  1. I see lots of adverts about nigerian banks, angolan, kenya, southafrica and many african nations on cnn,bbc and fox running adverts, why cant some of these zambian adverts be broadcsat on international media, youtube videos are not doing any favours to the zambian economy…

  2. Not bad indeed, its nice to see some thing positive about my beloved country. The most beautiful country in God’s creation according to ME. So China is growing so fast economically all because of our Copper, te mulandu sana, tukaba bwino kuntanshi. Miller has taken from his dad and now the sons run that wonderful housing scheme. mmmmmm thanks

  3. There is also business opportunities in the UK.
British victims of the credit crunch are offering to sell their kidneys for £25,000 or more to help pay debts, an investigation by The Sunday Times has revealed.
At least a dozen adverts have appeared on the internet offering kidneys for sale from British “donors”. Five of the sellers corresponded with undercover journalists, who posed as friends and relatives of sick patients to negotiate sales.
One person willing to sell a kidney is a 26-year-old mental health nurse who said he needed the money to pay debts after a business he set up went bankrupt.Another is a 43-year-old taxi driver from Lancashire, who wants to raise cash to pay off some of his mortgage and buy a new kitchen.

  4. Positive insight of Zambia…..Favorite quote from Zambemzi Nkuku director if you want to do business in Zambia or any where in African triple check your biz plan and half your profit…maybe what she forgot to mention is to multiply risk by 10, with erratic power supply.

  5. Sent by the dim Mr Capitalist so what do you expect? This is rubbish to say the least. Even Zimbabwe can do something like this if not better. One needs to be dim to shout about this. Well tried though Mr Capitalist. Positives only hey?

  6. #7 sjc You are a typical example of Africans let alone Zambians who think building a house is investment! Yeah right go and build or buy a little house in Lilayi and then what?

  7. Just google in doing business in zambia on yutube and you will see more. check doing business in any congo, nigeria etc too. Yes, something positive is starting to happen in zed.

  8. Kavidele has been refused to set up his vodacom in zeb. I wonder if they will refuse the congolese vodacom man if he ever decides to branch into zed and set up his shop

  9. Thanks LT this is so nice especially the last Pix of Zambezi Nkuku, those guys are just not making money mu Zed but there are also supporting the locals in Simoonga village and those villages found along the Zambezi River.A nice couple to chat to thanks aurther and judy

  10. Congrats to Zambia! In the latest World Bank report on Doing Business we rank 4th in Africa after Mauritius, SA and Botswana. We improved from 99 to 90 on the global scene. i hope this was out of a deliberate strategy. Anyway, well done.

  11. Magicroundabout: YOU ARE ONE SELF-HATING B@STARD!!

I have followed some of you comments/postings on this blog for quite a while now and, you rarely have
Anything positive to say or contribute, whatever the topic. What is it that you hate so much about Zambia And Zambians!!!!!

Where in the world is building a house not an investment?!! Are you living in the
PROJECTS (Public Housing) where you are in the UK (flag) , scraping a damn living?!
I really doubt it if you are even a Zambian. Who knows, you may be one of those bitter White dudes Bob Mugabe chased out of Zimbabwe!!

  14. #15 Magicroundabout. Have you ever heard of real estate? Building a house in Lilayi or Kaoma is called “Investing in real estate”. The problem with shallow minded people like you think the word ‘investment’ means billion dollar business with a building like Trump towers. Buying a Toyota Mark II and turning it into a taxi is called “investing in the transport sector”. To all those people who believe in our country, lets take back whatever little we have and INVEST in any sector we feel like, no matter how small our investment is. Drop by drop filled the ocean. Am sure this magicroundabout is waiting to be a billionaire before he invests. If you’ve got nothing to say just shut up.

  15. The wealth that country has does’t cope with the current situation, lusaka has no new big buildings other than wat ba KK bakulile, ninshi chilenga, kitwe has alot of money but there is no any tourist hotel along that city, how many mines are in copperbelt, chansoni sana, tapali ama building ayakutinya nangu uwafuma kumushi lelo, awe chiteniko ifyamano……..??????????

  16. ndomfwa ubulanda, naletamba ka clip mu yutube, kitwe town centre imisebo yalibutuluka, dual carriegeway bakulile ba KK still stands on, tulefwaya infrastructure iya sambilila, ama ministers nabo babe na creative responcibility, balemonako kubanabo kufyalo ngabaya naba kateka wachalo, umomufyalo benda , noti kufye mukuchita shoping, ngababwela oh the meeting was nice the nxt meeting wil be in 2020, do the job for the pple nd for the country, kale zambia yali best ukuchila TZ kubukule, nomba TZ iletinya town centre new building although pali 2 mach corruption,ZD naisapula, tinteni insokoshi tulukunuma sana?

  17. Interesting facts to know about doing business in Zambia. I am still looking forward to going back home and invest at home. The culture is still rich compared to the western world. Having lived on this side of the world for over a decade I can say that my heart is still for my country and I am very impressed with the changes its made and going through. There is “HOPE” and I want to be a part of that.
