Another Colour campaign launched by NRP

Share

The National Revolution Party has launched its Green Card Campaign condemning both the Red Card and the White Card Campaigns.

In a telephone interview with Q fm this afternoon, Party Secretary General Kelly Walubita Junior says the Green Card Campaign whose aim is to promote peace and tranquility in the country has successfully been launched at Makeni Islamic Center in Makeni.

He called on Zambians to support the Green Card Campaign because it is meant to promote peace among all Zambians regardless of their origin.

He reiterated that the Red Card and the White Card Campaigns should be condemned because they are a recipe for violence and anarchy in the country.

Meanwhile, Mr. Walubita has called for a revisit of the national constitution to make some reforms to make the Zambia Police Service an autonomous wing.

He says once this is not done, the Zambia Police will always operate under instruction from the appointing authority and hence shall always be toothless.

He says the action by the MMD to send 250 cadres to Luapula to protect Dr. Frederick Chiluba is a sign that the police have failed to protect the former head of state.

  1. Many people including some bloggers on this site have been calling for a new young generation of Politicians today in Zambia, to take over from the present old and finished politicians. NAREP seems to be a party of “juniors” (Chipimo junior, Walubuta junior, could be other more), but the ideas and approach of these young politicians is much the same as the old politicians. Although young, they do not seem to have any new agenda for Zambia. The launch of the so called green card is one such example. It does not show seriousness. Any person can launch a card anytime, it is not a big deal. We are interested in big deals for Zambia from the young politicians, not this card business.

  2. Next month I will be launching a black card campaign to condem the three cards that have been launched and or yet to be launched namely; Red, White and Green. Well wishers should donate their money to:

    Alistoto and company
    Nathan Street
    Kwoolong
    Hongkong

  3. By the end of the year we can have the “Black Card” campaign for the death of democracy in Zambia.

  4. Why don’t we pay for this, I for one think that its unfair to watch all this comedy for free!

  5. Zambians are a people known to have big mouths and very little feet and hands..Too much talk and no walk..learn from south africans instead of just complaining everyday..if the government does wrong, you the citizens have the power to to either overthrow and call for a re-election or correct it and direct your energies well to productivity.
”A man does not stop drinking water bcoz his son drowned in the river”….this is your country and you must reap from it and bettet you lives…

  6. Green sounds Agriculture. It would be better to associate colour with the type of small business people would like to engage in. Those who want Agriculture would go for green. Service would take on probably Blue or white, while Orange would take represent processing or mining and so on. Those who have nothing to think of; would use danger red: need help. That way colour would have economic meaning.

  7. This would be a quick survey of people’s preferences. By establish a Business Rapid Responce Group which is able to quickly spot out different groups, organize training and link them up to sources of funding. Having District and Ward level Business Incubation Centres with means of linking the young entrepreneurs to sources of funding. If we attach economic benefits to colour there is a likelihood that many would be careful what colour they show, as some colours would have no attached benefits. If one group of pipo reports that their coulour won them assistance, more and more groups are likely to go for the wining colour. Correlation and Determination bana bahesu.

  8. This a bunch of jokers.
    Do people listen to them?

  9. What is wrong with the card? Dont you people want peace? I for one am for peace all the way.Stop these useless and mad campaigns that cause tension in the country, lets just encourage people to register as voters, so we can form govt. VIVA CONTD PEACE.

  10. Naine I’m lauching a ” COLOURLESS CAMPAIGN” to counter the Green, Red and White ones. Any sponsors out there.

I have a modest budget of $10billion dollars only which needs to be funded. Ha ha ha pa Zed unga funte.
