Zanaco Lose 1-0 to URA

Share

Zanaco have some work to do in the return leg of their CAF Champions League preliminary round match after losing away to Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) in Kampala today.

URA beat Zanaco 1-0 through a late goal in the second half to leave the latter with some work cut out for them in the return leg to be played in a fortnights time in Lusaka on February 27.

The win was URA’s first over Zambian opponent after losing to Zesco United 2-0 in 2008 in the preliminary stage of the same competition.

  1. What!!!!! oh no zanaco! what happened? N-way come sunset stadium zanaco ‘ll carry the day & proceed to the next stage. GO ZANACO GO!!!!

  2. this is not good for zanaco considering that they always strugle to score at home, they were suppose to kill off the game just there in uganda, any way all the best

  3. Country men, ZANACO peformance in the Continental Championship is pathetic. They have lost over 90% of their away games even to teams that are very weak. Instead of playing soccer, they were busy admiring the stadium. Atase, how can we be patriotic and support them when they have ben getting out always in 1st round apart from once in second round. Pathetic record. As usual bankers make bad poor role models of personal financial management. They are just good at advice. here it is, ZANACO pretenders in Zambia but chancers outside. ZESCO at least tried.

  4. Zambian players should UP their game and die a little for our country. Our Flag mean a lot to most of us. Look at Rainfold Kalaba, he is busy in Ndola partying instead of going to Zamalek where he has been loaned. This destroys the chance of other Zambians being picked, Mbesuma in Portugal misbehaved as well. They will never take our footballers serious. Now ZANACO failed to shine, fialed to score??? Lol. How can we be spotted??
