  1. The drivers for these big buses(So called Marcopolo) they are too much into overspeeding. When I was last december,I got on one of them enroute to Kitwe, though i arrived in good time but the driving needed much to be desired.

  2. #2, the man played music on an empty stomach, thats hunger. #3Next beauty queen pa zed, give her five years or so, hope she goes to sch.
#6 our mum looks as though she’s from Darful region, sudan. Nice pics LT

  3. You mean you guys did not know, the Kaunda days are back whatever you can think of in Kaunda time is being brought back. OK i will give you two examples 1. Linning up of school children on the road sides to wave at the president 2. Queing for commodity, in the current case its for fuel. If these two are not true or are not happening then am not telling you the truth. Are they not happening? ok the me paraphase are they not there in the pictures above? Therefore if there are happening and were there in the kaunda days then the Kaunda days are back. That is why our Presidents name is Mr. Bwezani, which means to return or one who returns. Though am not saying he will return after 2011. It will be up to the citizens to vote whom they want. But one thing for sure leadership is not easy…

  4. #12 and #12, “Czech Republic of Zambia and Zimbabwe” This does not make sense at all. Please revisit this sentence. Chizungu chizungu!

  5. I am wondering, will GBM, MP for Kasama Central compensate the victims of the road traffic incident? I have always advocated for travel insurance to be part of public bus fares in Zambia sio that victims can be taken care of in hospital and the bereaved can receive compensation for the loved ones who die. The hospital care also needs to be paid for.

  6. rootsman4life
He is Czech Republic ambassador accredited to both Zambia and Zimbabwe. Just like Agnes Ngoma is for Mozambique and Swaziland, or Nevers Mumba for Canada and Cuba.

  7. Judging by the first few pictures there’s a dire need for dental health in rural areas and in the whole country generally. Seriously, bad dental health can trigger other health problems.

  8. Ok buti pic. # 6 ili ko bad. How can a human being look this…kaya..I will let you finish the statement, lest you accuse me of something

  9. Ba L.T. Pic #16 should read Kapata market. Weldone and well travelled Ba L.T. You spread your wings and eyes all over Zambia..

  10. GEMIN bus drivers are not given enough time to rest. The last time i got on one of their buses from L/stone i established that the driver had just arrived in livingstone at 18:00 and was told to return to Lusaka at 20:00. We almost crushed near Kalomo until we told him to rest for an hour in kalomo before proceeding.

  11. Lt well i like the comical elements you have added to the discription of the pictures like lupiya in picture 7, it is really looks as if the guy actually compalining of a knee problem and then in picture 4 where the guy is thinking of how to fix his datsun, it looks like fwaka yamukola umugaiz and then he starts making plans of how to fix his unfixable car.Big hands up LT thats good photo journalism.

  12. Pic#8 – exploiting children, ‘Our fertilizer is already here’ the poster says. Those kids didn’t even write that c.r.a.p

  13. #12. it means the ambassador form Czech is responsible for two missions Zambia and Zimbabawe. Just like Zambia in West Africa the mission in Nigeria has other countries under its belt.. Does it make sense now.

  14. Pic 7 is the chief the one next to Bwezani or he is behind the desk?If he is why is presido facing the wrong way to greet

  15. Zambia has just been ‘bragging’ about having quite a sufficient cache of foriegn reserves and suggesting that it uses some of it to buy gold from the IMF. Looking at these pictures of the week, I would imagine a good portion of those reserves is needed to sort out a lot of socio-economic matters of those very people lining up to ‘greet’ Bwezani in Eastern province. While they are made to line up and pour meaningless praises on him, they should also realistically assess what he has done for them.

  16. Lundazi seems to be an interesting place with interesting people….

The accident was really nasty, Lord have mercy on the injured victims.

  17. #29 Figures of economical development only make sense to politicians, such figures do not benefit 90 percent of the population. Its dream land!

  18. Dental services mwe bantu, pic#6 when I first looked at the picture I thought she was eating maize. We’ve got along way to go kwena otherwise nice pictures.

  19. For sure picture number 6, that person to me looks like revolution is still in process. Guys do you still remember from your history the transformation in the early ages?

  20. Pictures from Kanele and Chama kukaya are really challenging bushe cameraman taubikilepofye iya ku Darfor but number 6 yakanga.
    Pictures from Mongu look decent.

  21. I can not believe the appearance of those two women at no. #6 and no.#1 pictures. Were they their real teeth or what? The first picture, that woman can deffinately swallow someone.

  22. #27 yes we know but it was supposed to be “…..the Czech Republic’s Ambassador to Zambia and Zimbabwe…..” and not “….the Czech Republic of Zambia and Zimbabwe’s Ambassador…”. I can see it has now been corrected.
