PF to hold Convention Next Month

Share

The opposition Patriotic Front-PF- says all is set for its first convention scheduled for next month.

PF Secretary General, Edward Mumbi has since urged all party members to apply to contest their preferred positions.

Mr. Mumbi said all positions, including the presidency, are open for contest.

He however, indicated that he has not received any application from party members.

Mr. Mumbi said party members should begin to apply to contest positions to avoid crying foul during the convention.

He said all logistics have been properly catered for.

Mr. Mumbi said the next PF Central Committee meeting is expected to decide on the venue for the PF’s first convention.

Kasama Central Member of Parliament, Saviour Chishimba recently indicated his intention to challenge PF leader, Michael Sata.

  1. Guy Scotch Whisky should stop intimidating aspiring candidates in order to have quality contenders for the Executive positions.
If Sata can win in a clear manner then he will have a greater acceptance among the general electorate, come presidentials.

  2. Sata’s heart attack has really slowed him down and being paraded before cabinet like a prodigal son following his “reconciliation” with Levy was demeaning to say the least. He has done his part though and should get an honourable exit, like General Tembo did from FDD.

  3. PF convention? what does it really mean? where are the delegates coming from, How is representation, is it proportional with the population in each province? Who votes and any distribution of votes? Are all elected MP eligible to vote? Who is financing this convention? will the convention publicly dislose its financial statements? all that information is very crucial and i hope PF will enlighten us on that? As for Mr Sata, he has a constitutional right to hold whatever public office he may so wish, but let it be transparent please. Political partiens are not personal to holder if that is the case then its recipe for failure. Ask Ben Mwila, Nevers Mumba, General Miyanda, Akashabatwa et all.

  4. yayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayaaaaaaa!! elo lwanya!!Sata is going now ?what got into his head?man, the convention is gonna be very kaponyaish and violent…i fear for some people….let’s wait and see what happens!its been very long overdue and we need leadership that is civilised and intelligent with some clean language from the mouth…farewell Sata!

  5. Good, but why have they waited so long? READ BETWEEN THE LINES. Let PF prove itself a worse joke compared to other party conventions.

  6. Where are they drawing delegates from for the convention when the party per Sata’s words has not membership, register or card? Are they going to potch for marketeers and Kusogoro boys with chibuku for a convention vote? Interesting indeed to see the proceed and aftermarth.

  7. #5, those are the questions PF needs to ask itself and answer adequately. What does or does not happen at the convention will be a firm indicator of things to come if PF comes into power. If they conduct themselves in a fair, democratic, transparent and inclusive manner then there might be hope. If not, then all of our suspicions will be validated.

  8. i dont see sata living cos am sure at one point he would merge with MMD and stand for president, thats just my opinion

  9. The funding of the political parties is what we should be thinking about now. Should political parties followers starting financing their parties? How …? becuase this is what we saw in the America’s primary elections i.e. donations from the supporters, then we can own these parties! What about that…?

  10. Sata is a dead man walking. He might not even last one term if he is elected president. His health is bad and am sure Zambians do not need another president laying in coma in a foreign country for a long long time.I suggest all presidential candidates be tested for life threatening diseases including HIV.And how many wives does he have? We do not need a poligamist president.

  11. Sata is very fit. His heart attack was due to cigarettes and he has since stopped smoking and chews nicolete gum in the meantime. MMD overstaged Sata’s illness for political mileage. Sata was walking and talking while boarding the ambulance and was giving interviews to the Post by day 2.

Sata is very fit..fyi he is about the only politician that can remember all numbers in his phone book by heart. He re-calls numbers verbally when dialing any of his contacts and does not have to refer to the phone book..not even # 13 and HH can do that.

  12. #13, Sata had a heart attack and has been smoking for the last 40 years. He might be chewing nicotine gum but who knows what he does behind the scenes? Besides he might already have lung cancer, that is why in countries like the USA you must have a medical check up before you become president. We are lucky because zambians are peaceful otherwise in other countries somebody would already have taken advantage of the situation we are in.

  13. #18 ba Filamba, may I contradict and commend you at the same time. US Republican candidate John McCaine is not in best health either. He just had another operation in a series of numerous surgeries to remove cancer cells from his face.
You’re however definately right when you mention peaceful Zambians in that nobody has utilised the president’s absence to incite civil unrest from within. What you call luck is but a blessing divine from the Almighty God.

  14. #12 Kafundisha, you bring up a very valid point. I think it is about time political parties were financed primarily by its followers. We could maybe remove the sense of entitlement these leaders due to the fact that they have to fund their parties almost entirely by themselves. Maybe this would provide the opportunity for genuine and qualified leaders, who lack the resources, to aspire to various levels of government. The political scene is saturated with prominent ill-qualified “business men” who are given a pass just because they have the money to run a campaign.Zambians living abroad can become active and exert political influence by organizing resources for their candidate/s of choice

  15. PF: This the best news for the party..it is about time…as for the venue let PF select a neutral place like Kabwe, atleast outside Lusaka…As for Presidency..the only person who can a win a landslide victory for PF and lead Zambian into the next strong zambia is Honorable Given Lubinda, MP for Kabwata..He has proven to be a strong leader in Parliament and he has lead outstanding legislative bills in parliament. He can win both rural and urban votes and he is someone who can totally any candidate from MMD…PF should stand with Lubinda for presidency. He is smart, articulate and he has been a wonderful legislator..all those making noise such as chishimba S.what have they done in parliament?

  16. I support Given Lubinda for PF presidency and Zambian next president….the guy is just so smart!! He can international creditials to be president!! Go Given!!

  17. #15,if u dnt knw the numbers u dial the most in ur cellphone, then u must be a very dull person.Sata is nt unique in any way my frend. We need knowlegde based leadership and Sata is nt anywhere near tht. Moreover, how many pipo 2day can vote 4 Sata if elections?

  18. Pa bwato is stuck in the mad!! That is the end of this once second largest party in parliament,i know someone wil disagree with me bt i call a spade a spade and not a big spoon. Its written on the wall for all to see.

  19. alright this is from the slamps…the indepth shanty representing 80 percent of the zambians,,pf in as much as others might say its a sinking ship but truth be told, here in urban lusaka its still by far the strongest and it still enjoying vast majority support.one might wonder but HOW? simple, here in the ghetto people dont want no english speaking economistic person with confusing manifesto which are hard to follow full of GDPs etc people in the shanty ie the people who are the largest percent of electorate, want simple….MORE MONEY IN YOUR POCKETS,DEMOLISH SHANTY BUILD DECENT HOUSING,CHASE BOGOUS FORIEN INVESTERS ie those filling kamwala,In short people want someone who will identify there need and provide a feasible solution in there eyes.thats PFs secret and if today a general election where held similar results as 2006 would be seen cause the truth is people in the slamp are PABWATO….this from indepth of the ghetto…where we sleep with an eye open..lol

  20. #27 you seem to be sure of what you are saying.Do you think if went for elections in 3 months time,PF wil reproduce same results or better than was in 2006?Time have changed and zambian’s are more enlightned than ever before.

  21. Lets b real, chishimba is very brave 2 challenge sata bcoz otherz fear and worship him.he isnt democratic, the man thinks PF is personal 2 order and he is arogant with his dictatorial tendancies.he is worse than mugabe .let him rest,we.nid fresh blood en fr Lets b real, chishimba is very brave 2 challenge sata bcoz otherz fear and worship him.he isnt democratic, the man thinks PF is personal 2 order and he is arogant with his dictatorial tendancies.he is worse than mugabe .let him rest,we.nid fresh blood en fr

  22. #31, the description you have given of Sata is true of most if not all the existing prominent presidents of political parties in Zambia. They all have the illusion that they are the party and that the party belongs to them. We as an electorate feed into this myopic reasoning.

  23. Because 100m sprint records nudge ever downwards year on year, there will inevitably come a time when the record will stand at 0 seconds. I am no logician, but I doubt we will ever reach that stage, no matter how many drugs they take.

  24. I am loving it. I believe Jesus was born in Zambia not somewhere in the Middle East where the Jews and Palestinians are cutting there throats day in, day out. I love my country for its peace and hamorny. Go on PF, hold that Convention but whoever takes the Presidency must know who we are, where we are coming from as a country. A proud and peaceful brother’s keeper. Iam loving it!

  25. This is interesting.MMD is cracking so is PF.Remember, its easy 2 destroy bt difficult 2 build.2 b realistic these parties hav alot of homework to do.Only UPND is enjoying some peace.

  26. 70% of bloggers(so called intellectual) you are so detached from reaality on the ground. Next we will hear a suggestion from a UPND dreamer that we should buy batery powered laptops and distribute in villages so we blog with our folks. Sata will say.. lets buy unga (mealie meal) to feed their hungry stomach..and thats the difference. watch coming months closely..

  27. in as much as i support the PF i wish they could hold free and fair elections.if this is not done,i see the down fall of this political gaint.

rating sata as president of PF is no problem for me but as zambias president…i find it hard.zambia now needs a president who will move the country to real wealth creation and stable prices.

  28. Sad to see how arrogant some PF MPs have become, they seem to have forgotten that had it not been 4 Sata most if not all of them would never have seen themselves in parliament let alone even as councilors.most of them think 2011 is too far, will see how they’ll extinguish their differences with Sata.Certainly the convention is an excellent idea & hope Sata will anoint the younger generation to take over from him or best still remain as party president but have someone else run as national president come 2011.

  29. #35 you’re right,UPND is enjoying some peace & all becoz without HH its as bad as UNIP i mean all the heavy weights Sikota,Chisanga,Sichinga who were probable contenders are no longer there, apart from HH there’s no-one else appealing in UPND & coz of that HH seems to be enjoying that peace. The problem with Zed is that we have too many unrealistic dreamers most of whom know that they’ll never even be presidents & that their existence in politics is a liability to the nation.

  30. Ba Sata has a golden opportunity to exit with dignity and grace, giving chance to younger people to take the party forward. Look at UNIP, the old man stayed too long such that when he left too many cracks were created. MMD, Chiluba never groomed anyone such that he had to resort to Russian Roulet when push came to shove. Abakamba ba Levy is now in dream land without concretely grooming a successor..elo ba UPND, we all know the story, tribal sentiments prevailed over logic when ba Andy passed on and now they are fighting an up-hill battle to convince us that tribe is immaterial…the story of our political parties!!

  31. “Mr. Mumbi said all positions, including the presidency, are open for contest.” why qualify this? I cannot wait for a replay of the 2000 MMD convention where ‘renegade’ members were thrown out, already some warning shots have been fired by the likes of Guy Scott, and the youths of the copperbelt who told Saviour Chishimba that as far as they know he was not PF and therefore not eligible. If Sata does not go unopposed then there is a likelihood of fielding him against some unknown like Steven Chilatu, current mayor of Lusaka.

  32. #40 very sad story indeed, and what is this I hear that Njekwa Anamela and his group of the so called Revive UNIP forum got a go ahead from the Kaunda Family to reoragnise the party, what is UNIP, national or family party, why should an executive chosen by the people seek authority from a family of how to run a party? UNIP is completely finished now!!!

  33. May some one please post us some details on todays Post headlines

Acting Vice-President and defence minister George Mpombo yesterday said health minister Dr Brian Chituwo’s statement to Parliament last Friday

  34. The days of being obsessed with a political party are long gone. It is very unwise to vote for a political party headed by a stick in the name of being patriotic to the party. What ideas can an innanimate stick bring to drive the party and ultimately the nation ahead. PF like any other party like UNIP, MMD,and UPND have a solemn responsibility of identifying and electing leaders that are capable of bringing and implementing progressive ideas not only to their respective parties but at national and international level.

  35. if PF can come out clean then they will form the next Government , you better believe that. MMD is spent force so is its leadership.

  36. Good luck to PF, if you stick to your last year’s policies limbi we might start thinking of coming back home. So be mature about your convetion , form the next government and we will be willing to come and invest back home. This chinese dominated investors must come to an end

  37. #42 Mwiinga. I must correct this misinformation you have just posted. You are known for your factual comments but this coming from you is way off the mark! (1) The Revive UNIP Forum is led by Gen. Malimba Masheke & not Njekwa Anamela. (2) Anamela is the party Vice President. (3) Based on the untruths that you have presented, I’ll take your allegation against the Kaunda family with a pinch of salt. (4) The truth of the matter is that the Central Committee of UNIP has overstayed its five year mandate & therefore must go to the Congress.

  38. Just another eating session for PF members, who can challenge Sata in PF? The brilliant brains in PF are too loyal to Sata to challenge him.If I were to pick one good brain is “Given Lubinda” That man is a leader. But congrats for PF at last they have a convention at last. Some us condemned them for having a president for life.

  39. Every party should hold convetions after every general elections so that leaders seek fresh mandates from their members. Some leaders hold their positions in perpetuity, thinking they are “God – sent” to lead over others. Now its PF to hold theirs, UNIP should follow instead of the in-fighting and calling of names. UPND should also hold theirs, but this time no tribal wars and no statements that only if you come from Mazoka’s area can you lead the party…Ken Ngondo and his family can also hold theirs so on and so forth. This is called Intra-party democracy. We have a long way to go but this would be a start..

  40. Who will form the electral college at the convention. PF has got no membership cards and no organisational stractures. All the so called party office holders are appointees by Micheal Sata.

The most logicalo thing to dao is to make all PF MPS and councillors into an electral college.Since these are the only ones with a record of having been subjected to an election.

  41. #48 I am sorry for that, I might have heard this in haste, but news on radio phoenix Sunday at 13:00 hours that is where I got the information (regarding Kaunda family clearance), I really heard that it was Njekwa Anamela but again I stand to be corrected. Thanks once more.

  42. #43 “Chituwo’s statement on Levy alarming – Mpombo” headline apparently the post had not yet hit the streets as late as 08:00 hours

  43. Surely does it need a HEART ATTACK for the Dictator(Satan) to realise that in Democracy a convention is a must, shame.
Mind you the only Leader you have in your party is GIVEN LUBINDA,period.I am not saying this so that you start intimidating him the way you are already intimidating Savoiur Chishimba.

  44. He’s just called politicians casual daily employees (what ever that means). Essentially he’s talking about the payment increment for leaders….making some sense but as usual going on and on in circles before making his point.

  45. #61 you know! And I really think he should analyse the issue at hand, this guy sounds like a joke to me.

  46. All talk and not issues what can one say about a convention were people are being advised not to challenge certain individuals. WAKE UP ZAMBIANS!!! We need serious leaders and not thags

  47. #63 he is now making reference to Chiluba’s regime that it did a lot for Zambia because it introduced cell phones. Is Sata okey today?

  48. PF Convention next month & nobody has applied to stand yet.Its a joke.
Sata am hearing your jokes on radio pheonix & my opinion is that make a honourable exit from politics now old man

  49. SATA…..
Where is the 2 Billion kwacha meant for the MMD Convention in Kabwe that you chewed in the ZAF chopper.
Remember how in your hey days that you organised your fellow thugs to beat up MMD and Republican Vice President at the Convention.
Remember how you single handedly fired 22 Cabinet Ministers so that Chiluba will only remain with you to appoint as His replacement for republican President,THANK GOD HE DOES NOT WANT A DICTATOR TO RULE PEACEFUL ZED.

  50. PF will certainly vote you in as the comedy President but as a nation TWAKANA…..God could have already made you President if he wanted.

  51. #61 In the civil service, there are two (2) types of employment. 1) Civil Servants on Permanent & pensionable employment & 2) Casual Daily Employees (CDEs)who are not pensionable. In this category you find drivers, office orderlies, typists and secretaries. After 10 year intervals they get some form of gratuity called Long Service Bonus. Thanks

  52. By the way he is organising a demonstration against the salary increments for those that wish to join him and I think 10 other NGOs are joining him. I think and these are my thoughts, this could be political opportunism.

  53. Listen to this man on radio. I think he is supposed to be a comedian. Because whatever he is sayin g is comical.

  54. His language does not reflect that of a sensible politician, he would be a source of strife and conflict in this Country. My analaysis is even if he was to stand he will still loose in those areas he lost in 2006 and now even along the line of rail!!!

  55. #70. Call it opportunism or whatever you like. At least, he’s doing something about the situation. In any democracy, there is room for political activism as a way of expressing displeasure with the status quo. By the way, it’s not a demo but a rally. Similar but different.

  56. #60, Windhoek,
I honestly did not expect tribal contributions from Namibia in this centuary. I stand to be corrected if i misunderstood you.

  57. fuel at 10000 per litre or 3 dollars per litre!!!mealie meal at 55000 or 17 dollars per 25 kg!!!just a glimpse of the current economic turmoil in this nation……

  58. am at town centre listening with hundreds others..SATA IS STILL ENJOYING ENORMOUS SUPPORT.I would like to see other opposition party presidents organise some sort of reaction to the pay rise..VIVA BA SATA.

  59. I can only support PF if Given Lubunda was made President, because he is more senseable. The old man is just a joker to me he should retire. He is a dictator, he has no clear programmes for this country. If we want magabe in this country lets try him.

Yes he speakes for the poor, but that doesn’t make him a presidential materials.

  60. #81 Quite correct, let us separate tribal politics and phanatism from reality!!!Being an advocate does not make a GOOD LEADER as leader has its own traits which do not manifest itself in phanatism!!!

  61. #80
When people gather to listen to comedy on radio phoenix where Sata is the actor has nothing to do with having “enormous support”. It is a good indicator of how good the actor is. Elections will vindicate your statement.

  62. Sata is a thag and a dictator. He is outdated and needs urgent replacement. Why should there be convention to ralplace a dead wood. Let young men like Lubinda take over before they are bruised by HH.Sata has done a lot of bad things to his friends and they are well knwon by everybody including the most educated man on the blog Poffessor Mutengo Waminga.By the way where is the Proff.

  63. #83 that I agree with you, and as we said on this forum, this is the most nonsensical thing to ever happen after the information starvation we had from Mulongoti. And I smell something here, Sata is saying, only the Attorney General signs bills, why did they use Sichinga Solicitor General to sign the bill who is not authorised to sign bills? This is critical information ladies and gentlemen on how the MMD has continued being crooked and why LPM was a critical factor in this Government. Nonhlanhla #82, maybe someone can summarise the main points that Sata has said, I have failed to come uo with anything meaningful he is all over the place.

  64. Why not this month ? Young men like Saviour Chishimba are itching to take over. Let Sata go and nance his HEART before a Medical Board is ordered for him……………

  65. Why has Sata decided the party should have its convention now? Sata has an ear to the ground chances are he is upto something. I would advise the other parties to be on their marks. Sata definitely knows something and he is in a hurry to legitimise something so that he can get something. Dont be surprised if Sata hits the ground running while the other parties are in slumber land. Watch the space

  66. Ladies and gentlemen sata has his eyes on the ball. Everyone else is watching while he is busy making moves. Indeed Mr Mbulawa your point is valid why has Sata decided to go for a convention now with so little time for the members to organise themselves, and why now when LPM is in Hospital. The radio inteviews will intesify . This is sata for you and by the time you realise he will be in State house. His scenario can be likened to Obama. Obama was under estimated who thougtt a black man would go this far but look at him now. Soon we will be saying who thought a comedian would lead a country

  67. One good thing about Sata is that when he speaks the nation moves. All his talking is news worth and it does not matter whether it sounds positive to one or not.
However my worry is about some of the so called, “young and energetic politicians”, who are always parroting popular opinion all because it will be published like coming from them. But for all i know one of them is so good at picking stories that are have become stale from being discussed in bars, hospitals, buses, offices and markets and putting them in the media spot light. This one, man i can assure you will not get to state house in his life time. Educate me, when did UPND conduct their convention to ligitimise HH’s presidency.

  68. #82, in summary I think I got something after looking at the whole picture, Sata is against the salary increments (Like everybody else), he is against anybody who said something who went against what he believed in, a Masumba and Siulapwa went against him and he called them names in return, for Masumba he (Sata) even went further to rubbish him as a nonentity (I see a dictator here), He thinks Chiluba did better than Mwanawasa is doing (highly debatable). That is what I picked among the heap of words he said because at some point he eveb referred to the fact that Lusaka Provincial Minister walks like an elephant, that Angela Cifire has put on so much weight, that Dora Siliya has become…

  69. Please Zambians be realistics and remember 2006, the voting paterns might still be the same and this time around he might even lose along the line of rail where he though he had tremedious support. He has diluted himself over the years since 2006, much as people might be hungry but they are not fools. This time round they need realistic individuals.

  70. contd 95… slim (thin) because she can afford it by choice, so this is short was the drift of the talk. #94 above, yes that is very true, Sata has a way to connect with people on first impression and that leaves a lasting impression on people. Now like someone said, what if they just listen for the sake of laughing at his jokes, I mean as a comedian for me he did a very good job even today because of his pedestrain language. Sata went into 2001 and 2006 elections without a convention, UPND had conventions before both elections, and being beaten at 80% votes the way Sakwiba was vanquished is no way to illegetimise somebody as not having been fairly elected. A PF convention is long overdue!

  71. Sata appear to have an ear to the ground because he really wants to be a Presdo at all cost. He has no plans for development or future prospects but for plundering and prestige. The man is determined to sell the country and distrbute the wealth to himslf and the Kaponyas without any plan.He wants all the plunderes back in the country and harvest everything like a Monkey in the maize field. Abash plunerers and un productve politicians. We need young men like HH,Chirwa etc. We cant go back.Even LPM is not fit in the current arrangement.

  72. #92 the problem Sata faces is the same one he faced in 2006, regionalisation, he will still not make it to state house because the distribution of his popularity and if truth be told even his own party I doubt thinks he is going to state house and the earlier they deal with this issue, the better, for me Given Lubinda could do something for PF. First he speaks English most of the time so he cannot be accused of being …. which has contributed to the demarketing of Mr Sata in some provinces namely Southern, North Western and Western and the Easterners do not just trust the man, this is based on imperical data, nothing scientific guys.

  73. #@26 i AGREE WITH YOU upnd IS VERY SELLABLE in Southern Province and will continue to be led by a provincia cahirman One HH

  74. # 75. Actually I attended the Newsmakers forum at Lusaka playhouse were he was the guest last month. It was all comical. Thats the rite place he is supposed to be. Bloggers here debate more sensibly than what I saw. We need intelligent people like you guys to attend these meetings and ask sensible questions than the bunches that are there. Actually, the nature of the questions can help shape some of these politicians on what areas they should work on.

  75. #89 MWiinga. Am a bit behind. Have no access to the radio now. Kindly clarify for me the Bill you mentioned above.Arent we in trouble with this current crop of Ministers?
By the way, I dont support Sata as President either of the Party or Nation but if he is starting a demo or rally, I support the idea 100%. We (Zambians) have been domant for too long and the likes of Mulongoti are now riding on us!

  76. I hate Sata’s macho approach to issues more so that we are in the 21st age where women have now earned a place in the world out of the achievements they have made than out of favours.
However for me HH does not also augur well for president. Reason is, i can not support a president who was elected to the position in his own party purely on his tribe. With that precedent i will not be suprised, if at all he became president, when he appoints tribesmen to position of strategic importance in government. Miyanda, RB, Sikota and even Lubinda will do for plot one for me.

  77. viva rally/demonstrations! abash political masturbation. when and where is the rally. ichivivi, kale mwe. twalilaba amavibes
    Viva power to the people…
    did i hear viva?

  78. hypothetically mmd(government officials)are awarding themselves with heft salaries. looks like exit stretegy. hefty salaries means the first lady will benefit from the approved new conditions before they declare lpm unfit. the parliament is in cession and am sure will adjourn on appr. pf going for conversion looks like preparing for presidential bye-election. hh campanying for 20011 looks like it just a jimmick but for eminant presidential bye-election. reading thru the lines mwanga’s phoenix tv interview yesterday was clear, the nation has no chose but to revoke certain closes and move on with replacing president.
so you guys get ready for the eventual exit of lpm sooner rather than lat

  79. #79 Mwiinga. I was listening to the programme right here in Zambia. With an open mind and a not fixed disposition like yours. And just what is wrong with being in the diaspora? As far as I know, Radio Phoenix is online so you can pick this issues from anywhere in the world. Let’s not discriminate against our fellow Zambians simply because they are outside the country.

  80. #18,Nga ba Levy finshi balepepa, and for him he is even younger, but I agree with you on the state of health of any one aspiring to be a KK, FTJ, LPM or Hangombe Hwa Ngombe

  81. iwe chi # 103,its about PF going for convention, now lets us all well meaning PF members focus on electing YOUTHFUL leaders,OUR PRESIDENTIAL CANDITATE,GIVEN LUBINDA is to be urshed in as our PF NEXT PRESIDENT.Pls let us give him the support he is winning.

  82. #102 Caesar, hai, when the salaries for constitutional officer holders are reviewed they prepare a bill to pass in Parliament.

  83. But is Given ready to challenge SATA, but based on the current media statements he might pass through unopposed and probabaly be challenged by a nobody just to ensure and legitimise his presidency!11

  84. #107 “#79 Mwiinga. I was listening to the programme right here in Zambia. With an open mind and a not fixed disposition like yours. And just what is wrong with being in the diaspora? As far as I know, Radio Phoenix is online so you can pick this issues from anywhere in the world. Let’s not discriminate against our fellow Zambians simply because they are outside the country.” Let me clear this, I was asking to find out if you were listening with no intent to discriminate because the last time I checked Coppernet who carry that stream were not providing it, so I did not intend to. If I have a fixed disposition, this I will not comment let other bloggers judge me on that.

  85. 104-Umwina kalale-its you who has a problem. Why should sata think like you??? Let him do his approach, if no one turns un for his rally-fine.

Sata has never/will never complain that you dont think like him.

If the police will give us permission for a rally-chek the numbers-you will be shocked/chocked.

Who tells you that a peaceful demo is not for 21st century? In canada, china, USA,RSA, its happening, its one way of communicating your grivences.

We in the PF, patriotic we are-once again the boat has started sailing.

When Levy was handed victory, Sata said This is only a temporaly setback.

  86. GIVEN PLS THIS IS OUR TIME TO TAKE THE COUNTRY’S HUGE CHALLEGES,NO GOING BACK.THE SUPPORT IS THERE,YOU’RE THE NEXT PRESIDENT.

  87. Thanx Mwiinga. Am ok. Have now followed. #91, you are very right, infact following the recent happenings, many “Big People” are quite aware of what is happening. Just like #106 rightly puts it. But you can also see that there is a lot of evil plotting going by the behaviour of the people in Government.
I mean, how do you explain Mpombo criticising Chituwo for the update he gave in Parliament? Now it looks like anyone who comes up with an LPM update suggesting that replacement is required soon, becomes “Anti-Govt’s Position”
#105 Ms Zambia 2010, naine nachifuluka icho wachilumbula apo!

  88. 113. Did you understand my blog, from your reaction you did not i am afraid. I did not mention a demo in my blog, but Sata’s macho approach and demeaning of ladies like Dora and Angela. Do not give fodder to those attacking Sata, that look his supporters are people like Chinsali MP who are but empty tins with a lot of noise.
I don’t understand the whole issue of demonstrating coming into my blog. Demonstartions as conducted in the places you mentioned are well planned and targeted for the right cause. Unlike some of the demonstartions i have seen in zambia were most of the those participating don’t even know the issue at hand or let alone the what demo itself is about.

  89. Ubwato bakaamba,bambi nabo ati pa cibwato,Efinshi..
is it time 2go fishing?i hope they will not use mosquito nets again.Recall the nice time 4 those on Taitanic, after hitting the iceberg it stated sinking.Kwali imisowa shekasheka.it shouldn’t happen at there conve.

  90. WATCH OUT,GIVEN IS EVER READY AS YESTERDAY,PF IS NOT FOR SATA OR GUY SKOT.LUBINDA IS NEXT PF COMMAND IN CHIEF.AS VOTERS WE SHALL DELIVER HIM THERE.

  91. This is not the first PF has mentioned of a convention. They have talked about this convention many times but nothing takes place. This convention will not take place. mark my words, it is only next month, the month will go just like that. PF is is never consistent. There will be no convention, ask me on 30th september. They are just a bunch of jokers and commedians.

  92. COME PF ELECTIONS,WE ALL KNOW WHOM TO VOTE AS PRESIDENT,GIVEN LUBINDA IS GOT FIVE PROVINCES ALREADY 100% SUPPORT.AND 30% OTHER REGIONS.HON.LET US MOVE AND LOBBY FOR MORE SUPPORT.

  93. Mwiinga u are blind and deaf to all coming from SATA as you were born thinking all only the maize and cow region, has the monopoly of grey matter issues and thats why all you hear and see is the sound of HH.

Sata’s radio programme was powerful judging by the callers commending him (togo on) and only about two were against him..one of them was a Siulapwa (New generation party leader) and member of NCC.

You missed the humour in his comments on current ministrs..he said they are geting more and more fat at the expense of starving majority of Zambians. WHY are you insisting that he exit..are you sacred of him (so HH can remain alone)…let him stand for any position and voters will decide

  94. You may like it or not-PF is forming the next govt.

Of course i have no time to educate those that do not know the above fact.

    Pa bwato!!!!!!!

I suggest that H.H the provincial chairman also goes on radio this week we see how many pipo will listen to him.

When Sata was on radio-Lusaka,copperbelt and cental came to a standstill.

Say waht you want-insult us-we are taking over

  95. I am perplexed by this ‘Tribal Party’ thing. These Regional Parties are what make Politics tick in many countries actually. India for one wouldn’t be called the biggest Democracy if these Regional Parties were not there. India has only two national parties which in essence have never won a majority on their own to form government. Most of the time the two big one (the BJP and the Congress Party) depend on smaller regional parties for coalitions if they have to form government. Belgium is the same. What is the fuss of having these little Parties in Zambia if you have MMD and PF or UPND. Think critically Zambia.

  96. Let the delegates be drawn from all the provinces of Zambia not just Lusaka, Copperbelt, Northern and Luapula otherwise it will be a failure

  97. #123 please support PF and I will support UPND, it is not my choice that I am from Southern Province, however I have made a choice to support UPND, I missed the humour, maybe it was too humourous that I dismissed it as a comedy show. I did not call for Sata’s exit, please check your facts, what I do know is that Sata’s chances of ruling the country are quite slim, this is just politics about my maize and cows and all, please let me enjoy my Mabisi and Musozya in peace it was not my choice to be born in a province where the only food we knew as children was Mabisi, nyama for the same cows just like Tetamashimba did not choose to be kaonde and be accused of coming from six koloko.

  98. Conventions don’t work in Zambia, they are there to deceive us. Look at the UNIP, UPND, FDD & MMD and yet to be seen with PF. It’s like bringing a Germany Sheppard, poodle or fluffy all these are dogs it doesn’t matter the breed.

  99. IAM SET TO CHALLENGE MR. SATA. TIME HAS COME FOR DEMOCRASY TO PREVAIL. PF IS FOR EVERY ONE. VOTE HAMIYANZE PF PRESIDENCY.

  100. I mean, if the MMD, PF can be accepted by the electorate nation wide but can’t win an election outright (with the 51% that is being demanded ) wouldn’t be a wise idea for one of them to go into a coalition with say the UPND or any other smaller Party like PUDD, FDD etc? With the proliferation of parties in our country you will one election year be faced with having to go for an election not once, not twice, but maybe four times to have an ultimate winner. Watch out.

  101. Not only that but serious people from all the provinces not kaponyas who have no clear understanding of Zambian politics!!!

  102. I hope PF will have a geniunely democratic convention. We have already started hearing comments of “getting bruised” at the Convention.

  103. no. 120, i think you are right. PF has talked about holding their convention many times but nothing comes out of all those talks. lets wait and see if this time around they will honour it. inconsistences and lies are the major enemies of PF

  104. #128 Mwiinga, You dont have to be apologetic for anything. This has nothing to do with food eaten in the Southern Province or what not. Last time Satana managed those few votes because of the Malawian Witch Doctor that decieved him. But God doesnt allow Zambia to be ruled by WitchCraft. Fact is, his chances are not even slim. There are not there at all!! Those of you who still live in the pipe dream of seing that rotten old guard ruling this country you will choke with pain, because, truth be told, HE WILL NEVER RULE ZAMBIA!
PF maybe a good party, but look for a better leader if you want any chance to win come election time! Get that in your thick *****!

  105. On all the political parties I admire the seriousness of the African National Congress ANC of RSA, unlike our political parties which are personal to holder properties, look at the ruling party its a shame I must say.

Who can you personally say is the owner of the ANC?
The great party has been in the capable hand of men and women of purpose and direction under the guidance of Lithuli,Sisulu, Tambo, Mandela, Mbeki and now Zuma just to mention but a few. Here is a political party standing the test of time. In Zambia its personal, family or ethinic affairs.

  106. #124 HH has been on radio several times and has received overwhelming response from callers! He appeals to a cross section of Zambians who appreciate reason above rhetoric. In case you’re living in utopia, let me remind you that Zambia is not just those three places yyou have mentioned.

  107. 124,DON’T BE SHALLOW,NOT ONLY PF MEMBERS ARE ZAMBIAN AND TNE ONLY VOTERS TO VOTE FOR MADALA BULLY COBRA M.SATANA.NO TWAKANA,ENOUGH IS ENOUGH FOR PLUNDERS AND SO CALLED POLLITICAL ENGINEER.WE THE PEOPLE OF ZAMBIA WITH OUR VOTING RIGHTS WILL DECIDE RIGHTFULLY AND CAREFULLY VOTE FOR A WELL QUALIFIED ZAMBIAN FIT TO RULE THE ALL THE 9 PROVINCES.UPND AND H.H WILL BE VOTED TO RUN COUNTRY’S AFFAIRS TO BENEFIT CITIZENS.LETS SUPPORT FELLOWS TO MOVE THE COUNTRY FORWARDS.HH WE BEHIND YOU.COME ELECTIONS YOU WIN PRESIDENCE,GRZ.

  108. iyeeee? you think even if the presidential sit is open PF memebers are going to vote out sata. takuli

no one will even challenge him. bachiyopa. Ba PF u do not do conventions so drop it.

  109. I think we still have a very big problem of cardrism in this country. Why cant we be issue based, fuel is ever increasing, unequal pricing yet its one country. Cement is still expensive, the kwacha is still struggling, poverty levels are ever rising.

Can someone tell me the policy mechanism of these parties in reducing poverty? i mean Zambias poverty not VIP poverty!

  110. Convention or not, the hour has come for the MMD to book out. Bully or not, Sata is our Man for state house. Poor health or not Sata thinks better than most politicians who parrot other people’s words. Those who have hatred for Sata are just jealous of his political abilities & otherwise. If u r for UPND or whatever party, pls just peddle your parties without disparaging the King Cobra-his vernom can be lethal. We all know how poisonous he can be. Viva PF, Viva Sata!!!!

  111. #140 Too much Capital letters, are you trying to justify what cannot be justified in plain and ordinary prints?

  112. People dont even consider SATA he smokes the wrong mbanje.

The guy should just rest peacefully.

You who are supporting him are killing him.

    That’s my rap.

  113. This time around we wont make another mistake of voting for unpopular presdo in the name HH. peepe maasa, Lubinda is the man!

  114. #142 Spot on. The issue here is Policies one has for the development of the Country not this Regional Talk we hear about now. Looks like the tag of war now is “Who is more popular, and not who is capable of doing what for the Country”
When Obama was asked for a comment regarding criticisms from McCain he simply said, ” Let McCain tell the people of what he can do, and and not what Obama can not do.” I wish this blog could follow that line of thought. What can our prefered candidate do for the country and not concetrating on the negatives of our opponent…Besides, I even find it absurd for anyone to start speaking against someone based on cows and milk….Do we even realise how much meat

  115. Sata is too sick to be president. We dont want a presidential by- election. He almost stopped the “let the pipo talk” progrmme today in the middle because he got tired. If the serpent was fine he could have been in the field campaigning. If he has problems with just sitting and talking, what about running the affairs of this country? He is as good as dead.

  116. Cont 147..and milk products we consume everyday in Zambia?
Infact it would be more ideal under this topic if we could try to analyse the PF leadership and determine if they need change or sticking to Sata, than speaking against HH or else it becomes an issue of personalities not development.

#146 I agree with you on Lubinda. Indeed he is the man, but Maybe you need to be sure Lubinda goes through the PF presidency against Sata before you even pit him against HH, that is assuming that the convention will truly be there.

  117. Lubinda is a very bad womaniser and childish,no development in Kabwata,so many bars and nite clubs!you chaps,is that what you call development?VIVA Chishimba,Nevers,HH and Saki!!abash immoral leaders….

  118. Conversation between two sheep

“The sooner he eats me the better, so that my pain will not be much.” Exclaimed Voter.

“I would offer my leg first, as soon as I see him” sheep added.

  119. The affairs of a Nation are much safer in the hands of People in their 50’s and above. Behold, ‘behind every riches there is a crime’. Can someone tell us how someone I will not name became so rich at a young age. We all work just as hard as the next fellow but what have we got to show for it? Once we r assured there is no stollen riches somewhere then we can start talking presidency here. How can we trust such people with the resources of the nation when they coverted the little they were entrusted with? Looters are all over the place & they come in all shapes & sizes & sugar coated language of salvation!

  120. No Lubinda for President, no Lozis at or near plot 1 for the next 40 years that includes Lubinda, Sakwiba and the rest of them.

Sata for President until 2011 only. After 2011, Sata will need to be replaced with a young leader, may be HH and Prof Chirwa can eye 2011.

  121. 144 and 146 be reasonable, its about time you comment constructively not just to think shallowly for the sake of personal pombasness and joking about serious national issues.Zambia is not for sata and pf to contest elections only.Let you face reality,in multipartism you have to compete,Now this time around us the Zambians will vote for HH our fellow youth, pakwanja chambee.H.H zambia forward.we shall vote you for the republican president.

  122. #157 I beg to differ with you a bit. I dont know how safe this country was in the hands of Chiluba who was definitely above 50? Just next to us we have seen a very young President in thename of Kabila managing the affairs of DRC almost in the best way possible since the time of Mobuto.
I would be prejudicial to answer your question about someone becoming rich at a young age, but are you saying young people should not work and get rich for fear of suspicion? I know HH is been attacked several times for that but, we all know very well that interms of having intelligence information in Zambia, noone beats Sata, and am sure if he had information regarding HH’slooting, he would be singing about

  123. Mwiinga now you sound more and more like HH. You just parroted his words ” I did not choose to be born in Southern province” when he is refered to as a provincial president.. we also did not choose to be born in copperland..and capital centre..

#149 dont mislead bloggers..Having delivered his message /theme..Sata said he had another meeting with people on the ground from Easten province. He however went on with the radio programme when Maduma requested that he stays on..and sounded even more energetic.

  124. WE HAD KK.FTJ,LPM,next is H.H.Pls lets give H.H the neede votes,we know and believe the youngman win make it this time around.PAKUBOKOO GUYS.

  125. 163,YOUR THINKING IS OF A PLUNDER THOSE GUYS SATA AND CO.WILL NEVER BE VOTED FOR AS YOU DON’T SUPPORT KALABO PEOPLE,COME ELECTIONS,YOU WILL NOT GET IT COBRA SATA

  126. Zambia has no Acting President or Vice President Chief government spokesperson, Mike Mulongoti says on ZNBC that is no one acting as vice President in Zambia.
Mr. Mulongoti said the Vice President, Rupiah Banda carries his position and continues acting as head of state.
He said this is because President Levy Mwanawasa did not appoint anyone to act in the position.
Mr. Mulongoti said Mr. Banda was appointed by President Mwanawasa to act as head of state.
Chief government spokesperson told ZNBC news the minister of defence, George Mpombo is head of parliament.

Did’ t Mulongoti say a few weeks ago that RB was officially acting President, He is saying LPM never left anyone any one to act.

  127. 166. we are not dealing with this rubbish for now. why not ask Mulongoti these stupid queries you are posting here. the topic of the moment is the convention for PF. who cares whether there is acting this or that. the truth of the matter is that we still have our levi and he will come back after his treatmet in France. so why should you bother honourable people on this blog with your cheap talk. go get some sleep. you really need it.

“You are posting comments too quickly. Slow down.” LT THIS IS NOT FUNNY

  128. Go Sata go. ala ba Sata baume, don worry he will be well. We will be praying for him. we want to come back home so we need a president like him. Twanaka no bulaya mweee.

  129. twanaka no bulaya. kalingalingalinga nayeve nibulaya lomba ka. wenye a bemba muleke. pomwepo mukulabila ati mwalema kunkala kubulaya.nicani lomba chemuzochita ngamwa wela kuno kuzambia pakuti simuzakwanisa kusebenza mu chimbuzi pa town centre.

  130. Cairo Road…I really like this personal committment you have for Pf and Sata. Thats what they call “Patriotism.” And if maintained it goes beyond Party confines…it becomes national where ever you go!
However, you sound to me like you really have a personal vandetta against Mwiinga. Do you really have any other reason to attack him apart from the fact that he supports HH just like you support Sata. Lets try to be more objectives in our arguments than dwelling on irrelevant matters. And when you say we did not chose to be born in Copperland who do you refer to? Who is the “We”? Which group of people hails from Copperland/and/or Capital Centre?

  131. #166 thats a avery sad development if indeed it is true. i can sence a greviuous power and system strugle in the govt. it seems the instruments of power are all over the place. The centre cant hold anymore. Everyone carefully watch this space and remember you are your brother’s keeper. God bless this great nation.

  132. Yakumboyo don just think that pipo living abroad ba cleaner vimbuzi. We have good jobs en we earn alot to support our families but we miss home so much. We cant come back because of crazy pipo in mmd thus why we need ba shikulu ba sata.

Da man has got plans for zambia. we will all come back, atleast we will get to own shops which the chinese pipo have now.

  133. # 169, You seem like a person with a small brain and someone who has accessed education by entering school through windows. Can you not read between the lines that current politics in the country have something to do with Levy’s absence. This has nothing to do with whether you are in love with LPM or Not.

  134. 179. you made a good observation but diluted it by throwing a salvo at Conman. i did not enter school through the window nor do i have a small brain. learn to have respect for elders young *****. you call your self pragmatist but you are not pragmatic. ive been following your postings and to be honest i think you are one of the dull chaps we have on this blog. i can not comapre you for instance to Mr Mwiinga, Anonymous, Muzungu et al. you are to put it simple a microcosm of what a perfect stupid ***** can be.

  135. #147 Caesar thats the point, development of the Country not this political chitenge and airport dances we are witnessing on this blogg

  136. Beware of “Populist” politics about to take over in zambia. This idea of saying something funny or hwat pipo want to hear, then we all jump “president”, thats immature politics. And we are way past that era of stone throwers. All the parties will choose their elader, I guess.Let all these leader sell themselves to the masses, lets introduce national debates, ask these leaders their manifestos on current issues in Zambia.I’m not of the idea of speaking at town centre and all kaponyas scream “president” and that should go.lastly, lets debate issues here not tribal and personal attacks, please you bore with this bemba, tonga nonsense.

  137. # 162 Chiluba is an exception to the rule and an embarassment to my theory. But generally the theory applies well. The DRC president is indeed young but then when it comes to the running of that nation I cannot say much as the results are there for all to see. Would you say there is a responsible govt there? Maybe you are better informed on DRC. I have no problem with young people working hard and getting rich. I also would like to be rich & I work just as hard to achieve that. But my riches should be comensurate with my hard work. My riches should be beyond suspicion & no secrecy!

  138. And I admire the ANC, because even their President is quite respected because they know the kind of system on which he was chosen, not these politics of one man party and you are even scared of holding a convention. #137 thanks for the advice, actually I was not apologising to the lady/gentleman (assuming s/he is) but just trying to let him know that once I am born there is nothing one can do about who I am. And you see this same mabisi has now become a hit with non southerners because it is now packed by Parmalat.

  139. #174 Echo, I think if my memory saves me right, when levy was leaving RB had just lost the mother and it was paramount for levy to leave the instruments with mpombo coz levy knew he was going to be back after a week. thats why you cant refer to anyone officially as acting president, as at now.

  140. sata is a mad man,its only HH or lubinda to lead zambia,we are tired of these bemba thieves thats why we run away with our degrees and find better jobs here cos bembas were only promoting party cadres like micheal bwalya as DC,the man has never seen a classroom before,

  141. #163 maybe that is when it will sink in some of our colleagues here, when we parrot it, otherwise why is it that everytime we make reference to not being Sata’s supporters we are quickly labelled for what we are as natives not for our political alignment. So as long some people continue making that reference we feel obliged to defend ourselves, because the next step will be to oechestrate a genocide the results if which I don’t need to repeat. Caesar thanks a lot, we have differed several times on this blog with you and we have agreed several times but we have never sunk so low as to start calling each other names. Thanks mate.

  142. #180 “i can not comapre you for instance to Mr Mwiinga, Anonymous, Muzungu et al. you are to put it simple a microcosm of what a perfect stupid ***** can be” is it lack of a wide vocabulary why all your posts have to be laced with demeaning and insulting words? I am told everytime you learn a language you learn the insults first (donot quote me the theory is not tested)! Please keep learning Mr/Ms Conman, you will get a grip of the english vocab soon, we shall know when STUPID, *****, IMBECILE etc drop from your posts, good luck in your night school.

  143. Say what you want-we are taking over.

I lam challenging all those that are supporting H.H. to tell us who they voted for in 2001. I am sure they voted for Mazoka

I voted for Gen tembo in 2001, Sata in 2006.

Tell us we see who is tribal

If the police permit will be given to PF this saturday-take note of the numbers-if you are not PF, i am sure the numbers will choke/shock you.

Twalateka agian-you chaps will scamper, you will run.

I once read this “Democracy is qualitative not quantitative”

PF-we have the numbers and this time around we are taking on MMD which is not united-the boat is sailing!!!!!!!!!

  144. ZAMBIA WILL HAVE TO TAKE ANOTHER 50 YEARS IN ORDER TO MATURE POLITICALLY, STARTING WITH OUR LEADERS THEY ARE NOT MATURED, IF A YOUNG MAN LIKE BARRACK OBAMA CAN REASON PROPERLY THAN MOST CHAPS WE CALL HONARABLE.

Namibia which was born right in our eyes has matured, here we are falling.

People like Sata were suppose to inspire young up coming leaders like Ms Mumbi Phiri, Given Lubinda etc

  145. HH surprises me he is handsome, he educated, he is rich, well travelled, but why does he fail to attract numbers?

  146. #185 Anonymous. Correct me if i am wrong, but I remember last time when Mulongoti was justifying the salary increamemts he refered to the fact that RB as the Acting VP could approve the salaries even if Mwanawasa had not approved them. But if what 166 (His Leadership) is saying is true, then as Echo truely echos it, it makes a sad development in our Government because this creates an impression that purely People in power will change their statements anytime to suit their needs at a particular time.By the way, thanx His Leadership for this kind of information. I hope its reliable though!

  147. #191 this was my votinging in 1996, 2001, 2006 Dean Mung’omba, Mazoka and Hichilema, very simple, these guys portrayed a very professional look to me and let us face it in Malaysia you can only stand as MP with a minimum of Bachelor’s degree (someone correct me if there is contrary information), so that is why, why did you vote for Sata Mr 191

  148. The demonstrations are not necessary at all Sata!you knew such a thing was in the pipeline and was waiting till LPm goes right?it won’t hel you mudala….just stay home and nurse your plastic heart you got after all it was bought using tax payers’ money!!we need decent and clean leaders….VJ will make sure you don’t rule satana !!the first reading went thru in parley and all your MPs never obhected to it!what hypocrites they are!!

  149. we got to have Degre holder in plot 1…no less than that!these dunder heads are thieves, look at what kafupi did?Sata will do the same ….we don’t need illiterates there!!

  150. No 193, i share your sentiments.

The best thing that H.H. will ever do is to be the guest of honour at Lwindi ceremony since he is a tribal chairman.

Zambain president-H.H. will never be. i dont neen to explain why just like i see no reason to exaplain that Galagata(Zambian boxer) will one day be the best zambian footballer.

    H.H.—Moo-moo!!!!

  151. The blog is now being controlled by BA NYADULE STOOGES!!!Hence lose of objectivity, mature postings, insults, personalisation (LIKE CYCLE which is common for supporters), Tribalistic postings, demeaning statements. AND YET you claim you are from a Christian nation?

  152. Ngooyu mubwa umbi!!musatanyoko shi Mutale…uli mubwa ununka nsuu…you are useless and so stinking corrupt and lazy…poor chap….leave HH alone….after all even you dogs have never had a Bemba rule Zambia, never in the history of zambia.you tribalists are so hopeless and scaring our development…we shall jail you all…will talk to Mpombo tonight and Shikapwasha so that the buggers should be hammered on Saturday..

  153. 191 Chinsali MP, if truly you are an MP, then you must be a very boring one indeed!! I even wonder who voted for you if you are one, or who can vote for such a maggot like you if you are aspiring to be one! From the time you started posting staff on this blog all you know is “Twalateka again-you chaps will scamper, you will run.” Go and do fishing, I think you would do better, Burger!!!
There are many of us who support Pf here but you make us all look like we have the same thuggery mentality as yours in the Party.Lets just campaign for our Party, and leave the UPND to do their job. If they are tribal, let the electrorate judge them!

  154. banyandule from Luapula and northern provinces are rejoicing becoz of LPM’s illness.shame on you and God will judge you…He will make sure no one from there rules…Sata with a plastic heart akufa next week!

  155. Chi Hakaivote Himwine is a coward why is he quite over such important issue, he only talks when its stale news. Let him go and rule pemba village.

  156. Chinsali MP,that simply tells us of the kind of leaders you guys from there have!am so ashamed to even call that nyandule mp.

  157. ka number 212,am so ashamed of you…am sure you are congolese…HH ored commented even b4 granny stana with a plastic heart did!tough luck galu iwe !!

  158. #209 & #216 since you are so annoyed go and kill yourself galu iwe, bcoz you not worth living with stinking mouth!!

  159. Buju

Say H.H. Moo-mooo!!!!! Does this ring any bells to you?

H.H is a former cow header(Kachema wa ngombe in bemba), surely a former cow hearder to rule zambia, No,NO!!!!!!!!!

We are taking over and soon H.H. kachema wa ngombe will be irrelevant.

You chaps will run-you will scamper for safety

    H.H. Moo-mooo!!!!!

  160. This is when I leave, ifwe ba mature fimo fimo filatushupa ukulanda ati WE in reference to politics and tribe, natina!

  161. How can we make Given realise that we want him for president in PF. Iam do not belong to any party, but I like the guy because of reasoning at every forum. The old man people is truly a comedian, that more people assemble to listen to him. we need a new vision, the likes HH, Lubunda etc. mind you iam bemba but I dont believe in these tribal issues. Atleast lets look around for fit and mindful young Zambians to lead us. One with a proper manifesto.

  162. Anonymous 205, I dont know if you are the same anonymous I responded to earlier on at 185. But now am a bit confused more. Mulongoti refered to RB as Acting President when talking about salaries. Today after the Post refers to Mpombo as Acting VP, Mulongoti disputes this and says he cant be Acting VP because there is a VP in the country. Further that there is no Ag President, but RB is Ag Head of State. Now these terms maybe confusing to a layman. Is there a difference between Acting President & Acting Head of state?
And by the way, are you saying the confusion of who holds the instruments of power between Mpombo & RB wasnt cleared?

  163. This is a summary of the level of Zedian development!!! People have become tribal and lost objective thinking, and do not understand tenents of a leader let alone a democratic despersation and hence we have Holigans and Thags taking charge of Governance because we the so called intellectuals have placed ourselves in corners discussing issues of no academic relevance to the welfare of the many zambians out there.

  164. Why should i say they will not scamper when they will scamper.

The fact is that they will run, they will scamper.

We wont make them to run and scamper-the hatred they have for PF is what will make them scamper.

Twalateka again-You chaps will run-you will samper for safety!!!!!!

  165. Chinsali MP if you a true Zambian then my advise is please note that your short conclusion is what is making the people of Luapula some the poorest chaps in Zambia and yet they claim this has been the province of rulers. Twalateka at the expense of objective thinking is childish and very tribal. Please check the map of Zambia and you will note this Country is now awake and I don’t think they will give chances to Holigans again (NEVER). 2006 WILL REPEAT ITSELF and my summary is the Holigans will be LPM at the Percy Hospital before his arrival as there will be too many casualties Good DAY!!!

  166. Buju you are back? You are the worst tribalist on this blog, your postings are simply pathetic. I think i would rather vote for SAKWIBA OR LUBINDA not these tribalists who think that they can be presdo by being voted for by people from MONZE OR CHOMA. Anyway we shall see, the majority always wins.VIVA LUBINDA VIVA

  167. To those who get emotional on this blog-my advice is:-
It is wise to direct your anger towards problems, not people; to focus your energies on answers , not excuses.
Lets be objective and stop this tribal talk, it does not feel good. They say ‘be careful what u wish for because u might just get it’. Do you think Rwanda and Burundi wanted what happened to happen? But it started just like this. You might its just blogging but check out the emotions. So please countrymen, let us all slow down, calm down. You claim to be educated people and I believe some of you are trully educated. But when you start insulting each other, threatening each

  168. #223 Caesar switch to the Mulongoti VP story, we can meet there and discuss, this post has become conjested with tribal talk, I am uncomfortable

  169. ka popopo ubwipi !! look at you with a ka forehaed and tummy!shame on you…your province shall forever be poor …hallelujah!! hahahahahaaa…ask danny pule he prophesied…

  170. Guys i have to go-We (PF) are doing some door to door sensitization todayin some areas of lusaka.

we are taking over-say what you want.

You chaps….you know what i mean

  171. # 187,

You are either my brother or my mbuya. Please chill-out and lets continue getting educated and leave the lazy ones fighting for political positions back home.

  172. While china show cases its rise from porvety with the birds nest stadium, we are here fighting each other on what tribe we belong to. By the way, some of the materials used in the construction of the birds nest are from africa!!! think of it this way, what percentage does your tribe constitute of the entire world population? we need to elect leaders based on principles, not tribe!!!
it was recently reported that since independence in 1960 Nigerians have embezzled their own govt of $400 Billion!!! While!

  173. I smell cocroaches here. Too smelly and stinky. Cocroaches please go to your land we do not need you here. The forum is stinking because of you. Start with chief cocroach popopo and underneath his balls ka chinsali mp who resembles a monkey.

  174. I like HH. He behaves like like zamtel. While others had long introduced introduced the sharing of talk time, thats when they are busy advertising the introduction of that facility on their platform. Not very different from HH, when all have spoken on a topic,he is usually the last one to do so and consolidated all the good points from others to look like he is well schooled on the topic in question. When one plagiarises from others (umwembeshi) their output looks like they know what they where doing when in fact not. HH is always last to comment on issues, even on the medical review board about Levy, i bet he will also come out last. What a waste of leadership viva viva. Vivula.

  175. Mwiinga if indeed you are the real one who wrote that rubbish, then ive lost the respect for you and be ready for my missiles you *****. Being chief blogger does not entitle you to control and respond to every comment. I will bewitch your penis if you continue writing trash about me.

  176. Every zanbian who reasons in tribal lines is not only foolish but ,uneducated, unreasonable, immature, a retard, i mean no matter how much you justify yourself, for as long as you have contributed to any tribal discussion as in taking sides you are not worthy any respect.YOU ARE “MENTALLY RETARDED”period.

  177. Sata has aged bane,we nid fresh blood.Lubinda or chishimba can move pf foward.trust me this country will b a dictator if u allow sata again .bravo Chishimba,u came out when everyone was scared of the cobra.continue trusting in God.chinsali MP is insane. 178. Guys let us have a bemba president this time and see how things go. At the end of the day, we need a popular, well educated and experienced person who is bemba to be the next President of Zambia. That way, this myth of the bemba tribe will come to an end. I would however encourage people to look more on the leadership qualities than tribe. Most people in Zambia seem to be concerned about bembas this and that so instead of thoeries, let us have a leader who is a Bemba nkonko to lead this nation. However, if we have elections within the next 3 months, Sata (NOT Bemba) would win the elections because he was busy campaigning while every body else was kissing ba LPM’s matako just to get jobs.

  179. #244 My friend ignore this Buju bcoz he is satanist who depend entire on seek blood of his fellow human being for his leaving.

  180. #244 My friend just ignore this Buju devil bcoz he is a satanist who depend entirely on seeking blood of his fellow human being for his livelihood.

  181. Am no satanist. I hate everything that begins with these four letters sata(n) . So if you as anonymous are an agent of the devil then good luck to you.

  182. You guys above, I know some one who can bewitch someone without personally being acquinted with the victim.

I can assist any of you if you so wish. Just tell me I will provide you with the details.

    Hoping to hear from you.

  183. #240, my apologies that was a post out of context, i miss read the comment, my apologies and I humbly submit.

  184. Zimbabwe with an inflation rate in the millions has so far won 3 silver medals in Beijing. How many has Zambia with two heads of state (one of them Mpombo) won? Noughto noughto ! Zambia, the real Africa!

  185. SAD NEWS GENTLEMEN/WOMEN. THE PF CONVENTION WILL BE FUNDED BY KATUMBI, that plunderer from Congo. Am very disappointed with SATA. This old man likes bloody money. He will sell our country over a few dollars. SHAMEFUL

  186. 253 kindly shed more light and avoid dangerous speculations. we want details of this deal and kindly give us the source. if this is not correct prepare for the worst. there is new technology which when applied will smoke you out from where you are writing this trash from. kindly learn to speak some sense before this honourable site and people. you foolish man.

  187. no. 255, What more light do you need. That is the truth and the only truth. Use your brains properly. Just common sence, when did PF held a fund raising venture to rise money for their meeting, for 6500 deligates? You fool, this is not trash, am more connected to PF than you are, only that i dont support this stupid move by PF. You must know that Katumbi is not yet through with Zambia. He is now using weak and wicked minds of the likes of Sata and Chiluba to have access to our resourses. OPEN YOUR CLOSED HEAD.

  188. I can smell a rat in PF. Banda (256) could be right. Sata is capable of doing anything. Have you forgotten about a sack of dollars he wanted to smuggle from south africa, the pass port issue, the money from the Taiwan etc. Am worried for my country.

  189. 256. the source i was looking for is not from your ugly head. i wanted your speculation to be backed by some element of truth if you wanted us to take you seriously. like it is now, i think this still remains a figment of your own imagination and will not leave your head until you tell us the source of your story. if you are that close to PF why cant you give us the low down on who is contesting for which seat other than telling us this gabbage you have just regagitated from your belly.

  190. zambians u really are a shame to yourselfs , ur children and africa, always talkin the loudest with zero result … u dont even need a role model , u as good as dead. keep on cheap talks and watch ur neigbours prosper…..

  191. #247 Get your stinking armpit and stinking socks out this blog you punkie (wanwuka mukwapa notusokoshi), it is getting dark go and worship your master the devil otherwise you wont get your mabishi & chibwatu!!

  192. I think Zambia is a free country if HH is to rule he will rule if Sata is to rule he will rule. All this fighting among bloggers is unwarranted. In my opinion both Candidates have something to offer or else neither of them would have a following…

  193. NO. 259, Mr. Conman, this information is not coming from my imagination, it is the truth. I dont need to argue with you, if you want take it or leave, but the truth will remain as such. Just to open your ulgly head, just a few months ago, PF had to steal money meant for a widow to pay for their bill. No activties have taken place in PF to fundraise for the party. Yet today we are being told of a convention to carter for over 6500 pipo. Katumbi is coming back to plunder again, this time Sata is married to Katumbi. Anyway, being a conman, this will not make sense to you. Continue burying your head in the sand.

  194. all of you who are condeming sata as a plunder you are plunders as well. did you ever see sata stealing.. if so H.H is a No. thief as he had participated in the sale of THE MINES SO ALL THE ASPIRING CANDIDATES HAVE A CHARATERISTIC THAT WILL DESCRIBE AND IDENTIFY THEM IN THE FACE OF THE ZAMBIANS.

GO GO SATA WE HAVE SEEN YOU WORK UNLIKE THESE OTHER THAGS FROM WHICH EVER DIRECTION THEY CAME FROM

  195. PF MP’s stormed out of Parliament yesterday in protest against the pending ‘15%’ Salary increment. PF are holding a protest rally tomorrow in Lusaka. To those who still doubt PF check out the number of people that will show up in solidarity with Sata. Which other political party has done even half of what PF has done as mentioned above? Deeds, not words!!

  196. insubordination takes a centre stage as Patriotic Front (PF) officials and cadres in Kasama, paddles a different thread.
