Second Republican President Fredrick Chiluba has described as lawlessness the attempt by Transparency International Zambia to file submissions regarding the registration of the London Judgment when the process has ended and the parties are merely awaiting judgment.
In statement made available to QFM today by his spokesperson Emmanuel Mwamba, Dr Chiluba said he is shocked at the blatant disregard of the law and the disrespect shown to the High Court by TIZ, MNB Legal Practitioners and The Post.
Dr Chiluba said the action is desperate and is deliberately intended to create undue pressure on the Court.
He said the filed submissions were rejected by the High Court but that Transparency International, their lawyers MNB Legal Practitioners and The Post, proceeded to publish the rejected submissions without warning the public that the said action was dismissed.
Dr Chiluba added that the extensive publication of rejected submissions is a ploy intended to excite the public emotions against him.
He further states that the methods used by Transparency International are desperate and that their attempt to canvass in this manner is contemptuous to the court proceedings.
He adds that these actions are in contempt of the proceedings before Court and only serve lawlessness.

Dr Chiluba also condemned MNB Legal Practitioner for their action, stressing that they have taken a matter of vested interest without declaring interest, accusing them of wishing to participate in the matter through the back door.
He stated that it is public knowledge that Mr.Nchito was a witness to the proceedings that led to the London Judgment together with Post Editor-in- Chief, Fred Mmembe.

Dr Chiluba. should at least have the courtesy of acknowledging that he made mistakes which sent some of our people to early graves by retiring them without benefits.Dr Nyerere acknowledged that his policies never worked and people understood and respected him for that.The london judgement just confirmed what we long suspected to be taking place in our but instead of apologising to the people, we have our former president trying very hard to protect his pride.

Dr.Syambukula (sp) must be a very embarrassed PF cadre at ZIALE for his action of leaking and falsely granting a ZIALE pass grade to law school failures.I have always questioned the legal credentials of some of these junior upstart lawyers especially who are authentically dull at law but have bought their way through to earn an undergraduate degree.This is why i admire the US law school system that involves some rigorous steps to earn a JD Degree. Well, Banda ought to know that if bhe engineers another acquittal of Chiluba he must forget winning the polls in 2011. This will be a political suicide of unimaginable propositions that could even sweep him out of power before the polls. We are sick and tired of daily evil schemes only intended to dribble us, we elected these people to save us and not corn us at every turn. There has to be a pay back time for all these evil machinations and especially for the likes of Kunda, Mlongoti, Shikapwasha and Dora Siliya, I hope the penalty will be the ultimate price, life itself.

Please let the law take its course. If the prosecution failed to present a strong case you can’t blame anybody if Chiluba is acquitted. Look at the other acquittal, the prosecutors had full knowledge of the fraility of their case right from the beginning when forensic audits of ZAMTROP account were carried out by the Bank of Zambia and Price Waterhouse Coopers, but they never changed tactics, instead relying on Memmbe and his Post. When are we going to learn that you win cases by presenting strong evidence and not some lazy emotions carried in the Post?

Dear Zambia. Let God judge Chiluba for any thing claimed to have been done. Those who have not done this in their lives let them throw a stone on Chiluba. Some of us are more sinners than the Former President. So let each one of us look at what we done on daily basis and you will be shocked that you have done terrible things that Chiluba.
