  1. Nice Pictures. Illegal miners are trying to make ends meet but what they don’t realise is that those Menerals contain chemicals which are hazardous to their healthy.
I wish Govt can do something about unemployment levels in the country

  2. Nice pic’s Lt i hear in Ndola again Police beat a cad driver to death and want to accuse inmates and ndola central police. Confirm LT

  3. The picture of the Boz accountant makes sad reading indeed! but why? Iwe LT, can you give us details please. Nkhani yama ox cart nayo! And you want to give money to Zimbabwe? Mulampapisha abena ZED.

  4. This is the good and the bad, the good is small scale farming and the bad is Ilegal miners’
This sums up the life in zambia.

  5. Pic #6, Awe kwena, the Veep looks extremely dishonest. He seems to be whispering to RB ati, “Your Excellency, i have good news on how we can get around this tribunal issue. Panono sana”.

  6. Pic #3, the cows towing the cart are looking malnourished! The villagers will certainely need two bigger and stronger cows to pull that cart once those two weak ones are being taken to the vet on that very cart. Twachula sana mwe!

  7. Picture 3 gives me hope, no 4 takes it away but 5 gives it back to me but then 7 and 8 leave me without any hope.

  8. THE SAINT 7 and 8 should give you confidence that there can be commercial activities from mine dumps. Just legalise them

  9. The ends justify the means: There is nothing wrong with using oxcarts to take people to hosiptals. When you really think about it, it is a very cheap mode of transportation and is likely the most accessible means of getting to some of these places that have probably never seen the tracks of a vehicle in their area. Some of you call it being backward but I think that it is ingenious, if one is able to save a life with so little resources.

  10. #17. Unfortunately, its that kind of attitude that makes us not develope as a country. you are still supporting the idea of a pit latrine because you save on water!!! Be serious. Am so dissapointed. I expected better from you.

  11. At least down to earth pics ba L.T. Thanks. Now, is that Mrs Sata next to him in pic 1, pantu shabeshiba. Pic 2. Uyu namayo Regina fimo fimo, husband snatcher/grabber takaleke imisango ya kulimonesha ku chililo?? ubufontini… Muli shani Ba Moze na Ba Honey bakulu banandi?

  12. #20 Mrs Steven i think thats Angela Chifire mwee.Regina mupuba alipama umwanakashi uyu, useless woman katwishi abbana

  13. Yes bloggers, mwe bantu every time I see these pictures, tears come to my eyes. My heart cries and bleeds for my land of birth.
    Where’s Abigail? I need a poem pleeeeease!!!

  14. #20,i think next to ba sata kwati niba mrs sata called kaseba, but kale kuti walufyanya, equally call fo help.as fo ba kunda, really ka expression kaliko bad esp when yu combine naka 3piece suit without ka tie,oh! ni zimya neighbour.
ba kabichi, baoneka bwino manje kuoneka bafunika manzi, muli dry mu garden.
Generally pics are great, thanx LT,keep us posted on this front.

  15. interesting pictures as usual..shame shame on the people that have to get on cart…..!…once more..we are giving money to Zimbabwe with a status like this in our own country…Eish!!

  16. What an untimely loss of Mr Chitalu Sampa, 77 years, a former PF political party chairman. I just hope Mr Sata will consider standing for PF Chairman in any would-be PF convention to elect leaders as it is a better position than president of the party when someone is above 70 years old.

As for other pictures, they look decent, compared to what we have been seeing on LT.

  17. Abigelo come and sing for Zambia please. Make Nine Chale happy.

LT I just changed offices and have not moved to another country. The Flag I have now awe …

  18. Self proclaimed political engineer and dribbler at it ,as a chief mourner with the saddest face ….drama at its best….go well bro sampa.

  19. # 19. Ba Moze, my attitude is to identify the most viable means of getting work done. What is the point of having an ambulance on wheels in an area that has no roads???? Let’s not get disillusioned by the meaning of the term development because it means different things in different contexts. A hypothetical example for you: If one of the development indicators is determined by the # of people with access to medical facilities, what would be the difference between 10 people who access such facilities using an ox-cart and 10 people who access the same facilities using an ambulance. If all of them get the same treatment, would you say that the ones using the ambulance are more developed than the others? I think not.

  20. The Farmer and the wife/woman MMD supporters in MMD chitenge ………This could explain why RB visited…….PF or UPND chitenge could have given RB the impression of neutrality and credibility….

  21. #22, Gday to you Zoe, wantekunya sana, nindepuka munseko, … Yes, that lady near Sata looks like Angela Chifire.. thanks for reminding me.. Yabaaaa! Regina fimofimo yena chiwelewele sana. Imisango ububi..

  22. Good afternoon LT Bloggers. Nice pics LT. Ba Sampa’s pictures, RIP old man. “Nomba icho chi Regina. Chanshi basenda ukulikonse chi convict icho”. Pic # 4 – LT what was that man doing at a police post when he was beaten by inmates? Pic # 6 – That man in glasses should step down or should be fired for publicly supporting wrong things. In the same vain Ba Moze @ # 11 – “wantekunya!!”

  23. Zambia may be a poor country with all these sad pictures, but we are a well adjusted innovative people who survive and still laugh and take care of family in extremely tough conditions. The good thing about life is that you cant miss what you never had. I commend the rural people for uing oxen for transportation instead of sitting around waiting for ‘real’ vehicles. Just because some of us got a chance to live in the Western world doesnt make us better people than everyone else at home. So stop with all these pathetic comments about Zambia.

  24. Goodmorning, afternoon or evening depending on your position from the GMT. Hello Ba Moze; do not take this wrong but Olympia extension chick is correct that is inovation at its best ox carts traverse places that ambulances cannot reach. I can see chick you have acquired the knowledge one needs from the US. Most forget that people can learn alot here if you travel past the luxuries. Wonderful that you are all blogging with home at heart. Great photos, may God grant comfort to the Sampa family. We are the new freedom fighters, may God bless you all.

  25. # 37, Mwana Wakwitu, Thanks for your comments, I am glad to see that there is someone on this site who is able to look at the bigger picture of issues when it comes to our perception of development in Zambia.

  26. Great kalu certainly looks on inspection to be in good health any subtraction and additions , thanks to good morals and exercise…..

  27. Moneni limbi the Boz Acct was rude to the nuts he found there. The problem is that you want to take bu exe na mu cell. Teti ibombe. Ba guy balifulwa watch out.

  28. Olympia Extension Chick! Yes my dear lady I recognise what at times I vaguely saw while in Zambia. Do not get me wrong I respect Ba moze’s inputs on this blog. Him and a few others here do share inspirationally; even the odd commenting 1984 when called upon will surprise you with his intelligence. But you and I have seen why Amstica is developed. I was vindicated to know people here repect your if you radiate your true culture, not the fake “we are like westerners thus we do not speak venacular.”
Remember those people? America has taught me to appreciate my country, my God Jesus. My family and education with works. Remember you can be both wise and learned. That is true education. More later. Thanks Chick! Stay true to Ladyship for women hold morals of a nation.

  29. #44 Sad information yah .Never the less, he looks to be in good hearth ……agree or disagree ….. look at sata and chiluba, so is KK who is conspicuously missing …

  30. Pic#10. Its great to see two former mighty mufulira wanderers players seated next to each other and playing a huge role in FAZ. Who knew fate would bring them together again. Mighty iwina chingulo
