Zambia have been drawn in Group 3 on road to the 2012 Africa cup to be jointly hosted by Equatorial Guinea and Gabon
Herve Renard will renew acquaintances against Libya the first team he face on the job on May 22, 2008 in Tripoli in a match that ended 2-2.
The rest of the other teams in Group 3 are Mozambique and Comoros whom they will face for the first time ever at senior level.
Caf had by press time not yet released the full fixture dates for the qualifiers.
ya any way herve hever kuyavevele. guys my wife (umusungu) asked me ati why do i dip the bread mu tea. last time it was ka girlfriend who asked. nafuti i ve failed to answer bane, elo i was drunk whrn she asked so nachi seka sana fye. but she is now serious and wants to knwo. help bane deuces bane:)>-
LT should improve its analysis – what does the draw mean? It means only group winners (11 teams) automatically qualify for the 2012 AfCON, plus three runner-ups and the two co-hosts. So it is quite a “tough” draw for Zambia.

Ya abena #1 Walai nthuwenu mputi bizness, zoona tamumfwa, tell your wife ati efyo munwa tea na tutee pa rhodesia hahh lol
If Gabon can host a cup, why can’t we. But anyway that’s a good draw, we should get through with no problems. As for LT please, please, please do something about the problem child Walai……… he is lowering the standard of the paper. Walai, your personal business is yours, show some level of class and respect others by posting something that is relevant. Furthermore I think they are doctors in the UK who could work with your issuess. Peace
Iwe # 2 avoid copy and paste. The analysis you have said is on BBC Sport Africa. Please MM learn to quote. You have no basis for challenging LT on this one.
# 8 and many like others! there you go again!!!! good draw? why do people insist on smoking opium. leave it to the druggies! so when the comoros clipse you??
lets not keep repeating the same mistake over and over
people, lets not blow this one by succumbing the ghost of our delusions superiority get to us again
i suggest the best way to counter this is to consider this group as dangerous as having been in the same group as egypt, cameroun, nigeria and zambia.
this MUST be our starting point for preparations both physically, psychologically and technically
I BEG EVERYONE, PLEASE QUIT THIS MENTALITY OF UNDERATING TEAMS YOU HAVE NEVER HEARD OF. We are not that good!! Accept this and its a giant step
I know self belief is goo d for your psyche but this is NOT self belief, this is self…
D-E-C-E-P-T-I-O-N. get it???!!!!!!
#10 you are right. Mozambique is no push over. I watched them play at AFCON and they looked a much improved side. Let remember that despite the newly found fame this PE teacher called Renard has acquired, after him and FAZ lowered the bar to just please themselves at AFCON and deceive the masses, he is among the worst coaches Zambia has ever had and he has no medal to show for all this exploit apart from a COSAFA losers medal
And by the way, does anybody have any idea as to what happened to this PE teacher’s loft ambitions to take a big African team to World Cup? Maybe in the capacity of a PE teacher I guess. Anyway FAZ’s Great Galu and his PE teacher are just using Zambia national team as a stepping stones to their so called bigger things , that is why we shall never improve
# 13 you need to realise that a coach is only as good as his team. Lets not put the blame entirely on the coach. Renard is not the worst coach we have ever had, how can he be if he is among the coaches who has taken the team to the second round of AFCON. in all fairness Renard should be maintained with a target of reaching the finals, i think with the squad we have and good preparations, Zambia can do it. all in all this draw is in our favour
# 8 Gabon and Equatorial Guinea are oil producing countries so they have alot more money than our beloved Zambia.
