medical student studying in Russia, who was in urgent need of a life saving heart operation was discharged from hospital on May 12th.A successful heart operation was done on the 22nd April.
Cardson Kabwe was denied assistance by the Zambian Embassy in Russia who advised Cardson to fly back to Zambia.An air ticket through Bursaries Committee was arranged for him to fly back to Zambia.
Cardson as well as other students knew this would be a death sentence on the young bright medical student.So an urgent appeal was sent to raise funds for the operation. Zambian students in Russia, Lusakatimes readers as well as other Zambians around the world contributed money to help save Cardson ‘s life.Indeed Cardson’s life has been saved and on behalf the 25 year old orphaned medical student we wish to thank you for your support.

shame on our gov which manage to sent people who have almost rechead their expirely date to good hospitals in SA and also managed buy an air ticket to send CK back home were there are no equipments in hospitals, but failed to contribute to his operation expenses, may the all mighty God bless those who extended their hand towards CK’s operation expenses including those who prayed for him.

What do you expect when the Ministry of health officials are busy amasing wealth like that with impunity and only end up in a transfer to another pot.
Thats great news. We can only wish him well and every success in his education, he may also save another life in future. To the Governmnet of Zambia, ‘ You are and will be on the wall of shame. Only a couple of dollars to save a life is a big deal when you entertain some government officials eriching themselves.’ Investing in future leaders means help them have a meaningful life. Do you think if this guy found an opportunity somewhere else he would consider going back to serve his country? I don’y think so because you clearly show how you don’t value common lives but are willing to save yourselves by sending each other to South Africa even when some of you got sick out of promiscuity. My I begin by saying how touched I am by the compassion extended to Cardson Kabwe, The compassion and support the has saved his live, I wish to pay tribute to all you extended a hand and also to the the lusaka times for offering a platform withouth with this story may never have come to light. And too you Cardson always remember that hope is a good thing and no good thing ever dies.

LT please help us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Zambian embassy in moscow is tryin to make some maneuvres to see cardson’s doctors without telling us what really is going on. We suspect something fishy. There is rumour that the Govt released money for cardson’s treatment but upto now we don’t know how far this has gone. The embassy officials are claiming that they want to help and we are not sure how. We want a transparent process as Cardson’s case is now a public affair. Please sniff it and update us!!
