It will be a disaster to vote for Sata-Ben Mwila

Share

Ben Mwila (L)

Former Defense Minister Ben Mwila has alleged that allowing Patriotic Front President to become republican president will be allowing Zambia to experience civil war.

Mr Mwila who is also National Democratic Focus president alleges that Zambians will be making a grave mistake by voting for Mr Sata to be republican president saying he will be abrogating the constitution with impunity which is not in the best interest of the Zambian people.

He said Mr Sata is not fit to lead the country adding that he is only fit to lead Patriotic Front.

And United Party for National Development (UPND) President Hakainde Hichilema said today that the PF/UPND Pact will not be coerced into choosing its presidential candidate for 2011 elections.

Speaking this morning on JOY FM’s The Platform Programme, Mr Hichilema said the PF/UPND Pact has taken a decision not to preoccupy itself with the presidency at the moment.

He said what they are preoccupied with is ensuring that there is unity in the membership of the two political parties. He accused the MMD of trying to stir trouble in the UPND/PF Pact by suggesting that particular tribes have their preferred candidates for the Pact’s 2011 presidential candidate.

Mr Hichilema said the PF/UPND Pact has nothing to do with tribe as is being portrayed by the ruling party. He wondered why the MMD is concerned about the PACT’s presidential candidate when they have been spelling doom for the PACT.

Mr Hichilema said the MMD are irked because they know that the exit doors are widening and time is running out for them.

  3. Indeed with such wired way of perceiving the world economy just like sata showed his lack of information when he featured on the Voice of America,Sata should never be given any chance to rule this country.Even His fellow colleagues are able to advice the nation.
Sata would be a disaster to the nation

And if sata started studying for his degree in early or late 2006..(.the clause says 4years degree programme from a reputable vasity),,he should be completing in december this year or next year, assuming he was just passing through and through (did not fail one bit)..if there was any hiccups then he will only complete 2011 dec after the elections

  11. DON’T VOTE FOR SATA

    By Chanda Chisala, Zambia Online

Before the last elections (2001), I wrote and published an article on Zambia Online in which I predicted that the incumbent party’s candidate would win the elections.Obviously, the criticisms thereafter from PF cadres didn’t affect me at all and it turned out that I was quite accurately right in my analysis.

  12. I think that one also has a higher responsibility to help shape the future of one’s own country. The last thing I want is to see someone ruling this country who I completely disapprove of, but only to regret that I never did anything to stop that from happening. I will therefore do the little that I can to prevent a situation that I definitely would regret.

  13. So here I go: Whatever you do in these elections, do not vote for Michael Chilufya Sata. I know nothing about Ngondo, but I think he’s a joker. It is very unfortunate that this time around Sata is one of the three or two frontrunners, which is really ridiculous. I just can not understand how so many people in Zambia can forget in such a short time what this man is really about. He hides behind his jokes and blunt humour, but the man is a completely immoral and shameless opportunist who has no moral boundaries in his pursuit of whatever he wants. If he needs to tell you silly jokes to get your votes, he will. If he needs to hack you with a machete to prevent you from giving someone else your vote, he will.

  14. If he needs to hack you with a machete to prevent you from giving someone else your vote, he will. If he needs to start a tribal war in order to win elections – In 2006 before elections he made the unbelievable statement that the presidential race would be between the ‘Bantu Botatwe’ on one side (HH and Levy) and himself (Bemba-speaking) on the other side – he will.”This is exactly the kind of monster you do not want your children to grow up into, and it is certainly not the kind of man you want to take the position of the highest office in the land”.

  15. Michael Sata pretends to have some super-special answers for this nation that he kept secretly to himself all the time that he worked so obsequiously under the first two presidents of Zambia; and amazingly, people believe him! He claims that he could not implement his “great” ideas back then simply because he was not the one in power. This is the first sign of the man’s great dishonesty. It is one thing to work under another president who can not implement your ideas, but it is quite another thing to sing praises to what that president is doing, and saying it is the best for the country when you “know” it is not.

  16. Michael Sata used to praise Chiluba at every opportunity for what he was doing and even went as far as aggressively advocating a change of constitution to allow him a Third Term of office. If now he is saying he was actually against what Chiluba was doing, except that he could not be heard, then why was he praising him and why did he want him to continue on and on? So that he could continue doing the wrong things (including high taxation) that were making the people of Zambia (whom Sata loves so dearly) suffer so much?

  17. “Would a man who wants to deliver the people from suffering advocate the continuation in office of the man who is making them suffer? Unfortunately, some cadre in Zambia have the memory of a housefly: it lasts only a few seconds; and they will vote for him because they are unable to see beyond the range of the moment into the full context of the man’s fraud life and career”.

  18. The duplicity of Mr. Sata’s character appears even in his policies. He has this impossible mix of policies that can only deceive a person who is unable to think in integral wholes. Mr. Sata has on one hand, a policy of very low taxes (within 90 days) and on the other hand, another policy of improving the lives of the poorest people by building them modern houses, also within 90 days (besides giving jobs to all unemployed nurses and teachers, increasing the salaries of all teachers, policemen, students, etc). If you take these policies separately, they are technically possible and doable, but not if you try to integrate them.

  19. “Mr. Sata is relying on the failure of his cadres to think by integration, a mental weakness he also clearly exhibits. Just as he has seen that they cannot integrate his current moral claims with his past thuggish record in UNIP and MMD, he knows they won’t be too serious about integrating his economic policies either. Or maybe he sincerely believes in these ideas, which is even more frightening”.

  20. Why is it impossible to integrate his two wings of economic policy? Because they are mutually exclusive if you take them the way he is presenting them. Or to put it very simply, you can not have your cake and eat it. Any political party in the world that advocates lower taxes naturally also advocates less government expenditure (and size). You lower people’s taxes so that you can enable them to build their own houses from their higher savings – not so that you could build their houses! Mr. Sata is advocating both low taxation and high government spending, which can’t happen because government gets money from taxes.

  21. Sata’s answer to this dilemma is that the low taxes shall produce such a booming economy that he will be able to spend even more as he collects more taxes in total. In principle, it is true that low taxes should create a booming economy (as I’ve always advocated), but it is impossible to implement a policy of low taxation when one is promising to increase spending at the very same time. What would be possible is for one to suspend all these high social expenditures for a while as the low taxation policy leads to productive prosperity and budget surpluses: but there is always a time lag, and the time period is not 90 days or anything close to that.

  22. Sata, on the other hand, has this incredible dream that within 90 days, the tax reduction would attract such huge investments that he will still be able to collect enough money to engage in his socialist spending policies within that same period (he even explicitly calls himself a socialist and he has expressed his ardent admiration for Fidel Castro and – please hold your breath – yes, 1000-percent-inflation-man Robert Mugabe – himself!). Even if the man is sincere in ignorance, we must not endorse his sincere ignorance. It’s a tragedy when educated people use their minds to rationalize their support for such ignorance instead of simply calling a spade a spade.

  23. Its unfortunate that, even some very highly educated people like Dr. Guy Scott are lending credence to this nonsense; they have sold their souls to the devil himself just to have a last taste of some sweet power in their older years before they die.

  24. Guy Scott is even encouraging Sata’s ignorance on the issue of China. Recently, he reproduced an article in the Post (from an English writer) that discussed how China is supposedly destructive to African economies, to show that Michael Sata is not the only one with a skeptical attitude to China. The claims being made by Guy Scott and Sata on Chinese impact on Zambia’s economy (specifically) is steeped in either ignorance or intellectual dishonesty, or perhaps in a genuine disability to integrate facts – for which.Guy Scott (at least) should not be forgiven

  25. It would probably shock these two if I told them that China is affecting Zambia’s economy more positively than any other nation at the moment. And it would shock them even more if I told them that the little money that China has gained from investing in Zambia is just a small fraction of what Zambia has gained from China! But to realize this, you have to be able to integrate more than two things (in just a few logical steps), a skill which is apparently the mortal enemy of Mr. Michael Sata’s mind as we have already seen.

  26. China’s recent ambitious drive to build its industrial and economic infrastructure has led it to make a huge demand for certain minerals that it doesn’t produce, one of them being copper. That’s step one. Step two is that Zambia produces a lot of copper which it sells through the London Metal Exchange and which still drives its economy. The high demand for copper by China is what has made copper reach the highest prices in the commodity’s history in recent months. The rest is easy: this high price largely explains how the Zambian Kwacha appreciated by such a high margin against the dollar over the last year.

  27. Facts are facts. The impact of the Chinese economy on the Zambian economy is therefore very explosive and it is projected to continue for a very long time to come, way beyond our next president’s term of office, whoever that might be. In the globalised economy, you do not calculate the impact of another country’s economy on yours by simply looking at one little factor and ending there. You might just bite the finger that’s (literally) feeding you!

  28. Mr. Michael Sata is indeed zealous player, as he has already proved, but the presidency also requires (imperatively) that one be a thinker, even minimally.

    DON’T VOTE FOR SATA

    By Chanda Chisala, Zambia Online

  29. Politically speaking, the main threat to Sata is that the PACT will disintegrate at the choice of who to stand for presidency ie HH or Sata. These guys have staunch followers who wont give in to the other. That’s why they avoid the issue, but at some point they will have to deal with it. This is their weakest point. Unless teh Pact survives that one, PF or UPND will not get enough votes individually.

  30. Bushe ubupuba ni inheritance or people just develop it? This Repeat guy, this is the same nonsense he/she posted last time on this blog. Bushe ama Zambians tukakula lisa?

Ba BY, with due respect, I feel you are feeling jealousy for Sata. He has accomplished what you will never do as a politician. Your party is in your house and probably with less than 1000 members, most of them catching fish at Lake Mweru, hence their failure to understand the reasons they voted for you.

  31. Pact not people driven-Chief Mukuni

SENIOR Chief Mukuni has said the Patriotic Front (PF)-United Party for National Development (UPND) Pact is driven by the leaders and has no support from the followers.
Describing the pact as a leader-driven arrangement that has no support of the followers, Chief Mukuni said it was the two leaders who seemed to understand it better.
And the chief has said it is surprising that PF leader Michael Sata who initially denied members of Parliament (MPs) from the party the opportunity to participate in the Constitution-making process is today agitating for the 50 per cent plus one clause.

  32. Benjamin “Nashala Neka” Mwila, you are a finished, visionless, unprincipled, and above all, selfish politician.

  33. Speaking in an interview yesterday, Chief Mukuni of the Toka-Leya people of Kazungula District in Southern Province said the PF-UPND Pact to him seemed to be a leader-driven one rather than follower-driven.
“For me the pact is leader-driven and not by followers. It is the two leaders who understand it better,” he said.
He said at present it was not even clear to the followers of the two political parties as to who between Mr Sata and UPND president Hakainde Hichilema was going to be the presidential candidate in the 2011 general elections

  34. On Mr Sata’s remarks on the 50 per cent plus one vote clause during the on-going Constitution-making process, Chief Mukuni said it was shocking that the PF leader was now making noise from outside the conference instead of having allowed his MPs to take part.
He said Mr Sata was being inconsistent in the manner he was dealing with national issues.
“It is a bit surprising that Mr Sata is now interested in the 50 per cent plus one vote clause when he does not want his MPs to be part of the process but he now wants the product of the National Constitutional Conference,” he said.

  35. He said the best thing the opposition leader should have done was to allow his MPs to be part of the Constitution-making process.
And the traditional ruler has said there is no need to rush the Constitution-making process just for the sake of the 2011 general elections.
Chief Mukuni said formulation of the new Republican Constitution should not target the 2011 general elections but aim at coming up with the Constitution that would stand the test of time.
“The Constitution should be for the next generation and not just to target 2011 and certain individuals. If anything, the process should not be rushed,” he said.
Chief Mukuni said Zambia should emulate South Africa and Tanzania which took time to come up with good constitutions.

  36. So BY is spending sleepless nights. What are you afraid of? Surely there must be something you did that makes you so scared of Mr.Sata/HH.Let the people elect theire own leader to rule them. You have a party as well so, why can’t you stand against him? The people will vote for a president of their choice.Finshi mwachita?

  37. The pact biggest weakness is the fact that they are taking their supporters for granted. If Sata is going to be their candidate (assuming he indeed has two degrees), imagine what an easy task it will be for MMD to paint him as a tribalist thug in Western, North-Western and Southern Provinces? Conversely will Sata power base in CB, Lusaka and Northern provinces accept HH as their leader? The elections are 21 months away, is the pact strong enough to to hold until then?

  38. Animal Nyamazai,
You wrote Conversely will Sata power base in CB, Lusaka and Northern provinces accept HH as their leader? The elections are 21 months away, is the pact strong enough to to hold until then?

Well the so called PACT is just in the mouth of online trolls, embattled Mmembe’s Editorials and HakaSata mouth only.Tell me when you heard these mentioned visited Zambian voters in all the 150 constituencies around the country for consensus building? They are too busy insulting in Lusaka for a tabloid editorial.Do a grass work research you will be shocked that don’t even have political structures or identity to build momentum on around the country. When did you hear Sata is touring NW, Southern, Western, Lusaka rural, Luapula, Northern,Cental or Eastern provinces?

  39. The electoral alliance between the Patriotic Front (PF) and the United Party for National Development (UPND) announced on 4th June 2009 is now over 6 months. Against all odds this marriage of convenience founded on sandy foundations seems to be fragilely holding and is toasting its 8months of existence on February 4th, 2010.
The PF and its leader Michael Sata are known to be driven by popular politics but are weak in ideology and policy. Sata’s media presence is characterised by his numerous responses to the day to day agenda set mostly by The Post. He usually makes running commentaries as issues evolve on its pages which constitute his bulk of politics.

  40. At rallies, he refers to the PF’s only known policies of ‘’ lower taxes and more money in your pockets’’. His many speeches are formed by his criticisms of government and what it is he thinks its leaders are doing wrong.

Sata and his party are different from the UPND. The UPND under the late Anderson Kambela Mazoka presented itself as a party that would dwell on policy changes and promoting a development focused agenda. Mazoka attempted to abandon the culture of insults that had invaded political debates after the dawn of multi-partism. The UPND was founded as a social democratic party.

  41. Under Mazoka, the UPND became a platform for discussion of policies and national issues. The UPND even used to present a parallel national budget! This enforced the perception that Mazoka ran a shadow government with a skilled and competent team forming the core of his management committee!
But when Hakainde Hichilema took over, the UPND turned into a sad state of affairs with the party losing key members such as Sakwiba Sikota, Bob Sichinga, Patrick Chisanga, Given Lubinda and others.
The UPND also suffered a fatal blow when Sakwiba Sikota formed a breakaway from the party- the United Liberal Party (ULP).

  42. At this stage, the UPND lost key members especially those that hailed from Western Province such as Francis Simenda, Inonge Wina, Gladys Habulembe, Venus Kalimina, Kalumyana Simasiku, and Makumba Makumba.
The party also lost its vibrancy when youthful and militant members were frustrated out of the party. The party lost Frank Tayali, Kelvin Ndila, Ngande Mwanajiti, Amos Nakalonga, Douglas Shingandu and Edwin Simusamba.
Hakainde’s attempt to stamp his authority as new leader on the party, using authoritarian methods was disastrous. He continued to lose senior members such as Tiyens Kahenya and Patrick Chisanga. He recently expelled a member many feel he cannot afford to lose in Major Robby Chizyuka describing him as a ‘plant from the MMD!’

  43. Chisanga and Kahenya were special members of the UPND as they were the link between UPND and Liberal Democrat Party of UK and Liberal International
The UPND has since lost its financial and policy support from the party which views the leadership of Hichilema as steering the UPND away from the principles that allowed the mutual relationship to exist.
The UPND has also lost its international affiliation with Liberal International, an association of liberal democratic parties.

  44. The Executive Committee of the Liberal International recently recommended for the disaffiliation of the UPND from the Liberal International through its 2009 Congress held in Cairo, Egypt.
In his letter to the UPND, Emil Kirjas from Liberal International secretariat in UK, informed the UPND that after numerous reminders to the party for it to pay affiliation fees (USD900 per year) for more than two years, ‘’ the Secretariat had no choice but to disaffiliate the UPND which was a great loss to the Liberal International (LI) and its disaffiliation from the world-wide Liberal family was very regrettable.’’

  45. How could a party ran by a self professed millionaire fail to pay subscription fees which are as low as USD900.00?! And this was missed for more than two years!
Clearly HH has diminished the standing and influence of the UPND in the country.
After the 2006 General Elections, the UPND under Hichilema lost Lusaka, North-Western and Western Province to the MMD and the PF, consigning its influence to Southern Province.
After the 2006 Elections, the UPND had its parliamentary presence reduced to 22 MPs from 47 MPs. The PF increased its presence from 2 MPs to 43 MPs.

  46. The UPND was a shell and a shadow of its former self by 2008. Hichilema made attempts to rejuvenate the party and embarked upon a membership renewal and recruitment.
However against all advice, HH proceeded to participate in the 2008 Presidential By – Elections. Many had advised that the PF was a stronger party and Sata stood a better chance of winning the elections. Hichilema was encouraged to form an electoral pact with the PF. He snubbed it.
After two crushing defeats, in 2006 and 2008, HH has come to the inevitable conclusion that he and the UPND cannot win the national election alone – a call many citizens had made since 2001.

  47. Sata, who appears content to exist even without the electoral alliance, has welcomed the UPND to his fold, treating it as his mere appendage that gives him the necessary and natural advantage he needs to deliver a convincing electoral victory against the MMD.

  48. How can a president (National Democratic Focus president,BY) be an MP? F*ck that BY.F*ck all yah dubious money,F*ck yah cracked brain,F*ck yah in advance to whatever yah will say in future.Yah better concentrate on yah rural constituency.Leave the venom Kobra swallow the remainin frogs. peace.

  49. Stupid!

  50. The so call pact will collapse under the weight of Sata’s and Hichilema’s presidential ambitions and disjoint foreign power allegiance. Certainly this is not the wishful thinking of the ruling MMD winning Grand strategy.
Of course the pact has numerous weaknesses and its foundation is weak. It’s not driven by ideology. It has not been sustained by any policy direction. It is held together by a thin thread that cosmetically binds together the two embattled power chasing losers by their hope that they will surely wrestle power from the MMD through insults! In the process, something must give away.

  51. Indisputably it’s Hakainde’s image that has been sacrificed. HH as Hichilema is popularly known has shed his smooth and soft image for a thuggish and militant image.
The tabloid continues to picture HH in unflattering circumstances while Sata is portrayed as a popular statesman (addressing large crowds, greeting children, or conducting a ‘tour’ with a horde of foreign journalists in tow).
The tabloid has covered political developments in the PF with interest such events are trumpeted with a verve that attempts to shows that the PF as a single party continues to grow.

  52. When HH visited Western Province and held a mammoth rally, this success was not recorded in The tabloid.
HH announced that the UPND party had returned to the fold former member Francis Simenda. HH further announced that the party had adopted simenda as Vice-President (joining Richard Kapita, and the current vacant position usually held by a woman/Northerner). The move was designed to satisfy demands (on the MMD) by key persons in western province that it needed its leaders to participate at higher levels such as Vice-President.
The appointment of Simenda as party Vice-President was met with silence from The tabloid even when it counted more for UPND.

  53. Yet the PF’s announcement that it had adopted former Nalolo Member of Parliament, Inonge Wina as its National Chairman was graced with a loud and bold lead story in the tabloid.
Clearly, the significance of Wina who comes from Western Province where PF is weak joining it brings political confusion. The Pact is based on the understanding that the individual parties would strengthen their strongholds and rely upon each other where the other is weak. The UPND has been courting and pursuing Inonge Wina for a while and her refusal to rejoin the party she helped found speaks volume of strange activities happening in the background.

  54. Please dont waste your time talking about sata.Sata is onother Idi Amin of Uganda. He is not a person to be voted as president he is supported by few tribesmen from Mpika only

  55. The PF is supposed to consolidate its hold in Northern, Luapula and Copperbelt provinces he gained on the back of Chiluba. He rode on the cases that Mwanawasa was persecuting Bembas and him was going to drop all Chiluba cases by Presidential decree within 48 hours of ascending to power. But now served by a fair independent justice system, Chiluba is deflating the Tyre he pumped himself and PF is panicking. In delusion the UPND is supposed to build its strength in Southern, Western and North-Western provinces.
Sata celebrated Wina’s gender and her political strength stating that:
‘’Wina had been a good mobiliser in the UPND where she served between 2001 and 2006.Our members have informed us that Wina was instrumental in campaigning for me in Western Province’’. The Post (8th…

  56. Some media houses continue to promote Sata as leader of the Pact while HH is presented as a mere potential successor. HH was supposed to compliment Sata by providing a credible team that might help form government if the Pact was to win the election.
However HH in the current state of the UPND, is no different in leadership capacity from Sata who is surrounded by the likes of Willie Nsanda, GB Mwamba, Given Lubinda and Guy Scot. The UPND has lost key persons to the extent that it cannot bring to the table a dignified team that can help form government. The PF is worse!
Some media is attempting to transform Sata by portraying him as a strong but principled leader.

  57. HH is facing an internal revolt as many senior members are at a loss of how to treat Michael Sata. They wonder if the electorate will accept their new turn around!
Others are so fearful of the Pact floating Sata as a presidential candidate that they predict that the UPND would lose the voters in Southern Province to the MMD.
Further the position of Southern Province Chiefs on the Pact is a dangerous factor to its survival. The Chiefs have promised to support the Pact only if HH is allowed to be the Pact’s presidential candidate!

  58. BY has been frustrated after lamantably losing 2001 presidential elections which he campaigned so ambitiously and spent alot of money on it. Anyway Zambians know him very well he is a social disgrace to zambian society, from the time he involved himself in stealing government properties and dubious aquirements of fire arms when he was defence minister, which almost cost the lives of peaceful zambians. On political scene BY can not overstand Sata’s political wave.

  59. However in the event that Sata is made as the Presidential Candidate, the Chiefs have threatened to shift their support to the MMD as memories of the North – South Alliance are still fresh where Harry Mwaanga Nkumbula (a Southerner)was persuaded to support the Presidency of Kenneth Kaunda (a Northerner) in 1964 and in 1973. They Chiefs insist that the Pact presents an opportunity for Bembas to return the favour and allow them to provide Zambia with a Tonga Presidency!

  60. And Chief Mwanachingwala of the Tonga people in Mazabuka has denounced Mr Hichilema for allegedly lying to the people of Southern Province that he was going to contest the presidential elections in 2011.

The chief said all the people of Southern Province know that Mr Hichilema is going to lead the UPND/PF pact in 2011.

Chief Mwanachingwala challenged Mr Hichilema to announce his position on the matter now that Mr Sata declared his intentions of standing in the 2011 elections.

  61. The chief said Mr Hichilema must tell the people of Southern Province the truth about his ambitions.
Chief Mwanachingwala accused Mr Hichilema of having indirectly sold the people of Southern Province to the PF through the pact.

“What we all knew here in Southern Province was that Mr Hichilema was going to lead the pact. Now that Mr Sata has declared himself presidential candidate, Mr Hichilema must have read and heard, he must tell us the truth because he told us that he was going to be the one. When I spoke with you last time, they called me names,” Chief Mwanachingwala said.

  62. The traditional leader revealed that soon after predicting the collapse of the PF/UPND Pact, Mr Sata called him to complain about the story.

“After you spoke to me, Mr Sata called me and read the whole story to me. I did not dispute anything but I asked Mr Sata what his motive of forming the pact was,” he said.

  63. #12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 10 – – -30- Repeat you are very correct and so deep in your submittion.I agree with you in total. Lets sort these charps out otherwise they are capable of distroying all what God has bestored on Zambia.
BY is correct, why is it that all those who worked with SATA are saying he is not Presidential Material i.e KK worked with the Serpent for about 27yrs, Chiluba for 10yrs, RB for 27 yrs they have all said no. FTJ was so close to this Man even at the last hour when everyboby prominent in MMD had been chassed GOD directed FTJ to woke up Levy from both his sleep and retirement to come and rule Zambia. Lets be serious Zambians, Sata whatever it is should not be allowed. We are ready and we will stand firm for the country The Zambians will vote ViVa Luapula vote !!!

  64. BY must shut up! After all he doesn’t haven’t have a degree!! Go earn one mother f****** then come back and talk sense!

  65. #74 Ba Mwinemushi, yah right dude, the damn shit is scared of suckin KING Kobra’s shit in 2011..Let the mathaf**cker shut his ass.*******F**ck!

  66. LT you are disgraceful! You mean you ae incapable of even the simplest of tasks? Like correctly identifying the people you are writing about in your reports? Who is who in your picture above? How does Miyanda get to be identified (and incorrectly) as being on the “L”? Who is on the “R” in your opinion? Shameful.

  67. THERE ARE SO MANY PEOPLE WHO ARE SCARED OF SATA. ON THE LIST ARE FTJ, BY, RB, G KUNDA. IN SHORT ALL THE THIEVES. ITS HIGH TIME PRISONS ARE EXPANDED TO ACCOMMODATE THESE POTENTIAL IN-MATES. YOUR CHRISMAS IS COMING TO AN END IN A DRAMA YOU THIEVES.

  68. I do not like Mwila but on this score he is very right. All those who have worked with Michael Chilufya Mulenga Zondwe-Sata will attest to the fact that the man is clearly senile. He was discharged from the Northern Rhodesi Police because of mental instability, a vice that still bedevils the matter inside of his skull today. A mere glance at his face will tell you the man is cuckoo. Anyway, maybe Zambia is just too artificial as evident from the bizarre boundary enclosing some of the most strange tribes together as one. He might be the catalyst we need to free us from this clearly failed marriage of convenience. Some can go to join Blantyre, others can leg it to Katanga to join their pygmy brothers while others can cross the Zambezi and fry in Bob’s purgatory. Zambia washala washala.

  69. REAPET, you seem to spend a lifetime discussing Sata here. I won’t tell you whether this is good or bad. What is applaing is that your data is kind of speculative. Inspire me with your prefered candidate. Don’t talk sheet here pliz!

  70. # 10 you need to live in forgiveness. Jesus did not come to destroy lives but to save them. As christians we need to show the fruit of the spirit and respect other people. Jesus said bless those who persecute you and do not curse. You need to pray that God blesses Mr Sata and Mr HH .Yes Zambia is a christian nation and we need to show fruit for that. It is not God’s will that Zambians suffer injustices, lack basic necessities etc. I encourage you to start using your talents, gifts, knowledge to change Zambia for the better through the grace of God. God bless you,

  71. BY should be scared of something he is hiding.no hard feelings BY,we are sailing smoothly this time as a pact.i hope no rigging will take place this time coz iyi yena tukawina.
it’s high time we changed governments.**==%%-

  72. The analyses on this blog leaves much to be desired.Zedians, lets have clear and solid basis for saying certain things. What is it in Sata that would cause a civil war-is it his facial features, agressivenes or whatever.Clearly, therez no link between Zambia as a christion nation and Sata.God in his divine nature sends rains and true to his love, that rain falls on the roofs of witches, thieves and murderers. Before God,we no better than the other except for the fact that,we’ve all fallen short of his glory.
Sata is the leading opposition leader in Zambia, like him or hate him, this is a fact as seen from the election figures of 2006 and 2008.Lets argue based on facts not emotions. For a fact Bembas don’t hail by origin from C/belt or Lusaka, yet Sata has clearly marshalled massive support here.

  73. Chanda Chisala, your late Mum was a minister in MMD,so i tend to find your analyses on Sata personal and biased. Also,as a BA,a pente you tend to think that the declaration of Zambia as a christian nation is a preserve of the pentez as it were compared to say the catholics which denomination Sata is a member.Remember, you Zedians,Sata lost to RB by 30,000 votes yet you say PF is not demorgraphically represented.Someone tell this 30,000 difference makes RB or MMD nationally represented, then i will say,you fellas are living in kookoo land.Tell me,what war or violence has Sata caused upon MMD rigging,Zero!! and you say the man will cause war-NONSENSE!!!!!

  74. AMEN! #6 THATS WHY WE SHALL VOTE FOR THE PACT. WHO IS BY WHO HAS REDUCED HIMSELF FROM BEIBG A PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE TO AN MP SHAME ON HIM!

  75. why do you like talking no sence on sata we need chage let him stand we need change thing can change for better. in MMD it like al members are thieves.

  76. I can’t believe the former mogul BY (as they called him then) would cast the first stroke in Sata’s eye when he himself is at the helm of trying to be the President of the Republic of Zambia! He has woken from his slumber- he is really using his parliamentary allowances well at least he is not on benefits like his tribesman and former well known surveyor and former Lusaka Minister!
BY when do you start campaigning! We are looking forward to your campaign strategy.

  77. If Chiluba, Mwila are thieves then Sata must be a thief also for he was one with them both. If Sata is so clean why did he want us to endure another term of Chiluba so vociferously? Why did he say that he would free him by decree in 2006? You cant have it both ways. You can not criticisize Chiluba and his bulululus from Luapula and somehow let Sata go scot free as he was part and parcel of the Chiluba regime that was supposedly so bad for the country. So why go there again?

  78. politicians in zambia disgust me. i think its true valilwalwa ama aids vonse fye. nd its affecting their brains

  79. Repeat, you have said it so well, i like zambians that do not forget, Repeat, pliiiz repeat other data that others might have forgeten, Sata is finished, i dont have to hear from God to say that!

  80. Patriot !!!!! What ever your name is.. don’t come on here and start trying to give us fake lessons/facts. you and your mmD DOGS are going!! wait for Katele and Magende to join us and then you will notice the sinking ship(mmD)

  81. Fellow Zambians, don’t you think it’s very easy for BY to join PF/UPND pact to safeguard whatever ills he could have done? Think carefully is Sata really an appropriate Zambian to lead us? I hope they select HH or otherwise RB is more appropriate than Sata or totally a different person.

  82. Mr tembo didnt you feel nervous when you mentioned the ship? sinking?
PF chaps, why do you seem to be excited that Sata is scary, I thought thats a negative for him.

  83. As a person leading a party , BY Mwila should market his strengths. Sata is very hard working and smart politician. BY Mwila and his friends were ululating at the degree clause thinking they had fixed Sata and yet they had fixed themselves. Evil minded people are never smart. Ba Mwila let the people of Zambia decide whether Sata should be President or not.

  84. ### 104.. we (I) know who pays your salary. what wars has Sata started?? you scared of the pact because you know that once we in power the poshy living in these shores will be over? Back to Zambia…. scary, is it????????

  85. I say it again and again. RB is goin to win the elections. And he will be the best president that Zambia will ever have. This man is what this nation needs to be a great country. SATA let ur children or somebody younger take over ur party. ITS A DONE DEAL FOR U, U WILL ONLY BE KNOWN AS THE GREATEST OPPOSITION LEADER AND NOT ZAMBIAS BEST PRESIDENT. I am not scared or neither intimidated by the PF supporters on this blog. U know why……………… Cos none of u ****ERS can vote anyways……… Moreover Zambia is a free and democratic Nation. SO ONCE AGAIN VIVA RB, DESPITE THE HATERS MANY PEEPS ARE BEHIND U DUDE.

  86. if chiluba cn b tkn 2 court,whos sata.
THAT SHOWS TO SAY SATA IS 100% CLEAN.
PROOF TO THAT HE STOR EN TK HIM 2 COURT.
MIND U MWANAWASA TRIED EN FAILD

  87. Zambians needs a President who has a heart for the majority. Repeat, when you look at ur RB the man up to now is sleeping. He has no idea whatsoever on the governance of the country. This is the reason why he is all over the world like a tourist. This is the more reason why the red lipped snake now feels he is incharge of this country. Have you read the memo he wrote to cabinet to ask them to increase the allowances for those fools sitting in the useless NCC. And surely can you tell me Repeat, as you call urself, what is there for any one to vote for thieves. Shame on you! You cant have a president who is married to an under age chap. How can you have a wife 50 yrs younger than you? Is there any sense in your president? I leave it to you to judge.

  88. ZAMBIA IS THE ONLY COUNTRY IN THE WORLD WHERE THIEVES ADVICE THE INNOCENT ON HOW TO STEAL FREELY. B.Y. IS A THIEF, WHEN HE WAS DEFENCE MINISTER THEY POCKETED WITH FTJ $20m DOLLARS PURPOTING TO HAVE BOUGHT ARMS, THE ARMS UP TO NOW NEVER ARRIVED IN ZAMBIA.THEY STOLE THE MONEY & AS USUAL COLLECTIVELY WE THE ZAMBIANS ARE QUITE. B.Y WANTED TO SAVE REGINA CHILUBA ATI I LENT HER THE MONEY SHE BOUGHT PROPERTIES IN KITWE AFTER IT WAS ESTABLISHED SHE USED PLUNDERED MONEY TO BUY THE PROPERTIES IN QUESTION. FOSEKI CHI B.Y KEEP QUITE JAIL AWAITS U 2011. B.Y SAYS CHILUBA MWIPWA, ATASE THEY BOTH FROM DRC, B.Y’s OTHER NAME IS KANTU.

  89. #113 – you right, my boy. Tell them. Bulela, wena! We’ve had enough of these two Zairean thieves messing us up.

  90. BY ! just go back to sleep you have never been a factor in zambian politics, you are finished mudala if you ever existed that is.
