  1. Pic 3-Sad to see that young Athlete without proper running shoes, i think ifyotulushila, the infrastructure limitations starts from the Athletes themselves to improper running tracks, probably it is high time we diverted our attention from football to other sports.:-?

  2. I think number 1 you are right, we have had enough of soccer, maybe we try something else. Look at picture I too, same with picture 3, no proper gear. And those guys can do better, sports in zambia is a let down.Who is the Sports Minister in Zambia?

  3. Lt pic#6 don’t hide just dont say Lusaka resident thats a half truth, say MMD cadres of Lusaka.So it should read President Banda Mobbed by MMD cadres of Lusaka…., its even evident that they are putting up the symbol for MMD. Its nothing to be ashamed of those are cadres.

  4. can any one tell what the development centre is for please! because the LT never provided a news to us about it.;

  5. pic#9 ba coachman ama posing and wow the crocodile farm very lovely place fellow blockers pliz visit it when you go home……….great pics but the mine shaft is a sad situation where are the investors???

  6. Pic 2-I like the posture assumed by the boy karateka ,he looks so alert and ready to unleash some serious kicks on anyone he thinks is a threat.:-?

  7. #3 lets assume those captured on # 6 are MMD cadres, are they not residents of Lusaka? be objective.

  8. I wonder if trucks/lorries pa zed pay a certain amount for using our little highways because they are the biggest culprit in damaging roads.:-?

  9. ba Lucky Msiska munvela nsoni za bwanji…i like your shy-self !anyway welcome to zed my bro,please teach these “upcoming” young footballers some discipline…the likes of emmanuel zulu,mbesuma,fwayo,mayukwa,kalaba,felix katongo….it seems money is going to their heads !

  10. I do not live In Chililabombwe but i do not think theres a township called Chililabombwe in Chililabombwe!

  12. This center is funded fully and sponsored by the olympic comittee and is the first of it’s kind.l hope that there will be no politics because this is not the government property and furthermore it was a project started under Mwanawasa’s rule so we shan’t credit RB for it either so Thanks to the olympic committee we need to raise more athletes and this is were it begins. I hope govt won’t politicise the whole thing

    The name Chililabombwe has Historical background to it. Chililabombwe means “Croaking Frog”. It is believed that there used to be Huge frogs that were croaking during the nights hence the origin of the name. The Colonial name of the town is Bancroft. It was fun growing up there.

  16. #22 Alozi, unfortunately nothing else has changed in that town apart from the name!! Those are same old buildings left by the colonialists…shame!! What has the town got to show for its rich copper except for the deep hole in the ground!!
