  1. What a waste of life! So sad that y at this time and age THE MILLENIUM people are still using primitive way to get water.. lets hope the globe trotting politicians will learn something from their travels, that other countries respect their citizens!!! Not just good for nothing show offs with rotting economy back home..

  2. Sad indeed!!! I wonder how Shikapwasha and his MMD govt feel about this!!! Instead of always talking crap develop these rural areas!!! In this day and age people in Zed are still using wells (Ifi Shima)

  3. The community where the toddler lived is to blame for not securing the well. Such wells are common in rural areas where they dont have tap water or nearby streams. But the wells are normally secured to prevent such accidents. A 2 year old cannot just drop into a well. Normally the mouth of the well would be completely covered with a heavy object, otherwise kids and animals like dogs and cats, and rats would fall in. It’s like having a swimming pool at home. You must secure it. The community should accept responsibility for this negligence.

Too bad for losing such a young life.

  4. This is just so wrong, people should learn to be more responsible. My heart bleeds at such news. How does one become so careless that they fail to properly secure a wall shuwa??…… Awe chabipa umwana wesu shuwa, MHSRIP. Tragic!!
