Kennedy Mudenda Bounces Back For Cecafa

Share

Kennedy Mudenda has been recalled to the Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup team just 24 hours after he was dropped from the 18-man travelling party.

The 2008 Faz footballer of the year and Power Dynamos midfielder was recalled after three Zanaco players were excused from international duty this weekend in the season finale against Kabwe Warriors in Kabwe.

Defender Charles Siyingwa, midfielder Allan Mukuka and goalkeeper Joshua Titima did not travel with the team today to Kenya.

However, coach Herve Renard ruled out Titima for the Cecafa tournament and instead replaced him with Green Buffaloes goalkeeper Davey Kaumbwa.
Renard said he was expecting Mukuka and Siyingwa to join-up with the team on Monday after playing for Zanaco in their title-deciding away match at Warriors.
