  1. Zesco United FC. is the best sponsored team in Zed at the moment. Now Zesco please dont just think of BP top 8. Think of the CAF champions league. You can do better than Dynamo of Zimbabwe.

  2. Wow! Didnt notice that. They are advertising Carlsberg for free when they should be advertising Zenon. Reminds me of Rumlex FC in1994. They were promoted to the premiership and they chose to don the Bafana Bafana jersey.

  3. Oopss! Should have been Scoucers not Scourcers in my earlier post #9.

This is funny and ludicrous to be honest. Those of you who know law, wouldn`t this land Lusaka Dynamos into trouble? If not then the Scoucers are happy because like someone has said above, they are advertising Scoucers and Carlsberg for free.

    lol!

  4. 11. Logic, even before the Credit Crunch, Zambian football had a money crunch. It is cheaper to buy replica jerseys and use them in teams.I do not support the practice though. I have seen Lusaka Dynamoes wearing an old Manchester United replica jersey complete with logo in a league game before. This was against Power Dynamoes at Queensmead Stadium in Lusaka last year and the game ended 0-0.

  5. He was injured at some point so Renard conviniently left him out. HH was left out too until the defence was leaking buckets. It has to do with

  6. # 14. Anonymous, Any player from Hanif Adam’s team is unlikely to feature prominently seeing that Renard is in the Kalu. That is why HH used to be left behind until we were leaking buckets at the back and he could not be ignored after his performances in AFCON ’08 and CHAN.

  7. eish. why do men like football. Lusaka times can we have fashion and food for ladies.
Perhaps we can have tips on the blog. Plus issues of dieting. Football………………..boring for ladies. No female participation.

  8. The boy with captains arm band is not your perfect epitomy of Zambian footballers’ physiognomy because he is actually a ‘big boy’. Zambians are naturally smaller in build.

Stadia in Zambia is in bad shape especially Shinde, Chilata and others.

  9. Zed Chick – is your point to have less space for football or just to have fashion. I am made to believe there is no such thing as Zambian fashion but that fashion in Zambia is influenced by America mostly. If that is the case then visit American sites. Besides there is more on this site than just football.

  10. Zed Chick. Ever tried going to a church and asking why they dont have moslems as well? This is a football story.

  11. You are right, i have just confirmed that the jersey is a liverpool replica. With Liverpool label and name on it. Apparently, the LD label wore out

  12. Iwe ka Zed Chick #22.

Abasungu are naturally fat and hypocrites. Not long ago, they used to laugh at our women for having bokosi. Jlo springs up and they suddenly start paying to have their bums done.

It really piss*s me off to find a black girl on the beach in her bikini lying in temperatures of 28 degrees! Honestly someone tell me why! Other than getting even darker and getting sun burns why would one do such a thing?
Ho Ho Ho! My sister stop reading magazines.

    Ho Ho Ho!

  13. I TOLD U GUYZ LUSAKA D IZ THE BEST TEAM IN LSK AT THE MOMENT.ZESCO U ARE NEXT WAPYA NA MALAITI YOBE!O THA WAY GUYZ M BEHIND U.ELITE MWELA ONSE

  14. If only zambian companies would be sharp enough to realise the benefits of branding local teams. Here we are with people from all over the world noticing the foreign stuff written on our so-called jerseys. But yaba! Akaso kalipaya!

  15. African seeds established(FIFA.com) Monday 13 October 2008

The five seeded teams for the final round of African qualifying for the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africaâ„¢ have been established. Regional powers Cameroon, Egypt, Ghana, Nigeria and Côte d’Ivoire will sit out front as the continent’s vanguard.

The seeds were established according to the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking. In addition to the four seeds, 15 other African nations have reached the final round of qualifying – 12 group winners from the first group stage which concluded at the weekend and the eight best runners up.

The remaining 15 teams were grouped into pots based on their global raning

  16. Pot 1 (Seeds)
    Cameroon
    Egypt
    Ghana
    Nigeria
    Côte d’Ivoire

    Pot 2
    Guinea
    Morocco
    Tunisia
    Mali
    Algeria

    Pot 3
    Burkina Faso
    Gabon
    Zambia
    Kenya
    Benin

    Pot 4
    Rwanda
    Togo
    Mozambique
    Sudan
    Malawi

  17. Using the above pots you can predict how the groups will be arranged. Pot1 is the main seeds. One team from each pot will be given a group. Good Luck Zambia.

  18. It is a great pity for FAZ to sink so low and allow teams in the Premier League to wear EPL replica shirts. This really shows you how low standards in football have fallen pa ZED. No wonder stadia are nearly empty when the games are on

  19. As for the Chipolopolo the hard work begins now. No matter what pool we shall be in, preparations must begin in earnest. The draws will be on on 22 October 2008 in Zurich
