  1. More like resuscitated. They were originally lost when the mine was closed. All the same, good luck, and hope you are not paid ma five zali

  2. Yes employment will be created 200 jobs but the whole purpose will be defeated by low salaries and poor safety observance by these investors. The Govt is very much aware of these prevailing working conditions but are zee. May be some one has been bribed. What is happening to China – Zambia Mulungushi Textiles plant in Kabwe. It has been zee and nobody is talking about it? Next time we shall hear the mchinery has been stripped and shipped to West Africa. That is a huge investment going to waste. Do we have economists who care about GRZ investments?

  3. …and then what after that? When all our Nickel and copper is exploited and the chinese go back to their land. People lose jobs again and left with nothing to leave on after that and zambia gains little put nothing from this all thing. Just what is the long term insurance does Zambia have from this sugar coated deal? Just hope its not another short term solution to our ever occuring problems

  4. We shouldnt blame the Chinese. Nobody can just come into your house unless you let them in. We need to address HOW we let outsiders in to benefit from our resources why our people dont. Only our leaders can explain this – what do they offer the Chinese, is there corruption, what exactly do they expect as benefits to Zambians. The Chinese have not come with guns. So we have had time to reason with them. How good is out business reasoning, our negotiations with them?
