  1. Ok but Ba Mumbi looks like he can do anything for a bit of money otherwise the pics are great The first lady looks humble which is a good thing the chitenge still looks very much like a local woman hopefully state house wont change her and turn into a vera.

  2. Those lodges look very nice and clean. Despite corruption being used, the lodges are an example of the type of development we need in the country. Modern, clean, neat, tidy, beautiful structures. When is the auction??

  3. Wonderful pictures LT.

Our First Lady looks great, what do you say ladies?
That lodge is a beautiful, cosy setting, almost like Holiday Inn. Quite affordable too.

  4. Uyu munyamata wama Hammer is bringing problems ma lodge, ma nyumba, ma motoka and to finnish it off 7 girlfriends LOL

  5. Pic# 14. Money has not yet been handed over and Veep is streching his hand? Will that cash get to the intended fimo fimo?

  6. Why is the fact that Thandiwe wears vitenge and has her hair plaited such an issue for some? She is after all an African woman. To me she looks good and rather mukule than those horrible looking weaves that black women wear in order to try and look ngati muzungu but failing miserably because they always look cheap and untidy.

  7. This Kapoko man, awe mwe. Whiist the seizures were taking place, people were working! Thats the culture we need in Zambia. Ala ma men.

  8. #13 Mwana wa pa ngoma
I dont think anyone above you has said anything bad about the first lady… well apart from you coz everyone is appriciating that she is still represeting an African woman , i speak for myself there, hence i say hope she doent turn into a vera.

  9. What happens to the property, does it get sold off to realise the money? Some people in the Diaspora could surely afford that, seeing how they work their backs off. Who is the guy with 7 girlfriends?, People at base give names please. Whats with former PF somebody?

  10. Thandiwe looks good well done ladies, Sata looks old now can we vote for him, i dont know, who will be the next rebulican president?

  11. #19 if he is charged or fail to claim the property it will be sold etc there is a car or some cars of his which where taken because they did not have proper paper work. If he fils to show this they gazzet and sell

  12. >Pic #1. First lady Thandie looking good and gaining weight too. Her lips always in dire need of lipstick/lipbalm.

    > No comment on plunder.

    >Pic 14. I am touched by the humanitarian gesture expressed by Zambians in Namibia.

  13. C.I.A was not refering to you but to number 7regarding the mukule. Apologies if i gave wrong impression. I personaly like Thandi’s style – simple and dignified. Sata does not look like presidential material not that he ever did. Regarding the guy who stole money – what system of checks and balances was in place that allowed him to steal that MUCH money which allowed him to build so many structures and drive so many expensive cars?

  14. Zambia sweet mother Zambia
    nice pics LT
how much is 10 000 Rands in zed kwacha for the all lot of VP to host function
how much was used to receive the money???????????
    Zambia sweet mother Zambia
    love you en Miss you

  15. Chaps working on the roads (pic 13); are they engineers or labourers? I thought an engineer would be more like a “foreman” in this scenario. As for the plunderer, I hope his days are numbered; 10 billion kwacha is equivalent to what?…over a million Pounds I guess! Yaba, all that dosh and 7 (seven) galufriends ka, eeh! How many lives would have been saved had this money gone to the intended cause/investment? He is a “murderer” in one respect, this guy! Let the law take its course.

  16. #24
Its some Henry Kapoko guy who was human resources manager in the health department.
I get the feeling more senior officials from the ministry of health where involved considering the fact that they used to make used of the conference rooms. Quit easy to clear funds to yourself when you work there and they can or where getting a cut by inflating charges.

  17. Anya Banda mwaoneka mushe, indeed beautifully and wonderfully made in his own image. Keep it up mama first lady. Easy does it. Uyu Kapoko avutisa. Koma nikuiba uku amano kwati ni FTJ. God help us.

  18. Rocket Scientist Maestro Hhehhehhehhe - ndeezwa ku-musanza for Zambians in the 2011 tripartite National elections Rocket Scientist Maestro Hhehhehhehhe - ndeezwa ku-musanza for Zambians in the 2011 tripartite National elections

Great stuff. Indeed Zambia is a rich country only that it has been mismanaged over time – just seeing the Hammer, lodges and all.

  19. 1.Picture 7,United Party for National Development vice “preswident” Richard Kapita was among the audience during former PF secretary general Edward Mumbi’s press conference in Lusaka.Iye maya ba LT Ichisungu ni PRESIDENT

  20. #29 C.I.A, quite true that some senior chaps may be involved; I hear one senior chap who was moved from the Health Ministry to another Ministry has gone on some form of leave. It is getting hot in the kitchen and it seems now the heat is getting at them slowly but surely. Yalula nkani manje! Maybe he will try some tradition magic to become invisible, like the one and only………!

  21. Guys some pipo are greedy. we have the worst hospitals in Zambia and yet someone from MoH can afford buying a H3 and 7 cars for girl friends. Please dont even let him take plea just throw him in the gallows. how many pipo would have benefited from the money he plundered? how many people have died beause of his greediness? this is not on. i wish he was caught whilst Levy was alive. His lodge looks better that the UTH, NCH, KCP. awe i am upset. the government should turn the lodge into MoH offices.

  22. I have always wondered where ppo were getting money to acquire plots at ZNBC neighbourhood and then build withine six or less months when I have been struggling to even do the foundation. Chain them, lock them up and throw away the keys.

  23. First Lady is cute, now i believe that ladies from Eastern are not just great but also beautiful e.g Mum and the first lady.,but this does not mean that in Luapula and Northern we don’t have ladies with the qualities that pipo form east( Mum and Thandi) have.ku luapula na northern nakwena kwaliba imbama e.g Miss Sweet D.

Sweet D mukashana Ba Jehova balikupanga,I have one confession to make to you, copied your photo on LT and each time I look at it ninshi kubelengesha so that in future I can marry someone beautiful like you.

  24. Ba LT what is your problem?pic 8 and 9 ni Patriotic not Patrotic.Owe ba LT what message are you sending to the young bloggers like Meastro Hhe he he?

  25. If the guy stole maybe once or twice and the rest of the property and ssets where aquired through obtaining loans through the banks wht happens then. I mean do they reposes the stolen once and let him keep the legit ones or do they fall under the same ???

  26. Ba Tionge

How are you my sister? long time mwe! Hope and pray the Lord has been blessing you in all the areas of life.

    Mudala Moze

    How are you.

    later mwe Bantu.

All ladies from Eastern are beautiful and great and all the men from eastern are Ugly. ha ha ha ha ha!! the men look like imbeba that is why my mum got married to a bemba guy so that she can have a handsome son like Matworld.

  27. #23 Jelita he is the only decent , good looking Zambian politician i have ever seen too. I wonder if his brains and education are that handsome too

  28. Surely systems should have already been in place to prevent the plundering of so much money by an employee? How does money move from one account into another and dont people start to ask questions when they see somebody spending well above their means? I do hope he was using condoms when he was with his girlfriends – no wonder HIV rate is going down slowly.

  29. Ba Sata, indeed it is time to let Zambia move on without you or RB. It is the BlackBerry era of the Obamas, and there are many Obamas in Zed as well. Give them a chance, you have had your time. Tafipwa kulowa kabili ichalo lifupa kuti wakolokotakofye cashala.

  30. But house building standards are coming up pa Zed. The only unfortunate thing is its plunderers building at a lot of people’s expense.

First LADY looks cool and sweet! This plunderer is another Solomon- 7 girlfriends plus wives- and he can splash- cars for each g/friend ka. KULIBONESHA TA!!!!

  31. Bro Matworld, am good. God has been great to me. I thank him day and night. Born easterner, beautifully and wonderfully made. Study hard so that you make my sister proud.

  32. # 54 Nine Bane – I think you lost. And you wonder why Zambian women run away from you? No one wants to have a moron for a boyfriend like you.

  33. I hope president Banda will have time to read and understand the indaba report since he has not yet started reading Dora ‘s tribunal reports. He has a tendance of filling. Get to Work RB.

  34. Does anybody know if Kapita is married? Comparing him to Sata or RB nikaya. If he was president we would certainly get more lady tourists!

  35. which civil servant is this one, managing seven girlfriend big time. Zambians we are rich, manofye bakapoli bashakwata.

  36. Makali 1 he might be a girlfriend for 7 people only for a few days before he appeals and is out again -shame

  37. Sata looks like a wheel chair bound invalid in that photo but you can still use it to make your kids behave themselves

  38. #54/42 Nine bane. You would get more action if you respected yourself and treated women with dignity and descretion in these matters. Unless you pay for yours – even then, at least respect yourself. Your mother and sisters are women – so treat our black women like the queens that they are. Stop dreaming and claiming, spend more time on improving your priorities in life, including learning some spelling and grammar.

  39. The first Lady is pretty, she should just learn to smile ,she always looks like she is sitting next to someone who smells bad. LT cameraman perhaps you should start saying ” say cheese!”

  40. From money people in Zambia get, very few should afford a car like the one in #2. But then again Zambian applaud people who steal and no wonder batupontelela. This what makes me angry. Only yesterday we heard the EU has given a grant to Zed. This is where money goes. Namulechula ifyofine. Honestly even the people working for these i d i o t s should have questioned why simple accountant in a poor country would afford such.

  41. #73 I agree with you. How could a simple accountant get the money to build those lodges and buy such cars for his 7 girlfriends? Surely there must be some checks(exuse the pun) in the system? Also for him to build those properties it means that the coruption was going on for some time – where were the auditors during that period?

  42. #76 Mwana wa pa ngoma. People in Africa are so heartless. The trouble is this problem is deep rooted. If we were to seriously investigate this scum, you will find that even ministers were involved. You are right, it went on for some time. It hurts.

  43. The audacity! This man is still taking money from Min. of health by holding workshops at his lodge! This is tantamount to treason.

  44. The problem is plunderers dont even know when stop thieving. With all this wealth the accused is still working as civil servant getting not more then k1.8million per month. The question is why is he still working as a civil servant and not dedicating precious time on his businesses instead of other people to manage them.

  45. The hammer and the lodge confiscated belong to one well known TONGA gentleman. He is one of the lower class civil servants and he is a hard core sex maniac for he has five wives. Tonga bull!!

  46. Rupiah ni ndonga ya chimuna. The man is ugly.Sata is handsome mwe!!!!!!!!! Good looks for the president,he reminds me of Savimbi.

  47. Kasempa we are talking about serious issues here. All Zambians suffer because of plundering, so please lets not bring it down to a tribal issue as usual. What is at issue here is that justice is done not where the man comes from. Am sure if you were to examine bonse bamene banadyelapo from his ka network of friends and associates every Zambian province will be represented.

  48. Ba Sata´s pic…got nothing against the old amn but guess it´s about tym he went back to the village just like they did with everyone his age those years way back

  49. Honestly……..I like this civil servant guy. He’s just getting his share……….corruption in Zed is everywhere and at all levels. It’s just that some high ranking officials are untouchable……..

  50. Ba matworld who told you uli imbama! dont cheat yourself. if there are men who are handsome are easteners. “mwaba ukulya ifipato fyabakolwe” & thats why u luk like one.

    EASTENER (DINGAN)

  51. Fellow bloggers, could someone send me the full story to Mumbi’s current status as former PF secretary General. Where is the full story, when did he resign and how, was he sacked? I’v looked through the newspapers but they all seem to just give the see-saw allegations of who abused party funds without much background information?

  52. #72, that has always been my concern about first lady Thandi….i am still waiting to see a picture in which she will be smilling. She is too serious for my liking and that does not depict a better picture of who she is….Ka smile kafunika mami.

  53. indeed as africans we are very stinge! how can one accumulate such wealth at the expense of developmental programmes. if i may ask, are we on course in terms of developing our nation? PLEASE HELP!

  54. The guest houses dont really impress me apart from the one under construction. They are very nice but i have also notoice its like the copying of houses from Nigeria, not that its bad to copy houses from that country. I feel when people are building they dont look byond. When Nigerians are building they want to make houses better than the Western countries, but for Zambians seems they just want to make something on that whichi is local. I think what needs to happens is for Zambians to build, better house like those of the west infact better than those of the west. The swimming pools i have noticed its the traditional one. They could have build it/them in an enclosed room or somethinh. The main thing is when building they should be creativity.

  55. dingeo

Iam really sorry ukukukalifya mutima though I don’t know what I said to make you upset. The only thing that if it is about eastern men being ugly I was just trying to exercise ci tribal cousinship.all I said were jokes I didn’t mean it,we are all wonderfully made.

    once again

Iam really sorry my dear if at all I have pissed you off.

  56. dingeo

Are you from eastern province? Do you believe mulicimbuya? Please forgive me,but as I said above I was just trying to joke with men from eastern being my tribal cousins little did I know that I was my jokes will end up offending someone.Once again Iam very sorry.

  57. #94 monaslisasyndrome, thanks for that link, don’t you think she looks better with a bit of teeth showing! I love that pic and hope she can be tickled more often by whoever.

  58. pipo nichani ma jealous if a person can afford a hummer and also cars for g/friends let him be,mind you an accused person is innocent till proved guilty!!!!

  59. #25 wondered how much was spent to organise a function to recieve R10000. You dont need
to buy a coffin to attend a funenal.its called empathy .i salute the zambians living in namibia .
the govt can only do so much.next time you have five shirts ,remember to give the old one to someone .its never small ,if u understand the benefits.

  60. First lady pic lovely. Keep it up ba LT. I’am very annoyed with this kabwalala guy. Imagine he was stealing from the ministry where we most need improvement, can you think of how many panados the K10billion could have bought. My Nan is sick and we had to sed $$$ for the them to buy everything (gloves and the likes)
This man must pay back every ngwee he stole + interest because he was making profit.

7 girlfriends I’m sure + wife. Te bwaume ubu bu sushi.

  61. #98 it is true that one is innocent etc but if you earn so much per month and what you have exceeds that then people are bound to ask questions. If the person involved has income from somewhere else then why dont they show us? As regards the design of the lodges surely that is not what we are debating here. So if you steal money but build something that is wonderful in terms of architecture then that is okay?

  62. #96 Martworld
Ni pachi mbuya i had a go at my Bemba bululus a few weeks ago so its ok as long as you do say you are joking around especially ka LOL at the end (lol)

  63. Koma ba Trigo shuwa mukamba ati those houses are not impressive? Ask somebody from Ng’ombe township near Roma what they think or somebody from Kalingalinga about the designs of the lodges. Also ask them how long it takes them to get water for them to cook and wash and how often it is available and then ask them if the swimming pool should have been put indoors.

  64. Ba Sata you really are old mudala!! Those black marks on your face show that soon ninshifye mwaya kumulu. Awe mwabomba and please leave the presidential aspirations on the side and thank God that you have lived to see many things. Twatotela

  65. Each picture indeed tells a different story and the Happenings in Zambia of note are the following;
    1. Old Politicians avoid the Mirror ,for fear of what it silently says
    2. Plot one house of Zambia makes the occupants younger , perhaps the reason for scramble for it
    3. The culture of stealing in Zambia is glorified
    4. Let the beautiful lodges be given to health institutions e.g Nursing association , medical association , medical council or back to MOH after all the money came from there

  66. #100 Mwana wa fimo fimo (lol). I did say earlier that such people are applauded in Zambia. Here goes to show what I was talking about. You will hear people saying ninshimbi shilya and that kind of thing. I have considered going flat out to convince the western world to stop giving to Africa-seriously. It may sound funny but really there is no need in giving to Africa if the money will only end up going in a few simple accountants` pockets.

  67. Those corrupt officials must be sentenced to death! Their actions have sent many to their early graves, so they must face the same music.

What beauty are some people praising here? Anyway, they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

  68. 3Rqu that is exactly what the Zambian writer Dambisa Moyo was talking about in her book ‘Dead Aid’. Too much aid has not brought benefits to African people. We really need to re-examine our values. I think what Peter Chipango said was correct – ask the vast majority of Zambians think about those buildings and cars. Most of them dont have a chance in hell of living in such buildings or driving such cars. Even in the west, it is not common to see cars like the ones in the photo.

  69. I think that our first lady’s hairstyle is better than the hairstyle of the first lady of Cameroon! I like her simple but dignified style.

  70. Mwana wa pa ngoma you are right. It`s amazing how expensive cars in europe are “cheap” in africa. Yet people like Bob Geldof were sweating it out to raise money them. I am being serious about starting a campaign against aid to africa. Like I said, funny as it may seem, I think I do not deserve to pay tax only to see it go to waste in africa.

  71. 3Rqu maybe you should contact Dambisa Moyo through her publishers. She is currently living in London but travels frequently to Zambia. I believe that all Zambian school children should read her book at school. She has received a lot of attention globally which I think is a credit to all of us as Zambians.

  72. Could Mr Sata have at one time used Jaribu or Mekako? just a question…inga ninshi yabocha pamenso?

  73. Ba Mrs Veep Kunda nabebve…

there is no way you can wear that black attire when you are as black as me… something brighter.. maybe

  74. Yes #7, Kapita looks HOT mwee… dont get me wrong ..lol Tell him to stand for presidency… we will have a good looking president… ??? the brains, as we do not know him at all!

  75. Anyways good luck to the beautiful lawyer. They must have beautiful children. She is lucky I am not a husband stealer.

  76. uyu plunderer banzeke bamwalila kuti ba zakwatala 7 virgins baka paya ma infidels. eve ali nama 7 virgins mu real life! LMAO. wait he will soon be at UTH for long illness!

  77. Bro Mat it is okay. i am also sorry for having blasted like that. Now i know you are truely my cousin. Sorry once more……

  78. That man from ACCA had his donation misplaced, chimanaga to flood victims. He should have donated learning materails to ZCAS, ZAMIM & CBU. He was not well advised by local guys at ACCA Zambia Branch.

  79. When is the First Lady ever going to change her hair style?Does she have very short natural hair.Too much of one thing is bad.

  80. #133, nabebve ba Veep Kunda,

didnt he know there was a leak from his Bic bilo from home?? or if it happened at work , he would have done with a change of suits located in the office..(I presume they should have wardrobe changes at work??) or take the Jacket off altogether… this is grossly embarrassing…

  81. Imwe leave the first lady alone at least she is true to herself and doesn’t degrade others to feel good about herself. If she likes mukule then leave her be.

  82. _Nice Hummer, maybe he can afford it..I mean they r not that expensive pa S.A
-# 50, aint no way they can turn lodges in to orphanages..I mean it wud be good, but we kno its impossible!!
