10. Wining a competition like the M-Net Face of Africa has fa more to do than physical beauty. The competition and adjudication was held over a period of six months in which the contestants where subjected to numerous tasks and test in which overall Lukundo emerged overall winner. If it was based on beauty only anyone who watched the final gala would agree with me that she was not the most beautiful of the 10 finalists if we go by conventional beauty. So for having excelled in all the other task to come out tops she needs to be commended

11. What Id like to know is what is the VIP status that the President conferred on her? What are the privileges that come with it and who else has been conferred this owner by the President?

12. # 7 indeed it is talent coz it involves some skills like swinging the hips in a certain fashion while maintaining a good smile(need good teeth for that),which any common janet and maggy cant do.:-?

13. Zambians lets learn to congratulate and not hate. The girl won hands down. A profession is a profession so stop spitful comments. I think as a nation we should look at how some Aisans are so united. Come to UK, or anywhere in the world, you will see how Aisans encourage each other. If one is in business they usually buy products from another Aisan to also help him boost his business- they are united like that. Nomba come to Africans, Zambians crab mentality all the way round. Some even lose sleep just to bring another person down because of intense jealousy. If you cant love you fellow countrymen which nationality are you going to love? Which nationality will love your fellow county men on your behalf?

14. And beauty can be a talent like #12 has said. Not everyone can pose or hold certain poses while maintainin a beautiful facial expression. Open any fashion mag and attempt to strike poses like the models in there and try to look hallf as beautiful. Am a graphic designer and photographer so I know how much of a challenge am talking about here and how hard our work would be without beautiful talented models.

    Lukundo Nalungwe must be congratulated for having won the competition, no doubt about that.
    My question was about this “President Rupiah Banda has urged youths in the country to remain focused and use their talents to the best of their ability.” Is beauty a talent? You could have, at least, tried to explain like #10 has done to make the “honouring” convincing instead of labeling my mentality and accusing me of hatred and jealousy. Peace!

If you would also like to know more about how beauty can be and is indeed a talent watch shows like America’s next top model etc. Everyone is beautiful but it is how you can use that beauty especially in the fashion industry that makes it a talent. There many stunning jobless models not cus they are not pretty enough but they dont know how to use there features ie walk, talk, pose, personality, style etc which rolls up the whole package in a model worldwide AKA beauty + all the said features = yes Beauty is a talent! It is not just about having a pretty face and been tall.
