Kitwe man allegedly murders wife

Police in Kitwe are looking for a  55-year-old-man of Mutumpa farms across the Kafue River for allegedly murdering his wife after a domestic dispute.

Police Spokesperson Bonny Kapeso said Joseph Mulambi is believed to have murdered
his wife identified as, Agnes Kayula, aged 50 after a domestic dispute.

Mr Kapeso told ZANIS in an Interview in Kitwe today that the man killed his wife in
a dispute that ensued after a drinking spree.

Mr Mulambi is alleged to have battered his wife to death in the early hours of Sunday.

He said a man, who visited their farm house in the morning found Kayula dead and
reported the matter to the Police.

In another development Police in Kitwe have arrested two women who were found
burying a foetus behind their house in the early hours of Thursday.

Mr Kapeso said the two women identified as Helen Nglande of Zone 2/99 Musonda
Compound, and Dainess Bwalya, 42, of Zone 5/91 Kapoto Compound were found burying a foetus behind Nglande’s house  by some women around 05 hours in the morning.

He said the two were apprehended and taken to the Police where they have since been
charged with unlawful abortion.
