  1. Pics#1-8 – Boxing is contained violence and brutalization not a sport.

Pic#15 – Ba Chanda B. nice to see you looking good

pic#18 – Burundian counterpart makes Thandie look beautiful and sophisticated!

pic#21 – last stop before hell

  2. Titus has no shame driving through the neighborhood he failed to develop…and he is proud to be called ‘the former president’ 😮 Kiss my A double S

    :-w

  3. LT thanks but, hey there is always a but here. You seem biased against Ester Phiri. These pictures (4-8) do not give a true reflection of that fight. 7 and 8 are very negative! Ester dominated that fight but your pictures don’t show it. You don’t even show her celebrating after the fight. Either your cameraman is not worth his salt or you deliberately chose ‘wrong’ pictures. By the way, why do you have to write Chiluba driving “freely” in picture 16. What impression are you trying to portray here? Is he not supposed to drive freely?

  4. Elo ba Esther naimwe your bra and pant don’t seem to match well ka…I mean no offence nkashi yandi :)>- Congratulations

    =d>

  5. Very inspiring to see the physically challenged racing. Such activities should be encouraged as well among our able bodied youths. Too much utujilijili abaiche :-w

  6. pic20. ”Dr Chiluba cools off after preaching at BIGOCA Church in Lusaka” I just wonder what sort of bible this church and many churches that have entertained Chiluba follow. The bible demands that we be at peace with follow (wo)men then serve God…I would propose that he returns the slut, Regina to the true owner(i.e if he can accept her back) & repeat of his many other sins (& reconcile with his slut, Vera)….Then he can preach. Otherwise what meaningful sermon can Chiluba preacher?
    pic17. Geroge Kunda’s posture tells it all, that he’s a miserable boot-licker
pic2. Esther Phiri’s painted hair makes her look disgusting to say the least
pic15. Ba Chanda Beu…as a bus conductor I would say what a wasted dancing career. Beu is one of the most talented performer Zambia has ever…

  7. Couldn’t a more modern and attractive scale be used for the weighing in of the two boxers? I would be reluctant to step bare footed on that dirty looking scale. It such small things that count set apart developed countries from under-developed ones like ours.

  8. “Dr Chiluba, holding a brown envelope with Bishop Peter Ndlovu outside BIGOCA Church in Lusaka” LMFAO. ah no mwe. thats enough evidence….lol. you journalists.

  9. That Brown envelope is suspicious!
#12 & 14, Can you educate me what the abbreviations “LMFAO” stand for? Some of us are behind, eh? Forgive my ignorance!

  10. Pic#19, Thandi is improving everyday, Burundi first lady – akalufumo kwati ni pregnancy or she had too much food on the plane. Pic#16, nice to see ba chanda Beu still kicking, the lady next is the wife i believe.

  11. Nice to see Esther sobrely dressed in the ring, but there waz no need to wear a swim-suit at weigh-in. Since when did the “vuvuzela” (pict.11) become part of the Zambian football/boxing supporterz? It iz nice and really works well for our SA counterparts, but very alien to the Zambian set up. The reporter’z tone (pict.16) iz somehow unpallatable.

  12. iye chanda beu nakula. mama:d. Thandi keep it up and thanks for taking our advise;) But seriously being a priest pays even if am rich but i am thinking of venturing in this sector :-w

  13. Boxing pictures: not a single picture with a punch! You could have just frame grab from youtube videos.
I love Chanda Beu. He has shown that being achondroplastic or any partial-ableness is not a hinderance to success.

  14. UBUWELEWELE MUCHALO:

I agree with your sentiments about Esther’s pictures above. They indeed don’t reflect the performance of OUR OWN HERO.

I have watched the clip of that fight and, LT, you chose pictures that paint a ‘below par’ performance by Esther—–where is your pride in our Zambian sports women/men who are helping put our country on the world map in sports?! This forum is mainly meant for Zambians after all. So who are you trying to impress here, Brazilians or Zambians?! The caption in pic #8 sounds more in support of the Brazilian (Duda) than Esther—–SHAME ON YOU!!

Other than that, I do enjoy your pictures. Keep them coming.

  15. Mwapoleni bonse

Nice pics to begin the day with… thanks LT.

Big up yourself Esther! Female boxing is not really my thing but she really looks brilliant in the ring compared to her opponent…

Matero looks neat… or is it just that part of the township?

Ati “sit like Leo” – I was almost wondering who is taller/shorter between Chanda Beu and FTJ until I saw the latter’s feet touching the ground.
    :-?:))

  16. Esther alisungapo ka arrangement akalondolokafye bwino
Kuti twa mu operator fye bwino bwino.
But on a serious note couldnt someone arrange a better outfit for her?
Where are the fashion people in zed. Dont they realise such events are a golden opportunity to advertise their products? Esther is a croud puller so she’s be a very good advertising channel

  17. ba ester imifwalile awe disgusting she shud have hidden the clivage we know she has some
    Chanda B long time :(:(:(

  18. Pic 20-Bushe ka Chiluba te tujijiri ka lenwa in church ? Pic 19-looks like chilu is back to giving out brown envelops to churches:-?

  19. It is true mwe esther must buy some nice bamba`s or should i say nika next time not those kamwala kamwala type…crazy colors as if yakutinishako abana…no offence meant but bane dressing speaks volumes.

  20. #29 Mo taim kwena wanjipaya! Ati kamwala kamwala type:)):)):))

But mwandi dressing yena speaks volumes, as you say – in this case, one might think she can’t afford Victoria’s Secret, much less Prada.

  21. Good job you are doing LT in informing us. Well appreciated. Small advice though. Let us not shoot down those trying to do good. Zambia lucks heroes. We look up to foreign heroes who dont know about Zambia or just dont care. So when there is one looking like they can do us proud its time to rally all Zedians behind that one. This because of the pictures and commentary you chose to publish for Esther, our hero. Ya boxing is not my favourite but there is a lesson to be learned there. Anything is possible. Drive it home.

Chiluba with his trademark brown envelopes. How can anybody fail to recognise him….No imaginative business people in Zed indeed. Missed an opportunity to gain some visibility through Esther. Esther’s managers too blind to cash in on this op to dress her. So sad.

  22. #19
To be honest my dear, the first thing i noticed about our sister is how fit she is and one can easily see the confidence…and indeed now that she has become a great competitor, i agree with you that gear should also follow suit…any tips madam first lady, seeing that you have caught on really fast?!!!

  23. Fake pastors in these tuntemba churches e.g BIGOCA would do anything as long as a brown envelop is assured. See there they invite a THIEF to preach in their so called church coz the thief (Chiluba) promised them a bribe in the brown envelop. Surely what meaningful message can come out of that small thief ?Shame on this kantemba church (BIGOCA) 4 its love 4 money.
