  1. Zambian journalism standards must be very poor. Honestly how do you continue on reporting on something and fail to give your readers a full view of the ‘object’ you seem to be so obsessed with. Good journalists or bloggers would have cared to give their readers the overall image or picture of the new border post.

  2. #4, kaili they r both Zimbo’s , both have got younger wives..both are old and useless…they r both ugly…the list is endless, in short, they share the same taste.

  3. #5 Katalina…
I was just telling someone that Zambia national is too lousy for a team; no wonder their presido is so annoyed now he is busy slapping journalists…I hope the source of your info correct, otherwise watch out for Kalu!!
Good benz limo, I will wait till nkaninemo.

  4. Thanks for the pics LT but it would have been nice to see the Border post infrastructure too along with RB and his convoy instead of just Mugabe and his people or are you reserving the other pics for Friday?

  5. Anyone tasted the roasted goat meat on Chirundu Siavonga turn off??? its yummy!!! that boy in Pic #5 is doing a good job.. brings old memories…

  6. Iwe #2 are you paying ba LT anything for you to ponta about the photos? if you don’t like the music, change the channel..otherwise ba LT good job and we are feeling you some of us. Atlest you are trying you best and I can see that you are improving day by day and becoming too popular. You make may Zambians…

  7. #4 ZANU-PF cadre not able to take a bottle of Mosi back to Zim. Bit ironic when one considers that the whole purpose of the new development is to ease the movement of people and goods between the border.

  8. #8 I thought that the new presidential car was ordered by the late LPM? If that is the case then your analysis is somewhat unfair dont you think?

  9. #20 dont believe everything Mulongoti tells you to cover up his behind. Just do a lil analysis by yourself. Let Mulongoti tell you when levy ordered that vehicle and find out when Mercedes Benz start manufacturing those cars. Coz as far as am concerned thats a 2009 version and levy has been dead for over a year meaning that car was ordered before levy died. Is Mulongoti saying they ordered that car before 2008 september, or before levy was even hospitalised? Those cars were not out on the market in June 2008. Unless they tell us that GRZ knew what the engineers at Mercedes Benz were designing and ordered a car before Mercedes Benz even finished testing a car, which you and i both know is impossible. That car is not Obamas car (the beast) which didnt even take more than one year to make!

  10. u dull blogger we have already established that LPM bought the benz but died before he could use it. you silly monkeys are duller that mpombo

  11. #23 I am one person that does not believe Mulongoti most of the times, but on this issue Mulongoti is right the car will never take one month to order and be delivered. The design for the this Benz came out in 2007 check mercedes benz web site. People believe everything HH, MS and the Post newspaper say please get the facts online before writing.

  12. #2. Every blogger was looking forward to see the full structure of this building. But, this is expecting too much from our journalist. There are certain obvious things one would wish our journalists would improve on, but Zambians have just decided not to do the right things at all times.

  13. I’m surprised those that were busy ponting about RB’s new Merc have kept quiet now that they’ve seen even even Mugabe has one too.

  14. #26 If the pres was travelling in a shabby car, the same people would be saying that even Mugabe’s car is better than RB’s and the guy is embarassing Zambia. There was a time when Thandiwe was criticised for wearing the same outfit twice. The next week she was accused of being extravagant because she had a Louis Vuitton bag! Guess such fickleness comes with the territory.

  15. #26, Mercedes Benz released that design somewhere around June – September 2008. This is one thing i know for a fact. And about believing these politicians gaining political mileage from anywhere…i don’t believe any politician be it ruling or opposition. But i still respect your opinion on the matter.
#24 Am sure you are very intelligent. If some of us are dull how did i manage to complete my Masters in Aerospace engineering (commonly known as rocket science) and have a one year internship at G.E in Montreal ? Am sure you are proud of your cleaning job in the States. If you disagree with someone on anything that doesn’t mean they are dull neither are you, you just see things differently.

  16. PIC 2&6 That woman the dance is beyond limits wafwa baisa, ilete kuno, ilete kuno ati yanga ama thousands ukwete ayakumpa? lol

  17. Great pics LT!

These pics also seem to confirm the saga that a weekend in Zambia can be very boring without the following:

    1. good food (pic 5)

    2. good drinks (pics 3 & 4)

    3. good women…(guess which pic?)

  18. Nice pics ba LT, Namibian President just ordered two of those mercs at a cost of R10m, now i know where he got the idea from. Can’t be the odd one out now can he?

  19. Where is this border post built? Since there is a river in between. On Zambian or Zimbabwean soil? Is there no man’s land there?
