  1. #1 Does that face to you look like a man with a purpose? This is how all MMD ministers will look, come 2011, if they don’t die of shock. The PACT is on the move. Start saving your gratuity if you are not to look like Pic #1 and #2

  2. LT if you start showing pictures of former ministers in that state then the current ministers will start stealing to avoid that kind of situation

  3. Pic 1&2
LT you shouldn’t be adding such comments to the picture it is not right are you sure he was looking for a job on the street like that????

Stop embarrassing people the man might be disillusioned after losing his job, might be in need of canceling and you make fun of him let him be.

    • Wow that was odd. I just wrote an very long comment but after I ccilked submit my comment didn’t appear. Grrrr well I’m not writing all that over again. Anyways, just wanted to say great blog!

  4. Ba Mr Alex musanya bafwile tabaibile akalupiya kabili nganine nali Minister elo nachita retire ,kuti bamona kwena ati eee PUBAFU uyu alisakwila apakulu, ukulaenda filya kwati nimukunkunya.

  5. The ex minister picture is good quality but for what value iam not sure. iam disgusted with the captions. he may be an ex minister in a discredited government but iam dont agree with this luck of respect and sensitivity. maybe the man is ill and all he may need is to be shown the right doors regardless. so that coming up with those silly captions removes some of the close i took LT’s intergrity. there is need to excercise some humility and not be disrespectful. At best you can find out by asking the man or otherwise what the problem could be. This is not the journalism we want to see. be objective and prfessional and dont behave like kachepa’s..”maybe ronney and co have a point in trying to bring in regulations?”….I beleive you owe the zambians an uncontitional appology.”I rest my…

  6. This must have been a very sad week in Lusaka…I can count more frowns than smiles on people’s faces. On the other hand, hard times & car accidents don’t make anybody happy. Maybe the weekend will be better…

  7. tell him to come and see me, i may share with him what i have in Zamtrop. in fact with my case now gone, i can with draw the money that i was give by some well wishers which i put into the Zamtrop account in London.

  8. I fully understand the sentiments of some bloggers about LT’s comments on pics 1 & 2 – they have a derogatory touch. The former Minister’s personality is not potrayed on the photo, only his appearance – and we all DO appear shabby at one time or another, so basing a comment on one’s appearance alone is simply unfair. Having said that, lets bear in mind that whoever wrote the captions is also human and fallible by nature.

  9. Pic # 2 Musanya is stealthily reading newspaper headlines from newspapaers placed on the pavement. Can’t afford to buy one after years of joblessness.

  10. Pic#1,2 – Yangu ba Musanya!
Pic#3,4 – Mwamba should pay the victims families and hospital bilsl for all those involved in the accident. Any lawyers out there who can represent them?

  11. Alex Musanya is a lawyer. He was certainly not looking for job but might have been relaxing only…and trying to wonder what has happened to this country……

  12. #20 ulenyafye lawyer kwisa ,nechishati kwati ni Mr IBU,Alex musanya is finito.bulimi bwakale…………iyo ine nalichite nomba chatilile…….atase

  13. #21, Lokombwe walitumpa!!! How did you know cha kwa Mr. IBU?
My second guess was ni STONE WASH bafwele ba mudala. Ne itoloshi BUBBLE WASH.
    Bapokele kaboi wabo ifyakufwala.
The man was trying to see how it feels to choke himself to death, he has had enough.

  14. #24 Akapondo

We are not here for spell checks ok the beauty of it is that you actually knew exactly what was meant to be written, besides that honestly i have no time to type a comment and go through it several times to correct spellings am not writing for some high power as long as you can make sense of what is written then you are good.

What if we start using text-ing short hand then what?????

  15. They say a photo can tell alot of things. Its funny how people on this blog are busy saying that the former minister looks like his ‘finished’ and why didn’t he steal some money from the government? Well, you would have been the same people talking about corruption and all those other things if he had. Its like we Zambians are good for nothing people we don’t know what we want. When leaders steal from us we cry and when leaders don’t steal from us we laugh at them and ask why they didn’t steal. Do you think when one retires he wears a suit 24/7? Maybe the guy had just come from his farm and he was looking for fertilizer to buy or other hardware parts, freedom way has a lot of hardware stores. Even us, do we go to all places in suits?

  16. Buying fertiliser? Awe batata not when one has his hands wrapped like that. Ati ama suit ee ine napakulala nimuli suit batata. Ala tetibandeke ukumoneka ngabayama aba mucipikichala.

  17. Our heavyweight champion! is it true that because of runing out of money he can `t even put on stockings, ? Is it true that he doesn`t have even socks? or he just wanted to really look poor to the president?

  18. #30 taumwene ati na Chishimba Kambwili na standing naishupa, i think uyu umwaiche kuntanshi ni bad news, umukalamba pa last kuchayafye “stand at ease!! and attention!!”

  19. Same pics being shown several times why ba LT? The minibus mangled in the accident appears God knows how many times here, was this the only event in the week?

  20. Is that really Mr Jazzman Chikwakwa,he looks so thin,i guess it’s as a result of a recent illness,i remember seeing a picture of him being airlifted to UTH.

  21. #19. Not only you. Most of the people expected Solwezi election coverage. But, this is Zambia anyway. Everything is misplaced. ‘President nasundila kolwe mukanwa, imwe mulelemba pali kolwe uusundile president mukanwa’. What kind of reporting is that.

  22. Alex Musanya, Lawyer? Where do you fellows get the data from? There are 636 registered legal practitioners in Zambia. Alas he is not one of them….. What law did he study?? Which night school did he attend?? At least we can say he tried……..

  23. Prophetess at #17 you are an id.i.o.t. How many families has the government, aned i mean any government, from UNIP to MMD, have been killed through accidents by GRZ vehicles, plabnes, trains and buses and have been compaensated by GRZ? Talk sense. You are trying to blame GBM for things he has no control over just because you don’t like him as a person. He does not force any one to ride on his buses and he has insurance you ignorant SOB!! It just shows how igrant you are. No lawyer will take up that s.tu.p.i.d case and go with it anywhere!

  24. #45, Chenda Bwamba :

Are you really serious with your comment? It is your kind of attitude that has held Zambia back. Do you really want to encourage your kind of thinking towards doing business in Zambia? What era, decade, or planet do you live on? Just because others have stolen before and gotten away with it does not make robbery OK, my friend!!!

Come down to earth my man and lets us all promote 21st century way of doing things in Zambia—-and CARRYING ADQUATE INSURANCE is a good 21st century instruments for such mishaps. Tomorrow it may be one of your nieces, cousin, sister, or even your mother on one of those buses. My goodness!!!!!

I sure hope there is a law in Zambia that forces Bus Operators/Companys to carry Insurance. If not, one is needed quickly!!!

  25. Easy Chapman easy. Ni ndonga pamenso iyi. Alright ngani doggy mulechaya and in the dark. Make sure when you finish you don`t see her again.

  26. LT. word os advise, be positive on zambian activies/happenings, u gonna build confidence in most of us to comeback and invest more, would u please show us investments potentials and a few successes of/for doing business in zambia…………………..

  27. Nice pics ba LT……Mwaiche VETERAN / SENIOR CITIZEN,simply reminding you to be careful about your blind support of RB….You`ll end up like MUSANYA

  28. CONGRATS to the pact,we advised HH and SATA to work together as they are doing now before the bi-election just after Leavy died MHSRIP.BUT they both refused,SATA thought BANDA will be walkover.ONE OTHER THING! When the MMD wins the elections is rigging, but when the pact wins you will not even hear that word.

    • I grew in Newmarket and spent much time at your Mount Albert location and then ltenvuaely your Newmarket location. I moved to the Kingsway area a few years ago and I was elated to find a Vince’s around the corner! Now I am very sad to notice that Vince’s on Bloor Street has closed down. I was under the impression that it was undergoing renovations but I see from the above postings that this is not so. I really hope that you will consider looking for another location in and around the area (somewhere with less leasing costs) so that the many of us in the Kingsway/Etobicoke area can continue to enjoy your fresh baked goods, prepared meals and other offerings. Please do consider it!Thanks,Jen

  29. # 36 I have just created curriosity about you mentioning the town I leave in, please can you tell me your name or just where we mate so that I can remember you my freind. Please please please.

    # 52 called dj, are you sure it is so hot in Zambia durring rain season that people don.t need socks? then why didn`t he put on sandals or ama tropical insteard of shoes? have you seen that he has even tietened the shoelasses. My freind if those shoes ware taken out from his feet in a small room, septic tank nikutali.

  30. People leave Mr Musanya alone. He is my relative and a humble man who is financially comfortable. #13 why is he seing the president for that and not the minister of sports?
