  1. Munzi wapya kayakaya Sata Luapula says together we stand abash insults we deserve better than this Bisa scumbag. In short they have told off Sata to keep his insults in Mpika where he is ordained by his brother in-law Telesphore Mpundu.

  2. Zambian women are drinking MOSI more than their male counterparts. No wonder bana tumamimba twamoba.

  3. picture #12 and 18 clearly show that George Kunda is not well.Doesnt the wife see this?Cant she prevail upon this man to take a rest?Anyway again his main concern maybe the fact that once he resigns he wont be able to access Morningside. This is where the Presido should move in and relieve the man of his office.why should we wait for the man to drop dead?

  4. You see the goodness with Luapula chiefs is that they can see through cheap politicking, they not like there counterparts from the East. They know better than to be fooled by Chiluba and company. You see the Mwata, he looks very wise, watch all the lip service going on in the MMD ritual, like a difficult family uncle.

  5. L T Good pictures. The pictures show that Luapula is on fire and no go area for the opposition

  6. Which school did you attend LT journalists,is this “hundreds welcoming chiluba”,shame its only a spoon handful, even my 6 months old baby can count them on his fingers.you should be ashamed of yourselves. And look how dirty luapula.Chiluba, you never did anything in your ten years and you want to do something about luapula now, come on kafupi.just enjoy your stolen wife while it lasts.

  7. #2 get a life. Two pictures of women enjoying a Mosi does not mean all women are drunkards. Like all women in Africa they encounter more problems and prejudices all the time. Nice to see some of them enjoying a beer. Seeing all those fat politicians tells me who has beer bellies!:d

  15. Pic 14-It is sad tho funny to seeing Chiluba struggling to disembark from the vehicle.I will blame the organizers for being insensitive to the needs of the physically challenged ,they knew that umunabo mwipi why couldn`t they provide him with a stool or should i say akapuna to use pakwikila.:-?

  16. Very good analysis # 20 and 21. Pic 1, our wise Chief, smart, very observant and cant be swayed by cheap political propaganda.

  17. #20, the first group of leaders is a disgrace except the botswana guy, these characters have outlived their usefullness. Ninkotizo baad, the other group has fresh ideas which these olderrr fellows cant understand. meanwhile vwipi is back, no more cadiac problems

  18. #2.Is Mosi only for men.Whats wrong with abit at the end of a hard day’s work that is if you dont over indulge? Please let the women enjoy also.Should it only be fanta for them all the time.Awe!!

  19. Nice pictures, pic#14 and pic#15…ba Lusaka times is the visit over? to my understanding its like visiting moscow and petersburg. means visiting Russia. There are bigger issues in other towns…when are those pipo coming to visit us so that they also hear our complaints kaili… :-@;):((

  20. Walai, you were banned sori mune. Ati shani pa Califonia walilila ka? Congratulations pa mwana mwandi mune nitemwa ilayshi lya wama. Nomba madamu ali shani ena achili alemoneka bwino.

  21. 🙁 girls of nowadays no longer cook like their fathers but drink like their fathers

  22. oh sorry no.32 shouild read no longer cook like their mothers but drink like their fathers lol:-w

  23. pic #19 Funny, this picture alone seemed to have finally opened someone’s eyes to child labour issues – and these issues are not only in Mansa, they are country wide. Child labour could have been a hot topic had it been included on the “development” agenda.

Sorry, boyi, just continue selling your roasted peanuts – you’ve shown more intelligence than waiting for “development” to come to Mansa.

  24. The imprisoning of the two gay couple in Malawi is despicable and very sad.Why should two people who love each other be persecuted for a private relationship? it is sad and backwards mentality. This kind of intolerance is the biggest problem the world is facing today and it stems from Religion.

Ladies and Gentleman, let gay people be who they are and you be who you are.We leave people who marry 5 women alone in this age of aids and imprison people who are just having a relationship which is unique from us by using our jails.Ask yourself this question, would you choose to be gay? certainly not, so what makes you think those two individuals chose to be gay? being gay happens in nature, we may not fully understand it but it is by no means a crime!

  27. 37 true i think there is nothing wrong with someone being gay it a choice one has to choose whether we like it or not we are all human beings whether we choose to butt the other side it doesnt matter

  28. ulemu ba regina fya bufi
#28/29 the dedicates were only in Moscow not st peters burg ,i believe they came to Russia specifically for the body,,,,,,:”>:”>:”>

  29. 35.36.37. Combinedsun. Malawi is not America so shut up. If in America you kiss each others A.S.S. not in Malawi. You are the one who is a nonsense. Who do you think you are to blame the whole Malawi government? You have your President who supports homosexuality in America not in Malawi. Have you never heard that in Dubai more than twice couples have been jailed for kissing in public. And yet that’s part of American everyday life.Gone are the days when Africans were cheated through imperialism. If you have been brain washed or may be you are gay just keep your fingers to your dude not on this blog about Malawi.Suppose your father was gay, who would have given birth to you.Your parents must be very disappointed with an animal like you. Kawalala wamwambo iwe bati. Mfwiti yakanthu-kanthu…

  30. Finally someone from the government visited our children in Russia. If governmnet has ears, let it improve and multiply quality learning institutions on Zambeziland soil.
Studying in Russia is more of a desperation especially for us from poor families.

  31. Lusaka Times has become an MMD mouth piece going by the publicity that MMD have received in these pictures! There was a big mammoth PF/UPND rally in Lusaka yesterday and the Editors of the Lusaka Times have concentrated in showing us pictures of MMD events that took place ages ago! In their (Editors) view it didn’t happen in Lusaka. Please let us see the pictures as things are happening not by pulling pictures from archives of events that were non-consequential!
Give us a fair assessment and don’t be like the Times of Zambia (formerly the largest selling newspaper in Zambia) and now the biggest MMD mouth piece! Even Daily Mail (2 pictures of RB on the front page of the online version of the newspaper) show you where their bread is buttered!
    Be impatial please!
