NAREP, NRP and NGP to form pact

Share

The National Revolution Party (NREP), the National Restoration Party NRP, and the New Generation Party (NGP) have started consultations to form a pact.

NRP general secretary Kelly Walubita said the three parties are only awaiting the return of NAREP president, Elias Chipimo Junior who is out of the country to conclude the consultations.

He said the alliance would be based on objectivity and will carry a vision for the young people in the country.

Mr Walubita assured Zambians that the alliance is not worried about who will head it because all they are focused in creating a strong foundation for the young people and giving them a distinct vision.

He noted that the already existing pact between the Patriotic Pront (PF) and United Party for National Development (UPND) has lost and direction.

Mr.Walubita has also accused the two pact leaders of being egocentric and self centered.

  1. Why can’t they just announce the formation their pact without bashing the UPND-PF pact. What if there is an option of converging the two?

  2. It is good to see more parties taking part in Zambia’s democracy. This is good for our Democracy. I hope to see the new NAREP, NRP & NGP pact test their effectiveness in a Parliamentary election.

  3. the formayion of this pact is a none starter, because the parties involved are all useless. I know that Humphrey Siulapwa can only be found in Lotus inn, maybe that is where the consultative meeting was held after downing large amounts of Smirnoff.

  4. Watch this space… there’s going to be a PACT of all PACTS; this mega pact will include, FP, PUDN, DMM, ****, PH, CAP, PLU, DDUP, GPN, RPN and DFD to be headed by Professor Doctorate Dedgree and running mate Higher National Diploma while Advanced Craft Certificate will be the Prime Minister. Membership of this MULTI PACT will be by National Registration Card only.

  5. This is really a waste of time, NGP is really not a party, NRP – ? what following it brings to the table.
The loser in all this is NAREP, becoz no one will take them seriously again. NAREP should tough it out, infact with the current atmosphere, who knows how people would vote after a concerted door to door campaign. NAREP do not waste your time – “Its time for change, like no other time before!!!”
