  1. Picture 9 and caption is very nonsensical. Better for LT to post no pics at all than to subject us to this

  2. Apart from the first three pics the rest have very little to offer.
    Pity to those little children
Some of us have been there before and its not nice at all
God bless those little innocent souls and set them free from that bondage of poverty

  3. I agree with # 1. LT’s comment is in bad taste. It is wrong for LT to conclude that ALL Lusaka residents share their comment on picture 9. The best LT can do is either to change that narration or completely remove the picture.

  4. It is interesting to see the contrast between the children in Pic#1,2 and in Pic#3

Who is to blame? Is it the govt for failure to provide adequate early childhood education or is it the parents for having children they cannot support?

  5. Lt This is nonsense. You call it child labour, but they call it survival. What have you done for them to stop working. If you were born with a silver spoon in your mouth better. Some of us went through that and it was part of our life. Child labour is Western European ideology and its not applicable in our poor countries. Train a child when he/she is young, when he/she grows up will not part away from the way.

  6. i pity those children heavy loads but we have been there it makes people stronger
    that uniform is ugly please:((:((:((:((
pic# 9 rubbish we do not care
    the Egyptian woman hmmmmmmmmm
is that the conference where ba mutati made wrong statements???:d:d:d:d:d:d

  7. #6 to an extet you have a point that is necessary for childen to be exposed to a bit of hard wrk for them to grow up as hard working adults on a narrow and straight path. However, i think vrything possible should be done to prevent kids being overused/overexposed to excessive manual work. Kids should be left to enjoy their childhood
On whose fault it is, this is a complex question to answer. Iit could be either the parents in some instances but the bigger blame is on the fact that we do not have systems sufficient enough to safeguard the welfare of our children.

  8. AND PEOPLE DONT ALWAYS MOVE WITH MONEY FULL IN THERE POCKETS ! THATS WHY CARDS ARE THERE YOU *******************.THIS IS NOT GOOD LT.

  9. The worst pictures LT has ever published. Not worth a look. There must be more than this going on in Zambia. If it is meant to be light hearted, then make the whole lot like that, otherwise forget it.

  10. Children carrying things on their heads does not equate to child labour. Some of us have done that. Child labour is where a child is commercially engaged to earn a living out of work, while being excluded from education and ‘normal’ childhood activities.

  11. Pic 1 & 2-much as the western world might tell us that using children in such a way is child labour i beg to disagree ,when it comes to the zambian situation. In zambia it is all about survival of the fittest, no wonder one of my favourite local sayings is “walinda walya ngi”so it is either you join them or you are beaten ,so bane only in the western world can you find child labour not in my shangombo .Pic 9-Ba LTwhat has that matako ya mu boiz to do with knowing that tasungilepo ,maybe you should shed more light on it ,otherwise that looks like ama dizzy to me,most likely shakers pa kabwata market.:-?

  12. are u MMD cadre LT? all i see is pics of Bwezani, his sweet 16, kafupi, and stupid MMD cadres.
pls give us real pics, not politicians,we hate them. who wants to see there faces everyday. they are just after stealing our money.

  13. lol pic #9, I can imagine cameraman going ” ok boi, pilibuka….ndefwaya nku kope pa matako” – pic doesn’t make any sense at all..

  14. True…apart from the pictures with kids that are going through hardships, the rest are a waste of space and time. As you grow you learn too. When did you guys start taking pictures ba LT cos truly, these pics are a big let down.

  15. Hey folks! too many criticism to LT why? let them do their job.if you are not happy with the crap they post on this blog, then stop blogging. Why the big deal? Give them a BREAK!
