However, Clifford Mulenga who had a stomach bug has recovered to make the bench while Christoper Katongo as usual will captain the team.

Line up: Mweene, Nyirenda, Musonda, Sunzu, Chintu, Mbola, F.Katongo, Kalaba, Chamanga, C.Katongo, J.Mulenga.

  33. Why has this Renard guy substituted Kalaba with Kasonde? I am not happy with the team that started. T. Nyirenda plays as a left back at his club Zanaco and not as a midfielder. Herve is turning out to be another Burkhard Ziese who used to misplace players.

  54. It’s 3-2 to the Lions! All I can say is that we have a useless coach. He’s misplacing players. This has led some of them to be commiting unnecessary errors which could have been avoided if right players were put in right positions. I therefore suggest that the coach be sidelined in the next game and his Zambian assistants takeover from him.

  64. Our boys are not that bad as I thought. We just need a better coach to tell them what to do. Our players can make something may in future. Gnite Zambia

  69. We are not yet out. We can beat Gabon and qualify to the quarter finals. The boys are ok. I think they have a couch who understands the game. No need to change the couch, this guy is doing great considering the quality of players he has. We need to invest in the players if the game of soccer is to improve in Zambia. Cameroun was a better side but we did our part.

    Chipolopolo we are still with you. Gabon is beatable…..Go Zambia go!!!!
