Faz Says Sorry For London Fiasco

Share

Faz has apologized for the London fiasco.

Faz president made the announcement at the Wednesday press briefing at Football House in Lusaka.

“As FAZ, we take full responsibility for what happened…if there were any inadequacies they were addressed properly and quietly,” Kalusha said.

“We wish to apologize to the National Sports Council (NSCZ) and we will further apologize to the nation through the media.”

On August 12 last year, Zambia played Ghana in a friendly at Brisbane Road but struggled to raise a team after Faz failed to secure visas for 10 players.

This forced Faz to scale England at the last minute and drafted three UK-based part-timers to play in the match.

Zambia lost that match 4-1.

  2. Please fellow zambians, there are issues we can talk about, if you have nothing to do or say, just read lusakatimes and forget, do not write or bring things that you for sure know that it is carring no meaning just for the seek of writing. Go waste your time some where#i1and #2. Every time you write, you always write nosense. No wonder you have such a name.

  7. Gentlemen, let us discuss the topic. Also, it’s good to respect house rules by LT on language. We owe it to ourselves. They told us we are the future leaders of Zambia, lets show it by our conversations that we have what it takes.

Back to the topic, isnt it a bit too late for FAZ to come out with this statement on London. I thought they discussed it soon after the even and decided to blame no one. At the moment, it would be hepful for FAZ to discuss the recent ACN in Angola and how they intend to take Zambia further than Qtr finals. We want to hear about the future of Zambian football, stadium and facilities, finance, club football, coaches, etc. London came way before ACN. FAZ should be a little bit ashamed of themselves.

  8. #10 Words and sentences that other people find offensive, or something you wouldnt say in front of parents etc. I am sure you know what offends people or not. It’s really for the sake of maintaining the peace in society. The moment you start offending people e.g by use of insults etc, emotions rise. Such things lead to fights and all kinds of conflicts, disturbing the peace of the community.

Some people are so far gone that they dont realise they are saying things offensive to other people. But when offended people ask to be excused, it is wise to heed for the sake of peace.

I am sure you are a good man just trying to have a good time on the blog. Some people will benefit a lot from your wisdom and goodness in you. You are a good & wise man. Smile. Good night.

  9. number 6 its a good thing you have decided that way. the last person to argue with me lets just say he will never blogg again for the next 6 months. so wise decision. ahhh the joys of freedom of speech. deunces mune:)>-

  10. why dwell in the past? the future is where we should be going. a 6 months late apology is not gonna bring the tax payers money back. this apology is meaning less and it can be seen that it was induced and was not voluntary which defeats the whole purpose. NSCZ what next?

  11. number 11 i am a parent so there is nothing i cannot say in front of myself. coming to language mune i cannot seem to find a sentence or word which was directed to some one that has an offending effect. help me here pliz. deuces mune:)>-

not to be rude because im sure your wife is a good person..but that’s what you get for marrying muzungu….African women…ebanakashi bachine!!!!!….but hey..its your life..going ahead and do it if you think you’re prepared to face the consequences wich will inevitably follow….:d:d

  14. # 17, if go through the comments, some of what people are saying is not related to the topic, hence #15’s comments are collect. Is commenting on those who are not helping out on any topic.

  15. You guys talking about marrying and sleeping with a wife`s friend is in itself a taboo. That is what these westerners call three-some. But canyou bring it in your marriage? No. Why? It is first against God. Second it is immoral humanly speaking. Third it shows that some one does not want to stick to his/her spouse. Fourth, could be that one is bi-sexual. Go back to your wife and say that you do not want to do it not cus you are from Africa. But that you are looking at the mentioned reasons. This definitely leads to ommoral behaviours perpetuated by the partner. Do not allow that to reach ur marriage no matter what. In fact seek advice from your clergy so that your wife is equallyhelped in this way. We know three-some happens a lot. But it is wrong in all ways.

  19. WALAI NTHWENU…..

the consiquences are that if you do it, it will definately have an impact on your relationship with your wife. wether it be a positive or negative impact depends on how you feel afterwards. from a woman’s point of view…i wouldnt do it because it means bringing a third party into something that is precious and meant for just you and your spouse….but nomba kaili aba sungu they talk of ‘ spicing things up’,,,but there are other ways of doing that…anyway without saying too much..search your self…ask your self if you will be happy with what you have done if you go ahead..and if you dont, ensure that your wifes understands why and that it doesnt mean you dont love her…..

  20. Are u people honestly serious, Ba LT why are you entertaining this nonsense. This is a serious newspaper not a dating advice blog. Get real people
