This is excellent towards uplifting Zambians’ lives and congratulations on your award too. President HH is working nicely with the Sun Intern.. People will soon understand HH great contributions soon.
I was given a holiday voucher by a company called SA Getaway. The voucher says you get 2-10days complimentary holiday at a resort in South Africa or Mauritius. It sounded good to me so I pursued it.Two sales representatives for Sa Getawat Faika Burton and Pearl Gertze cleverly coerced me to become a member of Sa Getaway. They said I could get a 5year membership for about R2700.I paid this and after that these women avoided my calls like anything.I tried talking to the owner of SA Getaway Mr Lyles Smith but he proved to be just as elusive.People this company is a fraud. You try calling 021 552 7052 and you will see what I mean.
#2. keith, sorry but hang in there. When are you going back to Zambia?
i see the have invested in women too,
i’m number one to put number 1
ba keith if an offer seems too good to be true, it is too good to be true.
# 4, # 5, # 6, i all agree with you guys especially # 4.
#1 You see when we support HH our freinds think we are just die hards. Now i see that those guys of yours can not comment on this goods news. They are bringing a diferrent topic which has nothing with this subject matter. Ba utwa muna nji?
HH, not Rejected Ballot !
9# O.P Now you are talking. We are recruiting members on the CB join the winning team in 2011.
# 1 & 8 – Its difficult to convince people who know nothing or little about business strategy. For example did you know that part of the agreement HH negotiated between Sun and ZNFU was that all vergies, eggs, milk etc will have to come from Southern Province, if Southern P can’t manage then other provinces will be considered? That is why people like Guy Robinson (ZNFU President) are able to own such huge sums of shares in Zambeef and now Zanaco!. Opportunities exist but we fail to take advantages of them. On the other hand we spend time asking why, how, when, where etc HH got his wealthy when the man has provided opportunities for all hard working Zambians to succeed.
11# You are talking boss we need such strategist who can empower others. Zambians we always miss opportunties to choose people who can change the way business is done. We should blame ourselves for voting tribal.
#8. VILLAGE CONCEPT, niutwile ndaate. Whatever the case, the anti-HH for Zambian President will have to say YES in the middle of cry out NO someday.
#11. Joy Rider…, do not worry about the illiterate on president HH and the deliberately-myopic cadres of the Undereducate for now. They will join us into the winning bandwagon very soon I am positive for reality will soon set in their thick heads to real change.
I recommend all who will read this data to endorse president HH as soon as possible for Zambian President in 2011.
As #12. VILLAGE CONCEPT, has pointed out, we seriuosly need Zambians who will take pride in EMPOWERING their fellow Zambians. Look at how the Indians in Zambia help one another to make it in Business.
This is the way to go and Zambia shall only move if jealous (Kalijo by MC Wabwino) is put aside and we pool all our resources to built our things the way UNZA was built with focus under former President KK’s leadership.
One has to be mad to vote for HH. To be honest it is good that PF and UPND are not looking to merge. Tribal politics belong somewhere in Rwanda people.
MMD is the modern UNIP. One Zambia One Nation, One nation One Leader and that leader RB.
15# RB you worn by ” so please enjoy your retirement in State house.
The Sun Hotel management are working hard with the people of L/stone. I love the way the worked on Zambezi Basic School as they have made the school look good. Keep it up guys.
#16 Aha that from a person whose party finished what? Number 3? And yeah the total votes? I feel sorry for you guys.
You have scared people away by being so tribal. We do not want another Rwanda.
One Zambia One Nation.
Go and cry it will get better for you son.
#18 RB check the results carefully, are you saying those who voted in North Western, Western, Lusaka, Central are tongas. I doubt it. Because for example in Western and North Western our party was following RB behind. Remember in Minilunga West & Zambezi west RB was beaten so where is the tribal. I think tribal is in your back of your mind beacuse no party worn in Eastern where tribal was real. Shame on you bwana RB.
Ask yourself why you will always do badly in Lusaka and the Copperbelt? Wake up son!
#20. RB, mulekwatako umuchinshi. The 2008 Bye-election was to uphold the Zambian Constitution and allow the MMD to complete late former President Mwanawasa’s term.
Real elections elections will be held in 2011. Wait and see to borrow Dennis Liwewe’s usual soccer commentaries what will happen in 2011. Then and only then shall you have enough muscle to exclaim luje you have done now. Remember that the Undereducate’s support in Lusaka just happened because former UPND members joined him after they became bitter on losing the UPND presidency when UPND Superdelegates from across the 9 Provinces of Zambia intelligently endorsed HH as president upon deep reflections on the party’s future.
The wounds have healed. Nice!
20# DAD RB We did not do well on CB for simple reason, you can not reap where you have not sow. And as result we are on serious business of recruiting new members who will deliver results. I’am based in Kitwe and I know what I’m talking about right now adverts are running in Times for recruitment of fresh new members with new ideas. We want to take politics are a serious business not as dirty game, we mean business which will benifit our members who will be party of the winning team. We know how to motivate people wait and see come and join us you will never regret forget about your victory.
Thanks guys who are abroad its 01:00AM i need a rest for now, continue with your good works debate issues which will help mother Zambia. May the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the Love of GOd our Father and the comforting Holy Spirit be with you all AMEN.
#24, Akubeboobo (Amen).
US $ 200,000 is peanuts. Me Jamaican tycoon gyalfrien Sania spent $ 420,000 for a party on de river last summer. Check out de pics at reggaeontheriver.com.
Maestro hohohoho
you are a child and st**id probably in Russia. Grow up and contribute positively.
Opportunities lay abound even in a country of few resources. Its just the lazy, jealous, selfish and negative people who dont seem to find it in Zambia (a country of plenty)
I have to agree with number 14……. some of these Indians come in Illegally with very very little. Before you kw it they are building mansions and driving posh cars. As much as we would like to resent the Indians in Zambia, credit should go where its due. How???
The Answer is simple they work very hard and look out for each others interest somthing we Zambians have failed to do. We are always looking at each other to see whos got the most and yet nobody has anything.
This is attitude and work ethic problem.
#28. XXXXXXXXXXX, thanks.
#28.You know what instead of Zambians seeking audience with president HH to find out how he is making money in Zambia, some of us are busy i n s u l t i n g him and accusing him of having s t o l e n so-called money from the mines. What a shame! Others have gone to an extent of being tribal and saying that may be president HH will be a president of Southern Province or Tongaland just because of jealous. I n s u l t s will not take us a people called Zambians. Maturity in approaching issues of this life is what will bring development. Look at the Indians and Chinese, they work together to achieve success in business and other sectors. I have also seen that whites do the same thing.
#30 continued.
So what is bringing us down is dividing ourselves. The case you find at home is that each one wants to be #one, even od LT nowadays without making a comment, and forgets about his neighbour. Someone said “united we stand and divided we fall” – unknown. What are correct statement that needs careful reflection upon. Zambia needs every Zambian in unison aboard if we have to become developed. Let us encourage the Undereducates to go to school since we have free education to Grade 12. Let us empower our neighbours so that all of us will move together. Issues of zimya neighbour are of the past. This is time to implement proven working strategies that have helped to put MAN Moon.
# 2 Banakugonga !!!! nimulusaka !!!!!!!
You lumbar jacks stop campaining and get down to work. Whether tribal or not is irrelevant here. RB is in the saddle and we are enjoying our new positions. So deal with it
Mwauka bwanji monse. wow, i had a great night despite the terrorists attacks in my country yesterday and your unwarranted attacks on me for saying the truth about Zambians.Everyone for himself and GOD for us all.
Thats too little money to give back to the community.
Sun hotels pays the workers peanuts and they bank their money in South Africa. What is $200 000? what a joke.Get real Zambians and don’t be cheated by this capitalists.
THIS IS WHAT PRESIDENT RB SHOULD BE PROUD OF,NOT NIGERIAN INVESTORS.
HH, has brought us alot of assistance to L/stone, imagine the lowest paid employee geting NOT less than, K1.925,000, WHRE IN ZAMBIA? All this will be appreciated by all those who hated this man.A Fairmount hotel the lowest employee gets BOUT k3,95000, can a sane person campare this to wha t we get from sun? even if you are griped with the satamania, u cant compare this. How employees has sata got, what contribution has he done to a poor zambian?HH ,viva for 2011. we love you and yo initiatives. You have empowered us as zambians.
#38 Its is good to apreciate people were it due bro….keep up atlist he is empowring Zambians, while ba sata is still fighting with BR and ECZ.
with the millions of dollars they make, just 200 000 thousand dollars,it doesn’t make any sense…
200000 is nothing compared to the milions they have made. Its just like our forefathers who were being given salt and mirrors by the europeans in exchange for minerals.I see no point in praising HH .He is no Warren Buffet-men who have made millions becoz of their business brain.HH just happened to be at the rite place at the rite time when the govt was liqiudating zimco co.The liqiudation law at the time favored the liqiudator and not the workers of the companies. So HH and his elk got their golden parachutes while the workers at ubz, zcbc etc were left holding the bag.If anything what is needed is an enqiury of how he ended up on the board of a co.he was entrusted to sell i.e fairmount hotel
Good news! But racism muleke
#28 I was once let down by a fellow Zambia. A man that my family knew very well wanted to start a Timber business. The business plan looked very good. So I learnt him a lot of ZMK millions for capital on favourable terms. What did the man do? He disappeared and started living in hotels. I have never got back my money. The police caught up with him but we withdrew the case on humanitarian ground. If jailed, his wife and children were going to have it rough. His family used to come to pleade for mercy. If he was a stranger, it was going to be easier for me to let the law take its course. Next time, I will not support a fellow Zambian. This man used to be so innocent!
Some of the differences between Zambians and Indians is that Indians work harder, are willing to spend hours in a shop just to make a K1, and are patient with their business. They don’t spend more than they make or else the business would go bankrupt. Trust is also cardinal.
On the contrary, Zambian family businesses fail due to untrustworthiness of members. Children squander the takings, relatives are suckers and generally, people spend more than the profit from the business. In the end the family business fails. Very few Zambian businesses pass on from generation to generation.
Indians, Senegalese and other foreigners have come to Zambia and have prospered from our own local resources.
If we also want to have this prosperity, cant we learn from them. What is it that they do that we do not do. If we did what they do, can we prosper just as well. Do we really want to have the prosperity they enjoy? Is it possible to learn from them, so that our children can enjoy the prosperity of Zambia. Our schools are full of education on Western ways to prosper. We might as well learn from Indians and other nationalities.
#1 Ulichisushi, why talk about your HH,Everything should now be connected to politics hell no.Kaalale ch***la chobe.
Abena Zambia tatutasha. We should learn to say thank you and work hard for our own business instead of waiting for other people to employee us and in the we start accusing them of paying peanuts. if they get peanuts at sun hotel why not stop working and look for a well paid job, ala. Work hard and establish your own business. I have never head of anyone working Sun hotel employee complaining of wages, its the people who don’t even work for sun complain of conditions of services. shame!!!!!!
Umunigerian can’t just come ninshi there is a loop hole somewhere.Be careful ka here these pipo even withdraw cash pama ATM using a new sim card believe me.
WE CAN NEVER BE RULED BY A TONGA BULL NEVER
#38. Mr B L/STONE. “HH, has brought us alot of assistance to L/stone, imagine the lowest paid employee geting NOT less than, K1.925,000, WHRE IN ZAMBIA? reat tstimony and please continue feeding us such data.
#43. UK-Zed Observer “#28 I was once let down by a fellow Zambia. A man that my family knew very well wanted to start a Timber business. The business plan looked very good. So I learnt him a lot of ZMK millions for capital on favourable terms. What did the man do? He disappeared and started living in hotels.”
Sad result though at least you tried to help. What I am happy about is that your forgive him on humanitarian grounds. I know what it is to entrust in family members but they misperform for I have my own experience too> However, let us continue believing that one day we will all move together with good mindsets.
Number 43 am sorry to hear that. to be honest with you, thats so common in our zambian society. its often the most trusted relatives that swindle you when you least expect it.
You are right in that wealth is passed on from generation to generation. the old cliche ‘like father like son’seems to hold true for all but Zambians.
The likes of Trade Kings, Malcome, Nyiombo, Crescent Holdings, Lamise and the rest are all big businesses in Lusaka which stem from humble beginings in Shops around Kamwala. With in 15 yrs these firms have expanded massively. The problem is non of these are Zambian
Maestro how does HH come in
STOP MOURNING ABOUT PEOPLE WHO HAVE MADE THE MONEY IN ZAMBIA.WHILE ABROAD, SAVE AND PLAN FOR YOUR INVESTMENT BACK HOME.NOT ONLY DRINKING EXPENSIVE BEERS AND WHISKYS, DRIVING CHEVS, ETC. START PLANNING TO TEAM UP AS ZAMBIANS AND INVEST IN OUR OWN COUNTRY.A SOCIETY LIKE ZAMBIA THAT WANTS TO LOOK GOOD ALWAYS BY BUYING FOREIGN HOW DO YOU EXPECT OUR FACTORIES TO THRIVE? THEY CANNOT COZ WE WANT SUGAR FROM ZIM, MATCHES FROM BOTS, BLANKET FROM NAMIBIA, HAIR FROM CONGO, ETC. WE NEED TO RE-THINK OTHEROWSE EVEN CONGOLESE WILL COME AND BUY OUR MINES AFTER THE CHINESE HAVE LEFT.LETS WORK HARD FOR TOMORROW.
Miyoba u got a bright future ahead of you ;-0

53. your flag KOPALA , president HH comes in in the sense that some characters where accusing him of not helping the Zambian workers at Sun Internaational while he HH sits on the board for that business venture. Now, these projects and the improved salaries for the Sun International employees prove those characters who were accusing HH of failing Zambians wrong in this case/ news above.
#
54. your flag Miyoba thnaks for producing convincing data to #
41. your flag seeker of the truth and justice who is deeply in denial of truth by accusing president HH.
Anyway, let us all Zambians who mean well for our country do the needful. People of #41’s calibre in thinking will join us later on when reality will set in on them that it does not help to have colossal jealous on president HH.
Time has come when well meaning Zambians must rise about tribalism and selfishness. We surely will do it together. We are not a poor Nation, but one that is making progress as we learn from others.
No 57 Its not jealousy.Questions need to be asked.HH was a liqiudator and there is everything wrong when he gets his golden parachute and the poor workers in these companies are left holding the bag and he ends up sitting on a board of a co. we had entrusted him to sell on our behalf.Whose interests was he serving.Parastatals belonged to all of us zambians. How could he have become a billionaire at such a young age.The same thing happened in Russia with the sale of their parastatals and guys like abramovich, rose from rags to riches at the age of 30 until Putin said No More. HH needs to tell us how he made his money before he starts telling us that he will fund youth projects from his pocket
#58. your flag seeker of the truth and justice, instead of portraying yourself as a shallow thinker on the net, why dont you open a court case against president Hakainde Hichilema and prove whether HH is what you claim? This will save you from being a loser and hater over pettiness. This is simply free advice to you and you have every right to it seriuosly or throw it away.
Remember, that instead trying so hard to throw mad at HH which is clearly not sticking on him since HH is clean in all his dealings, you can advance your problem with his liquidation to the GRZ which was headed by the Chiluba Administration of which the Undereducate and the current MMD Government were running us.
#59 continued. Otherwise, president HH is making money while you are held back in your wed of self-deception and denial of truth presented in your face. While most of the character like you are complaining and trying hard to bring HH down, the man Hakainde Hichilema has increased his money by ~ 57% in exactly 2 years (26 Billion Kwacha in November 2006 – 38.8 Billion Kwacha in October 2008).
What an investor president HH is! What a clever Zambian HH is! What a man HH is in his commitment to defend the Zambian Constitution by participating in the just ended 2008 elections which was a necessity to set a precedency in Zambia’s history. Try him HH, and you will find out for yourself.
No 59 and 60 I cant believe the nurses have let you play on the computer.Go and take your medication.Unlike you l have not drank the HH kool aid
#
61. your flag seeker of the truth and justice, continue insulting and being in denial of truth at your own peril. It is not me who is likely to suffer from depression and possibly a HEARTATTACK for harbouring JEALOUS out of nothing and aimless exposing ignorance on the Internet.
I will now let the onlookers decide who needs medical attention between me and you as you have written in your posting.
I am now over and out for a Sabbath recess. Take care and greet your family on my behalf.
Nos. 59, 60 and 62; None of you have ever explained whether you consider it ethical for HH to have negotiated the sale of Mosi o Tunya Hotel and then immeadiately become the buyers (Sun Hotel) Chairman. If this is how he made his money he is a crook and should be prosecuted. Only fellow crooks can say what he did is alright.
No. 59; Do you know that HH has eveded tax and not paid for the so called billions he made in the last two years. Or was the Post editorial right that he has exagerated his wealth to impress simple minds?
atleast bweshako shimo
We need an enqiury into the privitasation of the parastatals and the role HH played in all of this
Here we go again. Guys lets put petty politics on the side. Elections have just ended.
What i notice here is people write catalogue after catalogue only if its politics.
Lets stick to the issue of economics and social responsibility as is the story header.
I just have to mention this, these upnd guys I do not support them but on the areas they control atleast they have shown leadership. Yes we know hh revampt sun hotel. I like also the way they handle the albidon mine issue. Displaced villagers in Mazabuka Nikel mine were the most compansated in zambia and the guys managed to put up a good fight. Those villagers were built 2bedroomed houses, given cows and were given new land with title deeds and were built a school and a clinic in theeir new place. If they can do that just as a political party, how about when they are given power. From that I understand why people of the south are so confortable in the opposition.
cont. At first some of us we even thought they do not want investors but now we understand the logic. I also like the way they settle things, the do not fight they just negotiate and they do not blow trumpets. To move things you just need to address what you want and you negotiate to get there. upnd please continue with your good works fighting for people’s right the way you have demonstrated thats the whole purpose why you are in the opposition, your actions speak louder that words.
Sun hotel thanks for your works, you have been removing prostitutes from the streets and vulnerable girls and employed them in your hotel as part of your social responsibility, atleast my friend has a job now.
We do not need to view people on what other people tell us we should demand for real information. I know we like hear say which may not have facts in zambia thats why we make wrong choices. Instead of asking hh to show us how he made his money we are busy accusing him of theft.
#69.Chisenga Chimwemwe and #71, you have made my for I know that there are objective Zambians who may not agree with the UPND, but appreciate the work that president HH and the UPND TEAM including the National Management Committee have done to the Zambian people in Southern Province and the whole Nation.I like your suggestion on “I know we like hear say which may not have facts in zambia thats why we make wrong choices. Instead of asking hh to show us how he made his money we are busy accusing him of theft” and this is good for #66.seeker of the truth and justice who wrote “We need an enqiury into the privitasation of the parastatals and the role HH played in all of this”.
One Indian will look at another more successful Indian and try to emulate him. Whereas us Zambians just try and pull the more sucessful Zambians back down to our own level.
Some guys are just too jealous they will never apprciate.
