ZANIS
Let him celebrate on the crocodile in style
Is it of the Bemba speaking people or the Bemba people?
Ba Kunda teku Chitambo ko,even if you brought heaven on earth to Kasama tamwakawine! ! !
Ba PF Veep will be in Kasama and of course campaign at a higher level.
We know wining in kasama is difficult as it is Sata’s stronghold. We are interested in a marked improvement of number of votes for mmd chap. we have a strategy of 50% increase in hostile areas like central kasama. Work on them George. The power of incumbancy!!!!
#2 Tikambeko it is “the Bemba speaking people” because the tradition is not only celebrated by the Royal kinship of the Bemba people (Abena Ng’andu) but it is also upheld by the other tribal groups like the Lungu, Mambwe, Tabwa and Fiba who were previous immigrants that were actually conquered by the original Bemba clan (Abena Ng’andu) and assimilliated their languages into the Bemba language upon their arrival in the region as early as the 17th century.
I hope the explanation helps, I’ll be happy to shed light on any more questions.
Poor George Kunda. RB can’t even give him a chance to go abroad because he is too selfish.
#6 I see. But as far as am aware, the Lungu, Mambwe and Fipa do not speak ichiBemba but their own languages. Also dont the Lungus and Mambwes have their own senior Kings? The Lungu one being Tafuna and the Mambwe one if I am correct is called Zombe?
#8 Being assimilliated into the major tribe, these smaller tribes have every reason to be regarded as Bemba speaking people. They may also have their respective Chiefs but all these are still under the jurisdiction of the Chitimukulu, the paramount Chief of the Bemba people.
Poor George……
We’re burying you next after Tetamalilo! We know you’re dosed and govt money is keeping you alive. We know abt the doctors and specialists treating you from your official residence…..
#9 – My grand-father was Lungu. He never stated that the Tafuna was under the juristiction of the Chitimukulu and always insisted in speaking ichiLungu which as you are aware is very different from IchiBemba. Also culturally, the Lungu and Mambwes are patrilineal whereas the Bemba are matrilineal so that would suggest to me that as regards the Mambwe and Lungu themselves, there was a political and cultural difference between themselves and the Bemba? I am aware that both groups suffered from frequent raids from their more powerful neighbours the Bemba but am not sure if they ever submitted to them beyond the paying of some sort of tribute.
BA GEORGE DON’T GO AND MESS UP OUR GIRLS WITH A VIRUS IN OUR LAND.
