A Letter of Encouragement to Rupiah Banda

Share

Dear Rupiah,

Let me start by congratulating you on winning the presidential election. It was a close race I wonder how you pulled that off. Hey, why did you have to rush the inauguration? Two hours after you were declared winner you were being sworn in, don’t you think that was kind of suspicious? Before I get into the details, let me say we have never really met–officially. However, we did informally meet at Mulungushi during the Independence Eve celebrations in 2007. I am the guy who came to your high table and advised you that next time you host a national event like that you should invite groups from other parts of the country not just Eastern and Northern. Then I didn’t even think you were capable of being the Commander-in Chief.

Well, your job now Mr. President is not to attend parties and babysit diplomats who cannot get an audience with the President. You are actually the President. You get to make very important decisions that drive the twelve million citizens of this nation. You actually hire a team of men and women who are entrusted with the country’s wealth and power. Now that is a lot of responsibility on you and your team. As a leader, you get to supervise these individuals and make sure that they perform accordingly. And if they don’t you get to fire them. Already, you could use these powers on some of those guys you know.

The job of the President is not an easy one. Please stop whining about you having too much work and facing difficult times than any of your predecessors. In fact you have it easy. All you need to do is delegate. Delegate your work to some of the brightest men and women Zambia has. You may have to make a few international calls. But don’t worry the Zambians will pay for the calls. Ask some of these competent men and women in economics, agriculture, banking, medicine, and other disciplines to come help you stir the nation in the right direction. I certainly have a few names I could throw your way. Please don’t hesitate to ask. Remember what Mwanawasa did with Bank of Zambia. He fished Caleb Fundanga out from some foreign country.

In order to leave an indelible mark on the Zambian political scene I suggest you pick a cause you are passionate about. Your predecessor fought against corruption. I suggest you fight against illiteracy. Yes, dedicate your energy and time to fight this deadly disease in our country. Make sure that going to school becomes mandatory for every child in Zambia. In fact, pass a law that forces parents to enroll their children to school when they turn seven. Make education free for everyone. Build more schools in every corner of the country. Trust me the Japanese will gladly offer you a few grants for this project. Upgrade some colleges like Evelyn Hone and NIPA to universities. Talk education and dream education. I certainly don’t mind you napping during meetings as long as you are thinking about education.

When you wage this war against illiteracy you will be amazed what will happen to millions of Zambians. Millions will learn how to survive and create their own opportunities amidst the tough times. They will not look to the government to employ them. That is fewer headaches for you trust me. They will not bother any of you and your buddies in government. And most importantly, you leave a legacy that will be difficult to match.

Well, now you see even amidst what you call “difficulty times” you can create opportunities for yourself as the Commander-in-Chief. As long as you have sharp individuals doing the work for you there will be nothing to worry about. You can travel around the country supervising the school projects and no one will question you. Instead of sugar, please take a few good books and give the pupils—someone’s life could be changed forever. When the opposition sees you working hard like this, they will have no words.

Finally, if after three years the work is too much or you find the literacy campaign isn’t too exciting don’t hesitate to resign the presidency. It is not a sign of failure but a sign of courage. You will actually go down in history. You will have more sympathizers all around the country and continent. You will become the literacy campaign spokesperson of the United Nations. Your services will suddenly be needed in Bolivia, Bangladesh and all over the world. Being a private citizen can be fun and fulfilling after all.

Good luck and let me know if I can help in any way.

Sincerely yours,

Wesley Ngwenya

  1. Wesley Ngwenya, a Job seeker.Poor logical thought flow heavy on incoherencies.Graduate from where and in what again????????

  2. Wesley, man where r u found? U and I need to get together so we can give more advice to RB, he definately needs it. I hope he or his goons read this so tht they realise tht it aint the big things but the little things tht mean the world.
RB plz take the mans advice, its not an insult eeh??? Have a iliteracy free 2009. Viva education for all!!!

  3. Wesley you are a very funny person.

I wonder he will be going down that route. Most people who voted him into offfice have never been into a class room. Why do you want them to change?

They wont vote for him once they open their eyes. I bet he would want to keep it that way :d:d:d:d:d:d:d:d:d:d:d

  4. Well, good letter though Ngwenya is advertising himself for an advisory job. Problem Teta hears you………..wafwa. 8-|

  5. #11 I agree, what does #9 stand for ..he does not even have a name to stand for . don’t listen to such characters. Good job Wesley. You can be sure it will get to my new boss. We crawl the INTERNET and cut and paste good stories for our boss.

  6. Wesley Ngwenya I am proud of you and Thank you for your contribution,I knew the time you left Kansas,You are a bright young man with a greater future.Thank you.

  7. lol..point#13 If you look at the areas that even voted during the elections and map against literacy levels in those areas you will find that there is that relation. However, ironic this point maybe why then is that those that understand issues of the candidates and are literate dont vote?

  8. I am also scared coz Teta and his dull friend Mulongoti won’t allow u Ngwenya to start misleading the ever-dozing RB.

  9. #9 yashani? the man has a point, mayb u r the 1 who jes comprehend simple matters, its aint abt the gramma but the fact the u can c wat the man is saying. so amyb u r the job seeker.

  10. #21,you should realise that the best Ngwenya should do is just apply for any job he sees vacant even if it is not there. He seems to be whereever the wind blows(kwalola umwela)

  11. Hai people he is busy drinking zigolo when zambians have nothing to eat you see how the berry will grow now. it seems him he thinks its honeymoney, stop slambering this is time to work. Wesley has written a very good staff, if he can he should just meet RB personaly.

  12. #16 Teta needs to be fired. The article by the post and his stand in the recent local govt elections are just a way of weakening the opposition that seem to have a hold in the rural councils. Aka weaken the opposition at the grass root and place more bootlickers who will use local resources to strengthen the ruling party. Manda Hill…ok if you are expanding where are you expanding to?Across you have show grounds, Behind you have former govt houses that have been sold to individuals, Next you have Northmead, Rhodespark and Olympia residential area.

  13. that’s a very good article..keep it up author… banda does’t know what he is doing..he needs help from experts…

  14. Cont… Is Teta suggesting that infrastructure be brought down to make more shops? The area is already densely populated and LCC may have done an inpact study as to how much the area can sustain before you have cholera and other health issues based on the sewer system. MMD where is professionalism? How can you have dummies for ministers that done seek the input of the professionals in the ministries?

  15. Good material for RB to digest and asmirate. Nyerenda u have a point never mind even if pipo say u are a job seeker. After all we are all job seekers, no one can refuse if offered a job by the President. Keep it up my dear.

  16. He should be passionate about the fight against corruption. You cannot promote anything if the system is full of corrupt elements. If he introduces quality but free education and the system is filled by rotten officers what will happen is that only those with connections or the means to corrupt will access this facility. Yes kill corruption and every thing will pick up positively.

  17. HAPPY NEW YEAR BLOGGERS.GOOD ADVISE WESLEY,BUT HOW DOES IT GET TO RB .DONT WORRY ABOUT PEOPLE LIKE #9 AFTER ALL EVERYONE IS A JOB SEEKER THAT IS WHY A LOT OF ZAMBIANS ARE OUTSIDE THE COUNTY
    IE JOD SEEKING

  18. This guy has a good idea. I hope RB takes up a line in the Zambian set up. Let him find a cause to be identified with, say making dozing during serious deliberations mandatory…:d/

  19. #19 Habanda

People can not just be bothered. You find this even in developed countries. You are in America and I bet you have seen it. If I am alright where I am why bother because I know politicinas are only seeking a job.

It is worse though in Africa because politicians do not deliver even the basi things. Result is aba kuma yard would rather watch BBC24 instead of going to vote.

Matworld I am good man. You?

  20. #41. True but do two wrongs make it right? The fact that one person does wrong does not mean we should roll over and keep quiet? Zambia has potential for reform and be a better place. And it is through internal criticism like this that Zed can be better. If you look at the recent US elections the Republicans lost in all but GA senate elections. Why cause the poor black in GA did make a stand and go out and vote. When they need the most support from Govt.

  21. Wesley Ngwenya’s insight in regard to improving education in Zambia is very good. We need a president who can passionately boost the number of schools on all levels, and the quality of education thoughout the country. Zambia is very behind when it comes to secondary and tertiary education. We really need to pull up our socks with a view to improving our poor standard of education. For this reason, we need to elect the president who has acquired a high level of education, e.g. either with a bachelor, or MA, or a doctorate degree, or something equivalent to these. Otherwise we are in limbo, we are doomed with our pride in little education. Viva Zambia. :((

  22. #49 Alhij Rashid Jones!! You are right I misunderstood my brother. Forgive me. Wes bring an interest point about the prez. I am just frustrated by LT censoring me right now. BUt Point take bro.

  23. # 48 Habanda just use decent words and you wont be censored. I have noticed that every time I post the unprintables my comments don’t make it. Maybe you need to look at what you write or send them an e-mail , they will tell you why your comments are censored

  24. #52 sadly I have not insulted anyone but made a point about jobseekers using a PUBLIC official as an example. Is that unprintable by Zambian standards?

  25. #51 As I said just send them an message on contact us. It happened to me and I think they are good at getting back to you.

  26. #48 During the election run up CV were posted by the local media about the candidates and HH and RB were noted to have had the same. I think Wes’s letter is fine and he stands for something with all the educated folks like they have in Nigeria. There is little or no formal employment and to survive folks get into stuff like “409”. My guess is that is why #37 De Javu brings a good point. Corruption is a good stand too and more jobs for the already unemployed literate graduates who are unemployed or have to bootlick to keep their jobs in Zed.

  27. To all those who sent me best wishes for 2008 i say thanks, but please just send me cash to make my dreams come true in 2009″”iwe Rashid,Handaba and annoymous am happy to hear that u r alive in 2009 i thot u had died;Mr wesley who are u and were do u hail from…job seaker.

  28. Nice article, hats off.Zambia needs two or more people like you who stand for the truth and do not fear to express themselves :d/

  29. Happy Kwaaza to you Munyono!!!!
Just nursing a HO and shocked at those picture that LT has posted of someones behind…and The Minister’s colorful scunner…or is it Busu olo Kaniva!!! Munyono tell LT to post my comment about the Prez press Aide.

  30. Whoever is against Wesly’s letter is a problem. What is wrong with this generation. Thats why we’re being lead by recycled poloticians coz we dont get involved, but just gud yappers. We shd be embarassed to even think that Wesly is job hunting. This generation must aim to be in leadership now!!!! and not to be lead by a bunch of grand parents. Wake up guys!!!!

  31. RB NAUMFWA! By the way, why are you keeping MULONGOTI and NTETA leaving a man like MAGANDE? Surely can the above two build a nation? Each time they open their mouths is rubbish coming out of it! Shame.

  32. Imwe ba LT your verification code to your e-mail is so small not even a microscope can read it just post my comment…why are you acting like UNIP!!x(

  33. The only prob is RB can not be advised but forced i.e. he took his sibblings even very old children to mfuwe on tax payers money until oppinion and letters to the post forced hin to chase the overgrown ones away leaving the few he has satired the last 10 years only. So what we need is pressure on NyamaSoya to do the right things not mere advice alone. Good article though.

  34. How can Wesley without any credible background other than blogging and seeking jobs daily for all these year like shifting sand be given the national level advisory role when he is just a clueless blogging kid?Ain’t those experienced PHD,MS,MBA,MPA,MPP and MA sages not the right ones but this untested and unexposed job seeker peddling theories?

  35. Do you see anyone just wined Graduate entrusted with such responsibility in the Obama team despite the change stamp he campaigned on? Wesley’s solicitation e job solicitation when he has an empty profile is low grade judgment. Stop being appeasers but realists. We are in hard times when tested leadership counts. Wesley should look for a job somewhere and there prove himself beyond book theories. Truth be told that chasing for a job over 3-4 years but still a street kid reveals some flaws in his education.

  36. I am agaist upgrading evlyn and NIPA. Those buildings dont fit to be university buildings. What we need are new built universities. One in southern province, northern , eastern etc. Buildings of university starndards guys. Please dont talk about upgrading talk about building good new universities ala.

  37. Wesly, that is good staff man. The best way to fight poverty in a country is to educate the citizens. Educated kaponyas, educated small scale farmers, educated marketeers, educated MPs, educated ministers etc, etc, etc.

  38. # 60! RB is still keeping in his team people like Tenta and Mulongoti because they are good at bootlicking. As such, RB is at home with them. Magande competed with RB, therefore, the latter looks at the former as someone not to trust. These are pure African politics, my brother! It’s hard to progress in this kind of environment because our politicians want to hear only good things about themselves. Whoever is critical with them stands as an enemy!

  39. I may not be there but envy down, RB has assembled a very powerful advisory team. Check their profile and stamp in life if Wesley’s 4 years blogging and job search years present any matching profile. We can all propound theories but that does not qualify one for a job at that level. No wonder we buy the “more money in your pocket tales” as leadership material. It’s time to exhibit practical intellectual analysis and conclusions.

  40. How can R.B dine and wine in the midist of global economic crisis.

Does he know how much that wine costs, the price has trippled in the last two years, while some cannot afford kapenta and beans. Its time for prudent management of national resources and not dining and wining.

The last thing our leader should do is wine and dine.

  41. Looking at our extream levels of underdevelopment, it will be a good approach to employ good health policies simutanously with sound education policies. These services as public services for all citizens to access

  42. I believe in free speech and implore wesley to continue freely criticising. But please, polish the job seeking skills and go for what will first establish you instead of soliciting for one from RB.

  43. I hope this man has sent the letter to RB and not LT because it might not reach RB who is in Mfuwe and not even online.

  44. I wonder why LT posted this letter. We need better stuff and not to talk about what we already know about RB and his posse #74 you are 100% right !

  45. #71 “wined Graduate entrusted with such responsibility in the Obama team despite the change stamp he campaigned on? ” For you information half the guys and ladies that do most of the research on the Obama team are recent graduates. Take his speech writer 2003 Best student at Holy Cross in Mass. Obama has take a mix of the best. The Volker that you speak of are only in the transition team and will be done away with once he settles in office. What he has done in refer to what you speak of is tap alot of folks from the Clinton & Carter admin and well as two from the current Bush admin. He needs them for insight and experience. But there many credible Zambians that RB can lean to.

  46. Bravo Wesley Ngwenya! Your ideas are very good. If things work out in that direction, am sure #9 would benifit from this project very much coz that is what he/she lucks

  47. 😮 That’s a good Love letter. I hope Mr President has it; and NOT just LT. Otherwise the fights are in vain!

  48. #75 Anonymous, what prudence and powerful advisory teamare you talking.

CVs and papers dont amount to anything without wisdom.I have not heard anything powerful from your so called powerful team. For your own information they have increased tax on fuel, so you call that powerful team. To me that is leaning agaist the wind.

  49. I strongly oppose the inclusion of Teta and mulongoti in what can be termed as a ‘strong team ‘capable of delivering. As PF supporter I can only wish him success coz lucky is not working in a competitive free market economy. We shall wait and see

  50. #9….78Anonymous can please give yourself a name as there so many Anonymous out there. We want to know who we are respondind to. Be brave!

  51. 73# it is all in policy and if you have a president who is busy entertaining his family in the midst of the poverty in Zambia how can you say you have a father of the nation. KK used Mfuwe as a place to recharge and rethink, plan. What was Mwanza, Prof Shapel doing at Mfuwe? Value added…sleeping|-)

  52. Anyone Knows the exchange rate for the zamb K to dollar and the US dollar?

The xe exchane doesnt seem to ve been updated!

  53. Wesley has done good writtings on a number of blogs. I just googled him, he has very interesting write-ups unlike Anonymous!

  54. obviously mukamba “RB” wa umfwa…congrats!!Wesley..
though you dint remind him to stop importing skilled man power when we have a lot of ifikwilili form our universities…
mano yakale…even in third world and forgotten nations like russia
    no skilled power is imported.
believe in zambians before you produce useless graduates!

  55. Guys really what does Zambia need from a president. I strongly think we should move to a level were the system can operate effectively and efficiently with or without a president.Truly the zambian system is so weak that anyone can undermine it.Its sad to note that even after 44yrs of indepedence, the greatest achievement is that our ladies now drive vehicles.Apart from that, really as a country we have just been moving in circles despite the country having alot of technocrats in almost every sectors.Japan is only 63yrs old,19yrs older than us but the gap in terms of development is more than a decade.nevetheless to every cloud there is a silver lining. One day we shall indeed rise.

  56. #103 are you sure Japan is 63? when was the second world war? and Japan was a part of it. Yes the system element in Zed is dead and it died with a president who tried to revive it.

  57. No. 13 – 3RqU, To some extent you are right if RB can fight against illiteracy, it can actually do him good. But do you know that a well informed and educated nation is a threat to a Zambian politician?

To our politician they view a well informed society like they want to over through them. For example why does government keep avoiding to extend coverage of private radio stations (Radio Phoenix, Q Fm, Sky Fm, Zambezi Fm etc). But instead they keep hiding in the name of national security. Now tell me isn’t BBC World Service on 98.0 fm not a threat?

Our politicians are just scared of the bad records.

  58. #107 India the world best example of democracy has one of the highest literacy levels so YES YOU ARE VERY RIGHT!!!!!=d>=d>=d>:))

  59. Dear writer,
Do you understand the Zambian constitution?
If you did your opening questions would have been irrelavant.
You ask how he managed in a tight race, Zambian law recognises a one-vote win gap as necessary and sufficient; RB had thousants of votes above his next contender.
Zambian law states any minute after a winner is declared should be sworn in and the period should not exceed 24 hours. RB was sworn in after 2 hours, so much time was wasted.
Why did you want more time, for what? All was done within the law.
I perceive that the writer is right to ask so many questions because he has displayed too much ignorance.

  60. #109 “Why did you want more time, for what? All was done within the law.
I perceive that the writer is right to ask so many questions because he has displayed too much ignorance.” Hello I thought the article was about education and the need for el Predisento to stop having a party and focus on something….is this another case of Job seeking?

  61. I have never seen a country that has developed because of democracy, almost all developed countries fostered development process at the time the state exercised much powers and made tough but correct decision to move their countries in the right directions .

  62. #109 Fine! Wes is a true nationalist…and I quote “I am the guy who came to your high table and advised you that next time you host a national event like that you should invite groups from other parts of the country not just Eastern and Northern. Then I didn’t even think you were capable of being the Commander-in Chief.”…This brother is brave!! Kudos Wes!!! Bauze!!!! =d>

  63. See Under 1st lady urges improvement of service delivery Quoting “First Lady, Thandiwe Banda, has urged stakeholders in the health sector to join hands in working towards efforts of achieving improved service delivery in the country.”….Maybe we should just make the first lady Prez…ze mudala is sleeping on the madam is making all the right noise…. :d/

  64. #110. habanda
Ignorance is very expensive and it actually kills.
It can cause persuit for circumferences other than straight lines.
It can also cause frustration and depression.
But knowledge gives you confidence and strength.
Seeking knowledge is not wrong, just avoid overdisplay of your ignorance.
“It was a close race I wonder how you pulled that off. Hey, why did you have to rush the inauguration? Two hours after you were declared winner you were being sworn in”
These questions are better asked in privacy other than publicly. Answers are too obvious not to cause much embarasment.

  65. :d/#117 Yippyy…Yeah!!! You got it!!!
Ok guys enough insomina…gat to go to work!!!
Chewe…more peace and love to you!! This is a blog…and as Rashid Jones saying I can say whatever, whenever as long as I am not insulting!! To those that are offended by MY VIEWS!!! I’ am sorry but they are my thought!!

    :)>-

  66. Fine…while you seem to happy that you support someone who is obiviously failing to rule a country…try looking at the bigger picture of what Wes is saying cause you are critizing without any point but quoting the article!!! which I did…so what is your point? Oh wise one:o

  67. Wesley I conquor with you, this is brilliant. However, donot forget that one can not go to school on empty stomatch. Think also of how we should creat more food on every Zambian’s table.

  68. That was the best advise anybody could have given this president. Clearly the author knows that this man doesn’t have an idea of what to do with this huge responsibility bestowed on him; hence these wise words. Well said and keep the good stuff coming.

  69. This Wesley guy is just after a job. He paraded himself before the Nyamasoya at Mulungushi as he has written and by stroke of luck, they guy is now President and presto Wesley is on LT advising RB. Who will not want to be associated with power and get a job from the person at plot 1 in any way possible.
Unfortunately, Wesley Nyamasoya must be so busy i doubt if he will read your article. However, its good food for the bloggers and we will surely blog over it.

  70. blogging is a good thing to do, but should be done with a lot of respect, after all zambia is a christian nation. If you ask me ,that was very good advice and it should be taken as such

  71. #118. habanda
I am shocked that you cant see the poit I am putting across.
Let me simplify it for you.
I have said the write has displayed ignorance because of the following:
    1) He says, “It was a close race I wonder how you pulled that off”
He does not seem to understand that RB won by too much margine in tens of thousands and in terms of percentage more than 2%. That was too much because our constitution simply require 1 (single) vote above the closest.
    2) “Hey, why did you have to rush the inauguration?” 2 hours was already more than enough; the law says once declared the president elect must be sworn in immediqately not not exceed 24 hours. In both cases the writer was ignorant.

  72. #124 Fine.I do not whether you are in favour of the current constitution or not. But for me this constitution wheighs heavily in favour of the guy holding office. Point is we should make the next one to favour all Zambians regardless. Otherwise you will continue having a minority president who end his term fending off criticisms.
MMD now feel confortable with this set up. But once they are out of power they realise the folly of this set up.

  73. #124 Fine, You seem to be the only one who is unable to see that RB is a complete failure. Hard as it may be to accept for those who rigged for MMD sadly RB has failed the nation and judjing by his continuous signs of thickness RB will continue to fail. Remember Shrek was fired several times during Kunda’s reign due to his extreme inability to deliver.

I suggest that RB must take the writer’s advise and RESIGN. PERIOD.

  74. #127. AK,
Even if RB was to be called a failure as you would wish to call him, do I need to condemn his win and his time of inauguration to show you that i agreed with you, when both these issues were done perfectly well as per our constitution?
And I am shocked that if I tell you that Chiluba is not a ‘thief’ until the courts of law say so you would think I support what Chiluba and SATA did to this nation, not at all.
If I tell you the RB won by a very wide margin, or I say the inauguration was all done in accordance with the law, that does not mean that I am supporting everything that RB does. These are separate clear unchangeable fact. I expected that to be quite easy.

  75. This poem or article is just a waste of space. And by the way RB is not a failure and will never be. Wesley, I don’t know what you take the president of Zambia for. Take that Letter to Fred Membe and he will re-write it for you and it might sound better than it does now.

  76. What is the definition of LITERACY?
    ABILITY TO READ AND WRITE?
The UN human development report 2007/2008 classed Zambia into the 60-70% bracket and that is in the same group as Algeria, Nigeria and India! What it means is that 6 to 7 out of every 10 Zambians can ‘identify, understand, interpret, create, communicate, compute and use printed and written materials associated with varying contexts… to enable them to achieve their goals, to develop their knowledge and potential, and to participate fully in the wider society.’ What are those goals? I think we need more schools that can teach practical subjects such as farming, plumbing, bricklaying, carpentry etc. These will develop Zambia.

  77. Nine Chale,
RB is not my relation but I just had say what I thought about the article. Maybe I mark alot of essays and this one would have got a 50% from me.

  78. “I suggest you fight against illiteracy. Yes, dedicate your energy and time to fight this deadly disease in our country. Make sure that going to school becomes mandatory for every child in Zambia.”

Great jolly job done Mr Wesley Ngwenya. Please, keep it up. I know for a fact now that even if I leave LT blogging, there are men and women who will carry my message forward.

Let GRZ carry out massive literacy campaign throughout the whole of Zambia is the message. In this effort, we need role models – and seriously bashikulu Micheal Chilufya Sata can play a huge role in such this endeavour, if only he could consider writing the Grade 7 exams and pass them even barely. A great many ….

  79. Ba Sarah Jones, you are right thats a poem. Happy birtday to you.50 yrs is not a joke! I will be very happy when i reach 50,21 years from now.Am just 29.

  80. 130 Fine
Fact, Chiluba is thief as proved by the London judgement.
Fact, RB is a failure as told to us none MMD by Muteteka Moses.
Muteteka is like a child to RB as he is the head of MMD, so once a child comes to you and claims his father has failed the house who are you to argue to that.
One son of MMD has told us how their father RB has failed to provide leadership, so how can us from Heritage dispute that. As for us we are still waiting for Miyanda to tell us that he is no longer going to stand as a presidential candidate, as for now he is all we have in Heritage.

  81. #136 continued.

A great many number of Kaponyas will be motivated to go back to school and even quit smoking as MC Sata has done. In fact, our Zambian MC Sata or PF, since it is him and without him PF is nothing, can do a lot to help Zambians if they take education and quit-smoking campaign seriously as a challenge that needs to be carefully corrected.

On the issue of joining NIPA and Evelyn Hone Colleges, I totally second the notion. Universities in South Africa including University of Johannesburg and Nelson Mandela Metropolitan have been made up in this way.

  82. RB is a failure to all you who do not know.
Look at how he has failed to polish that thing called his wife. The thing looks like a marketeer even with all the nice things life can affer at her disposal. To me this is a clear exambple that akulu mphuno is a failure.

  83. 139. continued.

Like someone else has written above, we need to build NEW UNIVERSITIES from scratch starting in Southern, then Northern and later Eastern Provinces.

This can help to reduce congestion at UNZA and CBU considering the possible fact that enrolments to UNZA is about 50% of school leavers from Southern provinces schools including Hill Crest Technical, St Rapheals, Canicious (Spelling), St Edmunds’, Monze boys, Njase, St marks, Kalomo, etc. The same is almost true for CBU and I guess recently opened Mulungushi University. So, why not give a chance for students from other provinces to enter UNZA and CBU while many southerner students can be kept at a university in Southern P.

Sata’s contribution to the moving forward of this nation is beyond all of yourself and 99 of other like put together.
Sata is more enterprising and challenging to MMD to an extent where RB is but a speck of dust to this man.
If MMD was democratic and worth the salt of calling themselves workers for the nation called zambia and they allowed RB to stand at a platform like useless ZNBC, with Sata, RB will be obliterated from the face of this country’s political landscape. RB’s dullness can not match Sata’s intelligence in any way possible. Meastro, your RB is shamelessly lazying around in the midst of poverty.

  85. I have just decided on principle to conclude the writer lacked knowledge and in the first part of his article wanted to see if there was someone who could help him decrease his ignorance to acceptable levels. in the middle and later part of his article the writer took a very risky assumption that he knew something and he wanted to offer it to the public. But in both cases he accidentally successfully managed to impress his fellow ignorant blogers.
I am very sure by prediction that the writer is one of the commited bloggers who have always tried to be ‘number 1’ on most of our topics.

Surely, we need to develop other towns or cities in Zambia so that LUSAKA and Kitwe are decongested. Then and only then will problems like Cholera begin to be curbed properly as there will be jobs for us Zambians elsewhere other than Lusaka.
I thus urge President RB Banda to take this Wesley Ngwenya message in this OPEN letter to him (the President) serious for this is part of the solutions that the President requested from the opposition to help him and his Administration to tackle the impending problems against the Global Economic Crisis with other Zambian Challenges.
Together, YES we ALL Zambians can. In fact we can do it better this time looking at others’ success.

  87. 142 Maestro
What zambia needs are not countless universities to teach Political and Social Sciences. What we need are Universities that will churn out individuals who will not just look to the Mines and Cellular Phones Service Provision companies for jobs, No.
We need universities that will churn out enterprising graduates who will look to turning our vast raw materials like sand, timber, water and even grass into something worth improving the lives and economic situation of our nation. Right now we have a lot of Graduates only in Mining Studies and countable engineering fields.

  88. Being an educated fellow, I do agree with this young man. The problem in Zambia is lack of education. Education can perform wonders look at the Chinese and the Asians in general, these countries have invested in human capital (education), thats why the standard of living in those countries has increased exponentially.

    Salut Oameni Buni!

  89. 143. FINE! IMBWA, while I have never participated fully in POLITICS at any level, I know that being silent on most matters is the first rule of being a successful politician.

You do not need to be speaking or answering questions and rants all the time to show that you are in control of the situation.

It is a known fact that President RB Banda is way too educated and intelligent than Sata who is always contradicting himself due to failure to close his mouth when it is necessary. For example, just the other day, the man MC Sata was busy saying that the mandate of the Corruption institutions must be extended so that they fight criminals and cases alike while he has been opposing it.

  90. #138. KCM
So Muteteka has told you that RB is a failure and so you believe he is?
You are very interesting, I will also tell you something you must believe:
SATA is a failure, He and Chiluba failed us for 10 years.
He even failed to realise the failures they were making and he wanted Chiluba to continue by fighting for THIRD TERM, being convinced that no one could rule Zambia better than Chiluba.
So is SATA not a failure in your view?

  91. The major problem facing Zambia at the moment is lack of Jobs. Schooling and Jobs go hand in hand. I recall recently when I visited Zambia and a reputable firm was seeking to recruit one or two people at Pamodzi Hotel, over a thousand turned up, all exceptionally educated in their own rights. A number of taxi drivers in Lusaka both registered or unregistered are well Educated even own mobile phones and communicate very well. Most of us who left our motherland for greener pastures left because there were no jobs or had been declared redundant following the misapplied and mismanaged privatisation. e.g. ZIMCO once a major employer with over 100 subsidiaries was shut.

  92. 145
Your blog is loaded with useful points, but certainly not achievable under a President like Nyamasoya. First we need to change the president before we can even thing of achieving 1 item out of your blog.

  93. #142..mestrol heeheheh
You are really a great tribalist I have ever seen on this blog. You are always taking about Tonga this tonga that…souther province this ..bemba dull people.??? Why for heaven’s sake. Know that a lott of tonga women in the SDA church are married to Bembas. Please stop this tribal talk. You will cause confusions in this Bemba -Tonga marriages. Iam just advising you to be maturein the way you handle trible issues. On this blog there are those who are in the Tonga-Bemba marrieges. Please let us promote oneness as Zambians…not the way you undreess the Bembas. No, dear. even if they are dull please have just a pitch of repect for them…

  94. 146. FINE! IMBWA, while I did not mention anywhere about what type of courses we need in would-be universities, I would like to inform you that UNZA – which I know best – takes up about 500 – 600 students in the School of Natural Sciences as 1st years. By 2nd year, of all this number only about 90 Students go to the School of Engineering, 50 School of Medicine, 30 School of Mines, 70 School of Agriculture, 10 School of Veterinary Medicine, 20 Computer Science, 5 Physics, 20 Mathematics, 30 Biology, 10 Chemistry, 20 Natural Resources (whatever it is called) and the rest drop out due to failure to pass the examinations.
So,please justify your claims about the Mining and Cell 4n job seekers!

  95. #70 Kambongolo. I totally agree with you. A brand new university in each province is the best thing that can happen to Zambia. I wonder why people always think only about lusaka and the CB. For instance we can have a university in L/stone that mainly specializes in technology and tourism. Another one in Kasama that mainly specializes in Agricultural sciences and Engineering. Another university in Solwezi that mainly specializes in Geology and Mining related engineering courses. Luapula can also specialize in both environmental sciences, and Architecture. western Province can also specialize in maybe Engineering and fosils exploration. Eastern can also specialize in Arts, Culture,

  96. Chewe,
Ye right what 50 year old mum would be playing XBOX 360 games with her son as most 50 old women would be watering flower pots and watching day time TV.

  97. 150
That is what most of the guys fail to see about zambia. Graduates are roaming the streets or doing the so called informal businesses, so the new graduates that some people on this blog are so much desiring, where are they going to work if i may ask.
We need to create jobs and not just casual jobs, but quality jobs with good working environment, good take home pay packets and most important of all quality gratuity or pensions for all.

  98. cnt…, Agriculture and Animal husbandry, etc, etc. Don’t think of lusaka every time you are ponder a new thing/project. Other provinces have been leftout in the sharing of the national cake ever since independence. This by and large has contributed to so much poverty, illiteracy, urbanization and congestion in bigger cities, diseases such as cholera, etc.

  99. 155. Thando, there is already one private university in Livingstone called Livingstone Technology University (name). I agree with your suggestions, but Luapula can do well with a Fisheries oriented university and environmental issues like forest in looking at the Ituli (spelling) or so rainy forest in Congo DR.

  100. Happy new year to all zambians. Wesley Ngwenya you are so right about education. RB need to do some thing about education and do it know!!!! and not in ten years time.

  101. 158. UMWINA KALALE, please address my #154 and also note that we personally need to be intrepid enterprenuers also as graduates employing others of our kind instead of looking for jobs always. So, the question of where are the jobs needs to be solved by you and me and not looking up to GRZ always.

  102. 149 Fine
Sata in today’s post just acknowledged how selfish and careless Chiluba was. He has at times regreted having supported this man and that is worth absorbing and appreciating by all who care to read what Sata says.
In the same vein, Muteteka came out and said that RB is a fail leader and its only logical to absorb and assimilate the data. Not long after Muteteka’s statement RB went on holiday due to reduced meali meal prices. Yesterday i bought a 25kg bag at K69,800 from Shoprite. Is this the reduction worth going on holiday for. I leave it to all who think to judge as i am not God, but just a poor zambian.

  103. 152. Kambongolo, thank you for you OPINION that I am a tribalist in your “#142..mestrol …You are really a great tribalist I have ever seen on this blog. “…No, dear. even if they are dull please have just a pitch of repect for them…”

    152. Kambongolo, can you please quote for me where I referred to Tongas or Bembas in my above postings save for this one where I am responding to you.

Let us thus see and know who is the actual tribalist here. Remember that “ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS – unknown”!

Please, respond to this one and dont be a coward. There is also room for you to apologise for that is what real people (men) do when they are caught up in a quagmire.

  105. People must understand that talking and doing are 2 different things.
SATA talks about many good things, though he mixes and backtracts on them.
But if talking was enough SATA and Chiluba would have built secondary schools each Kilometer, and universities each province during their 10 year rule, which they wanted to extend to 15 years.
Today SATA comes out to some people like the 90 day principle is the deliverance concept for Zambia.
And it is amazing how simple minds can be! I can assure that there are people even on this blog who literally believe that SATA would do everything he says, such that when he talks their hearts even vibrate instead of the normal pumping blood.

  106. 162
Those are interesting numbers of entries into UNZA and your data is very helpful.
You are right about graduates creating jobs to employ others, but remember a graduate fresh from university will have very little income or capital to venture into most enterprises that can create jobs. That is where the govt comes in, other than giving incentives to foreigner who are quick to run away from zambia, they need to give incentives to enterprising zambian businesses or individuals divorced from political partisan mentality. Even those from the opposition, with divergent views and critical to govt, but are enterprising should be catered for.

  107. 137. Chewe, ulibuti musa mu-mwaka upya ooyu. I am impressed that you are about mine age. Leza aakuleleke a buumi bunyina kuciswa mwaka ooyu alimwi amyaka iiboola.

  108. #163. KCM
So is it can take SATA 17 years to realise that the man he was supporting was a wrong man for presidency would you risk placing the country in the hands of such a person?
17 years you are not aware that the man you are supporting is messing up the economy, all the indicators ellude you for more than 17 years – you can’t see, only to realise after 17 years. And you still think you have the ability to rule a nation?
You have just confirmed to me that SATA should never be president of this nation.
You call RB as sleeping over just a month, when SATA was sleeping for over 10 years he was with Chiluba.
    Zambians you are jocking!

  109. 166. Fine! Impressive and I second your points.

I am requesting any sane journalist to please aks Sata to directly tell the Nation why he supported Chiluba’s 3rd Term bid for Zambian President even to the point of equipping then MMD thugs whom I want to believe have become PF ones to machete fellow innocent Zambian Ciizens who did not agree with that Third Term nonsense of Chiluba.

Sata also is believed to have orchestrated the chasing of 22 MMD then, 2001, members of which Miyanda was part, a thing he has continued doing in his PF. Thus, please ask him whether he (MC Sata)is a team player! I will appreciate his answers to these for now.

  110. 152. Kambongolo, what has just happened to you. I need your response to my #163 and 164. I understand the English is may not be your mother tongue and so your apologises are welcome if you fail to back your assertions. 😉

  111. I do not know where some people’s hate for Sata comes from and is grounded into. Sata is and speaks what most zambians can connect with.
Imagine being told that mealie meal has gone down but the prices are still up their. Now load shedding is gone since the mines are not producing, but i will not be suprised if some MMD chap comes on TV and says Nyamasoya has ended load shedding.
For me its this mentality and attitude of those, especially those, in power to cheat that defeats my inclination to support them. You have to be factual when in control of the situation unlike some one outside of the situation.

  112. metrol Heheheh you said ‘Like someone else has written above, we need to build NEW UNIVERSITIES from scratch starting in Southern, then Northern and later Eastern Provinces.’

Its me who suggested that universities be built in ecah province. I did not say starting with southern province as you are putting the words in my mouth. I have read many of your posting where you have just attached Bembas. Thats why i responded coz i dont want to appear has saying southern province is ranked first in my sugestion that universities be built in provinces. When you strted bragging about southern province and how short at Luapula province reminded me of all your positing you have been denoucingbembas

  113. 167. UMWINA KALALE, good my fellow Citizen.
Remember also that Bill gates and Micheal (spelling) Dell both notable rich men started working on their companies while at colleges or universities.
Bill gates left and wrote MS-DOS PC Operating System which now most of us use as Windows whatever (Vista, XP, etc). Micheal Dell dropped out of graduate school and now we have Dell Computers to his name.
Zambia has sand in western province, why then cant we see young graduates turn it into (Integrated Circuits) ICs and produce PCs, radio and even TVs made in Zambia. Why do we think buying foreign products is best. Even handmade expensive shoes, we dance rejoicing to such instead of making ours.

  114. 174. Kambongolo, thanks for standing up to your self deception and confusion in your “Its me who suggested that universities be built in ecah province. More questions for you. Is Southern Province only occupied by Tongas? ….

  115. #174 cont,s

I just said provinces be built in all pronvices. I believe in oneness so there is no way I would say the building first start with any type of province just because of any obssessed reason I have. So dont distort whaat your friends say.You forget your posting?? Please mestro again I am saying promote oneness. We are all one in our beloved country. For the reason I gave lets blogg with oneness in mind. we may differ in our opinnion but the bond should not be broken.

  116. 176 continued.
    174. Kambongolo, … Isn’t it a FACT that Southern Province sends many students to UNZA regardless of the tribe for such southerners? Are you sure, I am thus a tribalist (in light of these truths and my desire to decongest UNZA, CBU and ultimately Lusaka and Kitwe)? Who among us two, me – Maestro Hhehhehhehhe – and you – Kambongolo, has issued tribal remarks uin this topic? Just be honest and come out of self imprisonment for I advised you that “ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS – unknown”.

Please, I need respionses to the above questions!

  117. 171
Stop the hate for Sata. You are too smart to get muddled in Fine’s shortsightedness of supporting RB blindly.
RB said that he was refreshed after the holiday, but some people where saying he had gone to consult, No. RB was not consulting but resting, mefipuba mwee.

  118. That’s Words of wisdom we got here, how i wish we could have at least ten of such kind of people heading big government offices and i believe Zambia would be a food basket for Region, not only the region but also Africa as a Whole. Big Up Wesley Ngwenya and Happy New Year to all of your guys

My friend,I have always written “One Zambia, One Nation” and even put up the National Anthem for you all from time to time reminding you of oneness. Am I not entitled to own opinion?

  120. I for one do not hate Sata. His recent rantings about Chiluba suggest that he may have rabies! Chiluba was a problem from the start, that is why LPM resigned from his cabinet. All those who saw sense at that time did the same, but sata thought that he would continue to have his cake and eat it. It backfired. Chiluba realised that he had to pass on the button to someone of integrity and none of his leutenants qualified. Sata was gutted and remains a bitter man to today. Such a man may speak for ‘many’ Zambians, but not for moi> sorry. It is the Post’s hatred for RB that has given him a platform to spue his vernom.

  121. 180. KCM
Rest is important for eficiency. Just because a person is at State House does not mean that he is working and in this day of modern technology you do not need to be at State House to work!

  122. 179, Maestro, Congratulations for the award of the year. From 22-28 December I was at Rusangu for music camp meeting for Zambia Union Conference, on Sabbath 28th HH attended the service with us it was so live that the congregation forgot that they were in Church. He donated a cow and bags of meal meal for the delegates. It was refreshing week.

  123. The author of this letter has raised a good point about empahasis on education.FTJ is credited for implementing a free market economy to Zambia while LPM stood against corruption but one begs to find out what RB stands for. It`s not enough to simply complain and expect the nation to feel sorry for you when they are looking for leadership.

  124. 185. VOTE RIGGER, this your analysis is the best I have read so far this year.

I just want to reecho your ” Sata was gutted and remains a bitter man to today. Such a man may speak for ‘many’ Zambians, but not for moi> sorry” in a written form for many to understand as ‘ Sata was gutted and remains a bitter man to today. Such a man may speak for ‘many’ Zambians, but not for ME> sorry.’

    Have a great day!

  125. :d/:d/:-?:-? Thats some good stuff. Banda should first of all realize he does not make a good chief of stuff, secondly, he needs to sorround himself with educated people not the iliterate Teta Mashaba. We need to take up different routs like upgrading public infrastrature and building more schools. We also should have more hospitals and roads.

  126. #183..mestrol hehehe.

very much you are entitled. This is what we are doing here on this blog. But let us be sensitive to tribal issues. If i discuss or i call RB nyama soya…its RB I have not included the people of eatern province. But when i start associating my opinions about RB with the people of the eacst then i will be wrong. If you disscuss Kambongolo just disscuss me thats fine……

So iwe mudala mestrol hehehehe…how are you and how is the family….or u are still sleeping golf-manner??

  127. 41. 3RqU,

” It is worse though in Africa because politicians do not deliver even the basi things. ”

It should not even be up to politicians, period, basic services should be delivered by the state, and guaranteed in the constitutions. If it i is up to politicians to deliver basic services, they can also withhold basic services, for instance to people who did not vote for them.

Basic services should be delivered by local councils, which should collectively receive 50% of nationally collected revenues (especially from the mines), for that very purpose – make them responsible for education, healthcare, policing and utilities.

  128. 187. VILLAGE CONCEPT, thanks very much for your kind words. They have really encouraged me for the cause of Zambia.

I am also impressed to read about presdent Hakainde Hichilema (aka HH) on his attending the SDA Church service especially at Runsangu Mission. The donation is very welcome and this is an example of truth leadership instead of rhetoric and uneducated, copied advice. For people need real solutions and not commentaries which yield nothing.

I am glad it was refreshing to you and probably all those that attended. I thus wish you a prosperous 2009 including good health for you and your family.

Take careful care and keep well. =; for Zambia.

  129. #143 FINE!..YOU SPOT ON. SATA IS JUST TOO MUCH FOR THEM. HE DID NOT GO TO SCHOOL AS MOST PEOPLE PUT IT. BUT HE HAS A DEEP UNDERSTANDING OF ISSUES AND THAT MAKES HIM ACHIEVE A LOT IN LIFE. #136 JUST HAS A POINTLESS GRUDGE AGAINST SATA. THIS COULD BE BECAUSE #136 IS MINIMALLY EDUCATED BUT HAS COMPLETELY FAILED IN LIFE AND WONDERS WHY SOMEONE LIKE SATA HAS SO MUCH ACHIEVEMENT WITHOUT EDUCATION. OR 136 IS JUST AN EVIL PERSON WHO DOESN’T LIKE SEING PROGRESS. SATA WANTS TO WORK FOR THE PEOPLE. HE DOESN’T NEED A JOB AT ALL.

  130. And I like the idea of universal education – but weren’t we there before, with UNIP, before the MMD decided that ‘the free market will deliver’?

And we need to develop agriculture, because it will: secure the food supply by lowering the price of staple foods through increased production of maize instead of price manipulation; reduce unemployment in a meaningful way; reduce or reverse urbanisation by creating rural jobs; reduce or prevent flooding by keeping rainfall on the farm or store it in ponds of use throughout the year.

  131. 191. Kambongolo, I am well, thank God, including my family in Zambia – I spoke to ba-maama yesterday and one brother who lives in Livingstone.

I just want to inform you to try to always read my comments with care and not emotionally. You will be shocked to find that they are always educated comments with no intention to belittle any tribe for I based the, on facts on the ground.

Having noted that you have toned down, I will now wish you a great 2009 and prosperous-ness in it and the future future. I will also leave shortly to prepare for the Sabbath slated for this evening and tomorrow (Genesis 1:5, Ezekiel 20:20 and Exodus 20:8-11). =d>.

  132. Mr.Fine
U r an RB fan. Please leave MCS out of your hero worshiping of RB, he has nothing to do with neither RB aka SHREK nor the Short Thief Chiluba. Mwikala pa talala mwine apatalalika!!!!

  133. 194. Thando, I truly like your opinion especially your funny comment “SATA WANTS TO WORK FOR THE PEOPLE. HE DOESN’T NEED A JOB AT ALL.”
Please, be honest with yourslef as you answer the following questions:
    1. Sata sent MMD thugs, now probably PF thugs, to machete people in Chawama who didnt agree with his 3rd Term bid for Chiluba, which people was he working for?
    2. Sata allegedly chased 22 then MMD members including Ministers in his support for Chiluba’s 3rd Term. Now, someone suggested that MC Sata knew that the bid would fail. Why then did he chase people including former Veeps who would have succeeded Chiluba if MC Sata doesn’t need a job?
I will post you more stuff for your sake.

  134. 186 VOTE RIGGER
RB SAID THAT HE WAS RESTING. HE DID NOT SAY HE WAS WORKING, YOUR ISSUE OF CONNECTIVITY DUE TO TECHNOLOGY IS VALID THOUGH NOT AN ISSUE HERE.
THE ISSUE AT HAND WAS WHAT RB SAID THAT, HE WAS REFRESHED AFTER RESTING AND NOT WHAT SOME PEOPLE WERE SAYING THAT HE WAS CONSULTING. I DO NOT THINK RB HAS ANY REASON NOT TO SAY HE WAS CONSULTING AND I DO NOT SEE HOW RESTING CAN MEAN CONSULTING. CAN I BE HELPED AND DIRECTED BEFORE I REST MY CASE PLEASE. RESTING IS NOT CONSULTING JUST AS CONSULTING CAN NOT BE RESTING, DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR.

  135. #152. 142 IS REALLY A SAD PERSON. He always remind me of a Tonga brother-in-marriage I used to have in Ndola who banned Bemba language at his house. He strictly told his children not to speak Bemba but Nyanja, English and Tonga. One day he greatly embarrases me when I visited his house in company of my friend. One of his kids spoke Bemba. He called the kid and started telling the kid never to speak Bemba, again. I was so embarrases I wished I never went there with my friend. When we finally left his house, I started appologizing to my friend. My friend stopped and said it wasn’t the first time he was hearing this. 136. 203. Thando, read on and you will realise how you #152 Kambongolo has been brought to senses. You will continue hating and me as a Tonga will be rejoicing while you sadly accuse me of being a “142 IS REALLY A SAD PERSON” – an opinion you are entitled to.

In fact I love all my people in Zambia. My children can speak any language even if they don’t speak mine. But as you pointed out #152 this guy hehe can poison a lot of weak minds. He is a very rotten egg in the basket. He’s got no love for Zambia. He doesn’t like peace in the country. He sees everything on the Tonga level. But my brother ignore such !diots. They don’t deserve responding to.

  138. 206. Thando, iwe Thando, it appears you need prayers eeh! I will include you on the prayer list. This Bemba confusion will only retard your mind as seen in the appalling English written Language by many who behave like you on here.
My being able to converse in many languages is what has caused you to misconstrue my well meaning intentions which sound-minded LT bloggers, like your 152. Kambongolo (now) has realised, already now.
Continue in your uselessness and let us see how far you’ll go.

Much as we can give a critique of anyone, it must done with a sense of responsibility, respect etc because just as we can criticize anyone, we should be ready to be criticized!!
DO NOT CRITICIZE IF YOU ARE NOT READY TO BE CRITICIZED!!

  147. Why are Sata and Chiluba insulting each other? What is the issue now when the two criminals were once very good buddies stealing and beating up people together? Can someone please explain to me what this means? How would you define such characters?

  148. You see, I just to know what opportunities are available for us young Zambians who have lived, educated ourselves and worked abroad. All we hear is that, there are “good” opportunities but like most of us, we are a little skeptical about returning ho me to nothing. Please, educate me on this issue.

  149. #215 You have to live with the fact that there is a wide range of contributors to this site. Some people think before commenting and some engage their brains after posting. Just yesterday, someone likened me to the drunken youth on the New Years pictures & I laughed it off. You can’t let every comment bother you. If you’re going to blow a gasket everytime someone says something against RB or even against you, well, you’re going to spend the whole day blowing gaskets!
We’re on the internet! You just can’t let everything bother you, or you end up in a semi-permanent state of depression!
    🙂

  150. #137,
    Ba Chewe’
I knew it… your age… from your blogging .. it was not difficult to guesss that…..

Do not ever attempt to ask ‘mine’;.as
I will never tell you and you will never guess it right.. never..,,,
Happy New year to your family…. <:-p<:-p<:-p<:-p<:-p<:-p<:-p<:-p<:-p<:-p<:-p<:-p

  151. To indicate that all the President needs is to surround himself with people who can provide direction is very simplistic. What our Country needs is dynamic leadership at the helm. There is no point in aspiring for top post if one has no vision for the Country. A dynamic leader would have top on the Agenda,”Job creation”. Not necessarily in Mines, our Country needs major modernisation in field of infrascture development; Roads, Construction, Tourism are some of the areas that can absorb diverse skills. Otherwise what Ngwenya is suggesting is to pile on to the streets more educated people with no where to go. It is not the individuals’mandate to create employment, it is a national obligation.

  152. #221,
give it a guess until next year and you will never get it right…

Iam ageless……but full of wisdom :-?:-?:-?:-?l-)l-)

  153. if RB could get to read this maybe it might have some kind of effect.either way the concept is good. :):):):)**==**==**==**==
