Indo Zambia Bank has donated assorted items worth forty million Kwacha to first lady, Thandiwe Banda towards her charity works.

Indo Zambia Bank Managing Director, Satish Shukla says it is important for corporate organizations to support government’s efforts in mitigating the suffering of the vulnerable and less privileged in society.

Mr Shukla said the suffering of orphans and vulnerable children in rural areas is as a result of malnourishment adding that efforts such as Mrs Banda’s charity deserve support and encouragement.

He said, during the donation at State House, that Indo Zambia Bank is delighted to be associated with her charity works.

And receiving the donation, Mrs Banda said she is aware that the global economy is going through a difficult period and that the crunch has severely affected the performance of many companies.

She said despite the difficulties that the country is going through, Indo Zambia Bank has continued to render support to disadvantaged people.

The items donated include two hundred blankets, fifty mattresses and fifty bed sheets.
The first lady expressed gratitude to the bank for its continued support towards her charity work.

Mrs Banda appealed to corporate organizations to emulate Indo Zambia Bank in assisting the less privileged in the country.

Indo Bank, you mean you dont know where or who the needy people are? Why not donate directly to the suffering, instead of involving a third party? I thought banks were the best at such simple logic!

Ba mwenye very pretentious just wanting favors from plot one. Look at Indo Banks trend of donations, its just state house you wonder why? Dont you see the mess at UTH , UNZA and other places? Anyway thats what you can expect from a mwenye.

Corruption!!! These guys shamelessly operate like this all over the world. In the UK, they donate big money to the ruling party. In Kenya, the same. Thandiwe, you think Indians can give you anything for nothing. Wake up and fight corruption. They want you to remember them when it counts. These guys are corrupt. Period.

Tell them to donate directly to orphanages and schools if they care so much. They will not do it because it’s not about caring or donations. It’s about soliciting favours. Stinking behaviour. To receive their open corrption is to cheapen yourself. I hope Thandiwe will give it back.

Ba Indo bank, don’t you know that Thandiwe is on record of refusing to have any charitable organisation. It was HOPE (Help Other People Emmerge) for Vera, MMCI for Maureen and now what is this State house organisation called. Honestly, I’m lost. God help us.
