Chizyuka is a Lunatic with just a big head with no brains – HH

Share

UPND president Hakainde Hichilema

The United Party for National Development (UPND) President Hakainde Hichilema has described, Namwala Member of Parliament, as a lunatic with just a big head with no brains.

The embattled MP has tirelessly attacked the party leader, Mr. Hichilema and campaigned against him charging that the party president has lost direction by joining into a pact with the Patriotic Front (PF).

Yesterday, outspoken UPND MP called for the immediate impeachment of Mr. Hichilema because he is a visionless leader.

Maj Chizyuka charged that Mr Hichilema is just being used by Patriotic Front (PF) leader Michael Sata in the UPND/PF Pact.

Mr. Hichilema however said that though Mr. Chizyuka single handedly debated against the decision within the UPND , he lost the debate and the entire party decided to go ahead with the pact.

Meanwhile, the UPND president has charged that the intelligence of his party representation at the on-going national constitution conference NCC blocked the ruling (Movement for Multi Party Democracy) MMD party on the 50% +1 vote clause and forced the matter to go for a referendum decision.

Briefing the press this morning, Mr. Hichilema indicated that the national constitution making process has been mishandled by the MMD but the UPND representation has put up a splendid performance by giving the ruling party a good run for their money.

Mr. Hichilema said that that the MMD leadership has failed Zambians because it has always been a minority government but the people have called for the 50% + 1 vote clause to be enshrined in the national constitution and that will be upheld at all costs by the UPND.

He said that it is clear that the presence of the UPND in the constitution making process, which is an intelligent one, has had a great influence in the direction and pace of various critical regulations in the forth coming constitution.

He has however observed that now that the majority clause has been pushed to a referendum, it is vital that Zambians use the ability to vote wisely and prove to the MMD which direction the constitutional making process should take.

  1. In one word. Disgraceful. How can you can you describe a fellow human being that you worked with like that. And you want to be a leader of Zambia? I see you have really smoked Kanyalism and inhaled it.

  2. Young man derogotory speech does not suit you at all. Even where you may have a point, you loose the plot. You are very funny atti “Big head with no brains”, remeber that that man with no brains was an MP you selected at one point. So watch your statement, dont reduce yourself to the level of some well known politicians, who lack diplomacy….However Mr president what about the position of your MP’s who also unamicouly voted for the degree clause whats your take on that one….was that also innteligence on your MP’s, to block your pact rival?

  3. RB has not used such language against Mpombo. So, how do you think people are going to compare you HH against RB in terms of being a leader? Already you are so notorious for insults. So far RB seems to be a more respectable leader than you – which is very sad.

  4. The problem in Zambia is that we have too many chiefs not enough Indians. Every politician wants the big seat as their #1 goal then if they get some free time they might serve the people.

  5. This is not an insult , firstly head just refers to head although in this case a big one. lunatic aaaa he has called a spade a spade, a lunatic there is no other way to call it, its a lunatic. These would be insults if it were the MMD saying them to the pact. thank you. F membee

  6. This man is truly a disgrace to degree holders. No leadership or diplomatic skills. One moment he’s saying something wise in the Post, the next moment he’s sufferring from verbal diarrhoea. I don’t even know what to say to him now becoz you would expect him to articulate facts and invalidate Chizyuka’s attacks. Perhaps Chizyuka has a point, especially if you consider the drop in the party’s popularity since 2001. What could have caused that if not bad management of the party and lack of vision?

  7. Okay HH, here you need to make a public apology. That is not how we know you. Insults will not help you build your image. Emulate Obama, he remains calm in the midst of criticism. Thats what we call leadership. I don`t know you like this. Is it because of your association with the cobra that you have also become like a snake? We need your apologies.

  8. HH-air head at least politically. The demise of once a strong party UPND became “up and down” under this degreed man who wass full of promise. At this rate I will vote for RB.

  9. HH’s behavoiur is not surprising… he is after all, learning from the degree holders of insults…PF :d/:):d/

  10. Good Evening

Just when I was beginning to give him reverance because of his wise words in The Post today, he comes and blunders here on LT. If Chizyuka is really what he describes him to be, the best thing a degree holder and aspiring leader can do is to put him on ignore and move on to deal with more important issues. Political beef wont take Zambia anywhere. It is time to get serious. If you’re not able to deliver the goods, just throw in the towel and make way for those with a vision and a plan!

  11. Those are the degrees you are advocating for. Pipo do understand that in Zambia there are wise young men who will not get degrees because they cant afford them, but are wise enough to become presidents. degrees go with money, and money does not make leaders. Choose leaders by merit, not by degrees acquired bogously. We even have degrees from matero university. Rubbish.
A degree in fish farming does not make you a good president pliz.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, a degree in music may not make you a good president pliz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! my grand father may now get a degree in plaiting impasa (reed mats) and that may not make him a good president. make better the education standards and system in Zambia b4 you bring this degree nonsense.

  12. Watch your tongues you mature politicians please. It is the same tongue you use to shower us with huge promises and yet again it is same tongue that you curse fellow human beings. What then shall we believe from your speeches? We can not distinguish between a political cadre and a political leader. These traits you are exhibiting now will come to haunt you when you enter State House. Just look around and you will see how pride and selfishness corrupts leaders in power. Be mindful and positive in your speeches because what people want is leadership that is strong, wise and slow to anger.

  13. Ok but I watched major chizyuka waffling on TV (ZNBC news the other day), it was a sorry sight. He didnt even seem to know what he was talking about. News editor had to cut him short. didnt show substance in what he was trying to say. Presentation was very very very poor. HH may be not that wrong after all in his description of the major in question. Is the major sponsored by ***

  14. I have heard this man speak on several occasions, the man is far from an empty head.Even in parliament he is quite articulate.HH instead of you showing political maturity, you have shamelessly shown high levels of childishness. This is not the behaviour of a degree holder. I think you may not be presidential material at all.On this one you are wrong.

  15. This Chap with his fical language has insulted God who see a perculiar being in Chizyuka made in the maker’s own likeliness.Even if HH is a mansonist, he should have taken time to orient himself with descency and morality. Time should have taught him by now that insults and cursing God is no winner or game changer in Politics. What he has done besides insulting God over his creation is validate that he takes any dissent and free minds as synonymous with useless personality. In my country he who insults God’s creation stands no chance to enter plot one.Even Mwanawasa called Mazoka and his UPND unconvertable “buttocks” when he was already President.Say that as an aspirant, you guy a zambian rejection. What would stop him from insulting Zambians in dissent? HH has overeacted to the truth.

  16. Sata’s eyes scare children – Rupiah

Senior Citizen, in August 2009, Rupiah Banda was quoted as having said that PF leader Michael Sata’s big red eyes scared children and that was why they preferred to attend his rallies and not Sata’s. What is the difference between HH’s attack on Chizyuka and RB’s attacks on Sata? Wasn’t Sata also created in God’s image?

  17. #21 Sata and RB are cousins and RB did clarify that point at some point and asked HH to stay out of their cousinship. Remember the Monkey incident at press conference, RB said he will send it to MR Sata basically saying northerners eat monkeys, just like easterners eat rats and nobody made an issue of that because they understand that cousinship relationship.

So don’t mix issues here. I challenge you to produce any quote where RB verbally abused HH. Last time RB was heard talking about HH was to ask him to respect elders

  18. If you follow closely the blogs on #20, 21 and 22 you will realize that Senior Citizen is also the same MMD chief bootlicker. I also tend to suspect he also masquarades (sp) as Patriot and Capitalist. Watch the language of these 4 characters. It has signature connotations of mirror image.

  19. Sata has degree (POST headline 24/01/2010). PATRIOTIC Front (PF) secretary general Wynter Kabimba yesterday said PF leader Michael Sata qualifies as a candidate under the provision recommended by the National Constitutional Conference (NCC), which requires a degree holder for president.

Addressing a workshop for returning officers for the party elections, Kabimba explained to the delegates that the ultimate objective of the elections after the provincial elections shall be the convening of the party general conference that would be held before the end of 2010.

  20. “According to the party electoral rules; for a member to qualify to contest the position of party president, he must also qualify under the Constitution of the Republic. This is after the central committee of the party has by resolution endorsed such a member and his candidature has been approved by the party’s national council,” Kabimba said. “In view of what I have said, you will appreciate that the party cannot ignore the recommendations of the on-going NCC, in particular the recently reported requirement that a presidential candidate under our Republican Constitution must be a person who holds a first degree. Some of our members have been calling to find out whether or not Mr Sata would qualify under such a constitutional provision if he is elected at the party’s general…

  21. Imwe naimwe, muntu afuna kuku menya what can you say?? And the continues to threaten other people too, what can you him?? you are not just thinking straight, the man wants to fight anyone who opposes him, or if he sees compettion.. I can also call him a big with no brains if he did that to people in my sphere..
Chiz has lost his direction and now he is using anger to move forward.. Mulelekeni HH ateke..

  22. ……Mr Sata would qualify under such a constitutional provision if he is elected at the party’s general conference.

“Let me take this opportunity to re-assure all our members and supporters that Michael Chilufya Sata does qualify to run as president under the provisions of the current Constitution and he also qualifies as a candidate under the provision recommended by the NCC, which requires a degree holder for president. If the NCC recommendation is enacted into law, it is not Michael Sata who will ultimately look stupid but the initiators of that provision and all its supporters in the NCC.

  23. As this is not a provision demanded by the ordinary people of Zambia who are only interested in a president who exhibits compassion, humility, wisdom, courage and one who guarantees them protection against foreign economic invasion. These are not traits or values you acquire through a degree in law, economics or whatever form of academic qualifications. They come after long, extensive and wide experience in public life with a proven record of personal commitment to the welfare of the poor.”

  24. Kabimba summed up his address with a quote from the Justice H.R Khanna of India.
“In conclusion, let me re-state the words of the Honourable Mr Justice H.R Khanna of the Supreme Court of India on the making of India’s constitution when he says: ‘The framing of a constitution calls for the highest statescraft. Those entrusted with it have to realize the practical needs of the government and have, at the same time to keep in view the ideals, which have inspired the nation.

  25. They have to be men of vision, yet they cannot forget the grassroots. They have to be exponents of ideals but in quest for them they cannot forsake basic pragmatism nor ignore harsh realities. They have to put aside for the time being ambition which drives the politician to search for power and the thinker to the construction of an abstract system,” Kabimba stated. “…Not anointed priests but men with proven grasp of affairs, who have developed resilience and spaciousness of mind through seasoned and diversified experience through study of history not only of their country but also of other countries, through calm contemplation of the present, through deep thinking and sensitive awareness of the inarticulate feelings of their fellow men, have to be the persons whom destiny and…

  26. …through calm contemplation of the present, through deep thinking and sensitive awareness of the inarticulate feelings of their fellow men, have to be the persons whom destiny and historical forces entrust with the task of drafting the constitution.

It is a rare and unique occasion in the history of a nation that a generation of men is called upon to frame the constitution of a country. Such occasions do not recur often in the life of a nation and it becomes essential that those entrusted with the task should be conscience of their great role and the supreme importance of their assignment. On their wisdom and sagacity, their vision and foresight, their perspicacity and discernment depend the mode of life, happiness and wellbeing of succeeding generations of men, women and children…

  27. RB is the only President who has never uttered insults to anyone. The President is humble, good listener and approachable. The man is a true leader. Look at pact, you can even tell how worse the party would be when we come towards elections.

  28. I have lost respect for HH…If one behaves like a dog, you should not behave like one coz it will be hard for pipo to differentiate the real dog or fool between the two of you. My advise for HH is not to respond to whatever everyone is saying, he should focus on being productive and saying positive things.

  29. 😮 HH has lost the plot. It seems Sata’s uncouth personality is rubbing off on him, after all birds of the same fearthers flock together. You can’t compare these two “insultants” with the mature and experienced high calibre former diplomat RB. [-(

  30. Let them keep on losing their credibility through insults. RB is a Diplomat and very intelligent president. RB has brought sanity in this Nation and we are very proud of him. Those who hide in the name of nice presidents to be are already showing us their true colors before they even reach the veranda of plot one.

  31. RB. What does this stand for? Rehabilitated Bustard. This is for all of you Merchant of Poverty. Your time is up! Change has come. HH is not an insulting any one. (insult: A rude expression intended to offend or hurt). HH is not trying to offend any one, he is saying what they really are. No offense intended…run chola boys run!!!!!!!!!!!

  32. I would not be surprised if the pact was to be dismantled because everyone can see how the behaviour of two candidates is. I will also not be surprised if at all they start fighting for a stool because they are both greedy and they are eying the seat in Plot 1. Let me assure the Zambians that these guys will never rule Zambia. Presidency is for humble not sarcastic people!

  33. the manuvours by the mmd wont take them anywhere and all of you buggers you will become shit if you think a degree will deter H.E Sata as expected by mmd fools today’s headline there yopu gat it.let us if now you will resort to age after all nyama soya is actually older than sata. hey by the way you are excited about degree holders have you seen how many *****s have degree in the house? get a life and stop shitting.

  34. Following “He said that it is clear that the presence of the UPND in the constitution making process, which is an intelligent one, has had a great influence in the direction and pace of various critical regulations in the forth coming constitution” above, I would like to commend the mighty U(PND)-Team for being clever than its PF counterparts in the PACT that are now throwing their weight into NCC by media pronouncements.

As for Major Chizyuka and president (and PACT Leader) HH, there is still room for reconcilliation. Due to the Degree Clause on the Presidential Candidate, it might just be necessary to break away from the PACT at a good time UPND.

I wish you U-TEAM all the best as you offer an alternative to MMD.

  35. Following the Times of Zambia Newspaper report, the PF leader “Mr Sata said the clause was as good as the rules during colonialism which stated that if one had to be a leader, he or she should possess standard four qualifications or have a pay slip with the net pay of 15 pounds.” I now understand why government records indicated that Mr MC Sata only went upto Standard 4 (which is equivalent to Grade 6). Sadly times have changed and I hope Mr MC Sata really has a Degree from a recognised university following the comments by PF’s Winter Kabimba including a Grade 12 Certificate or its equivalent which is a minimum requirement for MP according a new NCC clause since a Zambia President candidate must qualify to be MP.

  36. Never argue with a f.o.o.l because people may not notice the difference. Oh how true! I have no idea now who is who in the opposition.

  37. Following the Zambia Daily Mail Newspaper report, the UPND’s Chidyaka said “We are going to continue marketing Mr Hichilema as a presidential candidate for the 2011 general elections. The UPND will also declare its leader Mr Hichilema as a presidential candidate for the pact…. We are gunning for the elections in 2011 and as UPND, H.H will be the one we are going to declare as a presidential candidate. What Mr Sata is saying is just political propaganda meant to disguise the true presidential candidate for the pact“.

I hope PF members and sympathisers will accept Mr UPND president HH as PACT presidential candidate when the bitter truth according to the above statement shall be revealed.

    Be blest you all.

  38. Yaba…..HH eno wakakilwa iku lela, inokayi mudala kwambaula obuya. You are no longer a TONGA BULL musa you have trully become a Tonga Chicken, mapepe yalo ashala. Get yourself reorganised, and continue with policy driven campaign, not insults.

#42, you are right these two are killing themslevse politically, let them just reconcile and move on, HH extend the olive branch to your MP, there is still time

  39. No one has never made a mistake in life time,so whats up with the safety talk from HH to this man who at one time ate and shared jokes together with HH :((

  40. Can some confirm that HH never smiles??? How true is this? How does he motivate his followers? That could explain why he is full of insults.

  41. #46…You are spot on, when i first said HH was a tonga chicken, i was subjected to moderation by LT, am a southerner myself UPND was formed to give an alternative of zambia and a voice to southerners, remember Sata and MMD at the time had not respected zambia one, one nation teaching…

This chicken has just sold us out cheaply..to thugs

  42. Its a shame to see our up coming leaders reacting that way to genuine criticisms. a leader is suppose to be slow to anger. the truth hurts!! that very true. I had respect 4 HH and was thinking of giving him my vote in 2011 but now i really need to think twice!!!!! They say ‘if you are walking with a mad person and you start dancing to his tune, people will think that you are both mad!!!’ So that’s exactly the way our HH is behaving. So please, as the in coming president, ALWAYS WATCH YOUR MOUTH because it will haunt you in the near future!!!!:-?:-?

  43. Presidential language, presidential material. Yaba baby Sata! Elyo lwanya nomba, yangu ba president insele! On the other hand he is right about the UPND influence in NCC. But what does he really mean, that Sata’s boycott of NCC was ill advised political suicide? Come 2011 Zambia shall have “Pact” for president, not Sata or baby Sata!

  44. Lunatic sounds strong in english. But if you use it in vernacula its nomal. How many times have we said Lishilu, Wapulumuka, Chipuba. One things I have come to understand Maj Chizyuka is that he is true UPND member who feels injured by joining hands with PF. At the rate we are moving the utterances of PF leader is in Black & White that he is using UPND to win election which Maj is trying to depend a lone. We at grass root in leadership we have already seen how PF members have responded on the degree issue and yet a pact has another leader who qualify. Time will tell and we shall come to understand Maj.

  45. I DEGREE I NEEDED COZ ANY DEGREE WILL HAVE SUBJECTS LIKE PHYLOSOPHY AND SOCIALOGY EVEN MORE ..WE NEED EDUCATED PRESIDENTS..EDUCATION IS A KEY TO SUCCESS..THATS IT

  46. The best that Chizyuka can do to keep zee instaed of calling for the impeachment of HH. He started the battle and he lost it. Yest HH and his in circles may have sold the UPND to Sata’s PF but in a coalition there has to be some advantages and disadvantages just like in business mergers and take overs. The Pact is there to dislodge MMD from power. What wrong has Richard Chizyuka seen in the Pact? Even if voting came today PF and UPND going it alone each will not be able to defeat MMD.

  47. Those of you who are singing praises for RB have you forgotten how he called the oppositions vi masilu vioneni ivo during the Kasama by election. Timizi ba Movement for Mad Dogs (MMD) chiwamina galu!!!!!!

  48. #55 You are right, it was reported that RB used those words, however because RB insults that doesnt mean HH should, HH is from another generation, a new breed, a new hope, and what should have been a symbol of “change for Zambia”. From the blogg, you can see the majority are disappointed with him, because this is not the twenty first centuary leader we want for Zambia. We want politics driven by policy, not insults.

HH if you read this blog, CHANGE, you are going the wrong way, you may loose the little support you already have. You will not win over people in this manner.

  49. Chizyuka is finished! His current attitude is one of, ‘If i can’t have it, none of you will’. He is disgruntled and feeling the heat of the Pact. Just cross over ba Major. There is a vacancy ya Kande!

  50. I don’t believe that politicians insult at all. What do you think pipo mean when they say that politics is a dirty game? Its because of the same insult which is called political language. All of them have said wrong things. This is why a Pastor for example can never manage poilitcs, Its either they choose politics or ramian Pastor. Any one can ask comrad Nevers Mumba for confirmation.

So pliz let us just sit and watch the comedy as we wait for 2011.

  51. This Kamaguy (HH) has lost the plot. It is a pity that he has dented himself with vulgar language. All he does with that mouth (looks more like a fish’s mouth) of his is talk trash. He is no better that old and tired politicians like RB and Sata.:-?What do we expect of a chap who wants Plot one at all cost!!!!!

  52. Ba degree holder #62, your acronym does not make sense, thats why no one laughed with you. Firstly you can not rehabilitate a busturd, secondly if he was rehabilitated, then that would make him a good guy……so, the acronym lacks innovation, what has happened to you degree, you may want to rehabilitate it.

  53. HH should understand Chizyuka’s concerns rather than cut him short. Surely HH seems to be campaigning for Sata, using Sata’s Mind and Language. It appears HH has undergone an induction course in insultology as the preliquisite to be come a snake, most likely Cobra. The earlier HH leaves the Pact the better, as delay will be more costly. Unless he wants to hang arround and win other political parties into the pact as a strategy to enhance his votes for Presidency of the pact. However, whatever the strategy there will be losses to incur when Pact presidency is announced. For sure the delay works to the advantage of MMD as it will be the ultimate benefiting party.

  54. As at now it is Tactic vs Experience, strategy after another, game theory. Young Lion vs Wounded Male Bufalo, who gets which part and which vote. How and when? Vote sgotten now can be lost. But those gotten 2011 are more likely to be secured. The Namalwa is sounding, after which the Ndandala will spice as we get into 2011. RB is likely to intensify door to door campaigns, investment in Infrastructure in order to sharpen his penetration edge. Interesting indeed to watch the battle for hearts and votes as we count down to 2011.
