Investrust Bank PLC has commended Cheshire Home of
Chawama for its selfless efforts in caring for the less privileged in society.
Investrust Bank Plc Corporate Dealer, Josephine Djokotoe, said Cheshire Homes was doing a commendable job by providing food, shelter and care for the orphaned, aged, and homeless people.
Ms Djokotoe said this when the women of Investrust bank Plc donated assorted goods
worth K10 million to Cheshire Homes of Devine Providence in Lusaka today.
She said the women of Investrust Bank Plc have decided to make 2007 a year of action
and social responsibility, hence the donation to Cheshire Homes.
Speaking at the same function, Sister in charge of Cheshire Homes, Judith Bozek
thanked the women of Investrust bank for the donation.
Sr. Bozek said it was encouraging to receive the donation from women, saying that
all women are called not only to be mothers of their own children but also many
other people in need.
She appealed to other well-wishers to come forward and partner with Cheshire homes
in helping the less privileged people in society.
