  1. I pity the orphans in pic 1! huh! Bloggers lets do something! These kind of pictures are brought to our attention so that we help if we can….overall nice shots!!

  2. Pic #1 is indeed saddenning, may God help them. Am embarrased to have RB as a President eponapela apapene, lelo ni friday kalalepuka……..

  3. I agree with you Baby C. Its not a pretty sight. I cant imagine my baby girl like that or worse (because I know these worse than this)

  4. I don’t know how a president can manage to carry on with life and smile while kids are hungry and in poverty. It’s saddening.

  5. babeC I would say Chiluba shades it, I mean ka mudala (excuse my language) was handling ba Vera who is like 20 stone (130kg). Then his height was deceiving.
He has 13 Children and i dont know how many kids

This man here looks like umu kaonde mwe.

Naumona mu pikcha namba 10 itoloshi lyaba president lilesensela.

  6. Looks like RB is always happy. Good for him, and the nation I suppose, in these hard times.

The orphans look healthy and well dressed. Looks like they are being taken care of very well. Cudos. I bet there are normal families out there where children look worse.

A policeman’s live must be hard, what with so many other people driving in better cars, like the 4×4 just behind.

For me the BEST picture is that of the orphans. For a person who has no parents to look so healthy & well dressed is just so comforting. There’s nothing worse than hunger and nakedness. God bless the orphanage.

  7. To me the children in the first picture look clean and well taken care of. Children are allowed naps in daycare, so what if they sleep on the floor. Its not uncommon in Zambia or anywhere else for that matter to sleep on the floor. Kudo to the people running the orphanage

  8. #13. ba president teku sagginga, his gut is too big. #1 is sad indeed. most of these kids are orphaned by HIV. Its true we need to do something for these kids but we should start with extensive HIV education.

  9. #18 Muzo… nimbona tata! yelefwaya ukutentemuka elo basachaya ka style pakuti likatilile!Just look at his legs…

  10. Pic # 10 is really sad….Ba president balemone like a young boy in sugging pants sure! Awe that is not a good image….whoever is making his pants can do a better job. Kuti basunshila, or maybe he needs ama straps such as Larry King’s.

  11. These are the kids T Banada must be looking after, after all she is a mother herself. How would she feel if it was her kids suffering like that, Give that a decent matress for them to sleep on. i am ashamed.

  12. Lupiya is a funny youngman. He was trying to ponda before the officers. In picture 13 he was saying, kuzwenga bebele, tiye gelo.

  13. I thought SOS is well funded. The situation is sad lets do something bloggers we have done it before and we can do it again. Thank you.

  14. Pic #1 is really sad. These kids do not only luck matresses, but their bedrooms are also infested with bed bugs. The lesions on the upper arm of the eldest girl are typical of bed bug bites(insanya). Most of these orphanages receive donor funding. Where does the money go? It is alleged that people who are running these orphanages have become beneficiary barons. Little wonder there is mushrooming of charitable organisations particularly in Lusaka.

  15. No comments from me,and its almost 17 so KALEPUKA friday kufuma bwangu……..Lelo nipa Masaka(LIVINGSTONE) See u on monday

  16. Pic #1 is sad imwe, kids having to sleep on the floor and mlnd u this is winter tym.but atleast they look healthy

  17. #Pic .1, how can kids sleep on the floor like that????? thats annoying..
#Pic .2 , Ni Matching yashani iyooo?? by force?

  18. #38 Monalisa You have misunderstood picture 1. The kids are at school and they were taking a nap there. Thats not where they sleep at night! Kids take a nap at nursery school, bane just in case you never went. The floor is clean, the kids are too. Whats the big deal? The orphanage is doing their best and purchasing cots for afternoon nap is an unecessary expense.

  19. # 45 atleast the orphanage can buy impasa for these kids to nap on. # 38. true am also tired of some zedians in the diaspora trying to make money out of these kids..

  20. #46 Dalitso you are a Zambian too. Orphans are there for everyone to take care of. Ask LT to give you the information of the school and you can send a little something for impasa for the children. Its easy to criticize when you have not lifted a finger for Charity.

  21. Okay LT! Pic # 1 cute angels napping. Thank you SOS Agape Kindergarten for looking after some of these orphans. Pic # 3: LT who told you those are employees from one of the parastatal companies?? Pic # 5 – Nice one. Pic # 6 – This DRC Ministry of Interior and Security Secretary General – Is he from Ituri Forest?? Pic # 10 – RB – “Tupeniko STANCE!!”.

  22. pic #5 guys,
it seems you pople in lusaka have got police that has patrol sa part of their job.
It very ispiring to me or us in CHINGOLA. I tell you guys in lusaka that you should be very grateful for that. In CHINGOLA 9particularly Nchanga North, for the past six months or so we have been having attacks in the streets at night starting from 21hours and the police have never bothered to patrol the streets. The situation gets worse each past day and night. For example, belows is the list of people close to me that have been attacked while knocking off from work:
my brother, my uncle, my middleman, my nieghbour, three work mates, 4 of my friends workmates to mention but a few. GOD HELP US.

  23. Greetings everyone, most of you have put forward what should be done about the young ones in photo1. Sell or those jet skiis and wares then buy mattresses, great educational material and soy products for our little queens and their future husbands. Baby C made a great point, we bloggers have LT so as we can help; those of us that can travel home should buy material in Zambia and donate it to those worthy causes in person, odapasa ba bulu or NGOs; do it in person. May God bless you all.

  24. LT Please check your spellings etc coz this site is viewed even by folks in Kandahar ! E.G #4 Which ‘brakes’ were slammed ?, #6 That dwarf’s appointment is a proper noun which should be capitulated #10 Spelling for Assistant, #11 Are you sure thats a Medal and not a Button? , #13 ..Appends a signature o..aoth ? , #13 Check spelling for ‘Clutches’. Pull up your socks LT coz you are the MOST viewed site in Zed ! # 6 Akamukonso ba PS , is Vaseline in short supply mwebantu?

  25. For the Orphams let us as LT bloggers (Including Maestro Hehehehhe) set up some small account to help such small issues. Here we just need to buy bunker beds or Matresses. Those bloggers that did the fund for that Cardson Kabwe (how is he anyway ?) should do like wise and we can help this orphanage

  26. #6 and 37, do not be mistaken, that is not SOS Children’s Village of Zambia Trust get your facts right, belengeni what is said below! Mwalasha icishinka mailo mukatwale n mulomo!
#53 kale since I heard the word akamukonso! wansekesha!

  27. Shani bonse. guys on a serious note let us help the angels in picture 1. We can thru lt open up an account buy material 4 them. Find volunteers who can travel and deliver the material. B4 we do it lt has to let us knw wether its a day n nite care centre. Kudos baby c 4 the idea. Ok caption ya pix 2 yanisekesa. Rb itoloshi is it by valentino, arman, dolce gabana, gucci or versace. Tell chiza 2 do something 4 u.

  28. #48. i have atleast 6 orphaned kids in my family and we do our best to take care of them so they don’t end up in an orphanage or/and place responsibility on the government. i think zambia should have control bodies to make sure these orphanages are legitimate because most of times these orphans are mistreated especially utu ma orphanages twakufaila.

  29. Its very easy to say that we will take care of orphans when their parents die but afterwards relatives start ill treating the orphans. This is not an easy matter, only pipo with a heart can take care of orphans coz what happens behind closed doors is a different story.

  30. Pic # 1 …Sad news indeed! Can,t just help it… Pic # 10… Yena yikali… Ati “Ready!!!!, Smile!!!! … Piaku!!!” … Elo zebige alemoneka kwati ali wa ma pic. in secondary school… Kalya ka pose nakawama… with the sagi style…
