Lucky Msiska says he is pleased with his team’s performance despite drawing with Botswana in a friendly international in Gaborone today.
Zambia and Botswana drew 0-0 in a match that marked former international Lucky Msiska’s debut match in full charge at national level since returning home two months ago.
“I am very happy with what I saw and we dominated the first half before Botswana enjoyed possession in the second half,” Msiska said who took a team comprising of mostly Under-23 players whom he will be working with in the 2011 All Africa Games and 2012 Olympic Games football tournament qualifiers as head coach.
“I now have a good idea what I will be dealing with now.”
Msiska said the team returns home by road tomorrow at 05:00 and will spend a night in Livingstone en route back to Lusaka.
Msiska is finished! The guy will settle for anything! You are proud of a draw? Just accept it that your days are long gone. Leave the young blood coach our team to success…
Number 1, MMD CHIEF BOOT, What is the matter with you? what has Msiska done or did to you? From the word go, you have been against him. Give him chance.
# 1 u are very dull and useless and so u feel jealousy 4 the football icon, Msiska. When u are playing away from home the best results are either win or draw which Msiska achieved. The results are very okay though we still need to improve. Msiska is no longer playing but coaching and so 2 say his dayz are long gone does not make sense but shows # 1 is either a mad or confused boy. Msiska’s achievements in Zambian football will stand 4ever. Congrats Msiska “Mwanawakwitu”
# 1; meaning you expected your team to have walked all over the tswana’s? wake up and stop living in the past
our U23 team got an away draw against Botswana’s senior team.. its not so bad. will get better no doubt
Great result for a start! Get a friendly every other month to develop a solid team. Zambia loves you “Mwanawakwitu”!!!
Bootlicker, you are completely off-track(PHD at its worst!!!!).His days are over? how?Yes his footballing career,we all know is over just like the career of any footballer but his days as a Coach are not.To the contrary, they have just began!Msiska,Iam behind you!!
let GEORGE LWANDAMINA assist MSISKA it ll be good for us

You are so helpful…this is Msiska’s first game as coach and he is finished?! What has he to prove to you? What have you done for Zambia other than showing your shallow thinking every time you send in your views??? Get a life man, they played Botswana’s national team and got a draw…they actually played well..what else do you want bro?
Often #1doezn’t say the best of thingz, but I think to be content with a scoreless draw even the U-20 played the Indian National team iz not good enough. Our U-23( 90% are just about 23!) should not have a problem playing Botswana U-35. I have nothing against Msiska and don’t like MMD Chief Bootlicker’z language, but what the rest of you are saying iz that our futbo haz ebbed.
People lets be objective when we make comments. I watched the game live. We had a POSITIVE results. If you know Zambian football just tell me who you know from the list below. These are the young boys that played save for Mike.
