  1. Maybe now she can concentrate on our Passports, nine months after applying, thats too much even for Zambian standards!

  2. #3 State Monkey – You are better off sending your passport applications directly to Zambia through friends and relatives. If you send through the embassy forget about it. People who work at the embassy are tripple threats – Rude, indifferent and incompetent

  3. # 4 ain’t that the truth. The people at the embassy had no clue about and imagine they couldn’t even tell me specific deadlines dates. That ka lady (I’ll leave her name off) who answered the phone every time I called for 3 weeks straight was was so rude. She was getting mad at me because I was asking her questions to which she could provide the answers. # 3 – I just ended up sending the forms plus some $$$$ to a relative in Zambia. I got my new passport in 3 weeks. And the stories of how things are done at the passport office in Zed is scary man. Not to make it any worse for you, but you may never get your new passport my friend. Insala pa zed bane!

  4. Congratulations. I shalll not politicise this because it paints a good picture for our country. Another matter to air out, Patriot noted on watch dog that he has opposing view mostly to stir up conversation; that is good to note, but I would not hire you when I get my own company because that is a sign of a contatious person.

  5. Congratulations ma’am! Like # 6 has already wisely remarked, this should not be a political issue. I’d love to see more Zambians getting such recognition on an international level.

  6. Greetings My brother Nine Chale, hope you are enjoying what Mercedes is doing with those fine machines. The real reason US car manufucturers had their own recession; foreign competition was smoking them, thus their woes started a long time ago. Yes indeed I am happy about reading all these accolades being awarded. Then it hit me, where are we as men in all this, Ba kazi ba vuta ka, from Esther Phiri to Dambisa Moyo, the spot light is bright on Mama Inonge. Oh! I forgot about our brother Amon Simutowe, he too deserves a red passport, I am not knocking Cherise because I hear she was humble and not immmoral on that show.

  7. Plus Nine Chale, I know this sounds crazy but have you seen the new e-class, I disliked Bubble lights but what the have done by changing the lamp index is insane( good). I think the C-Class last year put Benz back on their right full track, not like they were doing bad but that 451 horse power little machine can make one a believer.

  8. Whose life did Inonge improve? She is just enjoying herself, with her overstay in the US. Ambassador 8 years? Why? Give us our passports iwe.

  9. Congratulations! Such an educated, humble and dignified woman. The couple of times I met you proved that. God bless you always.

  10. You see, better than that pocket tribal opposition party you formed, the Agenda for Zambia.
Now just stay there and chew the money.
    Enjoy.

  11. # 11, Lovechild, “humble and dignified woman” my foot! Are you sure? Dont judge a book by its cover. I will forgive you because you have met her only twice. You don’t know bo Inonge you. She is my “sister” but…..

  12. I have always thought that we Zambians do not appreciate our local resources. Why is it that many people from here get there work recognized when they go abroad but make little impact at home. I think part of our problems is that we show little respect for our people and are so willing to listen to foreigners whoever they are. We need to make a transition in our attitudes if we are to move forward as a nation. Otherwise we shall continue to see these INDIVIDUAL

  13. no one picks up the phone at DC office, the surrondings are big mess, this building needs a major make over!!!! I was embarrased when I visited Dec ’08.

  14. You are very right about the embassy officials. Very fontine selfish and dull. We applied for passport 4months ago and we have not gotten nothing from them. secondly this walubita is bad hearted and cares least for the people
    !

  15. These passports are issued by the Passport Office in Zambia so I do not see the logic in some stinking scums of the world here venting out their anger at Inonge. I also note with interest two of the people who have expressed animosity towards Inonge are ardent supporters of Chiluba’s acquital, I smell a tribal bigotry rat here.

  16. # 3 and # 4, the Zambian Embassy is a dead office. There’s this guy Kalaba; he is sick and of no help to any body. What can I say? a tribalist? or is he just selfish? He is like in charge of a section there, any time your papers get to his desk, you need to forget about it. I had to call and ask for the Ambassador, at this point the lady who answered my call promised to send me my infor, which she did. Otherwise nothing good comes from that office.

  17. Njooka, I think you are right on. It did not click to me until I read you post. Our previous ambassador also hailed from the ‘wild wild west’. I still can’t believe such things still exist in this era.

  18. You tribalists just congratulate her, ala, mwe mbwamwe what award have you received yourselves in Life, even certificates mwa kwatafye ama burial certificates, marriage certificates, who can recognise you

  19. #12.Agenda for Zambia was formed by AKA.Fact
Appointments to foreign service are made by Foreign Affairs and not the Ambassadors or HC.Fact
Heroes worldwide are usually appreciated elsewhere and not at home.Bob Nester Marley is treated with ridicule by most Jamaicans.Fact

  20. Congratualtions for this award and many more you have received before Madam Inonge.
Those who know you well know that you are a selfless, hardworking and honest citizen of this world.
You have God fearing principles and no amount of darkeness call blight out your light spot!!Amen

  21. #13 – I was only speaking about the Dr as a public persona, not as a relative or a close friend. Whatever personal issues you and your “sister” might have, are not for us the public. Keep such matters within your family circles. Ever heard of the saying, “Never wash yourr dirty laundry in public”?

  22. #12 Ba Mule just because Agenda 4 Zambia was headed by a Lozi doesnt qualify it a tribal party? You sir are an oxymoron. In what way is Inonge a tribalist? People like you are the bigots coz you hate people because of what they are. Honestly can you mention any one instance in which a Lozi person has discriminated against you? Stop your prejudice my dear. I have always wondered where this prejudice against Lozi people comes from? Is it jealousy? You are the same rotten maggots who want to have it both ways i.e We cant have a Lozi president and there wont be any Barotse self determination. U Nja!

  23. To all those that resent us my great grand father realized the value of education! I suggest you do the same for your own children. PROUD MEMBER OF THE LOZI ROYAL FAMILY.

  24. i actually thot the problem of passports n incompetent workers at the embassy was just here in Russia.it is sad to hear tht even in the US tht happens.sometimes i question the essence of foreign mission.theses guys r rude n dnt wnt to work!!

  25. #4, #20 and #30 The attitude of some embassy staff is deplorable, it is the same even here at the Zambian high commission in London.
