Veep Kunda calls Sata senseless, urges HH to leave Pact

Share

Vice President George Kunda

Vice President George Kunda has urged United Party for National Development UPND President Hakainde Hichiliema to consider abandoning the PF/UPND Pact because of PF leaders’ incessant attacks on UPND Members of Parliament.

The vice president has also urged other PF/UPND members who were not happy with the happenings in the opposition pact to join the rulling MMD.

Mr. Kunda was speaking in Livingstone yesterday when he addressed people who welcomed him at Livingstone International Airport. He wondered why Mr Hichilema had remained in the pact following the attacks on his MPs by the PF leader recently.

Mr. Michael Sata was recently quoted as saying that UPND MPs attending the National Constitutional Conference were part of plunderers of public funds.

Mr. Kunda described Mr Sata as a sadist, senseless person who has lost direction on the country’s political arena.

He said that the opposition political parties had nothing to attack government for and had in turn resorted to attacking each other.

Mr. Kunda said that Mr. Sata is very scared of UPND MPs because they are more intellectually advanced than he is.

“Sata cannot match with the UPND MPs that are part of the NCC participants because of their intellectual capacity, that is why he and some of his PF MPs have stayed away,” he said.

He said there was decency in the NCC because if this was not so, the conference was not going to entice Mr Hichilema to go there and witness part of the voting sessions at the NCC.

“Mr.Sata has lost direction. He is senseless. We even wonder why HH is still in the pact and why he is not defending his MPs that Sata is busy attacking,” Mr. Kunda said.

He said Sata was a sadist who did deserve any vote from the electorates and urged those in the PF/UPND Pact to consider joining the MMD party holds the future of the country’s development.

The vice president was in Livingstone to officially open the Mining Congress at the Sun Hotels.

He was accompanied by Gender Minister, Sara Sayifwanda, Mines Minister, Maxwell Mwale, Deputy Energy Minister Lubinda Imasiku, Deputy Labour Minister, Kachimba, and MMD Deputy National Secretary Chembe Nyangu.

  2. The HIV effect on the brain with the passage of time is really debilitating.
One wonders if Veep Kunda’s brain is fit enough to withstand the effects of being in his position.

  3. I concur with His honor the Zambian Vice President George Kunda, Sata who just last week called an accomplished VP, attorney at law, Attorney General and best ever Justice minister a rabid dog.Nowhere in the world has an aspiring Presidential candidate with the battle of selling himself to voters can call a seating VP a rabid dog.Its only a senseless chap without direction of where he foresees himself to be at the end of his fantasy crusade.

  4. numbala 3 ni apopene. ok but kunda wot has this got to do with you. i think kunda envies the pact. its just hard for him to get an excuse to leave mmd. the thinking of gangbangers is really strange. mr kunda you are much more intelligent than these trivial politics you have started. really saddening.

  6. OK, so the campaign is now getting personal? This is a typical reaction of a politician who is sweating and panicking at the sight of his challengers. If he had nothing to worry about, he would confidently thwart his opponents with a sovereign statement and a sense of humour.

  7. SATA IS A FAILURE- SHIKAPWASHA

Chief Government Spokesperson Ronnie Shikapwasha has charged that Patriotic Front Leader Michael Sata is a failure only skilld in dispensing insults who has failed to run Patriotic Front dominated councils in the country.

Lt Gen Shikapwasha says Patriotic Front led councils including Lusaka and those on the Copperbelt have failed to bring any tangible development as all members are busy rehearsing insults with Sata.

  8. He bemoans that the roads have remained in a deplorable state while the drainages have not been worked on.

Lt Gen Shikapwasha says despite government pumping huge amounts of money for development in Lusaka City Council, Mr.Sata and his councilors have failed to implement developmental projects.

The Chief Government spokesperson wonders how Mr Sata and his party will be able to develop Zambia if elected into government when they are failing to develop areas where they are running councils.

  9. He has since warned Zambians against voting for the PF leader in the 2011 presidential election because he will only reverse all the gains that Zambia has scored in the recent years.

  10. PATRIOT did you learn about metaphors at school? So if i call you a r.a.b.b.i.d d.o.g right now it’s because you’re behaving like one probably you were bitten by a diseased canine at some point in life but the fact is you’re still a human being. Does that make sense to you sir?

  11. Ba patriot senseless like the one in the picture in the story above.

What has Kunda got to do with the pact? I like his sense of “concern”! hahahahaha=))

In the picture above he looks like one who’s really under pressure. Uluse!

  12. I agree with Kunda on this one. Logic thinking sometimes can not been seen even when the writings is on the wall that the pact will not stand the presure which the two leaders will cause due to their lust for power.

  13. Kunda is panic, he knows there is nothing good for him to come that’s why is putting his nose in the pact. Mind you Kunda it will be officialy launched and what you gona about it

  14. Obviously our friends who support the “pact” need some help perhaps with psychological counselling. Guys what can we do to help our beloved compatriots come back to their senses?

  15. This is not a sensible blog. Its full of spam. This is not the sourcer. The fact is that, our Vp lacks all the qualities of one. Gud in twistng issues in the courts to favour wealthy culprits but poor at politics. I see alot of potential goin to waste behind the english phrase, voter aparthy b’coz it seems the arena is truly a circus wit clowns havn a go at the slightest opp’tnty. Our governance system is terribly compromis’d. Sata thinks his bar counter humour or him being a catholic strategic point man- in under mining policies o f maintaing the middle class-wil win him votes’ sadly not mine nöt many. Big NO! He is useless n lacks indepth wits to understand discrete social-Economic problems . I hate jokes wen the current situ in the country calls for seriousness to address failings in…

  16. Patriot! To answer you from your passage, its like you dont know what you are talking about. Some of we write the way we do for the love of our mother Zambia. The person you are supporting is not worthy to be a VP. We have had VPs in Zambia before but the current one is the worst of them all. The guy cant express himself and you call a VP. Guys you should feel ashamed of yourselves. His tactic cant work in modern politics. He is a shameless liar.

  17. :-w WE WRITERS WE SHOUDNT TARGET ON UPND/PACT. WHY? NOT EVEN (BY) CAN SAY ON OUR PACT, LET US HERE FROM EACH CADIDENT WHAT HE OR HER WILL DO FOR THIS COUNTRY EXPECILY FOR US YOUTHS. TARGETING BA (SATA OR HH) WILL WONT HELP ANY ONE.

  18. BLOGGERS…You cant compare the political capabilities of SATA and kunda. Sata is highly respected by international community and diplomats. No wonder they call him even when is not in gvt. Kunda is day dreaming coz he knos his days are numbered. MMD KUYA BEBELE!! TULEVOTA WA UMFWA…WE ARE VOTING THEM OUCHI…DONCHI KUBEBA
