Tick tock, tick tock… The hour comes round every 60 minutes. The boat can’t sail on dry land. MMD iwina pa last minute!

Quite frankly, the rate at which we are going in Zed, we will end up being led by a DOG. Honestly, where has RB been since 1991?What advancements can he bring to our country. This is the second time that Zambians are voting for someone who was initially woken up from deep slumber. The choices we make will surely come back to haunt us.
Well done HH. You have locked out Sata again from the South.
I will continue asking and pressing on, where is Munkoyo mwe bantu, twapapata atwebeko ifishinka??
back to mulongoti and mpombo politicks. or now it will be wako ni wako from family tree? good luck zambia. fellow zambians refrain from riots it’s not worth anybody’s blood. letus just wait for the promises to be fullfilled.

Nomba imwe mwalekesha Sata and H.H. umopa aba ngalimilubula, nomba hooooooo! tuka mona fertilizer mwapoke ngaikakonkanypo. Like dis tamwakakule bamambala, kumushi!
I have to confess. I am the biggest apathetic voter. I haven’t voted since the 80s. And surprise! I voted for one Michael Chilufya Sata in Kabwata! He has not paid me back yet so I can’t spend my vote.
It unfortunate that ba Sata has to tire-down the inaguration speech.
last nite he was dreaming announcing cabnet appointment. When he woke up this morning reality stroke!
That is life… we all have dreams…and when you’re 70, you realise that I can only do this much.
When Sata was winning in CB and Lusaka etc, there was no rigging
but now that he is losing there is rigging. Lets be realistic as
Zambians, even the poor villagers’ votes do count. These elections
have been free and fair, the winner takes it all.

The award for best life long opposition leader who would have been president goes to……?????? Mr Motor Cycle
#231, honestly cant you see that we need some one fresh , not the candidates from this group this time around? none of the four are presidential material. But what do we do in the mean time? they say “a lion sometimes can eat green grass when there is no meat” its a saying somewhere I can remember….
HEY DID YOU KNOW THAT THE VAST MAJORITY OF PEOPLE AT THE RALLIES WERE EITHER CHILDREN, UNEMPLOYED PEOPLE OR HOMELESS AND HUNGRY. FREE FOOD AND CLOTH ALWAYS ATTRACTIVE. OTHERS WENT TO WATCH THE CHOPPERS AND THE EXPENSIVE 4X4s IN CONVOYS. LEARN A LESSON FROM THIS. USE DOOR TO DOOR CAMPAIGNING (VJ STYLE) IT IS MORE EFFECTIVE.
People in rural areas bali nanzelu kuchila bankala mu town. Look at the way they vote!!

Chalu chinzuna ichi bati?
stop mentioning HH KAPONYAS.
How voters were registered for the Elections? The other day I might have heard that roughly around 1.6 Million people registered. Do those figures matcvh up with the actual number of votes cast? So from the totals we have been given it’s well over 1.7 Million votes is it why Teta is confident of around 60,000 win margin?
wot up its the King i hop ya all going to some in area coz im planning to do a colabo in ya counrty n i dont really dont wanna get stuck in cheap politics.

its final, chaps from rural areas have employed,rb,teta, saki, ben mwila,vj,nawakwi, christon, siwulapwa, nevers mumba, and the rest, are these the learders we need in zambia,no commrades we can do better than having rb in power, its painfull for aperson like me coz am gonna feel the effects of the economy.there’s tension in lsk rite nw.
HH great spoiler – “Amu ndipe bola ba Sata ba la yuma beam”.
Its time for snake and others to go to live in the rural areas. You know those Missed calls “Kaponyas” are lazy and they don’t even know what rural hardship mean. Zambia is not only about towns. What did the cobra promise on agriculture inputs? The most intelligent people are in rural areas. Most Zambians in towns are mixed blood not pure Zambians. Half-Nigerian, Half Zambian, Half- Congolese, half Zambian, half Zimbabwean, Half Zambian, Half Senegalese, Half Zambian, including half mwenyes!! But many pure Zambians are in rural, that is why they voted wisely!!
Koma mwahita bwino kusankha mukulu mphuno. A Sata asadandaule pankhani ya nkhongole, tizayesa kuthandiza kubweza. eeee RB mwazina yake BWEZANI

MMD GUYS YOU’LL REGRET THE CHOICE YOU’VE MADE BELIEVE ME. I DON’T MEAN TO CURSE BUT ITS JUST PLAIN TRUTH. GUYS I’LL REMIND YOU OF WHAT AM SAYING ON THIS SAME FORUM.
AND I’LL BE THERE TO LAUGH!! OH YES LAUGH AND I’LL LAUGH VERY HARD AND ALL Y’ALL MMD PEOPLE. HH OR SATA ARE THE BEST PEOPLE TO LEAD ZAMBIA.
SALARIES FOR MINISTERS WILL INCREASE NEXT WEEK AND UNZA WILL CLOSE IN THE FIRST WEEK OF DECEMBER.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!
The boat started sinking when GBM jumped in, his too heavy….too much baggage

Sata waona manje wayamba kulila. The crowds you attracted across the country decieved you. The Post decieved you. You pulled out of the alliance with UPND because you were over confident. If only..(sure) you had formed an alliance with UPND, you could have been president.Dont be too hungry for power.Unfortunately this was your last HOPE. Rest in PEACE.
HH great spoiler – “Amu ndipe bola ba Sata ba la yuma beam”_
if you know that the elections were rigged, dont dare get into office!!! Cheating is a sin, and whatever you try to do wont prosper!!!
No tension Pliz why did sata wait until he had lost before saying there was rigging? its because he was leading! now that he is not leading rigging comes in? let him justify not just shouting. anyone can say what he is saying. thats why even people abroad claim rigging when they are not in Zambia.
I propose college votes in our next constitution. There is noway, rural people who don’t pay tax, don’t understand issues can be deciding for us
Mr.Sata go home it is over,Mr.HH you go home too you gave the election away you both are to retire and leave the seats to others.God nite and happy retirement.
WHAT NEXT FOR SATA AND PF FOLLOWERS?
LPM once said and i quote “Do you honestly think Mr sata can be president of this country..LOL..”
u chaps abroad, can u shut up,becoz u dnt contribute anything to this country and u did nt vote,if war broke up u wont be there to defend, its us who will sufer.keep yo comments our there ku fyalo were u treated like scrap,u dnt knw our hardships,
just remembering…all that Tonga vs Bemba hegemony…what has it come to ha! now people are back to their senses lets talk….one Zambia one Nation!
The Problem with Sata just like most people abroad they read the Post too much. Sata read that paper everyday and started believing the lies that he was winning. Voters and people can see beyond the post. The MMD did and chose their own candidate who is not going to write off debts for companies in which Fred has a stake.
I was walking along bwinjimfumu road at 1700hrs today and saw a lot of mmd cadres dancing at their campaign centre. What that means i dont know . May be its signalling their victory. Yaba pf and satamania is now the late. Its over over. This should be lesson enough to both sata and POST that no amount of negative reports would change people decision.
VJ rejoice invite all yr friends to your house celebrate the opposition gave the election away to MMD
The boat has indeed sunk, in it – a king cobra, head crushed. The cobra is dead, long live the cobra. Democracy has survived.
WELCOME TO THE ONE PARTY STATE OF MMD.
Post News paper is the only paper one has to pay to read on the net. Lets face facts, if Sata was to win the elections, how was he to rule with the majority in opposition? How was he going to change policies that have been going on for at least two terms? How was he going to single handedly clean the mess in the government with the minority? I would advise the opposition next time to team up and make one in order to win. Secondly, PF, was never popular in the rural areas, just as the post does not so much report on rural areas. They wasted their space and time criticising akulu mphuno!!!Wake up guys!!
#241 YES BOSS–I KNOW THE PLACES
sata will never be a president of zambia. the blood of nkumbula, paul tembo, kaunda, penza etc is on his head together with ka chiluba.
whether sata wins, HH, RB or Miyanda, I dont think I ‘m gonna feel the impact. But come 2011, MMD should beat it!!! Whats the point of having so many parties when all the people that become president are from MMD? Its high time we changed! Am pretty sure if I also joined MMD today, I ‘d be chosen president, even though I dont know much about politics. blyat suchka!!!!
Fromn now onwards I have STOPPED rendering any sort of financial help to my pipo in the village. They seem not to understand that even the little that I manage to sent them is so VERY HARD earned due to much of my pay going to Mwadya Mweka Daddy through the HIGH tax Im charged EVERY month.
I am so upset cuz I was thinking my vote would make me choose someone tht was going to at least do me justice by reduce the EVIL tax I am being charged. BUT, thanks to our village counterparts, I still have to LIVE with the HIGH taxes. Goooosh!
NO MORE FINANCIAL AID TO THE VILLAGE; bazazitandiza na vitenge na fertilizer from RBB from now on. Maybe they will come to learn what it means to be under MMD.
Before i forget the inauguration is tomorrow at 10am (Zed time) my mistake on the last posting all are invited.
#157 M Obama: how many votes decided the US elections in 2004? I think you don’t deserve that name. check other countries and you will find that it is normal in a competive democracy to win even by 1 vote especially in a simple majority
I SAID IT, ON THOSE “MAMMOTH RALLIES” YOU COULD HARDLY SEE WOMAN. MAY BE LADIES DON’T VOTE
Totals (144/150 Constituencies)
PF 679,082 39%
MMD 688,190 40%
UPND 323,409 19%
HP 12,640 1%
Void 21,725 1%
Percentage of results verified: 95%
This is really good, to see Sata lose the elections again. We will now see what the POST will do. By the way, Isaac Chisuzi assured Zambians that peace will prevail and that they had the mandate to ensure that we continued to enjoy peace. VIVA RB!!!!
#291 I’m bringing the yeyo
The elections could have been rigged basing on the facts on the ground, Mulwita at civic centre for exmple, cases being investigate at Masaiti and Mpongwe police stations to name but a few. Each and every vote should be verified in all provinces. The opposition and other stakeholders should first start with the spoiled ballot papers and make sure that this was not done in bad faith just to favour an individual candidate.
Mr Sata, you are too aggressive and tend to throw away support. How do you expect to win elections quarelling with your MP’s and Counselors who are supposed to be your campaign agents?
You are too much of a self centered person and often underate others.Politics are based on persuation and numbers. Some of your statements during camapaigns where unrealistic and scaring. It’s too late, if you were a young man i would have advised you to change your campaign strategies for future elections. HARD LUCK COBRA
Im happy that MMD has taking the lead this is good news very, very, very good new
sata you deceive to lose ulimulwele just order yourself a coffin you are bout to kick the bucket backwards who knows!! just kick it im tired of you sata
HH great spoiler – “Amu ndipe bola ba Sata ba la yuma beam”…
And so again! The villagers have given us a president?????? But zoona, we are poor. Just ka fertilizer makes us lose our rights to decide. Our people should be taught about how to vote also how can Void beat HP like that? I hope the so called void were not meant for Sata! Another rigging gimmick!!!!!! Now we have a sugar daddy in State House, yaba abena Zambia zoonaaaaaaaaaa!!!
PF HAD ITS BEST PERFORMANCE AFTER LOSING ELECTIONS 3 TIMES.SATA SHOULDNT HAVE WALKED OUT OFF THOSE NEGOTIATIONS WITH HH.HE NEEDED THE VOTES IN SOUTHERN PROVINCE TO WIN BECAUSE THOSE WERE GURANTEED VOTES FOR HH.SOUTHERN PROVINCE STOPED VOTING FOR MMD IN 1996
#307 fat boys need love too.
HH great spoiler – “Amu ndipe bola ba Sata ba la yuma beam”
The post deceived sata. I remember reading something like satamania in southern and western province, wamona Fred Mmembe(The post) ubufi bulaya nokubwela. Fred Mmembe and your reporters mwalikusha Sata umutwe. Filya tabachita.
SATA NEEDS HH TO WIN ELECTIONS AGAINST MMD,THE POST SHOULD NOT LIE TO HIM,HH AND SATA NEED EACH OTHER.LET THEM START WORKING TOGETHER NOW.SATA WILL NEVER BE PRESIDENT WITHOUT HH

I just pulled out my calculator, the Total number of voters registered were 3,643,628. The number of Voters who cast there vote was 1,670, 709.
At 1500 today results from 137 constituencies the total number of voters plus the spoilt ballots or rejected (Void) was 1,670,709, Can the number go higher?
If 2,200,000 million ballot papers were printed, and 600,000 suplus were on earth is RB getting voters from?
v
As for you M’embe, I’m one of the people who have respected your newspaper over the years. However, your targeting of RB in preference to Sata made you lose focus. Your misinformation made the campaigns difficult to follow. Please in future, dont put your personal interests ahead of public interests. I would have voted for Sata but because of your biased publicity against RB, I changed my mind and voted for RB just to prove that you are just a newspaper to inform the public and not to influence them to vote for your preferred candidate. To say the least, you did not only embarass but journalist fraternity in Zambia. No wonder your preferred candidate has miserably lost. SHAME.
MAN utd 3 HULL 1! Celebration time pazed. Collins Mbesumaaaaaaaaaaaa!
mmd victory will be enjoyed by them and thier children outside zambia.for the rural dwelers,u wont see helicopters till 2011,never to vote again, never again, first lady is my agement married to some wrinkled chaps called nyama soya sorrounded by thieves
sata show us eveidence there was rigging ba mudala you just did not dogroundwork esp in rural areas goes to show you neva learnt a lesson in 2006 to intesnfy campgins in rural areas. hey but dont cry yet the results are still trickling in.
RB, please forgive the Post for they did not know what they were doing.
THE POST WAS ONLY EFFECTIVE IN LUSAKA ,BECAUSE THEY STOPPED COVERING HHS MAMOTH RALLIES,AND INSTEAD THEY DEDICATED THEIR PAPER TO ZAMBIANS ABOUT SATAS POPULARITY WHICH IS NOT REFLECTED IN RESULTS FROM WESTERN,PART OF CENTRAL,NORTH WESTERN AND SOUTHERN
I have to agree with Sata this time. It is inconceivable that areas that have only 5000 votes take two days to count and those that have over 20000 are counted in a few hours. Democracy is dead in Zambia. However Sata and HH made it much easier for MMD to alter the results by not going into a pact. This is possibly the end of King Cobra. We usher in a worse breed of plunderers in RB and his sick cartel.
MMD guys truly know how to rigg no doubt about it, but its quiet sad that we r going to have such corrupt pipo ruling our country, the likes of VJ….God help our nation

Back to Basics I suggest that political parties once there candidate fails to win elections they should look for someone else to stand on there ticket or give them a not more than 2 tryies. Sata has had 3 they should look else where for leadership (PF that is) the same with UPND you can not just be putting forward the same chaps and say there is democracy in the country and the parties.
We can not as a nation be short of leaders if i was of edge i would be putting my name forward and so would a lot of people on this blog. We all have something to offer but no opportunities especially that people want to stand on party tickets until they are in there death Bed ???
Why can’t sata accept defeat gracefully? When he thought he was leading, he didn’t cry foul. now that he is clearly losing he wants to point fingers. its a no-win situation with this kaponya
This is a great day pontiac or pontif or whatever his name has gone to hung himself.
“Pride comes before a fall”
“He who laughs last laughs best.”
finally signing out – Good bye guys. please have elections in PF first before you ask the country to vote for you.
MAnU THe real Champions.
are these results real or am I dreaming
#246 Thanks for that…
It is not possible to have more than 21K spoiled ballot papers. You will find that the spoiled ballot papers were in favour of the opposition and not RB. This is where the rigging orignates. Can somebody prove me wrong?
results for chisamba are up to nw not yet in why?pa chisamba pepi sana. hw come results 4 mwandi and kaputa hav been received?
Anyone that celebrate MMD victory is either corrupt or does not pay tax HEAVILY the way most of us Zedians on the ground do. MMd victory just spell out increased Tax(reduced income for average person like myself), increased salaries for constitutional office holders(MMD), more and M O R E corruption.
Maiweeeeeeeeeeee. How can we allow these people to continue to subject us to their cruelty, Teta, Mulongoti, VJ, Chital, C H L U B A, Nevers, Cosmo, Nawakwi etc. God Help us.
I would have settled for HH or Sata.
Amazing what fertilizer sugar and chitenge can get you into mwe! Maybe I should just find means to leave this country to one where my services will be more appreciated.

Batata Ba Sata you asked RB to accept defeat, please do the same
opposition should just accept defeat…
The election is too close to call, zambians deserve a run off between sata and RB for the sake of peace and stability.
RB can’t claim a majority endorse from zambians…Do not object becoz of money or constitutional legality..we deserve a free and fair elections in zambia…
It is clear whats zambians want but MMD during the night cooked the polls to favor RB…

SHANGOMBO IS NOT A CLUSTER OF RAMSHACKLES HOUSING 10,000 PEOPLE WITHIN THE RADIUS OF 3 SQUARE KM LIKE CHIPATA COMPOUND.
THATS WHY PF AND HH MISSED IT BECAUSE TO START WITH THEY DO NOT KNOW THE RADII,TERRAIN,PEOPLE DISTRIBUTION ETC.
LET PF GO FOR A CONVENTION. IT WAS GOING TO BE AN INSULT TO WISE SHANGOMBA RESIDENTS TO HAVE SATA IN PLOT ONE. FOR THE PAST 9 YEARS WHO ELECTED HIM AS PF PRESIDNT. YOU TOWN DWELLERS ARE A DISGRACE

#349, what has MMD done for the non-taxpaying people of Shangombo? Nothing at all!!
Sata and HH are dull leaders they should have learned from the past election. Zambians relax go home and sleep suckers.
A RUN OFF IS NEEDED there is a reason why we have a simple majority
Hamilton for pole in Brazil to stop all your vudo tricks
Chelsea still 5 up

ok Hamilton in top five who cares it will still mean he has won but the boy wont settle for second best.
The Southern African Development Community (SADC) has declared Zambia’s elections transparent and free as main opposition leader Michael Sata maintains a slight lead over acting President Rupiah Banda. Leader of the SADC’s electoral observer mission to Zambia, John Kanene, says the presidential elections were well managed and conducted in a credible, peaceful way. SABC News
Man u to little hull they will papusha you
People of Shangombo decide where this election goes and yet they have no idea what drives the economy or what are good or bad economic policies. They have made us suffer for the past 2 years
#347 Shangombo people do pay their taxes they pay consumer taxes daily. You are a sucker
#342, kaponya!! firstly maybe if you write in nyanja or lozi i may get your point. your english is too basic for me.
secondly, you being a sata sympathiser only proves why he thinks elections were rigged. you are one of those who assume zambia is 3 provinces- lusaka, CB, luapula. you should have advised your man to campaign in the whole country and not just stick to his strongholds.
#350, has SADC issued a statement over those ballot boxes with marked paper found in possession of that guy in Munali?? I guess not, those SADC chaps do not want to get into conflict with Zambia, so the only ting they do is declare the election free and fair
Mr Sata and PF, please do to give up yet. At the moment, the is only vote difference of 9,108 but meanwhile, you have 21K spoiled ballot papers which have not yet been verified.
Uyo Kanene is saying “Fre, Fair and Peacefull” when he has not even consulted the local observers and major stakeholders in these elections, people that have been on the ground all this time. Atamingila chani (brown envelop yamugwila naye).
Final results are not evenb yet issued but he issues a statement, what a tourist in the name of “election (or is it erection) observer!
@307 – what do you mean rural dwellers should be taught how to vote? They DID vote, unlike their urban counterparts, who sang, danced, drank, but didn’t vote. They voted in their best interests, as it is their constitutional right to do. Why are people complaining as if rural dwellers owe YOU their votes? If you wanted Sata, you should have registered and voted yourselves, and exercised your OWN votes. Non-voting PF supporters only have themselves to blame.
The people that sweat and drive this economy are the ones that pay the most taxes i.e. the middle working class Zambian, the small businessman. They are the ones that have rejected RB, BUT in the end it is Shangombo that has the final say
l have been looking for good news all day l cant seem to get it anywhere! RB winning ,Areseral losing at Stoke, Obama dealing with issue of his aunt who is living illegally in america and has contributed to his campaign which is illegal.l cant wait for the day to end
I mean # 352 Canadian u are a sucker
WHY CANT MY POSTINGS GET THRU????????????
Number 315 (TJ)the ECZ did not print less ballot papers than the registered voters. Where did you get the 2.2 million ballot papers printed from? 1.67 million voters is about half of the number of registered voters (3.6 million). I do not see where your confusion is. The 600 000 ballot papers were in excess of the number of registered voters and were not used. MMD just sensitised their members on the importance of voting and they turned up in numbers. HH did the same and his also voted in their numbers. Clearly PF depended on rallies and did not emphasise to their members that they needed to vote for them to win hence the apathy in their area. They could have won if many of them voted.
#345 would you please stop throwing your MAN U vs HOE trush on this blog find somewhere to recycle your MAN U garbage am here not even a fun. if you cant cant talk the language to this blogg it best you stay off your computer i bet you are at a cafe posting nonses.

Dull chaps and their crazy leader, they forgot about varying demographics in Zambia. Even here in the U.S McCain will win in his strongholds and will lose in Barrack’s favoured areas. Why isn’t Sata angry with Southern province? Sata should blame HH who refused a merger! You know what,Sata’s time is up. Presidents are made from heaven! Learn to accept defeat batata, ba Michael.
We have won again with no goals conceded Chelsea 5 Sunderland 0
Peace Be Still people of Zambia. Facts are before us. THANKYOU RADIO ICENGELO for professional updates, analysis and the appropriate comments. You educated us. Fr Frank please go counsel Mr Sata, remind him, there is a reason why RB got so many votes on C/Belt and the most loyal just stayed away… Pf kaponya cadres have made it easy for MMD to win! again I say Live with it, RB is President.

The current politics are scietifically driven and it is important for PF to embrace science and reflect. There rallies did not transform into vote – wrong marketing. And the rallies were just a forum for people to be entertained by a joker.Sata should embrace democracy in his party is not a sole trader shop.

Massa is good in Brazil but Hamilton is equally good on any day so let the best man win my only warry is the boy always want number 1 even when number five is more than good enough considering that he would be f1 chap. And on VJ if you think he can do it is ZED am sorry its not possible at international level his methods are country specific remember ZIM
It will be very easy to catch a cheat by simply looking at the number of registered voters various catchment areas, the number of people who voted less deaths. The opposition can easily get this data from CSO, schools, as well as from traditional leaders who are well versed with population in their localities. Someone somewhere is bound to make a mistake with figures.

#327 UCHIPO, you are talking sense but for sensible politics. PF is Sata and Sata is PF. No Sata, no PF. He has never even subjected himself to elections. He is the fundraiser, the general secretary and the grass root himself. Remember his trips to Malawi? Remember his money laundering in South Africa? He earns his money by being United Nations ambassador for Taiwan. He used to be anti-mainland China because he thought Taiwanese could take over when he kicks out the Chinese. Now he has mud on his face because China has 1.7 trillion dollars in reserve to cushion the credit crunch. Taiwan will be borrowing from China through USA. Politics hey!
for the last two months, the strategic plan from sata is to alert of presidential poll will be rigged, like he was sure to be the futur president !
he knows that he wont be the president but wants to push people think that presidential poll had been rigged….
when he will receive money he’ll stop these annunces
GAME OVER MAN 4-3HULL
I must be missing something that Mr Sata is saying about 75% turnouts? The highest turnouts going by the official results on the ECZ website are in the C/Belt and Southern province mostly won by Mr Sata and HH respectively. Lusaka mostly won by Mr Sata also had high turnout rates. The highest official turnout I have seen so far is Bweengwa at 60.93%, won by HH.

Do not loose hope my friend just because your vote was on the wrong candidate this time round there will come a time when we shall have a leader that will completely stand out from the rest.
That day we will have no problem deciding who leads us into the future with hope. Remeber people did not really understand these elections its less than 3 years rule a continues ion of what the late president has put in place.eg someone even said they will rule for 5 years after these elections
And now you RB, you have promised the Zambians a lot if things during the election should you win, are you honestly going to keep your promise?
People, how can we deal with VJ? Aya sana. . . I’m looking for a permanent solution.
It was the power of us villagers which proved too much for sata. I managed to give ba Sata his present. Let the old man rest now, no need to break his heart further.
#385 dont worry. you wont have to wait for too long
Dear fellow Zambians,
Why are we always suprised with the election results when we know very well that it is us the same people who vote for polical parties other than the issues the individual candidates put across. It is us the same pipo who in 2001 voted for MMD and rejected UPND and PF. it is the same pipo now that want PF instead of the monster(MMD) that they gave us in 2001. In 2001 we had a very good opportunity to remove MMD from power, but because pipo vote for politcal parties voted for MMD. It will be very difficult to remove MMD as long as this kind of mentality remains.
2011, lets vote for the best candidate with the best solutions for our country.
viva zambia
Massa pole hamilton 4 so no mistakes tomorrow we shall see let the best man win
TOO BAD FOR ARSENAL FANS, WORSE IF YOU SUPPORT SATA.. SORRY, DOUBLE TRAGEDY.
VJ. That is the national problem we have. And now he says he wants to sue Lubinda. He must as well just sue the entire country.
#393 – Uchipo ,
When is the hamilton race? i really hope he wins. Hey I learned today that the political commentator who comes on CNN often Amy Holmes was born in Zambia.I’ve always liked her comments.
this thug sata the whole PF stinking rubbish !!!! Abash kaponyas.
EVERYBODY VOTES FOR THE CANDIDATE WHO HAS SOMEHING FOR HIM. NOW HERE IS THE SCENARIO. 400,000 IN FORMAL EMPLOYMENT AS TAX PAYERS. THIS IS ABOUT 4% OF POPULATION. 4 MILLION REGD VOTERS. THIS IS 10% OF VOTERS. SO PROMISING LOWERING TAXES IS GOOD FOR 10% OF VOTERS. 60% OF ZAMBIANS LIVE IN RURAL AREAS AND PROMISING CHEAP FERTILISER IS GOD FOR 50% OF VOTERS! SO WHO HAS BETTER POLICY? RB OF COURSE.
it over over abatata!!!! cobra and the boat its over. you dint do you ground work. its a done deal . ba dan pule and the rest who joined the boat at the last minute shame! no jobs for you. the thug GBM you must be cursing yourself for misjudgement.
YOU LAIRS. ARSENAL 1 VS STOKE CITY 2 NOT 0 2 AS YOU ARE REPORTING KAPONYAS. SATA LOST TODAY KAPONYAS. THANKS.HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA…
***You see what kind of media in Zambia***
An Observer Critisises Media
A SADC observer says there was a lot of media bias particularly by the print media in the run up to the presidential election in Zambia.
Dr. Mokete Pherudi has described media bias in an election as a time bomb that could fan violence.
He has called for the formation of an election media committee that would set codes of conduct for covering elections.
Mr. Pherudi however commended the Electoral commission of Zambia for professionally conducting the presidential election.
The SADC observer mission has described Thursday’s presidential election as free and fair.
PF and UPND. We are tired of know it all MMD. Can you guys put your act together and rally behind a single candidate for 2011? This candidate should not be sata and definitely not Hakaivotela Humwine. But a new leader with clean credentials. Please or else we wont vote for either of you in 2011 because you are wasting our efforts.
Stop mentioning VJ. You started looking for him in luapula when he is in Lusaka.haaaaaaaaaaaaaaa…………..daga smoker lost. shutup.
BANE BANE BUSHE ISNT IT POSSIBLE FOR SATA AND HAKAINDE TO COME TOGETHER NOW!! BEFORE THIS MAN IS INOGURATED? INSTEAD OF CHASSING AND TRYING TO FIND HOW AND WHERE THEY RIGGED BECAUSE ITS OBVIOUS BUT YOU CANT NAB THEM CAUSE THEY ARE IN GOVERMENT!!
#397,
You need to review the areas where PF has done well. Urban, informed rural areas. So that outdated theory that PF is made up of Kaponyas is has no proof whatsoever.
Hamilton has the waste of people ahead of him tomorrow who are all going for his blood tizaonako
MONSTERS – RIGGERS: I had a dream last night; one that will stay with me, for as long as I live. It is a dream of a lot of Zambians.
We were living in a world, there was no pain; no hungry people. Everyone was at peace with one another. This man in my dream told me he’s from the future, coming to give something better even though I that: One monster dies another one comes alive.
When we came to this world we were prepared to fight a battle but we found a war. When we came to this world, we were prepared to fight demons but we found the devil himself. Indeed, one Monster dies, another one comes alive! One “Rigger” dies, another one comes alive!
We’ll regret this move of Re-electing MMD
The Post , first wanted to put down Great Kalu a truly Zambian son ,secondly they criticised Levy’s Govt. through out and now it was RB .What a paper! They now lose with Sata.Mulongoti Deal with them next week.
UCHIPO THE RACE IS STILL ONE, THEY ARE GOING FOR FINAL ROUND. THIRD QUALIFIERS TO DETERMINE WHO GOES ON POLE POSITION

#354. How do you tell your friend that “your english is too basic for me”. He answered you well (#370). Just because you are in Uk lero you begin kumeka. Ataseeeeeeeeee! A Jemusi with imferiority complexes. By the way, we don’t even know what you do over there? I am proud Zambian and English is not our mother tongue. You can’t even acknowledge the effort that your friend has put in to learn this colonial language. Come back to Zambia. Who knows may be you are the beneficiary of misused Tax payers money!!!!!
Ka Mulongoti and VJ should be deported when we take back power in 2011 from these corrupt chaps.
mossad kgb here in the uk its finished long time
Guys i told u long time ago MMD is winning so why fight u see in times like this you can never take out the sitting precident from the office so SATA is just wasting his money and time and one more thing he should keep his dirty mouth shut he was chassing US$ away from ZAMBIA
shutup!!!! Arsenal lost but not your figures you are telling your fellow kaponyas. Tell sata to brush his please. He has mentallity of a thug.
mossad-kgb am here i av seen masa take P1. well VJ at work P4 for hamilton is not so bad but with alonso just behind him am afraid for him. masa has less fuel than hamilton and you know how the ferrari pit stops are or can turn out to be. the key for hamilton is to be calm or attack kimi right from the start int turn 1 and hope to force an error from him and pass him. put on some distance between him and alonso then he will still be champ regardless of masas win. we meet tomorrow after the race. i will cheer for hamilton stil. the boy is so Goooood. hope Heiki can fend off alonso.
#410,
But why did Amy Holmes dump the Zed name? Unless of course its was a colored Zed guy with a white name who was the dad.
#404. SMOOTHCRIMINAL
Sata & HH can get together whenever they feel like but it won’t make any different because this was a Presidential election, should PF & UPND form a pact, they would only control decision making(make noise) in Parliament but don’t forget the final say is with the Executive President in this case Bwezani Banda & to make matters worse HH & Sata filed in nominations separately so at the moment,no pact will help unseat MMD.
A ONE PARTY STATE.GOD PLEASE COME DOWN AND SAVE US FROM THESE SELFISH PIPO.WHOEVER LEADS NEVER WINS.A VERY BAD DAY FOR THE POOR.

FORMULA ONE FANS, POPI, UCHIPO, LETS MEET 2MORO TO DISCUSS F1 RESULTS. ITS ALMOST 02:00 HRS HERE IN CHINA, GOT TO SLEEP. GOOD MORNING. TAKE CARE GUYS ITS BEEN SUCH A LOVELY DAY ON THIS BLOG.
Zambia has been saved once again from calamity.Ba Post betraying Zambia for a few pieces of silver. You managed to photoshop Sata rally pictures to artificially inflate a feeling of popularity but thank God you failed to photoshop the election results! Now we can breathe peacefully, stabilize ship and wait for another leader to emerge. As someone pointed out there is no simple route to state house lsk. Those who have wanted it the most are the ones who have failed the most lamentably e.g Kapepwepwe, Sata, HH.Someone shall show up for 2011 and we only hope by then this cobra will have been off the scene. We shall neva be ruled by a Kaponya! Not as long as eastern,western,n.west.&south. prov vote!!
PATRIOTIC Front (PF) president Michael Sata has accused the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) of inflating the presidential results in favour of Vice-President Rupiah Banda.
And Heritage Party president Brigadier General Godfrey Miyanda has cautioned the losing candidates against instigating their supporters to violent conduct.
Sata, who was fuming burst into Mulungushi International Conference Centre and immediately demanded to have an audience with ECZ chairperson Justice Florence Mumba and other officials.
However, Sata was told that the ECZ officials were at the old wing. Sata then proceeded to the old Mulungushi wing to see Justice Mumba. But Justice Mumba and her officials could n
In the process of searching for the ECZ officials, Sata was asked by a journalist from the BBC if he would accept the final election results.
In response, Sata said: “How do I accept defeat when I have not been defeated?”
When asked further what his complaint was, Sata angrily responded: “I have given you the register for the 2006 elections which we are still using but the current one like the results for Vubwi have been inflated.”
#426,
You work for BT? Impressive. Zamtel is about to close due to mismanagement. Come home and run it, man – if you are not just a tech there. We’ll speak to Akulu Mphuno to make arrangments.
Sata further took a swipe at the various international election monitors, saying they had come for a holiday and not to monitor results. He said there were a number of irregularities which monitors had failed to notice and later on condemn.
PF spokesperson Given Lubinda, during a briefing at the election centre, asked the ECZ to suspend the announcement of results until concerns about legitimacy were attended to.
Lubinda said the party could not accept the results of the on-going presidential election because there was clear evidence of irregular alteration of results going on in the closing stages of the counting and reporting.
Imwe bantu, Nyebo nobatu, Mwebantu, You people…kanshi where are those pabwatoooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! messages which flooded this blog all this long till yesterday? We miss them. Or have they sunk with the titanic, and the people on board are realising they have to learn how to swim? Wish you a good and (hopefully) quick recovery guys. Mwenze munasamwa ba PF. Pabwato my foot. The one whose rallies were attended by children (according to your Post newspaper) has won. May be the children voted. Learn a lesson, serves you well, this loss. You are humbled, mwapeteka namichila monga sindimwe mumasamwa. Mwanya, PF will never rule Zambia, never!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If Sata is so angry, let him prove it by jumping into the nearest lake, better still into the victoria falls.
“There are some obvious cases of inflammation of voting figures in a significant number of rural constituencies, including Mkaika, Sinda, Milanzi, Keembe and Chisamba as was predicted by MMD’s Mbita Chitala,” he said.
Lubinda said there was significant confusion in the distribution of replacement voters’ cards, but that this had been specifically targeted to PF strongholds.
He further said in the last 24 hours, there had been covert movements of MMD personalities in military and government transport, which aroused suspicions.
a teacher in Mpika, asked grade nine pupils at chitulika Basic school a question, “what is the special name for Sata’s suppoters? almost everyone in class failled, accept one who was looking like a Kaponya answered. They are called SATANIST’S.
awe uchipo r u a chelsea fun. viva L’pool. this season is going to be interesting. what more when the goal machine comes back from injury. mossad-kgb masa is definately wining tomorrows race but not the championship. that is the key. viva hamilton. all he needs is 5th place and he will be the youngest F1 champion. we wait for the race tomorrow and i hope it rains. hahahahaha.
Iam sorry man!!!! but sata lost.!!!!.I know people in zambia pay higher taxes. The problem is SATA and HH. Blame them. These men should be held responsible not me, who is just mentioning reality. sata can not cheat people that will reduce tax for him to have polical advantage when they know he has no capacity to do it. Atleast HH understand economics not your smoker.
It must be really depressing to think that your income tax will not come down because Sata has lost pres/elections. But this presupposition is flawed in two ways:
1. We don’t know how the tax regime was going to be reconstituted. The rich may have not benefitted.
2.MMD has no capacity to redress unfair tax practices? Well, RB promised to reduce fuel prices within weeks of taking office. May be RB could as well reduce income tax. Please, RB, make this slogan “lower tax, more money in the pockets” a reality. Check out the “pros and cons” of actualizing this slogan and pre-empty ba_Kaponyas. Take care of Sata’s supporters!!!It is a big group! Fear for 2011!! MMD will be buried by MYSELF
#84, I also could not believe what I heard on 93.2QFM. Sata was ranting like a disturbed hooligan. Lusaka graduates voted for this man with a landslide. They were going to take us along with them on this horrible ride through hell. He told the foreign monitors “you are just here on vacation to enjoy the sun. Monitor, monitors…..” unprintables. Then he went on to tear the poor reporters to pieces. Indeed there is a God who saved us from this Dictator. The chibwato has sunk…period! There was no rigging. The Sata PF Monitors signed off the results period. Infact the PF cadres did us a favour by being so vigilant. MMD was made to toe the line on transparency. NO RIGGING PERIOD!!
Firstly, for #410 in America there is no such thing as coloured. That Stereo type that has made some Zambians think they are superior, anything with black init is Black period. The Zambian inferiority complex holds a lot of people back. Plus people here really do not like her blak Behind. The to Sata and HH, if Banda wins, he should thank HH, for Vote splitting, Just like I mentioned Mtambara did in Zimbabwe; some time before. Let us get over these elections and pray for 2011, God bless you all.
Total nonsense. How can we be subjected to the same treatment since 2001 by the same creedy thugs. This is taking people for granted and only Zambians can stop this. You are a true patriot Mr. Sata and your colleagues in PF. The same trips were used in 2006-western province was the main culprit and it has been used again. We need some liberation action – some human beings in Zambia do not deserve to live. These chaps are not only against Sata and PF but the will of people. They should however remember that they will not remain in power for ever. Sooner or later the will of the people will be granted. Sata may the God lord look after you and give you extra strength -and don’t give up.
“Confused” for President in 2011. Any votes?
#434, PABWATOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
No problem man, before I came rto the United KINGDOM, I worked in botswana. Ask some teachers from zambia who was working there or still working there from 1999-2005. I improved boswana telecomms, because there is no corruption in bots.Untill I was invited to uk to offer my service with BT TELECOMMS. If i came to zambia, you want me to be looked after by the daga smoker.no way sir,Tell sata to join HH.
Bola yabija for Sata. One only hopes the old man does not develop hypertension, blood pressure, heart attack, etc. The old man seems not to be at peace with himself. Sadly, whatever he does, no matter how much he cries – nothing will change. He will NEVER be president of Zambia. He told RB ‘its over’, little did he know that he was just telling himself.
I would rather have RB as president than Sata. Sata was the master mind of intimidation during his era in both unip and mmd. HH shall prevail in 2011. thank you Jesus
Twice beaten and never shy…
Iwe 443, you’re a liar! How much ground work did PF perform in Western Province? Zeeeeep! Sata wanted to play games with the Chieftainships by promising that he’ll re-instate the Barotse Agreement. That was really dangerous. They asked him why he never did that when he was the #3 in MMD. Why didn’t he do it? He showed less credibility. W/ province is a killer province! Ask UNIP. They’ll tell you about voting patterns in 1963/8. Yes,MMD ‘ll not stay in power forever, but if you know about Western Province, you should have camped there for months. Those villagers have redeemed Zambia again. Remember 2006! You have paid the price!!!
Next time learn to co-exist with UND
Yaa! MMD again…Sakabwele. Mr. sata get out of the way for HH for next election. Truth is rigging has happened. 70% voted in Eastern when its only 30% nation wide. Please Tatuli Fupuba.
Nomba mulipile inkongole shilya mwapokele mu ma campaign. We the MMD will now deal with the trouble makers Post, Zambian Airways etc…..
#442 Truth*************** ,You are right man but that girl she is a disgrace to zambians. Why she is a conservative(a Repug)? She is even a disgrace to African American. Why she changed her surname to holmes while Obama did not?Shame to her!
#443 wrote “We need some liberation action – some human beings in Zambia do not deserve to live.” Are you out of your mind? How many people never voted for PF? Just as much as those who didn’t vote RB, right? So: they all don’t deserve to be alive?
You’re a mediocre analyst and you’re deluded. Before you talk of Western Province, admit that there are hundred of thousands of people in other provinces who rejected Mr Sata. It is a cummulative vote. The votes in W/Province simply added to the voice of others even in Mansa and Kasama, and Isoka. Sata lost in Isoka. So why bash W/province alone? Sata lost in Isoka in 2006 too. So what’s your point? We all don’t deserve to live?

BETWEEN SATANA AND LUPIYA BALANDA THERE IS NO ONE FIT TO BE MY PRESIDENT OR DESERVE TO BE PRESIDENT, THESE TOW CHAPS ARE ALL OPPORTUNITST AND HAVE A LOT OF THINGS IN COMMON, THEY ALL STARTED THEIR POLITICAL CAREERS IN UNIP AND HAVE BEEN EATING TAX PAYERS MONEY SINCE THEN.
SATANA A POLICE OFFICER NEFIMENO FYABOLA I CAN EVEN BE EMBARRASED TO INTRODUCE HIM TO MY FRIENDS AS A PRESIDENT, IFIMANOFYE IFYABUKAPONYA HE DOESNT BEHAVE LIKE A PRESIDENTIAL MATERIAL.
LUPIYA BALANDA, THOUGH HE MAY HAVE SOME OLD EDUCATION OF 1960S HE IS TOO WEAK TO BE A PRESIDENT AND IS A SHAMELESS CHARACTER WHOSE BEHAVIOUR HAS BEEN EVIDENT DURING CAMPAIGNS AND HE DEMONSTRATES SOME HATE FEELINGS TOWARDS HIS CRITICS,
HH can only be presdo in tongaland. Fact! He can never win on national scale. Forget about it. He did a lot of ground work since 2006 actually.
#446, you can rot where you are! Only cowards like yourself can say Banda with his open corruption is better for this country. Bull!
Sata can rejoin MMD since his collegues are still there(VJ) remember how a formidable team there were in 1996!
THANK YOU PF FOR BEING SO VIGILANT –
MMD FAILED TO RIG AND THEY HAVE NOW LEARNT WHAT IT MEANS TO DO THINGS THE RIGHT WAY. THANK YOU SATA AND HH. YOUR FOLLOWERS WERE SO ALERT. THE INCOMING PRESIDENT MR RUPIAH BANDA IS VERY EXCITED TO HAVE BEEN VOTED FOR WITHOUT RIGGING. HE WILL PERFORM HIS DUTIES WITH A PIECE OF MIND UNLIKE HIS PREDECESSOR.
MR SATA PLEASE RETIRE. YOU ALMOST SUCCEEDED.
Surely chaps who carry stinking disused bath tabs with a kaponya puddling inside cannot govern us, we who are civilised. Let them govern themselves at kulima tower and mandevu. Sata, kuya bebele mudaala as they say. Kwashiya kumbele.
Confused for President in 2011. I will liberate you from self-fear and give you courage to build a first-class Nation. My manifesto is simple: Reconstitute govt practices and eliminate all middle men who induce corruption through computer technology applications. Create jobs through helping you to “clean up” yourselves! Bring civility to internal politics, empower Zambians who are already in SMEs. I hate to give handouts to people without ideas! Always reward a man/woman who has already wetted his feet in the dirt trying to make a business work. Never give money to Kaponyas that potbarrel politics. Reduce the size of the govt. Outsource govt jobs to skilled Zambians. Earn as you work!!!
#456 You are right just the numbers 456.These chaps are too old to be concerned about the lives of ordinary zambians and our children. They have always lived a previledged life with gvt expenditure for their families for over 35 years both of them.We need a younger generation just like America,Nigeria,SAfrica,Botswana,Tanzania and even DRC presently. The world has changed and younger people are taking these challenges without being intimidated by these old folks.PF has had no convention since it was formed. It is a personal to holder.MMD should start grooming younger educated men and women in their party and not recycling.UPND should extend to the rest of the country.
SORRY PEACE OF MIND. MEMBE WHERE ARE YOU????? PF COULD DO WITH SOME CONSOLATION FROM YOU. NDANI APIKA NSIMA? B..A…..N….D…A!!!!!!!
YOU CHAP WHO CALL YOUR SLEF TRUE ZAMBIAN YOUR ANALYSIS OF ZAMBIAN POLITICA STINKS YOU SEEM TO BELIEVE THAT ELECTIONS WERE NOT RIGGED, WHAT IS TO RIG AN ELECTION? YOU CHAPS YOU THINK REGGING IS HAVING ALREADY VOTED PAPERS OR SO, BESIDES THESE UNCIVILISED VILLAGERS FROM WESTERN PROVINCE AND NORTHWESTERN GAVE LUPIYA BALANDA A LIFE LINE, OKAY, NO WONDER YOU ARE VILLAGERS MWAKULACULAFYE IFYOFINE PA ZAMBIA, US WHO ARE CIVILISED WILL CONTINUE TO FEEL FOR YOU BECAUSE WE DONT KNOW SOME OF US WHAT IT FEELS TO SUFFER OR SLEEP WITH AN EMPTY STOMACH, THANK GOD IAM NOT POOR AND IAM CIVILISED WESTERN PROVINCE AND N WESTERN IYEE POVERTY LEVELS MAYO ITS EASY TO BRIBE A POOR PERSON SO IFWE TWALYABUKA OCEAN.
I support HH and it is unfortunate he has lost but am glad he gave people of Zambia a choice and they have picked the person they think is best for the job. For they have to live with this decision for next three years. As for HH he had an uphill battle especially with the media, both private and govt, against him. I think that HH can now move on and concetrate on his business, I don’t want him to be a career politician. He has a young family that he has to build a future for. As for RB I say congratulations but I want him to deal with Mmembe (not the post) as his first priority.
confused you have my vote for 2011
I am delighted that Sata and Mmembe have lost. It was a clean and tranparent election. Talk of rigging in nonsense.Produce the evidence or sup up. Let Sata go and become Chief Cordinator of Northern Province Insanka corporation. We are tired of this 72 year old clown. What is PF but a one man undemocratic party.Long live Zambia ! Down with Sata and his false and ridiculous promises and his band of tribalists.
OBANDA WINS!!!!
“Those who cast the votes decide nothing, those who count the votes decide everything.”

its sad that mr sata cannot accept defeat. pf agents signed to confirm that the results were correct at the polling stations.when he was leading there was no rigging but now that the boat is sinking rigging has become an issue.
Kwena this has been a good run for our money! May I recap, PF and Sata, we didnt forget teh third term, machetes, maybe some pipo in Lusaka forgave and forgot, most didnt. The allegations Sata is bringing up now of inflated figures in Eastern Province, shame spilt milk. The easterns knew who was standing and knew what was at stake so tehy turned up en masse. Try something else, were your polling agents sleeping, didnt they tick when a voter went in, what records do tehy have now? Shame, only the courts can help you. You also spoke too loud, I will fire Salasini, Sisala etc etc, do you know they have relatives and sympathisers? Abakali taba landalanda, just action. Sembe, sembe, oh no
“Democracy is more in the counting of the votes than the casting of them.” – There is a lesson to be learnt from this election and most people dont see it.Open your eye’s and see-dont just look.Prepare for 2011.

You know politics in Zambia are very funny. I happened to be in Zambia during the campaign days. I saw on Muvi TV, the so-called Dr. Cosmo Mumba, imagine he was wearing sunglasses that we used during eclipse. His ground was that, his party was representing the young generation. I couldn’t believe my eyes to see a young generation politician expounding himself far worse than Bikiloni and Difikotti on stage. In 2011, bane let us have a vibrant young president, not people like cosmo, who only has a doctorate in memory verses and clapping hands in the congregation. Akulu Mphuno is just warming the seat for a young lad coming soon!!

#141, ShakeShake, you wrote “Where is Maestro HeHeHe Chief internet campaign strategist for Up and Down (UPND_. HH’s political career just got its final nail in the coffin. What’s his comment?”
Here I am. I just came back from church – the Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) Church – above 10 or so minutes ago. Thank you for seeking me because it shows that I am a serious force to reckon with. Or probably that I am the most favourite or appreciated LT blogger. On the Mighty UPND, my comment is that president HH has done very well. President HH’s battle is against all odds especially the media, but now all skeptics will have no basis of FDD or UNIP against his possible candidature in 2011.
Election rigging??No,it’s now known as election fraud and zambia has just gone one step forward with regats to Election fraud.Does anyone have an idea what company supplied the computer software that tallied results???This is not cause i support some political party,i just want a leader and not a ruler. We had a leader but we were robbed!!M.H.S.R.I.P. I’m afraid to say that out of all the candidates in this elections,no one is capable of taking our country forward..
Very shortly, I will be writing “awe chaabipa” to someone and his uncouth cadres.
Also, I will be writing, ” mwabeleka kapati” to the winner of this 30th October, 2008 Presidential election.
Thank you all Zambians. Takecareful care and be blessed.
Gentlemen and ladies MMD used its MPs to campaign in various constituencies. they camped there. who did PF use? he only has 47 MPs out of those 26 did not campaign for him because they are on NCC and in conflict with his ideals. you cant win an election through rallies alone. Pliz learn!
Tax payer urban area, its obvious you are frustrated but please, do not take it out on me. I did not choose your destiny. I would advise you to stick to your own personal recommendation of not voting. thats the wisest thing you’ve come up with so far

Abena mishi, ntawi yolima nafuti yabwela. I hope you got enough seed and fertiliser because soliciting for some from town dwellers especially this season is going to be difficult going by your votes!
My analysis is that the rural pipo are annoyed with the way M`membe was insulting RB and as such the only way to react to M`membes arrogance was to vote Sata out whom M`membe religiously supported with those graphic rallies which were not real.
Generally the rural pipo respect elders and I think alot of pipo sympathersized with RB. So M,membe is responsible 4 Satas loss and not rigging.
#476
Is this really true?
“I saw on Muvi TV, the so-called Dr. Cosmo Mumba, imagine he was wearing sunglasses that we used during eclipse”
LOL!
Black diamond
Rural people don’t have access to Post – M’membe news paper.
178, lol = laughing out loud
with 2 constituences remaining to go, MMD is leading by 26,512. Its game over.
Friends, fellow bloggers and all V.I. Persons out there. We need to thank the good Lord at this outcome. All leaders are chosen by God. So we need to pray that RB will perform as he needs to. His win will be good not only for the rural voter, but also for us town dwellers. A win by Sata would have been bad for investor and donor confidence, and that d have meant 6000 to a dollar, and our equities would have been worthless. Sata d have been a terror in state house. We need to start looking at the bigger picture and not only your pocket as Sata would have you.
Dont be so negative about RB wait for him to announce his cabinet. He may choose to put Sata as his vice.
Where to now Mmembe and your Post. Largely you have caused Satas loss. You indirectly campaigned for RB. You made voters feel 4 RB and you have made the titanic sink.
We await tomorrow’s ceremony and look 4wad to seeing Thandiwe Banda, 4th first lady. I am available to be your dressing and image advisor
# 490 which constitution? not the Zambian one! this is not Zimbabwe Iwe !
its no wonder vote turnout was less than 50% next time i’m sure it will be even less its just sad that public funds have been used up and ministers will get their raise and TEACHERS AND OTHER CIVIL SERVANTS….NADA!!!! whats the use in voting when there’s no democracy in the country??? gosh this realy puts me off going back home!!!!
I voted for Sata but i have to accept these results as free and fair.Pls dont resort to violence it does not pay. Not all of us wiil go to plot one. Lets protect our children.
this is my first and last time to write on LT.i thought in this time and age even poor graduates could reason.1)HH went to,i assume UNZA.logically he could have reasoned that to remove the government in power is very hard, ask odinga, morgan….the best he could have done was to team up with Sata, win then fight Sata within the system. 2)you people you see with your eyes that these people wanted to increase their pockets when lecturers and doctors who are saving your lives are fighting for just 2%.some of you people voting dont even have shoes!do you Zambians want Jesus come and tell you what is wrong and right?
#464 ust shut up.If you were civilised you would have known that in elections there are losers and winners. If you are satanist please go back to the drawing boards and campaign better next time.We the civilised ones wanted change and not old recycled men who are hooligans double crossing from UNIP to MMD to PF and then you expect people even with half the brain to vote for you.All the parties here havent done very well. The win for MMD is not a good one PF should improve and UPND should strategise. The elections were free and fair no qualms about this just accept and work hgarder next time selling yourselves and your policies. Its as simple as that
Now RB should wake up, its time for work as the recession is fast approaching. All that economics he learnt, time to work with Magande is now. I wonder what the Post story will be now. Continue insulting RB? Lets make love not war, eh guys?
490 are u dreaming, or its a kachasu hang over?
WHY IS IT MAINLY AFRICAN COUNTRIES ARE MULTI-PARTY WE SHUD MAKE ZED A TWO PARTY SYSTEM THIS IS DEFINITELY MORE EFFECTIVE AND FOR SURE AT THE END OF THE DAY THE BEST TWO CANDIDATES COMPETE!!!!
502, did u grow up in Luanshya?
no wonder even now the world thinks victoria falls is just in Zim.
#490. Which constitution are you referring to?
I guess its time to move on and see what the next three years hold for Zambia. There may have been some malpractices but it’s not worth persuing when you consider that the turnout was less than 50%. Whovever lost the election only has themselves to blame as any of the 4 candidates could have won if they had managed to convince voters who didn’t turn up to vote for them.
Yaku bayama ba Sata you do not even have a farm where you can retreat to rest and relax. Please RB do my Uncle a favour pay for his health review in south Africa.
I do not envy RB at all he has now to pay back to all the ‘job seekers’ surrounding him.
Those ministers who disobeyed RB during levy’s illness Mwapya! yaisa reshuffle. President Rupiah Banda
No.490. We forgive u for u are talking out of ignorance…Once more we thank the rural people for saving mother Zambia from Satan.
Luanshya, kitwe, lusaka then….. wish you the best life can offer you.bless u and all Zambians.i love you
Can’t wait to see the Post’s editorial tomorrow…
maybe he is promised a brown envelop also. if he accepts the rigged results.
U were at Gandhi or Mpelembe if I recall think I know you…
The first thing that RB can do to endear himself to the people is get rid of the crooks whose help he enlisted. He must be his own man and let the people judge him on his own merits.
517, yes RB needs to redeem himself without talking much. He must denounce corruption and stay on the right side of all these internationally condemned ills, ama abuse of human rights, resources and all that. In that way he will work well with magande and they will do well. The job seekers, awe they need to be discarded to the political bin. I hope abena VJ can just say am not interested in govt.
#486, Princess, London. That is the way it will be shortly. I will congratulate the winner and give counsel to the losers.
The good Lord God surely answers prayers. Thank you Zambians from Central, Copperbelt, Eastern, Luapula, Lusaka, Northern, Northwestern, The Southern ans Western Provinces. You have done a very noble job for all of us.
Now, we have learnt how we personally as individuals have to behave in order to help usher a new GRZ at an election time instead of ranting from far away places outside Zambia.
Sata the bloodyyyfulll stop crying man. xcept defeat bhutta. wel we all kw that he was goin to cry and claim the votes were rigged. lets here something else and if u reallly think they were rigged can you prove it for once.
I thank God for stirring Zambia away from a potential thug.
Sata walila zo-ona
mweba muma foreign service mwapya! appeasement yaisa!
Civilised 1 Kaponyas 0
hahahha
Sata…. this just shows that people went to your rallies to watch the clown perform
Ba Sata retire now. You have been in Govt since 1964.
#502, monde akafuna, you wrote “i thought in this time and age even poor graduates could reason.1)HH went to,i assume UNZA.logically he could have reasoned that to remove the government in power is very hard, ask odinga, morgan….the best he could have done was to team up with Sata, win then fight Sata within the system.” While I respect your opinion, I think that it is very unfair. Why should president HH have joined a Grade 4 drop out to be under him. Not only that, the unelected PF leader Sata does not like the NCC to give us a sound constitution while the democratically elected UPND president HH is for a people driven constitution done through the NCC of which he (HH) is participating in.
The boat has been torpedoed once again!!!! LOL
ZNBC reports: Acting President Rupiah Banda has taken the lead for the first time since the presidential poll results were first released by the Electoral Commission of Zambia on Friday.
From the first release, Patriotic Front President Michael Sata has been leading until Saturday.
The latest release by ECZ chairperson Justice Florence Mumba has hauled Mr. Banda to 708 thousand 683 votes from 6 hundred and 52 thousand 354 votes.
Mr. Sata’s tally has gone up to 682 thousand 171 votes from 66 thousand 194.
The figures represents results from 148 constituencies.
Only two constituencies Sikongo and Sinjembela in Western Province now remain to be announced.
I find the rural support thet the MMD are talking about to be too shallow and misplaced. Chongwe, where I grew up, can never produce 9,000 voters.
For the sake of ignoramus, Chongwe is about 30kms from Lusaka. It is a backdrop for disgruntled retirees that are not only angry but also fed up with failed policies.
Rupiah Banda is a tired politician who could go to all lengths just to be president. For once and unexpctedly, MMD thugs have teamed up to loot the country’s wealth.
We are in for another 3 years of empty rhetoric of development and wealth creation that never happens.
The so-called Mwanawasa legacy will now ‘live-on’ in the form of Rupiah Banda, albeit in a new form.
Cheers,
Where is anti Rigging?
Sata please retire now…three defeats in a row is too much.
what happened to zambiaelections.org?? they went quiet after 144/150. also their results do not tally with those released by ECZ
sata should just retire i really do not think he will be relevant in 2011. besides, he seem to be aging fast, has radical kaponya ideas and his policies are not investor friendly, may be lupiya balanda is a lesser evil of the two evils, besides, balanda seem to have a deeper sense of humility and being a trained economist may turn his classroom knowledge into running the zambian economy, sata being a former police officer he may end up a dictator iam a PF supporter and iam very sad, annoyed and confused right now because i have been sitting on this computer since thursday blogging and checking results hoping PF wins, but it was not to be PF rest in pieces but not in pieces…
looserpool lost just like there name
wat can we expext from the worst(western prov) Sikongo and Sinjembela!!! Titanic eyiyo
Sata wapya sikongo na sinjembela yaisa! final blow!
SATA has lost. The boat has sunk.
Accept the results . Your chance is squandered. Wait for 2019
A CIVIL WAR in Zambia is long over due. Teach these bastards how to respect the will of the people. US, Britain, Russia, Germany, China, Japan, Korea and all other great nations past thru it. May be that will be the solution. Every generation needs a revolution.
chwe! Chwe! chalila kuno ku zed. sata must retire from active politics.boma ni boma
HH back to recycle bin awaiting deletion from politics.
#537..only those who can hide behind anonymity can utter such statements…the will of the people has SPOKE..wait till 2011..
true blues- Chelsea 5. All those supporters for ManU watch out. This is our year
Ba PF and Post had polling agents i do not agree with the rigging nonsense.Just concede baba
#537 walipena! uko! who wants war? go to Congo there is enough war there.
Massa on pole position. Watch out 2morrow. Forget about politics its over over. Ask Jimmy hit that track. Let the easterners also steal from our country
“An observer critisises media
A SADC observer says there was a lot of media bias particularly by the print media in the run up to the presidential election in Zambia.Dr. Mokete Pherudi has described media bias in an election as a time bomb that could fan violence. He has called for the formation of an election media committee that would set codes of conduct for covering elections.Mr. Pherudi however commended the Electoral commission of Zambia for professionally conducting the presidential election. The SADC observer mission has described Thursday’s presidential election as free and fair.”

#537 The war in Congo for the Congolese. Zambia needs it own. Just like other African countries. May be you will wake up.
Ma observers nabeve cant they just be forth right and say its the Post they are talking about? awe mwe!
“Terracies” You are right. In politics, when you decide to employee a negative tactic against your opponent, you realy have to check how far go with it lest it backfires on you. M’membe did not seem to realize that. And Sata should have been bold enough with M’membe to tone down.
Iwe Anonymous – PF has agents at all the stations and counted the people who voted. Unfortunately, we made sure the elections were transparent and yiou have no excuse calling for a civil war when you are there abroad washing plates with no heart for your hoemland.
I hope you know God in your heart because you really need salvation.
#530, kavwima, you wrote “Sata please retire now…three defeats in a row is too much.”
My opinion is that there is no need for Sata to be asked to retire for the reality is that Sata will be a ZAMBIA POLITICAL EXCLUDE for failing the same competition 3 times in a roll if he loses the 30th October 2008 election – of which only 2 Western Province constituency results are remaining.
Let us wait and see for I am waiting to congratulate the winner and advise the losers while I will empathise with them.
At least my plate is clean. So, Zambia must clean its plates too. More especially at Cabinet and Elections.
Imwe Chi anonymous ni chofunta! i guess his loneliness and mistreatment by the Bazungu is making him bitter. go back home.
WE SHUD NOT FIGHT OVER ELECTION RESULTS US IN PF WE HAVE THE CIVILISED SUPPORTERS AND WE THE KAPONYAS ITS US THE KAPONYAS WHO WANT TO FIGHT SO TOMMORROW HELL WILL BREAK LOOSE IN LUSAKA AND COPPERBELT, WE CANNOT BE ROBBED TWICE, KUFILILA MUNSENGA MANJE NO JAP LESS, IT IS A TROJAN HORSE NOW.
#537 U can go and hang!I am sure u’re feeling that pain in your a s s for the loss suffered.Fagots like u deserve to die lightening. Its good u’re now feeling the pain while us we’re deep into amanone!!!!!!!!!It will pain u more bcoz after your 1st wishes have failed to come true, your 2nd wish of zambia experiencing civil war is a non starter so u your a@*ss will ache more the moment u’ll realise that u are an all-round loser!Pipo like u were born losers.Perhaps there was just too much amniotic fluid that leaked into your brain so your head is largely filled amniotic fluid than the brain matter!Your spine too is full of maggots & pus!
Ba anonymous. Please tell us how a war would be of benefit to an already impoverished nation such as ours? If half the voters didn’t bother to vote what makes you think they’ll be so thrilled about fighting?
#550, How come your god let these people steal elections? We need to find out who your god is. He promotes stealing people’s votes. Very untrustworthy god.
#540, peace, you wrote “#537..only those who can hide behind anonymity can utter such statements…the will of the people has SPOKE..wait till 2011..”
I just wish to reminder #537 that his IP Address is in the hands of LT right now. So the Zambia Intelligence Services can pick it up from here and do just to this useless coward character hiding behind a mask of ‘Anonymous’.
We should accept the result outcome because God is the one who pints,Our ways are not God’s ways neither are thoughts are God’s thoughts. So let us give glory to God because He has chosen for us.
Only one million people plus voted so should 12 plus people fight over that! ba anonymous amano yanono sana! Go and sleep walalufyanya! thats not how elections are won. people saw that in PF thats why they have rejected the party. theft theft kwisa are you at Mulungushi or in sikongo to prove the theft of votes! atase!
Symptoms of dementia include:
Mood changes ? particularly as parts of the brain that control emotion are affected by disease. People with dementia may also feel sad, frightened or angry about what is happening to them (e.g losing elections).
Anonymous you are a moronic imbecile. Just because you hiding behind that user name does not give you the right to spew such rubbish. Obviously you have no relatives back home. If you carry on like that i will expose you.
I hope the have been no heartattacks reported about Zambians of the unelected PF leader Sata cadreship around the whole world. I also hope that Sata will find time to have himself checked medically after this hard fought run that will be concluded in the next feww minutes.
“One Zambia, one Nation.” Let the ‘Zambian Dream’ of having prosperous Nation continue and not remain a nightmare as it is now for president Hakainde Hichilema is still around. However, we still need a strong opposition that will keep RBB on his election campaign promises for 2011 is quite near.
Too theoretrical and trivial on this channel. Dont you know the old adage, man bite dog? So what do you think those crouds at Sata (na)s rallies meant. To see the joker in flesh and blood!
By the way I voted and you chaps didnt. Now tell me how do you expect ECZ to count you in favour of the SERPENT from you flat screens.
As I write am sitting in a good flat over a probable Kaonde burrial ground of only three years ago. Here in Lumwana SATAna is a villain who scares investors, and is probably the reason for the poor showing of otherwise a strong kwacha.
Stop the nonse talk and let us who vote determine your fate.
Two contituencies to go, RB leading. Mulibahubahuba-Statistics?!
@537 – stop inciting wars until you are ready to go home and lead the people to battle. Were you even in Zambia to vote? Sata is only popular in 4 provinces – they do not make up the whole of Zambia.
There is nothing like rigging in politics.Sata go sleep. You never did your work nicely.Even if you have 100 sheep you have to leave the 99 to look for one lost sheep. You and me are catholics ,you very much know the parable of the lost sheep.you concentrated in urban areas whilest you shud have concentrated on the least developed areas of Zambia.Your going to sp was a mistake. In this election Western province was going to be your key or some other province.Your political strategy wasnt cool.Time to quit ,you plus that your boy hakainde

I actually meant it for the good of his health and maybe just maybe, a respectable retirement.
No.552 “At least my plate is clean. So, Zambia must clean its plates too. More especially at Cabinet and Elections”.
How do u exclude yourself from Zambia? I thought u were Zambian with all those comments u were posting. Please handle your tongue well.
sata wawa!
Congrats MMD. We the PF have lost. We’ll however wait to see what you will offer; in the name of completing what Levy started. Remember, it’s not a five year term. See you soon!!!
DO NOT BLAME ANONYMOUS FOR SUGGESTING WAR, I SUPPORT ANONYMOUS ZAMBIANS SHOULD WAKE UP MAY A GOOD BULLET WILL OPEN THEIR EYS ANONYMOUS WE ARE TOGETHER IN THIS, AND DO NOT INVOLVE YOUR SO CALLED god in all these god is a mere mental figimentation and people who are usually poor and whose life have let them down stick to god and hope for the after life which will never be. anonymous you will never walk alone even though liverpool has walked alone today.
Enigma to Lusaka Times – please check how #514 Enigma happens to share this pseudonym with me.
MMD has won a clean game, RB assured clean elections because he is educated and read on where and what Sata could not work on in 90 days, VIVA peaceful people. RB you are a diplomat POST caused so much harm but read their paper now they have a breaking news saying BANDA emerges a winner guess Mmembe is wet in his pants now
528, you appear to be ignoramus yourself. Granted you grew up in Chongwe, but when did you last visit the place, apart from occasional phone calls at Christmas? Get a life, Chongwe has 40,346 registered voters, so what makes you think 9, 000 of those cant vote?
I would like to know how and when rigging is done in our system. When you enter the polling station, you present your identification, they announce your name and the monitors (including opposition) tick in their Registers. When all is done they count how many votes were received and check if they tally with the number who voted in the register then they announce and stick outside. When does rigging come then? Tell me pliz
There must be a problem with your processing. Now my message appears under #571 Anonymous. What’s up, Lusaka Times?

#566, Choma1, welcome to this current epilogue of the vote results. President Hakainde Hichilema has done a very good job, hats off. HH has saved Zambia from having a dictator in the Zambia Plot 1 office. HH has also stood on his 2 feet without funny claims by some tribalists. HH now has to study careflly thes numbers and take the mighty UPND Businesses to the provinces where he performed badly – on Bemba-tribal lines i.e. Luapula and Northern Provinces – so that we can give them jobs and feed their families.
President HH should also continue to expand his own family’s businesses in those Bemba-tribalists’ areas. By 2011, I expect to see HH’s money at about 70% increase from ZK 38.8Bil
#567, kavwima, thanks and take careful care always.
satatitanic went down after hitting an iceberg called elections.
because of arogance and kaponya mentality the captain of the ship, sata failed to naviagte and hence went down with all his kaponyas. the weight of all the pangas and rocks ensured a speedy decent into the annals of history.
I hope the have been no heartattacks reported about Zambians of the unelected PF leader Sata cadreship around the whole world. I also hope that Sata will find time to have himself checked medically after this hard fought run that will be concluded in the next few minutes.

Those of you agitating for war, you are quite pathetic. Where has war in todays civilised world yielded any desirable results? War where in Zambia, then you will be happy and comfortable in the diaspora when innocent lives are lost in Zambia? You ought to examine your purposes in life, from your desperation I can read in between that you have insurmontable personal failures and the frustrations you suffer daily are manifesting in the way you are blogging here. Shame on you,
There was no rigging in these elections.Regionalization should not be mistaken for rigging.Sata and his team spend most of their times giving interviews to the post and on phone in programs when they are supposed to be doing some serious underground work and studing. They had wisdom in these elections but they lacked intelligence. To me they are slow thinkers and in any game there is no room for slow thinkers.
574, that is also my billion dollar question for those crying foul and licking their wounds. Some rig master tell us please?
Ba ANONYMOUS has probably never even seen a war. A lot of stuff happens during war, rape, killings, cannibalism, extreme hunger, etc and this is what you want for us. No way.
There is no way I would be willing to kill for someone who supported Chiluba`s third term bid, who said there will be no elections in 2011 if he wins, who has never held any elections in his own party.
This should be a lesson to people like you anonymous, Zambia is not just Lusaka and the Copperbelt but it is all nine provinces (villages included). If you think the MMD has rigged, provide evidence and present your claim through the legal system.
Thankyou Miss Pretty.
Stubborness never pays. u see ba sata! Pride of doing it alone has not paid. u were calling or belittling your friend ati ka hichilema. If u guys teamed up u could have won. The fact is that u can’t unseat the ruling party as a single regional party. neither PF nor UPND can do it. U should have swallowed your pride Sata and HH to form a formidable opposition. Try that in 2011, I can assure u you will make it. I just hope the PF will still have a strong leader not dictator.
#576Maestro Hhehhehhehhe that your hh made it difficult for his honour RB to be prounced winner.HH was no factor just check my place of birth Livingstone how we slashed both your hh and sata no, chance for third termers.HH was nothing but a dealing factor, hope he quits anyway
this number 537 must be a refugee from congo. Guys we shuld be fortunate that atleast we even get to vote these days. remeber there is only one winner in any race.
so big up to the winner and gud luck next time to the losers.
One Zambia One Nation.
I see so much ignorance in some of u people demanding the identity of this Anonymous guy. If I may ask how many of u are using your real names?
#570 Shimaster!!! you should be a mentaly ill chap…. WAR? Never entertain such. ask people from congo DR and you will shut up. you are the “economic illiterate” chaps we talk about.
with the new Sadc system its is almost impossible to rigg election… unless sata can proove otherwise
kavwima….you are anonymous.
Yes we are all using pseudyns, but for this war monger, he even knows that the ideas he is bringing here dont even deserve a proper blogging identity- s/he is so pathetic, am almost puking here you know!
kwena Satana bamulepula… Bakandile bonse nababalala bamambala. I hope the south africans whose chopper they used wont gun him down.
Miss pretty. Are u pretty? U seem so.
I know i am a guy but who cares. i have to use a Miss
595, please stop it, it aint funny to do this….I can suggest a blog name for you if you have run out of ideas.
Sata cant prove anything. they ,sata and the post, will rant and rave. but we have seen through your twisted and selfish ways. we have seen your true colours and put you where you belong. Post , you better redeem yourself and find another target. your editorials were getting boring!!
sorry Sata. somethings are just not meant to be. especially when there are so many unanswered scandals. maybe the post can do some real investigative journalism and try to answer them for us now that you are not the puppet master. Rest in peace and please find a replacement.u r past your sell by date
Please bloggers look out for this imposter on 595, he wants to destroy my blogging track record, look at his typing he doesnt even know that “i” comes in capital letters.
No.591… What are u talking about and what kind of name is Free-Market-Capitalist? My full name is “Kavwima Shimaponda” and just for your own knowledge Kavwima means “HUNTER” in Ila.
#595 and 598 ,Miss Pretty are you a transvestite. if so there is a vacancy in the PF
hahah lol at 600
#586, choma1, I like your opinion. But I tell you that HH still has a chance to lead the mighty UPND as its President and Presidential candidate in 2011 and this is very much in order according to the UPND’s constitution. Whether you like it or not, this election has given president Hakainde Hichilema numbers to work with as he strategies for 2011 Presidential elections. These are a measure of his strengths. Remember there has been a very big number of voter apathy and also most new entrant voters did not vote (those who got Zambian Citizenship by acquiring NRZ).I also recommend that the Zambian CSO must start carrying out National Census every 5 years – one year earlier than P&G elections.
Kavwima AKA anonymous
Free-Market-Capitalist means I am for free market principles meaning a person or investor must be free to own 100% shares in his or her respective business and must partner or must be willing to sell ownership to whoever he or she wants or if he or she wants to sell to the general public, must do so on the LUSE.
I am also for the free movement of prices, free fluctuation of currency etc.
Basically Free market economic issues.

“The Former Information Minister says election rigging is a serious offense. Mr. Mwaanga told Journalists at his residence in Lusaka, today that it is sad that politicians are failing to concede defeat in the elections urging Zambians to remain peaceful…Some political opposition parties have accused Mr. Mwaanga of vote-rigging after a dramatic reversal of early results in Thursday’s elections.”

you know people.we’ve had something others don’t have for over 40 years, but taking things for granted always hits hard, and bless yourself zambia, coz some nasty day will come,it might not be tomorrow,it might not be next month, but by the way the gvt has manipulated things the last 3 pollz,,,i can smell it like the first rain smell
The music is now playing and the true strategist is dancing to the tune. To late for some to start tuning their instruments. Out of tune with reality has costed some a lot. Politics, a game for those who have passed through school and acquired the skills of critical analysis, forward planning and originality. ‘To know is to predict and to predict is to act’ once said one philosopher. It is hard to accept defeat but one can learn from it. My felicitations goes to the victor. No sides taken, very neutral. The question for the losers is ‘where did we go wrong and what needs to be done in order for us to be winners and who can make us win, the people or the leader?’I have some recordings to do.
Hi pipo is there common sense in Zed?
MMD mwanyanya rigging alaaaah, you know for sure that Sata should be the next President.

Mr.Sata and Mr.Hikahinde should have known that in 2006 they failed to replace MMD because of their greed and again they failed, together the opposition have more than 1 million votes, what a joke these are men who are power hungry wanting to be President.
I told you the boat would sink. We can’t have a president like Sata. I have continued to wonder what those who voted for Sata saw in him. You should have seen him on T.V. reacting to losing his lead. The man was so annoyd that he spoke abusively to journalists.
This country will not be ruled by a snake.
THE POST AND SATA HAVE LOST IT ALL
THE POST WAS BUSY EXCITING THE NATION THAT SATA WOULD SWEEP WESTERN, NORTH-WESTERN…..WHERE IS PF?

Funny I am only learning how to say pabwato now! Aww I really feel for all of ya…
Our players have been answered FULL STOP
For real the elections have been rigged. ECZ is behind it all. The all system is currupt.Remember will all suffer the same consequnces, may b worse because u r guilty. U have imposed a leader on poor Zambia. You did it even in 2006,natural justice will fete u all.
Most of the pro RB mmd comments are un fortnate! You know deep down that RB and ECZ helped to rigg in certain stations using pre marked papers? iam sur RB will NOT RULE ZAMBIA AS A HAPPY MAN AND HE WONT FEEL FREE EVEN AROUND THE STATE HOUSE WARD. MOST OF YOU FEEL HAPPY SINCE YOU ARE ON RBs PAY ROLL AND THE MAJORITY OF ZAMBIAN ARE SUFFERING AND YOU ARE MAKING FUNNY OF THIS, YOU ARE JUST BEING EVIL AND ALL THOSE RICHES WILLL NEVER TAKE YOU ANYWHERE AND YOU ARE NOT ABOVE THE GOD ALMIGHTY. HE SHALL LIBERATE US. WE THANK SATA FOR SHOWING THAT THE MAJORITY OF ZAMBIAN WHO UNDERSTARND THE ISSUES HAVE REJECTED RB AND MMD! LONG LIVE SATA LONG LIVE PF TUCHILI PABWATOOOO
Ba Miss Pretty you are from leeds
Sata needs to concede defeat gracefully and hand over the burton to a younger and more dynamic person if his party is to survive. He needs to swallow his pride and let others try where he failed. He would better off retiring quietly while he still has the respect of the people.
I hope other manufactured parties will take note that people are affiliated to what the party stands for and not what the leader of that party is. The losers have three years to re-organize themselves and convince the rest of us why they should go for the top job.
The enthusiasm shown bey the opposition to catch rigging during the elections should now move to catching those who have their eyes on public coffers.
#621. You sound like Sata’s protege. You just don’t make any sense. You are angry with yourself for taking a wrong decision. You are suicidal! “If I can’t have it, I will destroy it”. Babies do that. All of Sata’s supporters have the same “POST whipped” demementia characteristics. See the description of Mr Sata by UK-Telegraph. (See below)

jhomu (618). There is no law in Zambia, people have been caught with marked ballots, by 31st in western and north western people were still voting, is that a free and fair election?

All the best Mr Sata in your petition and I hope you will not lose more money after this election campaign has had a heavy toll on you and your PF.
As for president Hakainde Hichilema, please let us UPND campaign team focus on convincing the electorate to vote for our would-be government in 2011. There is no time and need to participate in a law “academic exercise” as you (HH) put it in 2006.
Within Lancashire county, think thats enuf, you think you know me?
rigged or no rig RB u ar in plot1 your task is bring o zedians 2gether incl those u stud with in mmd. rmember u found them.my advise is consider choosing another canddate for 2011 else we will av aother presidential bye elections its costly mwe!Same applies kuli ba MC. gUD 4 HH still young and energetic. I wish Levi had listened to pipo’s adv.He ws a good leader. Iam urging RB not 2complete Levis prgs as per say bt work on his weaknesses for a beta ZED TO ACHIEVE LEVI’S GOALS. GOOD LUCK!

The people have spoken. there can only be one losser and that was Sata! as for rhupia this should be you last attempt to stand! HH keep on trying till you drop dead!
I am not a Sata fan, but I respect him for being a voice of trampled upon masses. Sata and the late Mazoka are the only two oppostion leaders who have given the MMD a run for their money. Without the likes of Sata MMD would continue having a field day, Chiluba and KK once said, “Zambian are so docile, “I could rule them for ever”. This may explain the voter Apathy as most have resigned to ever seeing change in Zambian Politics. With growing numbers of unemployment and people living in abject poverty it is about time that Zambia had a fire brand, articulate, charistmatic, young and modern leader to propell the Country into prosperity. Otherwise it will continue to be doom instead of Boom!
I am a Zedian Liiving abroad. I am responding to you who said (a Tonga will not rule Z) My dear you better hide your ignorance under your bed because Levy Patric Mwana Wasa was Tonga fro the the bantu botatwe. Please keep your stinky ignorance your children should never see it.
#635 Ms Pretty yea actually myt do think i know who you are……..
This was satas 1st mission how sad is this
“Mr Sata, who leads the Patriotic Front, vowed during the campaign to transform Zambia within 90 days of taking office by forcing foreign firms to hand over 25% stakes to local investors.”
Post (1st November 2008): VICE-President Rupiah Banda has scooped the presidential elections, defeating his three opponents.
The elections were contested by Patriotic Front (PF) president Michael Sata, United Party for National Development (UPND) president Hakainde Hichilema and Heritage Party president Brigadier General Godfrey Miyanda. Vice-President Banda won the Republican presidency after defeating his closest rival, Sata with a narrow margin.
641, shed more light about yourself, I might just know you too.
The Post finally have one positive thing to say about RB- that he has won the elections, a fact that they denied every single day, even as they coined the “satamania” nonesense and the “mwa mukolo” stupor
Ka Thandiwe, right place at the right time!
Sata has the same set of results as RB and HH, only that his total is suddenly lesser than RB’s……hes wondering what formula the judge used.. its simple addition but Sata calls it rigging because he missed primary school
Copperbelt, Luapula and Northern Province must go the Eastern Europe way – SECEDE. Tired of fake elections.
My father is a bemba and my mother is a tonga, i am confused with all this hatred that is being spewed on this blog. Zambia has 72 tribes all you so called educated are coming across as ignorant. We have to embrace a celebrate our diverse cultures thats what makes One Zambia One nation under God. Do not let tribalism rear its ugly head its not Zambian .

#635, Miss Pretty, you called me by shouting “Maestro heehhee whatever the difficult name, what is HH position on the elections?”
The president Hakainde Hichilema has not yet issued a statement, but I think he has acknowledged defeat. You know that us intellectuals do concede defeat when the results are clear.
My, Maestro Hhehhehhehhe, personal standpoint is that the elections were free and fair and us as the HH campaign team just lost clearly. This means we have a homework to do not tomorrow but starting today. There is no need to waste time on challenging the winner. What we have to do now is meet the voters and create a competitive objective newspaper both in print and netwise.
No.620=Zest…Which “PLAYERS” have been answered? If u mean PRAYERS its “R”. Mind your spellings because simple words can mislead people.
#648, COOLIO, kindly visit w w w . zambiaelections . o r g and then view the results from all the 150 constituencies if they have all been put forth by now paying attention to voting in Luapula, Northern and copperbelt provinces. Ask yourself why people voted for Sata afterwards.
Also, check the results from The Southern Province and ask yourself why exactly is it that people voted for president Hakainde Hichilema.
When you are done, come back on here and challenge me, Maestro Hhehhehhehhe, on the tribalism in Zambia.
Then attempt to answer: what can an undereducate and unelected PF leader do to move Zambia in a development foward manner?
650, thanks mate.
Sata wawa ! ! !
HELLOW!! LIFE CONTINUES AT THE POST,LOVE IT OR HURT IT. IT DOES NOT NEED RB AND MMD.THEY SHALL CONTINUE WRITTING ALL WHAT THEY THINK PUBLIC NEED TO KNOW. GUYS,YOU HAVE 100% SUPPORT FROM MY FAMILY, WILL KEEP ON BUYING YOUR PAPER. JOB WELL DONE FRED

Advise HH to quit leading UPND, hes a bad manager. Despite his good CV he has failed to sell himself to Zambians..I wonder if he skipped public relations and marketing courses…. hes such a disgrace to MBA holders
people. these guys have known that they’ve ‘won’ since last night. RB’s daughter-in-law wa spotted at a Lusaka boutique early this morning shopping for an outfit for the innauguration.
KK brought King Cobra & HH together for a meeting to try and bring the opposition together. These two men who claim to have Zambia at heart could not put their personal ambitions aside and stand on the same ticket.Dont you think if these two came together it would have stopped the tribalism before it got worse. By refusing to stand together they have shown that they are both not worthy of the Zambian Presidency. Politically i think they are both finished. No tribe or region should try to exalt itself above others we are all equal One zambia One Nation under God.
‘Hichilema, who is one of the three presidential candidates – Sakwiba Sikota and Robert Sichinga, says people labelling him as a Tonga tribalist are wrong because he has never been tribal.“You remember that Andy Mazoka was given that Tonga label for many years. When he died, the very people who labelled him Tonga were passing accolades about him,” says Hichilema. “Andy was not tribal, he was a quality person. People would want to pass the same tag to me in order to reduce my chances in providing a service to Zambians. They know I am not tribal”’ Source: maravi . blogspot . com / 2008 / 10 / ive – come – to – unify – country – hichilema . html
~621,Yesterday I stated that VJ is not a factor in these elections, neither is the ECZ. Ask yourself what the Post headline should have read this morning, why that headline is far fetched. If you recall in 2006, it was on a day like this that they announced that LPM had won because their sources where all over Zed. Now, following their conspicuous support for Sata, don’t you think they know he has lost hence the mute mode? Ponder, ponder on this simple analysis.
What’s up LT? You can’t post my comments?
#657, Pastor J, you wrote “#650 Maestro Hhehhehhehhe. Advise HH to quit leading UPND, hes a bad manager. Despite his good CV he has failed to sell himself to Zambians..I wonder if he skipped public relations and marketing courses…. hes such a disgrace to MBA holders”Firstly, I am not a UPND card carrying member and never fit to ask HH such. Hold your fire. President Hakainde Hichilema is on the right track. Just wait and see what he will do by November 2011, by God’s grace of giving him (HH) life. A lot of people thought HH dependended on FDD and UNIP, but he (HH) has shown us that he will reclaim late Mazoka’s UPND achievements with a bit more time and fair media coverage, actual reporting.
Sata and Mmembe have lost! We are all having the last laugh ! How could anybody ever imagine that a clown like Sata can run a country ! Look at him he cannot give up lying. He says turn out in East Province was 75% and yet not a single constituency in the East or any other part of the country attained that percentage.
Where were the police when Sata was causing disorder at the Electoral Commission. Arrest the kaponya that is the law. Police should not sleep on duty. We are all tired on this uncoth oldman.
Sata fought a very brave fight and must be congratulated even in his loss. It takes a man of his caliber to bring out that kind of political competitiveness in our country. It was great to see it happen before all our eyes.
As for RB the ‘wise man from the east’, your first task is to unite the nation. I leave the rest to your Great imagination.
#659, COOLIO, you wrote “KK brought King Cobra & HH together for a meeting to try and bring the opposition together. These two men who claim to have Zambia at heart could not put their personal ambitions aside and stand on the same ticket.Dont you think if these two came together it would have stopped the tribalism before it got worse.”
Please, slow down. I ask you to write me who brought FDD, UNIP and UPND leaders in the 2006 UDA to choose HH as UDA’s presidential candidate. KK and HH both work together to give you all Zambians a good president but unfortunately most of you have been brainwashed by Sata’ mouthpiece The POST. Who walked away from KK and HH this year?
YEs RB,your first task is unity and stability. Please dont tune in to the School of Manyozo, remember that Lusaka which houses your residence had 50% rejection of your candidacy so humility in victory will come in handy.
Where are you the Pabwatoooooooooo manias shame on you filthy tribalists lets. 2011 your filthy cobra will be too old for anything. Good luck RB. HH dont worry you are in the waiting come 2011.
Ladies and gentlemen, we need to rise above these petty politics and decide the future of our children! SATA and HH are too greedy & selfish chaps who have failed us again, instead of uniting. This time around, they should have been discussing how to share Ministrial positions, but because of mental poverty they have in their little brains, we have to wait for another 3 more years of mismanagement of the Zambian resources! We can’t have uneducated people who are not paying tax decide the future of the Nation, and later alone be bribed with hard earned tax payers money! Shame really!
Most satamaniacs are resting, its been a long haul. The sound of phrases pa bwato, mwa mukolo was enough to even chase a fly on this blog!
What happened to the Tonga Bull? Did he just become a cow?
For now, I think HH and Sata can take a break. Start with intra party democracy, then we can meet you at teh polling station in 2011. As for abena Mike, I think its time to pass on the baton to someone which is advantaged by age and …looks!
#666 continued for #659, COOLIO.
[Who walked away from KK and HH this year?]
Was it the UPND’s democratically elected president Hakainde hichilema who walked out of the KK hosted meeting? Or was it the undereducated and unelected Sata’s PF leader Michael Chilufya Sata who walked of the said KK hosted meeting?
Why is it that people fail to see Sata’s shortcomings? The man, Micheal Chilufya Sata, is simply a dictator and nothing more nothing less. Look at how Sata is handling his 26 MPs participating in NCC, does this behaviour give you any hope on Sata as a Zambian President? KK said that Sata can make a good Minister and not a President and you choose to overlook such credible advice.
Zambia has been raped again. People’s wishes and rights trampled on. SAD Day for us who thought MMD had over stayed.
#666. Maestro
What you need to realise is that HH was given a chance where he was supported by Nawakwi & friends, but the boy failed and couldn’t beat SATA in the polls! This shows how unmotivating the man is. This time he should have supported SATA and later alone win it himself after making a name! I come from the East, and Rupiah is not wise! Come on! Have you seen him give a speech? Very pathetic as though the man has oranges in the mouth!
Ba Post you expect us to pay to read your useless online paper. You must be joking! Please reserve your louse electronic paper for King Cobra Sata(na)
#669, Geologist, Canada, ceheck #673 above. Also, I like your opinion especially where it is written “We can’t have uneducated people who are not paying tax decide the future of the Nation”.
This is good data. How can a sane Zambia vote for the unedereducated or uneducated Micheal Chilufya Sata to ‘decide the future of the Nation’ at Plot 1. This could be the worst joke that Zambian can ever have in our history as a Nation and Country.
Thank God it appears that Sata has lost this 30th October, 2008 election. Big ups though for a hard fought spirited fight Mr Sata.
This will be a big disgrace to the Zambian people at international conferences! Who is RB going to convince? Look at Mugabe who’s believed to have plundered resources in Zimbabwe! When he gives his point of view, all African Heads of state are convinced because he knows what to say!
The post website looks solemn, still with the Friday 31 date …they dug themselves deeper into a nightmare scenario….hope RB does not revenge just like he promised
Chopped noses and limbs; gang-raped women, brutally mutilated genitalia to mention a few. These are some of the characteristics and effects of war which people like Shimaster and Anonymous are agitating for. And usually it would like you are fixing those in power yet it is your mothers, sisters and very close relatives. People of Zambia, learn to tame your fingers and minds. I refer to fingers so that you only type that which builds the nation.
678. I TOTALL AGREE WITH YOU. ITS SHAME THAT SOME PIPO CELEBRATE THAT RB TRASH WHO HAS BEEN REJECTED BY EDUCATED PIPO. GOD HELP AS WE HAVE DIFFERENT AGENDAS!
#675, Geologist, Canada. While I respect your opinion:
“Maestro…What you need to realise is that HH was given a chance where he was supported by Nawakwi & friends, but the boy failed and couldn’t beat SATA in the polls! I strongly believe that Sata knwoing clearly that he is uneducate should be enough to let him to be led in a GRZ by educated people of president HH’s calibre. Sata is just too flip-flop.
# 664 you are my man God Is Great. He can not let Zambia go to the extent where Zimbabwe is. RB might not be an Angel but Sata would definitely have brought our country on its knees. Sorry SATAn leave politics to your children byeee
Elections are seldom won by the opposition, but lost by the incumbent government – HMC
Forget about Sata he despite his shortcomings has played a very important role in providing a credible opposition for this budding democracy that is Zambia. Saint HH should be a better strategist ,if you and your party are percieved as tribalist do you fill all positions in your party with people from your region or do you try recruit people from other regions. Marketing of a party is slightly different from Marketing a product/company. Sata is an old man probably set in his ways but HH as a young man needs to Adopt to the dynamic enviroment that is the Zambian political scene other wise he will end up an also run.
#677. Maestro Hhehhehhehhe
Iam with you, but education has done very little Rupiah! Just imagine at that age, that’s when he brings image buliders for what? SATA can articulate issues even though the man is not educated!
By the way, When Rupiah was GM of NAMBOARD, my father was GM for Eastern Co-operative Union(ECU)! RB has never performed in his lifetime and the chap was just employing people from his villge!
What we need in the country is a period of calm and clear thought processes in a peaceful environment that does not unnecessarily aggravate trading partners nor promise undeliverable pledges to the people of Zambia. We need a care-taker president who can safely guide the nation to the 2011 elections when, hopefully, a real leader can emerge to take our country forward or, at the very least, provide a second care taker president who will maintain the peace and steady economic progress until the leader we deserve comes forth. To that end, I feel RB is the right choice for now. HH has shown a lack of political skill and a frustrating naivety, the General has no hope and Sata is a renegade.
PLS POST IS NO LONGER A FACTOR HERE. THOSE CAN REPORT ON ANY ISSUES THEY FEEL ITS NEWSWORTH. SATA IS TOO POOR TO ‘BUY’ THE POST. MEMBE IS A RICH GUY BETTER THAN RUPIAH BY FAR.
We expected this,didnt we?????(rigging)
-The poor will go poorer
– the rich will steal more
– corruption will be worse
-church sleepers and burial sleepers will go worse(RB)
I hope this will teach opposition not to be power hungry in future, but to learn how to merge.
Ba Mwaba we are not talking about who is rich.. we are talking ethics! ever heard of that? as a newspaper you report and let people make decisions you dont distort photos, qoute non existent polls which people alleged to have done them refuse, small unknown people in some province and attribute them as speaking on behalf of Southern province etc. ethics bane, ethics!
#685, COOLIO, please slow down. Go to w w w . hakainde . c o m and ask for the list of people in the UPND’s National Management Committee instead of exposing your ignorance on here. I a s s u r e you that you will find people form other parts of Zambia in that list. It does not mean that if the Veep of the mighty UPND is not Bemba then UPND is not balanced in a national way, no!
Just to get you going:
1.The UPND’s Vice President Mr Richard Kapita si from Northwestwern Province.
2.The Youth Chairman is Bemba – Ms/Mrs Mulenga if I am not mistaken.
So, take time to check and shun being too dependant on hearsy, COOLIO.
Bwanji It has been very interesting to follow this blog. Zikomo kwimbiri
Geologist Canada RB spent a good amount of time in foreign service including Egypt and as UN permanent Rep. you mean he never did anything in these postings?
#677. Maestro Hhehhehhehhe and #687. Jaroph:
Looking at the Unfolding of events, how are we going to have leaders who’ll take care of the Nation? Do you think these MMD chaps will allow a person like Prof. Chirwa to stand in 2011? No! So, we are stuck with RB! The only way is for the opposition to dislodge MMD from State house by coming up with one force!
These chaps will not allow intelligent and articulate people around them as it gives them fear, but would rather have wornout and outdated blander heads like Mulongoti, Teta, Chitala etc!
690.MWAICHE, YOU ARE TOO DULL, WA UFWA? WHAT ETHICS ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? ASUKA? SO WE CAN GO GEAD ON!
Ba Mwaba dont call me dull i thought i gave you examples of unethical conduct? when the post writes a story based on an sms on opinion polls is that ethical? even when Simutanyi says he did not do that poll they stuck to it! was that ethical? in essence that poll had no author!
Enough of this rigging nonsense – please provide credible proof that you have but seems to have eluded all international election observers. At least we can then use that evidence, if it exists, to provide Mr Sata with the ammunition he needs to mount a successful challenge of the election results in a court of law. If such evidence does not exist then please desist from making such claims and accept that in its absence, we are duty bound to accept the outcome of the election for the sake of peace in the country and stand together as One Zambia and One Nation.
#693. Waziona
Maybe you can educate me on the RB, because my history seems a little bit haze on RB in terms of contributions, apart from his performance as GM and being fired by Kaunda for corruption which he showed during his campaign!
#686. Geologist, Canada, you wrote “Maestro Hhehhehhehhe… Iam with you, but education has done very little Rupiah! Just imagine at that age, that’s when he brings image buliders for what? SATA can articulate issues even though the man is not educated!”
While Rupiah may have his won problems, as you have alluded to, educationwise helping him out, this is clearly not true of many Zambians of president HH’s calbre. Look at Ng’andu Magande and Caleb Fundanga and how their education has uplift Zambia’s economy in the past two years – infact 7 years of MMD under late Mwanawasa’s leadership. Compare, how the uneducation of Sata and FZP Chiluba caused tabulencies to our economy between ’91-’01.
WAZIONA MWAICHE WANDI KALALE, WAUFWA. I DONT WANT TO OFFEND MY LITTLE ONE OK? NEXT TIME, LELO NAIZANDA MWAICHE WANDI. GOOD NIGHT SWEET DREAMS.
Tribesmen, we only cry of rigging if we do not do our homework correctly. What did SATA and his team make of all those people supporting RB? Didn’t he think they would have a much country wide appeal than his PABWATOO nonsense. One man party! That is what Sata told Kavindele when he was in MMD? Has he forgotten? Most of the people he is calling riggers are his former poltical students. Sata is not a leader that is why he still believes at his age that he is better than all Zambians. Total nonsense!! He must start working on his farm so that we cab also learn how to retire. The BOAT HAS SUNK ON LAND!!! Chililo Chileshe Mulenga boyi – bwaila!!
Geologist Canada am not privy to the facts surrounding his alleged firing and being corrupt i know he worked at namboard though. But what i am sure of is that he served for a good number of years as Zambia’s permanent rep at the UN and i think was the first Zambia’s ambassador to Egypt. Thats why i wanted to know whether at these posting too he was fired ?
#694, Geologist, Canada. You shouted “Maestro Hhehhehhehhe… “Looking at the Unfolding of events, how are we going to have leaders who’ll take care of the Nation? Do you think these MMD chaps will allow a person like Prof. Chirwa to stand in 2011? No! So, we are stuck with RB! The only way is for the opposition to dislodge MMD from State house by coming up with one force!”
Nice points, but I personally think that Prof. Chirwa will just waste his time going to the MMD for he has alerady been rejected by them. Prof. Chirwa is welcome to the mighty UPND. Sata and his PF too are welcome to join the UPND and let us all sell president HH to all Zambia and put an end to this tribalism.
FTJ Chiluba has won the battle against Levy on corruption, so we are back to 2001! The likes of Chitala, VJ, Nevers who were fired will be in the cabinet! And then you say, we are on the right path to development? I doubt it!
HH is a failure due to one simple reason, he let his product be branded as …tribal…anything tribal can’t sell in Zambia. If he couldn’t transform the public perception of UPND now, it will be even harder for him later… It will end up a one man party like HP.. Its time for visionary leadership to take over UPND and remodel it
#704 Would we have been better off with Mr Chilufya Sata? just go back to 2006 and see the relationship between Chiluba and Sata. By the way does anyone know whether Chiluba resigned from PF?
#694, don’t underrate yourself. We can get power from anyone as long as we understand their strengths and weaknesses. Sata assumed things and underrated people – That is the best recipe for self destruction.
I have no doubt that MMD know they are not as strong as they ought to be but then this was not an election year and nobody planned for it. You pushed them using SATA and they have taught you a lesson SATA will never forget. One Zambia one Nation. One nation one leader and that leader?? RB, RB, until 2011.
colio..if your mother is tonga, then u r tonga. bembas will not recognise you as you dont have a totem which u normally inherited from your mother side..
MMD thinks zambian people are kids, rigging in their face!
Ok Ba Mwaba Bakalamba tusheni mwilafulwa.
#703. Maestro Hhehhehhehhe
It’s nice discussing these issues with you, but from what I have come to realize is that HH can not win because of his supporters! When I was at UNZA some years back, MAZOKA would have been President as he was well placed and had qualities of a Leader, but Tonga people made it possible for the man to win as they became tribal and the word if I can remember well as my history on this one is not haze, was “KAMWAMBA MADALA” ! I didn’t understand what this meant, but upon inquiring, it was obvious that all was not well! So, look at the voting pattern, it’s tribal man!! This is very dangerous! From the EAST, we have a saying that,”he who treads softly goes far”!
Correction, “i meant made it not possible for MAZOKA”
I think the future should be in our hands to lead Zambia at one point and bring in development! What we need is to be patriotic to our Nation! I will not be a Citizen of Canada, because I want to assist my Country at some point!
I am Zambian i feel privilaged to embrace both my bemba and tonga side. I find more similarities than differences in these two tribes. If HH has advisers like Maestro he will never be president. When you come to london next time HH make sure you invite all Zambians to your meetings not just your tribes men.
i have read most of the comments by my fellow bloggers and most of us are happy that God sees and only he…CHOOSES A LEADER AND SATA DOES NOT MEET THE CRITERIA USED….ba RB is not the best leader but he is more CIVILISED……THANK YOU LORD FOR HEARING OUR PRAYERS
#702.Waziona
Thanks for inquring! RB if he is to save the Zambians well, let him start to consolidate the 50+1% vote, so that if he’s standing in 2011, it should apply to him then he will win hearts of people. Distributing of sugar to people is insulting and reducing them to a level of animals. Even animals can fend for thier own food! So, this is the calibre of a Man we are stuck with. Remember,” if you give a dead fish to a person, he will only eat once, but teach him how to catch fish, then he will eat fish the rest of his life”!
Why should being a Canadian citizen preclude you from assisting Zambia? Sure a president or MP etc should not be a dual national. Our constitution is throwing away a mountain of talent by insisting that all Zambians who decide to hold another passport should denounce their Zambian citizenship. We need all the talent we can get to help our country out of this endless poverty.
#711, Geologist, Canada. Thank you for finally seeing that sense in the tribal voting. I have repeatedly mentioned on here – LT – that the tribalism that Sata and Chiluba’s MMD brought to Zambia is very bad and evil. However, weak minded and ill-motivated minded caharacters on here have called me all sorts of names. However, I thank that good Lord God for helping me to ba above insults which I gave up years back when I was a kid. My mum, whom I call call His mama, has done a great job in leading me to the Lord God. How i wished many of my fellow LT bloggers had trully imbedded their faith in God, our Creator. God answers prayer and all those who missed out on sound parenting can still do.
#717. Jaroph, good observation and am strategic on this one!
This is the reason why I can not be a Citizen, so that when am back home no one will apply useless laws that are not valid, but just to prevent people they fear!
Dont worry geologist that is on the top of the agenda of the NCC. But why do you want to have dual citizenship if i may ask?
Jarop, May Colio.. You dont need to be changing names.
#718 continued.
You know what Geologist, Canada, insults will not take any Zambian anyway. Whether it is a Tonga Zambian like me or a Lozi, ect. The earlier all Zambians realise that Zambia is our country as a whole and not parts, the better for us as a Nation.Just imagine some Zambian writing that a Tonga person will never rule Zambia, how will a Tonga – who know that a character from such a tribe has said “Tonga… never rule Zambia” – vote for a person from the insulter’s tribe. Sata also stand’s up and says we had 8 provinces on our side and we do not care about Southern Province. This is terrible and evil to its best because of discriminating. We need the message by HH of inclusiveness.
Excuse me? Have I missed something here? Care to explain General Kanene?
#718.Maestro Hhehhehhehhe
Good up brining comes with wisdom because you learn that,”you do not have to cheat, in order to win, since there’s no pillow as soft as a clear conscience mind, and this is what is lacking in RB and MMD chaps! They have lied, to themselves and GOD that they have won! And GOD is observing! There’s a punishment to every crime under the sun or in heaven!
ZAMBIA IS JUST A SH!T COUNTRY CONTROLLED BY A BUNCH OF CORRUPT VILLAGERS WHO HAVE NO INTREST IN DEVELOPING THE COUNTRY.
we have gone several steps backwards, all corrupt pipo are now back in office, and i hear xavoir chungu has started packing and prepare him self coming back to zambia.wasted years with RB.
I am lozi but I will never vote on tribal lines, its not health to vote on tribal lines
I suspect General Kanene has concluded that there is only one person writing under a UK Flag. I’m afraid it is possible to have more than one Zambian in the UK participating on this site General. I have no need to change my name.
@687 – Jaroph – Spot on! I agree entirely.

725. you hit it just right
ZAMBIA IS JUST A SH!T COUNTRY CONTROLLED BY A BUNCH OF CORRUPT VILLAGERS WHO HAVE NO INTREST IN DEVELOPING THE COUNTRY.
#714, COOLIO, your wrote “If HH has advisers like Maestro he will never be president.”
I tell you the truth that you, COOLIO, are missing my point. I all 100% percent for eradicating TRIBALISM in Zambia. The only thing that seems to be elusive to your mind is that I base my arguments on reality. This is simply how I was brought up. That is never to “beat about the bush” and tell lies, but to take the truth on the ground as it is and seek to eradicate the root cause of the problem. Fortunately, this method has worked for me and I am glad that the good Lord God is for the “TRUTH that sets free” always. “unless there be a compromise, there will never be backsliding.” – unknown.
I come from Eastern Province from Chipata, but never vote on tribal lines! RB, dispite coming from there is not a wise Man! Him and my father were GMs at the same time, NAMBOARD & Eastern Co-operative Union respectively! RB was too tribal as he employed his fellow village people! If you come from another village, then you have no job!
Sata need someone to supervise him! he cannot be given all the powers to himself! otherwise he is a hard working man and result oriented. Banda with the issue of him bring back rooten eggs makes him corrupt and bad for the presidency! what is it that he owes chiluba and VJ? Magande would have been the best candidate to succeed LPM as his wish or will! Zambian pipo thank you for voting peacfully and if someone conteplate on violance get rid of him or her immediatly. God Bless Zambia and Peace be with you all my fellow zambian
WHAT A LET DOWN FOR A COUNTRY WITH SUCH A POTENTIAL, BACK IN THE WRONG HANDS AGAIN!THE GUYS HAVE RUN OUT OF IDEAS THEY ARE JUST POWER HUNGRY. IT IS NOT TOO LATE TO CONFESS THE RIGGING AND ALLOW THE REAL NATURAL LEADER MR SATA TO TAKE CONTROL OF THE MESSY SITUATION, FOR THE SAKE OF 90% PLUS OF POOR ZAMBIANS WHO ARE BEING BRAINWASHED DAY IN AND OUT.
# 717
great point!
“Why should being a Canadian citizen preclude you from assisting Zambia? Sure a president or MP etc should not be a dual national. Our constitution is throwing away a mountain of talent by insisting that all Zambians who decide to hold another passport should denounce their Zambian citizenship. We need all the talent we can get to help our country out of this endless poverty.”
but i guess the ruling villagers loaded with jealous for none villagers will not accept that….sad!
#720.Waziona! I will never have daul Citizenship! Only one Zambian passport reflecting that am a Zambian!
We need to just accept that Zambian govt is a nation of villagers by the villagers and for the villagers! No Change!
As a zambian independent observer in diaspora for close to 20 yrs, a few observations over the last few election cycles.
1. Opposition cannot be framented and expected to win particularly against establishment candidates. If UPND & PF were unified, the headlines today would be different(Ego ought take a back seat)
2. Opposition needs to form coalition alliances all accross the terrain & not rely on stronghold bases, this in Zambia means creating legitimate following accross all provinces.
3. Alliance are only forged by trust & leadership traits, Zambian politics is divided between urban & rural voters, both sides take advantage of these constituents & alas the last two cycles 50/50 split
ZAMBIA IS JUST A SH!T COUNTRY CONTROLLED BY A BUNCH OF CORRUPT VILLAGERS WHO HAVE NO INTEREST IN DEVELOPING THE COUNTRY.
#724, Geologist, Canada. Those are interesting observations. Nevertherless, we need proof and credible proof only to showcase that RBB and the MMD campaign Team has tricked us. Otherwise, our claims are baseless. My advice to ba-shikulu ba-Sata is that he must learn – from past lessons by improving (REAL experience) – never to undermine or underrate his friends in trying to achieve goals for the Nation. 44 years after independence, you can not think that people are as dull as they were in 1964. President HH went to school that is how come his uses a calculator, but hen you call HH an “under5” and “calculator-boy” expecting the whole Nation to take you seriously. Acknowledge others’ potential
I had to do. That’s my way of life!
733 Magande is good office ‘type’ manager he doesn’t have qualities to help him raise personal support from the Zambian people. He would need to be aided by the establishment. So was LPM & RB. Zambia needs leaders who are able to gunner support from the masses on their own account the ‘Obama’ type. Or in future Kalusha Bwalya..hahahaha!
Hey guys forgotten about ACC? all those accusing others such as RB of corruption please report to ACC. And why didnt all of us protest and Report RB when Levy appointed him as Veep? I hope all that we are trying to use here from NAMBOARD bla..blah corruption is not from the ‘disgraced ‘ post newspaper!
#733, Ernest Mukelabai.
For the first time since I was born probably, it took the Zambia Army Commander, General Isaac Chisuzi, to warn us Zambians not to fall for Sata’s fighting behaviour. This simply shows us all Zambians how all wellmeaning Zambians understand that Sata is simply not a kind of leader that one can sensibly vote into being a Zambian President. This reminds me of Grace Mugabe, Zimbabwean 1st lady, who was quoted as saying that as long as Zimbabweans keep voting for the uneducated Tsvingirai, they will keep voting and voting thpught out 2008 and in future until they know how to vote for credible and eduicated people. So RBB may not be the best for Zambia, but better than Sata.
@#725 and #730 – what are you going on about? Those ‘corrupt villagers’ exercised their civic duty to vote. Did you? How are you back home helping the country develop yourselves?
I think the PF and UPND guys are toast. They can not be divided like they were and then expect to win the elections with a formidable ruling govt. machinery. Let them clean their house before pointing fingers at Rigging. Honestly, am not happy with where our country is at the moment and i would love an inspiring leader… very visionery and a perfomer to come up one day- not these old folks who have nothing to offer but promises!
Citizen Walasa! some of those chaps ran away from home a long time ago! some of them are even illegal immigrants and they start insulting people in Zambia they want others to develop the country so they can come back with their pounds or dollars to shine. Mwailasha! people will vote according to their needs. if their need is fertilizer and RB gives them he is gud for them! dont promise higher salaries for civil servants in Kabompo, Zambia only has about 120,000 civil servants and how many are in kabompo? tactics and strategy…
I don’t think there are any lessons for Sata. The truth is Sata is dreaded by his political foes and that brings them to the opposite side to make sure they protect themselves against him. Sata is a type of man where you are either for him or you are against him both sides have strong feelings. So they help with regionalising politics as well as a bit of rigging. It’s all about people in power protecting their jobs than it is about Sata Making mistakes. I think HH should go back to Auditing he has no appeal beyond his village in spite of the money and the education he is the most useless of the contenders for a man with his professional status
#748. Good observation for both SATA and HH.
#29 You are the man. Nalikwebele tabulwapo.
Pdx..i think sata is divisive. you are for him or against him. thats not how leaders work leaders galvanise support from everyone. He has failed to humble himself and go politely to campaign in western, southern and Northwestern.. he goes there for a whirlwind tour were he promises among other things reviving Barotse agreement. really? people can see beyond promises if you are not familiar they will not trust your promises. he needs to make friends with the people in areas he has no support. then they can trust him.
Maybe we should have the fedral system so that SATA and HH can stand as governor on the C/B,LSK and Southern Provinces?
@Waziona – yep, you’re right. Couldn’t have said it better myself. People complain about rural votes as if the so-called ‘villagers’ owed you their votes, which they cast according to their own needs and priorities. If you wanted Sata, you should have voted. Don’t blame other people who didn’t want him. The number of voters who cast their votes DOES NOT represent the whole of Zambia. People were largely apathetic to all the candidates, including Sata – so your allegations that people have been denied the candidate they want don’t pan out.
No. 752 I fear Mr Sata would only demand full independence if he was a such Governor under a Federal system. Not a path I would offer for a man with his type of politics.
725 & 730, I COME FROM N/W PROVINCE AND IN THAT AREA A LOT HAS CHANGED SINCE THE OPENING UP OF THE MINE IN LUMWANA. FOR YOUR OWN INFORMATION LUMWANA MINE IS LOCATED TYPICAL IN VILLAGE. MOST OF THE VILLAGERS HAVE BEEN EMPLOYED IN THAT AREA, FARMERS ARE ABLE TO SELL THEIR PRODUCTS EASILY. SCHOOLS HAVE BEEN BUILT, HONESTLY DOES IT HAVE TO TAKE SOME ONE TO STUDY ASTRONOMY AT NASA TO PREDICT THE OUTCOME OF ELECTION RESULTS IN THAT AREA? CAN SOMEONE DIFFER WITH ME PLIZ?
#743.Waziona! My fellow easterner (Mwana wakwasu)! Think free for just a minute!
1)Using Govt resources like Thre Helicopters on tax payers money during a campaign is it not corruption? MMD as a party should provide funding to a candidate, even RB can only use Govt resources if he’s o Govt duty! Simple rules!
2) Is Nawakwi and Sakwiba entitled to campaign using tax payers money?
3) Image builders using Health Vehicles and you call it Normal? You live in the US, and I don’t think that’s torelated?
4) Distributing sugar and campaigning, where people are reduced to a level of chickens! Pathetic indeed! And still, it’s not corruption?
HELL NO!
#747…There is no capacity in Zambia to develop Zambia period. If there was it would have happened already, come on stop dreaming. There is no politician who runs for office in his right mind who doesn’t want to develop Zambia. The real situation is they are mortally constrained by both the internal dynamics and external dynamics.Forget about a developed Zambia that’s a pipe dream. The president of Zambia is in fact Just a chief beggar to the international community ,so the more village he has in him probably the more sympathetic donors will be….remember their response to the handicapped LPM (mhsrip). They even gave him credit for fighting the corruption he really never fought.(4 convicts)
This was expected. The ruling party would never want anyone else to rule.am concerned about corruption it will continue it has been evidenty with RB in our recent passed.
Welcome back UNIP!!! One Zambia, One Nation!!! RB mulilo, RB mulilo Waikatako wapya!!!! Congratulations MMD/UNIP…
#756. I understand your concern about using govt. money. The problem everywhere is that any president will have an advantage over his challengers interms of coverage and state resources. The fact is that RB was acting as president and he is supposed to be provided with state resources under the law regardless of where is going- assumption is that it’s govt. trip. The onus is on the opposition-The opposition should have taken this into a/c when deciding to split votes. They have shown very poor judgement by not doing this simple task-UNITING!
No.756 US politics and Presidential elections are not corruption free, neither are they true examples of democracy in its purest form. How much money does one need to raise in the US just to get to the starting line up? And how many strings are attached to a potential presidential candidate and to the president himself once elected by large corporations and special interest groups? Let us not deceive ourselves, all these issues are faced right across the globe. Ever wondered why government support for local industries is called a socialist subsidy in Africa but only “an incentive” in industrialised countries?
#755 You will develop a headache trying to explain to some of these guys on the site. they have not been to Lumwana. they dont know that it is one of the largest undeveloped copper deposits in Africa and its being developed and most of the workers their have been employed using lists from the villages submitted by chiefs! they are being trained and paid well! and the mine has built very nice houses which employees have been given and will buy after some years at a reduced price.. and the mine is negotiating to have them exempt from paying ground rates! the economy there is booming! and Solwezi has benefited economically too how do you vote? PF or MMD? And you must be cursed for voting?
Lets wait till the last count it might change Sata might still win.I pray.
Truly Jah never ever fail for Sata is a proven tyrant whose political career has finally ended. The Mighty Counquering Lion of Judah was not going to lead Jah people to more suffering thru’ Sata’s thuggery. RB is definetly the lesser evil compared to Sata. HH lacks the persona and poltical talent to persuade people to vote for him. After the next 3 years, I am sure we will have a better choice. Don’t lose hope Zambians; The race is not just for the swift but those who can endure. Come 2011 we will stand and fight again. Rastafari Bless!
#756, you concerns are important and this is why president Hakainde Hichilema is participating in the NCC. The botton line is that we need a Zambia Republican Constitution that will broke all use of GRZ resources fro campaigns even if you are a Zambian President or some Veep who inherites Presidential powers in an even of died or medical incapacitation of the incumbent Zambian President.
In general, I believe that Zambia as a Nation has a perfect opportunity to mend or repair our week Constitution to tailor it to the needs of the 21st Century for once. It is eaither we do this now or we will continue crying come 2011. Think on these things fellow Country men and wome.
#757. pdx thinktank
You are funny! These leaders ours have just reduced themselves to that level! How do you bring in image builders and expect people to respect you? And he claims to be a graduate? Education has done little to RB!
Zambia has potential for developing, but if the reasoning of our people is like yours, then we are heading nowhere! You have all what it takes to reach your tangible dreams! Personal conviction and belief is a key, so don’t intoxicate people that we can not develop as a Country because you’ll convince no one!
# 762, WALASA,
Geologist i am not permanently based in the states . be back soon by December of January. using state resources by the President to campaign is legal in Zambia, the president or acting President like RB even the Veep is allowed to use those facilities and he is not restricted as to how many people he can give a lift to on the plane or Chopper! So when sata says he does not want the NCC this is what he does not want changed. Do you balme anyone?
Correction! I meant,” Leaders of ours”
#751…My point is that Sata’s issue is more of personality/tribe than strategy. By the way Zambian politics are fought strikingly on tribal lines there are certain tribes that just wont go into vote for another tribe. A man who get the city vote is more likely the one running on issues that are common to all people regardless of their tribe because the cities in terms of ethnicity are heterogeneous. The power brokers in rural areas are chief related families and they jostle for advancement. In a poverty stricken environment like ours advancement ends with a job so if there are Kaonde’s with jobs in the MMD government their relatives in the village will vote for their party.
#762. Rural people are not to blame for the outcome. SATA is one guy who was part of the MMD until LPM took over. Am not sure if i would have voted for him with what he did under FTJ – not forgeting the 3rd term bid and violence at Mulungushi during the MMD convention. Actually the rural people have voted wisely in my view.
#771, big ups.
In the light of my 770 comment there are no friends that Sata can make beyond his current scope of influence. Therefore his is a problem unrelated to strategy rather the position of being opposition there is an inherent handicap in terms of breaking into unrelated rural power brokers who have already been enlisted by the people in power. Opposition is interpreted as diabolic and dissension could lead to unemployment. so what we have in Zambia are politics of self interest and since the self interest at best is an escape from poverty. what we have are politics of poverty. And Sata if his ambitions are sincere then he is a victim of circumstances.
#762.Waziona!
The happenings in Lumwana are good, those homes are supposed to be there because you can’t have people working without houses! Do you think Mine houses on the copperbelt were built for nothing? Production in the Mines requires that you be on site, just as it’s to be on an oil rig like!
Equinox were forced to build houses and a plant as those are a must? What is important is to ultilize the resources from the Mines to develop the Country, because in future your children and mine will curse us for being careless with GOD given resources! Infact, when you have a peaceful, investors will always come, even in war torne coutries like DRC, there are investors building houses!
Rural people have voted according to what they have seen. take Shangombo and Chadiza. these are areas that have received new good hospital structures they may not be complete.. take Chembe the bridge, Chavuma as late as 2005 had no power but levy took power there and for the first time in history they could use Zain cellphones, before that any comunication was done by travelling to Zambezi. and i cant exactly remember the other three ditricts that last year got power as they were connected to the malawi mozambique grid. Its not all about getting sugar or chitenge and voting people in the villages saw some development and went for it! a bird in hands is worth two in the bush (HH & Sata)
All these stories if rigging at nonsense, voter turnout was about 49 per cent and you want to talk of rigging.
For all those in Zambia, please take note neither Kitwe, Lusaka or Ndola constitute ZAMBIA. Call them corrupt villagers or whatever else you want, its only an opinion. I think all PF supporters are igoigos and ngwangwazi’s and that is also only an opinion.
Every vote counts and at the end of the day no matter how self important, educated, intelligent etc you think you are a vote is still A vote.
Nice chatting with you guys!
This blog is becoming better. I wish people would continue focusing more on issues affecting our country and not partizan line. Hope RB will unite the country and fight for the people’s needs! Jobs, Tax and roads should be urgently considered i think.
#766 Geologist Canada…. I think you are missing my point. The potential to develop could be there. But it is the possibility to develop that I doubt exists given the internal dynamics and external factors necessary for national survival in a global economy. If the possibility is there why are majority of the Zambian well educated professionals outside Zambia (probably including yourself) than inside Zambia. Don’t you think they have seen the light elsewhere..come on say Yes! stop giving empty encouragement to a dead-end situation
#777. Geologist, Canada. Take careful care always.
#778 RB has not capacity to develop Zambia. His relatives should be glad he has a job period. Who owns and runs Alan west and Robert Hudson on the Copperbelt? They are now just leftovers if he couldn’t run his own enterprise what gives hope he could run a nation with so many problems? dreaming is good but day dreaming is not beneficial!
#651 thankyou for correction, i was driving when i posted that. But ba #725 Ba peter Zoona bushe muliamano mufyo mwasosa?
Father Christmas, you wrote “Where is Mastro Ha Ha Ha?… Please come out Maestro. Father Christmas has got sweets for you… Ho Ho Ho. ”
I am here and I need the sweets. Father Chistmas, are you the only character who does not know that I am a Seventh Day Adventist Christian who believes in following the fully original Ten (10) Commandments of the good Lord God, our Creator?
Come on, I left a lot of postings indicating that I will only be available on saturday evening after the Holy Sabbath of God comes to an end at sunset (see Genesis 1:5 in the Holy Bible).

“Insabata mbuzuba bwa-Leza, tula boola kwiiya zya Jesu * 3
Tula boola kwiya zya Jesu * 4?
– SDA Church Zambian Tonga song.
Brothers and sisters, fellow countrymen and women, I am now going on a sabbath recess to worship God, my Creator. I will be live on here LT tomorrow to see what is happening. Otherwise, I leave you with a serious statement that please “reflect on the tribalism that Sata and MMD (Chiluba) brought to Zambia by accusing late Mazoka’s UPND to be Tonga tribal”. May you all be blessed and take careful care. “Be lazy to do any evil” – unknown.

@775 – yes, so-called ‘uneducated villagers’ voted for something tangible, unlike the intangible promises relied upon by the majority of rural dwellers who want to simplify the rural vote to chitenges and sugar, yet vote for an uneducated politician.
banda = dictator
anonymous=coward
Ok folks, we have done the easy bit and criticised those who have tried. What economic policies do we want the Government to pursue? How should these funded, on what terms, to what purpose and how do we measure success? What alliances should the country strengthen, which ones should be weakened? How do we ensure that foreign companies contribute to the economic plight of our people; how do we ensure that profits from foreign investments are not expatriated in their entirety; and how can we ensure that we retain future control over our natural resources? What should be the ten most important tasks for the next 12 months?
#785, pdx thinktank, you wrote “#783…Seventh day is Christian? how so?”
I am trying to find my fellow Zambian Citizen known as Father Christmas (FC). It appaers that the cahracter missed by indicating that I will not be blogging on the Holy Sabbath because I was off on worship services by obeying the good Lord God’s Ten Commandments. He (FC) was vehemently looking for me on here – LT – yeaterday, but has since disappeared today. I hope he had no heartattack following the aftermath of these election results.
I hope you have understood, #785.
RB has won anyhow there is nothing we can do. MMD is a life party they dont want anyone else to ever win elections in Zambia. Its predictable even 2011 it will be MMD.They are good at rigging.i just hope that RB will do some work.we expected this its not a suprise.
my opinion….RB has not capacity to develop Zambia. His relatives should be glad he has a job period. Who owns and runs Alan west and Robert Hudson on the Copperbelt? coward = boss man paying $2 / day to mine copper
#790 one is to reduce inflation and interest rates. ( not necessarily the most important but among the ten)
I have always been thinking about coming back home to stay but with results like this and rigging it shows that things will never change in Zambia. NO matter what effort one puts in there are always people to block devlopment.
I think i will just stay here forever.
Because this is a clear indication that no matter what effort i would put in in my country people willblock it. Whats the use.
I will just be coming for hoildays as i wil come next month.
PRESIDENT SAT IS IN VERY GOOD HEALTH. ALL RUMOURS ABOUT HIS HEALTH ARE FALSE. HE ACTUALLY WON THE ELECTIONS BUT MMD SPENT ALL ITS EFFORTS ON RIGGING THE RESULTS INCLUDING CHANGING THE RECORDED RESULTS ELECTRONICALLY. WE IN PF HAVE CONCRETE EVIDENCE AND WE WILL PROVE IT IN THE COMING WEEKS.
I AM ASHAMED TO BE ZAMBIAN BECAUSE OF THE CORRUPT RIGGING OF EECTIONS WHICH SOME OF YOU DO NOT SEEM TO MIND! IGNORANCE ON A WIDE SCALE!
FACT – THE HELICOPTER AND FIXED WING PLANE HIRED BY PF WAS PAID FOR BY THOSE OF US IN PF WHO CAN AFFORD IT. I AM A ZAMBIAN RESIDENT IN THE UK AND WELL OFF ENOUGH TO PAY FOR THE PLANES. SO, BE ASSURED PRESIDENT SATA HAS NO DEBTS.
#796 enjoy your stay abroad. you are welcome when you want to visit. As for the Zambians they will vote the way they want. Do you mean Sata is development? just asking?
#797 Good effort. Is it possible for you guys to pay for the convention as well?
@ Trigo – as many have pointed out, no one was blocked from anything in these elections. The opposition failed to unite and thus beat the ruling party. Don’t give up hope. Many of us are looking towards 2011, when we will hopefully have some younger, more viable candidates to reverse the rampant voter apathy that has characterised this election. Whatever anyone says, Sata is in the same boat as Rupiah – he garnered just under 690, 000 votes in the whole of Zambia. That does not reflect the will of the majority at all.
Whether HH and SATA come together or not Rigging will always be there MMD will use a strategy to make there candidate win. VJ will always be there to do the job thats why he came back from South Africa, he has possibly taught others to continue.
(No. 797) It must have been an incredibly accurate and well calibrated rigging operation to fine tune hundreds of thousands of votes into a carefully choreographed sequence of results announcements leading up to a pre determined small winning margin. I personally look forward to hearing and studying the evidence that PF will put forward. I am sure other African countries will also be very keen to learn how MMD managed to achieve this under the noses on International election observers, who have so far declared the elections to have been transparent and relatively free and fair.
Whether yu like it or not we are back to UNIP Days. Kaunda should be celebrating!! UNIP supported MMD. Banda has the leverage and KK should be smiling. I wondewr what is wrong with my fellow Zambian voters. Both SATA and Banda have UNIP mentality because they saved under Kaunda!! The only person who could hve brought real change is HH!! Unfortunately, it looks like voters do not think rationally before casting their votes.
In my opinion, what is killing Zambian politics is tribalism and regionalism!! Look how Luapula, Northernn and Copperbelt Provinces voted for SATA. Eastern for Banda and Southern for HH!! Something has to be done. NGOS to sensitizing people about voting sensibly!
Lets now be watching the exchange rate to see wether it will improve. And see whether RB will continue with Levy’s work.
@ Jaroph – one of the most pressing issues is the enactment of a new constitution. Otherwise we will continue to undergo such costly formalities (i.e. elections) in order to uphold the law, even when there is no realistic chance of the incumbent government losing.
The government has to place stricter standards for investors, who, although they may blackmail us into thinking they can always take their investment somewhere else, really have nowhere else to go. They can at least demand better employment conditions for their employees.
Imwe about rigging where , were the monitors or do you call them agents that sign before the counts are posted outside the polling station? anyway like others say it would be interesting to know exactly how the rigging was done as the case goes to court.
@#803 – KK supported HH in the last election. Had he won, would you have made the claim that UPND was UNIP?
KK mediated the merger talks between HH and Sata do we still call UPND UNIP
@Citizen at least you have given me some hope i will look forward to 2011. But the thing is i suspect MMD will still win as history keeps onm repeating itself. And why do they always win in the last minute,Why do they mention their strong hold in the last minute too. These election were predictable i had even mention two days ago and it has happened the same way?It all brings about questions.
Lets waitng for these long three years. Lets see what happens in 2011 even though we already know the result.
I agree with citizen. Whats more I think it is about time we starting getting these firms to contribute to the Zambian education system. Getting people educated and competing in the international skills market has produced wonders for India as firms relocated to take advantage of thier educated work force. Zambia should have Engineering and IT centres of excellent that support the activities of foreign firms and investments. To achieve this we need a well thought out and viable 10 year education that will place our current grade 1 students at the fore front of a Zambian education revolution. We have the intelligence in towns and villages alike, we just lack vision, funding and support.

no wonder banda closed the border , then the opposition cannot get any help in overthrowing a corrupt dictator taking money from the slave labour of his own people ….YUK ! yOU HAVE SOME OF THE RICHEST DEPOSITS IN THE WORLD AND THE WORKERS ARE PAID $2 per day , that is a disgrace beyond belief and current leadership should be terminated ……. banda oversees the whole operation of cheap mineral extraction and he likes it because he gets big $$$$ FROM THE COMPANIES . HOW CAN PEOPLE NOT SEE THIS ?? THE SAME CRAP IS HAPPENING ACROSS YOUR BORDER IN DR CONGO .
Sata Chinsigwa chebolo
@Taigo – MMD strongholds are in the rural areas, which due to a lack of efficient telecommunications, transport etc, inevitably are reported last. I think your focus is on the wrong reasons – MMD won on the rural vote, simply because they campaigned better rurally, and also because they have been able to bring albeit minimal development to some rural areas. You only need to look at the combined vote of PF and UPND to realise this – so the allegations of rigging do not bear much weight. I felt like you at one point, but I see our country going in a positive direction – let’s just get a new constitution in place, and this old crop of politicians retired 😉
Anoymous – Zambia is a peaceful nation, and we want to keep it that way. We are also a patient nation. Terminations and civil war are not means we resort to for resolving differences, although we have often helped others who have fallen into the trap of believing that blood shed can replace dialogue. The methods you seem to advocate have no place here – others have already indicated the same. Perhaps you are just playing devils advocate – would be more more useful to be constructive.
Jaroph, this is actually already happening to a small extent. A cousin of mine works at the new KCM smelter, one of the first in the world, and he and his colleagues were trained how to operate it by Indian investors. What I do appreciate about Chinese and Indian investors as opposed to their Western counterparts, is their focus on training employees in the countries in which they invest. This is more evident in other African countries, so perhaps Zambia needs to demand more from them in that respect.
If there was a way, ngalikalila when you wre a baby. Ulibmwa.Just conceed defeat.
Citize: This why I am grateful that Mr. Sata is not in office. Although his views do have elements of truth, he seems to lack the diplomatic skills of a true statesman when making his arguments. His tongue would have alienated our International trading partners, not to mention donor countries. I do not care which party produces a leader as long as one materialises by 2011. None of the current crop are the leaders we crave but the nation can rest easy with RB for 2 years, even if he only delivers a dormant period for reflection, re-building and preparation for our future leader – whoever that might turn out to be!
JAROPH, ALL THAT NEEDS TO BE DONE IS PAY THE WORKERS PROPERLY . Forget about IT jobs , china and india graduate enough of those to cover the world 10x over . Just pay the damn workers properly in the existing mines , dont give me this future education BS that you use to keep the status qou . I smell a rat .
#803 you have a point, but that will be a waste of time and resources. You can sensitize until you sensitize them no more. You surely can removed someone from Shangombo, but can never remove Shangombo from his head. Balekenifye.
First of all, Bravo ba ECZ. Ofcourse you could’nt deliver a 100% performance but i’ll rate you at 95% due to the limited time you had. Job well done!!
To Ba PF and UPND, you deserve it coz you knew that you are weak and could’nt have made it as single parties. Your GREED for power has costed both of you. Being in power doesn’t neccessarly means you all should be presdnts. This has costed you. But now looking at the votes obtained by you guys put together, you could have been celebrating. Do the same in 2011, then you wont even have to stand coz ur marely wasting your money.
Remember the popular adage, Divided we fall. United we stand. You guys have fallen due to greed.
#747Waziona you can now proceed with your convention.Africa is not ready for illussions
Anonymous- our country will never progress to any meaningful extent if we do not think ahead, and work on educating our population. Prof. Chirwa pointed out recently that a country of 12 million cannot afford to fail 4000 out of 5000 grade 7 pupils – what the heck are 11 year olds supposed to do? If Britain had that policy, Tony Blair would never have been prime minister after failing his 11+ exams. Sata had highlighted some of the most pressing issues we have to tackle as a country, but I highly doubt that he is the best person to do so – we need not only educated leadership, but also leaders that have been exposed to new ideas and the developments of other progressive nations.
Anonymous: I suggest you look at the economic achievements of Japan, India, Malaysia, Botswana, Ireland among others. True progress is achieved by developing a skill base that can support economic growth. Well paid human beings in mining can always be replaced by cheaper machines in the long term. So although paying people well is a priority, ensuring that we invest in education and technological skills for the future is a bigger priority. By the way have you idea how much Zanaco employees are paid? I think you should be smelling more than a rat.
823.Citizen waziona was told about this but he decided to ignore.Sata might be wise but he doesnt seem to be intelligent or team player to me.He is catholic and i have sympathy for him
Hey Jaroph, we should run for presidency in 2011. What do you think? 🙂
Sata should just concede defeat. He seems to be tryin to create chaos in the country. Whether or not we like the final outcome of the elections we just have to accept the outcome in a civilised manner. The Judge has handled the elections well and we should hve confidence in her. Why is Sata now trying to create confusion, thereby putting the security of Zambia at risk? Is his ego more important than the well being of the nation? We have always enjoyed peace, please let us continue to do so.
PRE -ELECTION POLL : SATA 40 % , BANDA 29 % ………. that about tells the story my fine feathered rigging machines .
The way hh was bruised by the old men is really sad, let him retire from politics. He is an embarasment to the young generation.Lyamula ngina
Ndaakona lino basa. Ndiya kulibonya kuzyopamaanza kulibaboobatika zunde. Aabo batikazyundwe ndizi kubapa imajwi aabeledde. Mupone cibotu no bantu a cisi cesu toonse tobana Zambia.
If Sata had won there is no way that he would be complaining about rigging. This behaviour just shows the character of the man.
Iwe chi #813 ule kwatako umuchinshi.Sata is right! The elections were rigged.MMD+VJ are best known for that game.
PT , he showed his deep concern two days ago before the vote was counted
#830 Maestro Hhehhehhehhe hh has reduced upnd to number makers.Let him retire after all he has no money
Now HH should know what it takes to be a president.if you only have supporters from your choma you will again fell in 2011.there is alot to be done.i am sure HH has no strategists, researchers and good advisers.if he has then they are headless chicks.same to General Miyanda,Nevers who think they are popular but are not in reality.
bandaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Bandaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Sata, you left the Presidential oppotunity when you and Guy Scott walked away from the talks at Kaunda’s Kabulonga house. So, please don’t destroy our country because you are so selfish greed. Now this is the end of you. To the PF members I say, It is time to choose someone else who can make progress. The debt now remains with you Mr Sata for those chopper rides around the country. Thank God you did not win and sell the country to your sponsors.
A is the first letter of the alphabet
#682 – WHEN WILL YOU ACCEPT THAT SATA IS MUCH MORE POPULAR THAN HH? HE MAY NOT HAVE HH’S FORMAL EDUCATION BUT HE IS THE PEOPLE’S CHOICE. JUST ACCEPT THIS.
this 2011 issue is not making sense to me becoz RB will still stand and win with the same margin. Do you guys honestly think RB would want to taste the GOODIES for only three years…….you are cheating yourselves.
maybe 2016…LONG WAIT ZAMBIA..ALL THE BEST
SATA IS NOT FIT TO LEAD ZAMBIA…THAT GUY IS ILLITRATE…GRADE 7 FAILURE,FORMER POLICE COPRAL, NO RANK AND HE WAS DECLARED REDUNDANT IN THE MINES….VIVA KK
Since we talk too much on this blog I have a plan. All the main bloggers are forming a party to participate in 2011 polls and the following will be some of the members of the shadow cabinet: Janjaweed(Agriculture), Anonymous(defence), Maestro hhehhehhe(cadre mobilization), Waziona(Finance), Trigoh(Commerce), Shimaster(Vice Presido), Miss Pretty (gender, women and gays), Uchipo(trade and salaula), CHOMA1(Foreign affairs), Trigo (Cops and kaponya control). I will be chief of staff at State House. We have to look for a Presido. More to be identified.
IWE CHI COLOUR # 844 WHAT ABOUT ME…AM THE OLDEST BLOGGER ON LT
I THINK SATA IS THE ONE WHO RIGED THE ELECTIONS….HE DIDNT WANT TO WIN…HE WAS SHOWING HIS KAPONYA CHARACTER ALL OVER ZAMBIA DURING CAMPAIGN….SO WHATS THE NOISE FOR WHEN HE IS THE ONE WHO TURNED SOME VOTERS OFF
PLEASE PEOPLE STOP THIS 2011 TALK PLEEEEEEEEEEESE..TALK ABOUT 2016 BECAUSE RB HAS PLANS TO STAND IN 2011…..SO TALK ABOUT 2016.
hey Lamise whats up….
#797 Well said fellow counterpart of PF, thats why we will stay abroad as long as we have people like abena Banda ruling!!! We will come back to Zambia when Sata is President
Can someone tell me what kind of first lady that wife of Banda is gonna be? A first lady to children? Coz she is an under 20, married to a sugar-daddy
Zambians open your eyes. Sata stop looking too much on major cities. Mwaanga knew where the loop hole still existed. In the rural, there were no vigilance among people. It was easy during registration to register gost voters and then use them to proper up MMD’s votes and do it at last so that there’s no time to catch up. These are called boxing tactics. Wait for Sata to exhaust his momentum and then release your NPP (kaingo’s punch). Ali used it on Forman. Mwaanga is very good at such tactics. What Sata needs to check is what percentage of turn out was in those rurals, and then look at the electro register to see if really there were such number of real persons. Miyanda was a paid.
P.F(Poor Finish) hahahaha
mwikalila mwalibelela ubucushi.let the buwaz enjoy in zambia
Lets pray that by 2011, VJ will be gone
Congratulations to PF for having given the MMD’s corrupt party a good run for their money. But for me there is no pain because I see no difference between MMD and PF. Mr sata originated from MMD where he played the game of trickery on the Zambian people for long. I wish HH had won though. He could have brought something new.
those celebrating continue cerebrating, those who have lost too bad.there is time for everything in life.we are all zambians. in any election there is always a winner and a looser. 2011 is comming lets start preparing ourselves from today on wards.Remember Zambians should not be taken for granted, the way people casted their votes in urban areas and rural areas should teach those in power a lesson,
the opposition should also learn something. if you had a low voter turnout, please revist your strategies.Congrats to MMD, to UPND and PF you can still make it in 2011.May Jehovah give you courage to endure this!!!
VIVA RB.ASASH TITANIC.WOO
Sata believed too much in the hype created by the Post newspaper and the Lusaka Times. The fact that he allowed himself to be used by the Post in the fight between mmembe and RB meant that he abondoned his original strategy of quietly appealing to real voters. In order to spite RB, the Post started flashing sata’s rallies, making everyone (including Sata) believe that sata was the most popular candidate. What the post neglected to tell pipo was that even HH and RB where attracting similar crowds at their rallies. The POST-induced hype also made many anti-sata voters cast their vote; result RB managed to get 35% in sata’s urban stronghold while Sata got 4% in MMD stronghold
Sata, pleaser next time be ware of the CURSE-OF-THE-POST; this curse managed to bring Magande down, it managed to alianate Maureen Mwanawasa from the people of zambia at the time she was mourning her husband. And now it has led to your downfall. Somehow I do not believe there is such a thing as “fourth-time-lucky”, but anyway lets see what 2011 has in store for you. Word of caution; wise people learn from their mistakes. Sata, you chose not to learn from your 2006 mistake. Too late to cry foul now
No need to cry over spilt milk. Our focus should be for 2011. Calling the provinces that voted for MMD names wont help, they were just expressing their rights just as rights were expressed in 2001 when the other provinces voted for MMD and UPND lost.
As for the postnewspaper- shame on you! you have stoppped digging deeper and are now scratching for news.
The biggest loser of this election (aside from Sata!!) is the POST newspaper. Somehow I fail to see how mmembe and his team will ever be able to recover from the damage this election has done to their integrity as an objective newspaper. Shame
the chinese mining companies are loving your rigged election , more cheap access to metals
As far as I am concerned, Sata or Banda will not make any qualitative difference in the governance of Zambia as these two gentlemen are firmly welded into the bosom of the West. All those crying out for Sata victory must just wake up and smell the coffee. These two gentlemen are in the same kraal and there will not be any policy shifts from where Zambia finds itself..embedded into enslavement policies and their neo-liberal self-killing governance practices. Shame on all Zambian political leaders for being unable to define the nation-building alliances.
well said Sarah
PF lost because of poor ECZ preparations and resources which increased chances of rigging, most of you here don’t know exactly what really was happening on the ground, i seriously doubt ECZ knows the extent to which the ballot boxes where exposed to rigging. Some will lift their loud mouths with heads in their small smelly butts and claim these where fare elections, you would be dead shocked at what actually happened in cases of transportation of the ballot papers and what security was offered, and where they were the night before the voting and what state they where in upon reaching the polling stations… Free and fare what a sick stinking pathetic joke.. Shameful
….for real….zambia has come to an end…rupiah cant be our president….sat RETALIATE!!!
MMD has won with almost 30.000 votes… Guess what.. 30.000 filled in ballot papers were found in a bus in Northern Province. Who can garantee us that not more of these boxes were spread over the country? One box could have made the difference….
#834, Choma1, I have understood your standpoint but give HH a chance and see how he will tranform his numbers in 2011, if him and you will all be there then.
Take care and all the very best.
#844, VJ Jnr. You wrote “Since we talk too much on this blog I have a plan. I must make mention that I like your propoasala and let us see how it shall work. I hope it (SC) is tribally balanced.
@849 Nine PF – regardless of who is president, we must all do you part to help Zambia – put country before party. You are simply perpetuating the same partisan/ tribalistic approach that cost your preferred candidate the election. Zambia is more than one man, and it is larger than 4 provinces. He only managed to garner just under 700, 000 votes out of a population of 12 million – that’s indication enough that not the whole country is behind him. If you want him to win, go home and cast your vote next time, as every person in Zambia has a constitutional right to do. No one owes you their vote.
Our day is yet to come! the time for our generation to rule is miles away. I just glad that sata lost. As for RB i have no trouble with him ruling us. RB had retired from active politics, the late LPM is the one that brought him back. In life there are times when opportunity or fate seeks you out? This was simply RB’s turn to rule and i wish him well. I hope that 2011 shall bring yet another exciting era in our history as we bid farewell to the MMD. Guys it is our turn to rule our generation…let us step up and challenge these old selfish midalas. Peace and love to you all…!
Tonga Bull – I agree. What UPND needs to do is field more prominent figures from other tribes to garner up more nation-wide support. The only candidate with any real potential to change anything is HH, but many will cast their vote elsewhere simply to keep the more extremist candidate out of power. If you manage to get Clive Chirwa on your ticket, I’ll vote proudly for UPND. Hopefully Sata can take a backseat and enable one strong opposition party to rise against MMD. That’s the only way they can be beaten. Vote for Prof. Chirwa, 2011! In the meantime, well done RB. Prove the critics wrong.
SATA SHOULD CONCEDE DEFEAT,HAD HE FORMED AN ALLIANCE WITH UPND HE COULD HAVE WON WITH RELATIVE EASE.
Akulu Mphuno should learn now to implement some of the programmes which the opposition were articulating during the campaign period. Among other things are: increase salaries for civil servants, sort out the acccomodation issue for the civil servants, give low interest mortgage loans to all civil servants, sort transport issues for the civil servants, if these issues are not addressed, come 2011, akulu mphuno will be shown a red card. Viva umodzi ku m;mawa.
VJ MUST DIE JUST AS HE HAS KILLED OUR BELOVED ZAMBIA.
BY THE WAY,WHERE ARE THE SOLDIERS OF THIS NATION. MAY BE WE SHOULD JUST GO MILITARY NOW. I BELIEVEIT IS BETTER HAN BEING RULED BY RB
Guys let’s get this rigging crap out of the way. Some people seem to be pathological liars even in defeat. The results released by ECZ show that in Eastern province the highest turnout was 51.69% in Chama South, and the lowest was 34.09% in Chipangali. These results were signed for by party representatives. Where does one party president get his 75% turn out?
Congrats RB, let’s get on with serious business. The country has no time to waste.
MR. SATA DID EXTREMELY WELL UNDER THE CIRCUMSTANCES. RUPIAH WITH ALL THE RESOURCES HE HAD WAS NO MATCH FOR THE COBRA. LONG LIVE THE KING, MAN OF ACTION! WHAT HE HAS DONE IS NO MEAN ACHIEVEMNET. IT SHOWS HOW GREAT THE MAN IS AND WHAT HE COULD HAVE DONE FOR THE COUNTRY. HE IS A WORKAHOLIC AND MASTER STRATEGIST.
plz ba tata u have to reveal wat u know!!!!!SOON!!!!!!!
TIMES OF ZAMBIA. November 1, 2008
A PRESIDING officer at the counting centre in Lusaka’s Munali constituency was yesterday battered before being handed over to the police after he was found cutting the seals of two ballot boxes.
Geoffrey Malwita, the presiding officer for Mikomfwa Polling Station in Kaunda Square, which is under Munali Constituency, was found tampering with two ballot boxes by a female police officer who alerted polling agents and monitors.
The party agents then descend on him and beat him up as police officers looked on as they were outnumbered.
sata come up with solid evidence of rigging to present so we prove the election was rigged hh and sata do not concede defeat until proven otherwise
I am sorry to say that there is a high level of immaturity from some bloggers. Surely, I wonder why you can’t see that our electoral process is criminally flawed. It is common sense that almost all districts in Zambia are communicationally connected. Why does it days for the results to be announced? As long as we have political criminals in the names VJ, Chitala, and others, we will continue on this path until we get to the Kenya situation.
mama c
Zambia twalisebana lelo tatwakalabe. MMd in Power again thru corrupted rural votes. atase, I’m an engineer now i’m going out of zambia to look for a well paying Job and I know Ai will get it. I have been patriotic enough but it seems the rural folks will be determining our destiny.
Zambia shalapo Naya. It is my desire to leave. nothing will improve here, I also blame HH. Tonga’s where he is a force kindly force him to see sense, he should bhave backed sata and become Prime minister. this way could have sold himself. Now Never ever shall he ever rule.
Surely, the Chinese Investors in Zambia have every reason to celebrate RBs victory as reported in todays’ postnewspaper. I was talking to a friend who is in China for further studies, he told me that the Chinese government was ready to send most Zambians studying in China back home as soon as SATA was announced winner for the presidential elections. Just imagine how much trouble SATA would have caused in this country and at international level had he won this years’ presidential election? Viva RB, umodzi kumawa.
Well we jst have to endure another three years of MMD in power. One thing i know is that things will only get worse from were Levy left.
Sore losers. How did the riggers get passed all that vigilance I wonder? PF President and his minions must get over themselves.
what about if RB died now , then we would still held another by election were everybody would rejister and vote . option number one .
FOR THOSE WHO ARE CLAIMING TAHT THE ELECTIONS HAVE NOT BEEN RIGGED MAY I REMIND THEM THAT JST BECAUSE THE POLLING DAY WAS PEACEFUL DOES NOT MAKE THE ELECTION FREE & FAIR.
FROM THE DAY CAMPAIGNS STARTED MMD HAS BEEN ENGAGING IN ALL SORT OF POLICAL MASTERBATION AND ELECTRAL FRAUD & CORRRUPTION.
LET ME REMIND THE MMD THAT THEY CANNOT ALWAYS SURPRASE THE WILL OF PIPO THROUGH THREATS AND INTIMIDATION. ONE DAY THE PIPO WILL RISE UP AND NOT EVEN THE ARMY WILL STOP THE PIPO.
And why should i keep on voting when i know that villagers one way or the other will decide who goes to state house!
Voting has now become jst an academic exercise.
The election were not free and fair, however if any opposition wins in 2011 the ECZ needs to be disolved it seems these guys are MMD caders, they have been bought at the expence of many Zambians who need change. Any as the bible say “there is time for everything” one day time will come for them to pay for all this.
THE END OF SATA AND PF, MAMA MIA!
NOW YOU BELIEVE ME,SOMEONE SUNK IN A BOAT!
SATA SHOULD BEHAVE, BEFORE HE’S THROWN MUNDENDE
pLease opposition in the next election please come together thats the only way MMD will leave
I have always said that Sata will never, never rule this country. He will die an opposition leader because thats where he belongs. He is leading a batch of poor finishers
No more Sata, come 2011 HH for plot 1
Pa bwatoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Pa bwatoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
Please help. Am drowning mubwato.
I told you my country men that the boat had several holes punctured by Sata’s MPs.
Te apa you have sank to the deep.
No recovery means.
No burrial.
Is is mourning every where in Kabwata, Marapodi, Mutendere, Sikanze Camp etc.
Funeral fires every where.
Viva RBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB
Yaba MMD at it again.
Ine naleka kuvota manje. i will never vote in my life again coz it seems mmd will never leave power..wa is the essence of standing in those queues for nothing…
it seems only God can remove MMD from power…Navileka vima Vote
IT IS A PITY THAT SOME VILLAGERS ARE DETERMINIG OUR FUTURE , PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT OBJECTIVE , JUST BECAUSE OF SUGAR AND SALT THEY HAVE SOLD THE COUNTRY TO WRONG PEOPLE MAY GOD DELIEVER THEM . ALL THOSE WHO RIGGED THE ELECTIONS IF THEY DO NOT REPENT THE HAND OF GOD WILL BE ON THEM
Retirement ya nunkila..when leading you didn’t cry foul. Just accept defaet and shut the @$%? up!
Can you reset this webpage to bring last message first.
902. your suggestion makes a lot of sense. can LT reset this page to read the last message first??
next time give vj all the ballot papers to fill in from his home. i just hope he will be around as for us no more participating in predetermined elections
There was no rigging.
#900 – We are not villagers. We are the best of the breed Zambians who voted for RB. We know what we are doing and believe it or not, it’s good. Good for you and for every Zambian.
Just bcoz objective so-called villagers helped us achieve what we wanted does not make us bad. We call this democracy. Most right-thinking organisations and people of impeccable character endorsed RB. Only the Nakawalas, GBM, and the other crooks/kaponyas endorsed PF. There is is a reason for it and believe me, it’s bad.
I ask one question, if Sata represents the voice of the poor, which poor? Villagers did not vote for him.
Sata represents himself and any person with a warped state of mind. You have to refuse the voice of reason to appreciate Sata. How can he complain a matter of rigging to the press and not to ECZ? In the meantime he continues to insult the same press and monitors he wants support from? How does his brain work? Just bcoz his supporters dont mind being insulted (since they are who he says they are anyway) doesnt mean that others do.
VJ doesnt
Its Venon Mwanga
I am happy RB won.
Next stop: UPND no HP no UPND no HP no UPND… I can only work with Poor Finishers(PF) if Sata isn’t there. But again, PF without Sata is nothing.
Also, it make me support Nakawala!!! She was my pain-point in supporting MMD. Now that she’s left MMD, I will go for MMD until I join UPND or HP. Can someone please convince me…
LT WHATS HAPPENING TO MY COMMENTS.
There is no professionalism in ECZ only loyalt to the masters.
HH and Sata should bot retire. HH simply has no support outside his tribal base. MMD even swept formerly UPND areas in Central, North Western and Eastern. HH should transform himself into the real technocrat he claims to be and leave that tribal baggage behind him. If he and Sata had come to a deal MMD would hav e conceded on the first day of counting !!!!
At 79 constituencies these were the results
PF 502,262 46%
MMD 375,869 34%
UPND 199,568 18%
HP 8,729 1%
Void 3,767 0%
If you add UPND, PF and HP together, this almost Rupiah’s winning total. So as far as I am concerned the opposition just gave away these elections on a silver plate. HH should stick accounting and consultancy. Not politics. He is still a novice.
Did I hear Sata complain about rigging? Is that not the legacy he left for MMD? Sata, Chiluba and VJ introduced rigging to Zambian politics which Sata is conveniently forgetting yet he would have happily rigged if he had the key tools: ECZ and “shushushu” which he left in the hands of VJ. Mr Sata, it is pay back time, taste your own medicine. Congrats VJ, I hope Nyama Soya will reward and appoint you as our new VP, instead of Sakwiba, Nervous, Edith or Tilyenji, etc and other pretenders. ABASH THEM PRETENDERS TO THE THRONE
Rupiah’s winning total 718,359. Opposition after 79 constituencies 710,559. So this election could have been over by midnight on the first day of counting. HH, Sata wake up.
If De Klerk and Mandela could come to a deal why can’t you ?
LOOSING FOR THE THIRD TIME.WHAT AN EMBARRASSMENT.CHI MUDALA JUST RETIRE YOUR TIME IS UP.
Sata your dreams has come to the END.
You will never ever rule Zed, if you had listened from the advise from KK to join hands with HH.
Now you have lost and stopped cheating.
Viva H H will keep supporting you
The MMD has done it again.Opposition leaders have to realise that it will be next to impossible to win presidential elections when there are so many candidates standing. It works to the advantage of the party in power.
Some of the opposition parties contest the election solely for the purpose of distributing votes.
Mr. Sata was meant not be president. So far he has lost 4 elections in his quest for that seat. First Levy beat him in MMD to be MMD presidential candidate. When he lost the MMB NEC vote , he left MMD and formed PF. Then he lost twice to levy 2001 and 2006 . And now he has lost to Banda. If he has elections in PF he would probably lose too. Let him have elections in PF . They are long overdue – since 2001. He could win something!!!
Ba mudala ba sata, its been a clean game.Rigging could have been an issue if you were not represented at each and every polling station.Pipo in the rural areas were attending your rallies for the sake of seeing the man called SATA.Crowds at rallies are deceiving.Start visiting Shangombo so that come 2011 they can give you their DEADLY VOTE.However, sad you will be called Ba Shikulu!!
Agree with you ‘Uncle Phi’. Time is up for the PF!! Sata is too tired to lead this country. He should retire and rest for the sake of his ailing heart. What we need to do now is to look ahead and work together as a nation. President Banda is not against HH & Sata. He only emerged winner due to the support of the MMD. The loss of Sata & HH does not make them demons. If anything, Banda has stretched an ‘olive’ branch to his friends. So, if the realy meant to work for this country, it should be seen by the criticism they will offer (Constructive and not destructive).
Sata knows too well he cannot win elections. Ever wondered why he has never had elections within his party PF since 2001 . He knows he probably lose there also. As I see it , we should probably not spend so much time on him
Maestro (870) and (844) I putting myself to be you president. How about that? Hey, this is just for laughs. (lol). Politics aint my thing! It is dirty alright. I need my ticket to heaven. Wouldn’t want to lose it for anything in the world – the presidency, riches – not even a handsome maestro he he he! Now I am really lol!!
I hope RB get to do serious work. Not cheap politicking like appointing Chitala , Akashambatwa , Tetamashimba and similar characters . He should ignore all those job seekers and work with a serious agenda. Otherwise we will throw him in the “dustbin” like we have with FTJ. An old adage goes “A good name is better than millions in the bank “
Princess-y (924) drop liae to [email protected] for some tips that you need
Hey Uncle Phil, are you really uncle? And you do sound familiar? …And the tips, are they just for my ears then?
The end of the erro. Mr Sata gave opposition a backbone. the rest can follow and build on that foundation. BUT being President is not for everyone. Some are not given to be Presidents and SATA is a classic example of that.
The end of the era. Mr Sata gave opposition a backbone. the rest can follow and build on that foundation. BUT being President is not for everyone. Some are not given to be Presidents and SATA is a classic example of that.
This is the end of the SATA era, we need new blood to build on what the mudala has pushed so far.
PF next time build a flipping bigger boat that wont sink. i keep on saying, PF is like the titanic… all flashy looking but aint going nowhere 🙂 🙂 🙂
Come 2011, people will not go and vote, reason being that, the out come does not always reflect the wishes of the people.People were found with marked ballot papers n nothing was done, other polling agents were beaten by the police because they had refused to count extra ballot boxes that were brought to the polling station. After they have finished counting the votes at the polling station. These are the election you calling to be Free and fair. Are we in one party state or is it that the oppositon has got no capaccity, to the contray. Democracy is one sided. People are being intimided all the way. continue on the next pager please
Please blogers of LT be rational and realistic this is the reason why Zambia will never develop in any way. 1991, the massage was poverty reduction, 1996, 2001, 2006, 2008, 2011, 2016, 2021 sam massage our children will find the sme massage.
MY HUMBLE APPEAL TO PF AND UPND PLEASE FOR THE SEEK OF OUR CHILDREN, FORM A PACT IN 2011 AND REMOVED MWADYA MWEKA DAD, THIS IS THE ONLY WORKABLE WAY WE CAN REMOVE THIS FOREVER PARTY AND LOOK ON NEW IDEALS.
OTHER THAN THIS WE ARE NOTHING BUT JUST VOTER FOR THE SEEK OF AN ELECTIONS NOTHING WILL BE CHANGING.
talk, talk, talk. yap, yap, yap. my gosh. sata loves shooting of his mouth doesn’t he? even when its not necessary. and he wants to be president. lol. what a good help his mouth will be in upsetting other countries presidents
But ba RB, how can u truly drop real men of MMP……. we r now assured of seeing our own country go behind 20yrs… instead of going ahead. Here we go…..
PLIZ VJ SHOULD BE KILLED COZ PEOPLE THEY SUFFER BECOUSE OF HIM WHY,
SONA KI SILUMBA SAMUTU.
#464 Shimaster, I am from N/Western Province, based in Lusaka and never voted for your thug President, Chi Sata. Show some repect for other provinces before someone shoves it up your badk side! Being Civilised does not mean having a full stomach and living good. Before long, your bootlickin ways will not work for you in the foreign land you have becomed so used to and before long your will be booted out. Mwe ponta Muka Bwela.
People of Zambia let us be wise in 2011 and change the government, becuase if we dont unite mmd will be in power again and again. VJ will suffer for what he has done
