  1. #1 I really dont know or see where people base their arguments when it comes to the zambian economy growing,,,if that picture is anything to go by,then all the figures about economy growing is a load of tosh.
by the way have school uniforms been done away with in Zed?

  2. #2, If that is what is called a ‘classroom in Zed, then expect a uniform to be a luxury.

What you are seeing in the pictures is the real Zed. “GDP growing at 6.6%”. I leave it up to the rest of the bloggers to judge on their own.

  3. Microfinancing, that is the way. As for contraceptive pills, why is the Whole US government involved? The Family Planning Association (later PPA) was founded in the US specifically to ‘curtail the breeding of the fecund Negro woman!’ it seems to be the same principle.

  4. Anyandule Anyandule abweza ziko pansi look at them still enjoying the tax payers money even after plundering the national resources, after plundering ati Zambia is a christian nation.

Picture # 1 Zambia the real africa with economical growth 6.6%

  5. Picture #1 is a sad one. Surely those pupils were born during the MMD govt and looks like such ‘development’ is everywhere..

  6. How can your wife’s lover beat you to a pulp like that? This is truly shocking. Some women are devils to the core. Anyway am not surprised at all these career women are not being taught well traditionally. they lack respect and they dont want to be challenged on anything. Their balls are getting bigger by the day.

  7. I feel sorry for the kids in pic#1, hungry, dry and burnt by the sun. How can you learn honestly. Ba MMD twapapata…..

  8. My goodness ba gladys nyirongo has lost weight! geez! What is she doing outside the jail cell i thought she was convicted and is serving time?? Even FTJ looks so frail.

  9. Nice picture by LT. Pic 3 the caption is misleading. The man was actually beaten by the husband to a woman he’s flirting with. And talking about economic growth, the 6.6% actaully exists on paper only. And for the information of you bloggers that have never been to rural areas in Zambia, pic 1 is actually encouraging. The pupils at least have somewhere to sit. I’ve been to places where the situation is worse. Maybe its better to separately talk of economic growth for cities and economic growth for villages in which case it would be 6.6% and 0.0001% respectively.

  10. The Zambian Government is a TOTAL DISGRACE to say the least,45 years after independance we still have scenes such as in picture No.1

  11. FTJ and Regina should be enjoying the retirement of a former prezident instead of trying to prove their “innocence” to the Zambians.

  12. I remember the bus station in #17 very well. That time it was UBZ and travelling to schools was a nightmare. Spent a night or two on those floors! Amama neo!!! Nothing much has changed since the 80’s.

  13. Pict. # 1
We need more of such pictures so that we know how our fellow Zambians are suffering in the rural areas.Don’t just give us pictures of plunderers, corrupt gurus or characters with huge appetite to jump on planes to tour the world.
I’m really saddened by this picture especially when I hear some official bluffing that GDP is growing @ some unrealistic rate. What a shame to this Govt.

  14. Pic # 1
…Should give you a reason for coming back to Zambia after “Nga wasamfya tompwe- to develop your country!” We need patriotic Zambians. You are busy blogging from foreign land, shame!!!!!!!!!! No one will change your country…!

  15. picture 3 balimuponona chiikala haha. yaba. knock out bane! but LT why no pictures of white women today? eh? u know that make my day lyonse. can u pliz update and put the lovely white ladies on here.

  18. Nice selection of Pictures LT…keep up the good work. I just feel sorry for the gentleman in Pic#3 who was beaten up by both his wife’s lover & the wife…what a sad situation. I kindly ask LT to follow up this case which is now before the courts of law and inform the readers of this paper as to its outcome.

  19. Iwe Ndalya live: who would you give one: Regina or Thandiwe? I think chi Regina nachina sane, but ka Thandi nga ka dropa ifitenge, awe ba RB kuti baipaya! Nama trips kuti baleka. Ine ni ka Thandi ati ni live!

  20. numbala 29! mmm apo its a tough decision mune! to be honest i like big women, not in terms of fat mune but just size fiylafinay. but apa i can just take ka tatu- some nizeee. oh and live too

  21. sAD IN PIC #1. sUCH THINGS ARE STILL HAPPENING IN OUR ECONOMIC THAT IS GROWING AT 6.6 %. ONE JUST WONDERS.

MMD thugs, please chanell that money you are stealing every day to such children.

Awe bwafye bane naba mukukulu aba.

  22. numbala 11 ghost rider! awe pliz take that pic out! u are scaring some of us here mune! if that is how u rily look like then my friend u have alot to worry about. chibanda iwe

  23. Chiluba must have a congolese person or a former pastor advising him on suits. What kind of suit is that with a shirt collor on top? Ma suit yutungisa aya will just make you look silly.

  24. what useless hamermills thandi’s distributing? look at them people and tell me if its what a vice president should be giving to the people. #33 u should start by kulya thandie maybe RB will put his a.ss down in the office!!!

  25. Picture #3, is this Mrs GBM in hospital?
Picture #5, Yaba! what has happened to Ba Gladys Nyirongo? If my memory serves me right, she was a lot bigger and very light skinned.

  26. Ndalya Live: walilyapo kagelo akashaina? Isuma sana! bUT imwe mwebabile ukulya ku Zedee, fingelo ifyaina mwalifitemwa sana. But ukalyekofye akapimwa bwino and compare. So kuti walya na chi Dora?

  27. iwe numbala 39! kuti nachi fukunya spovidos chi dora! aaaah nayisa nachi bonkonya ku bokosi.. i even arrive aaaah nizeee

  28. Muli shani bane

pic. #1 would be better if those kids were seated under a tree instead of being subjected to the burning sun. Is’nt the structure we see behind the blackboard a classroom? Looks to me as though the class just opted for a lesson “close to nature”.

#3 what a hard knock life. Looks like a victim from a car accident.

  29. #42, wrong again – 41 years old and 22 years in diaspora!! You know why i enjoy talking to Ndalya live: He is is the only one who talks about the reality. I am sure we are all feed up of advising these MMD thickos and they will not listen. So why should i waste my precious time t (nga walishiba calculus from DK and beyond. time t is important…) always putting all the valid points and you GRZ just listen to john foreign and do what he says? So let me and Ndalya live discuss what we enjoy. Mwata, Senior Citizen MMD Chief Bootlikers always post some nonsense on this blog and i am sure you ignore them! After finishing working in the city, I do enjoy practicing my Bemba with other bloggers, ndalya live being one of them. So, please go advise the MMD and leave us alone…!

  30. The saint you pulled the words right out of my brain sockets on the planned parenthood. Yes indeed a wise mind sees the evil behind it of trying to stop God’s go forth and multiply. In the the case of kwa-chazanga and Kwa-mununga they breed on the regular they indeed must be regulated, litters only below to dogs and cats not broke people. Your words are wise. Picture one I am happy the children are out side and sitting unlike some Lusaka schools in the eighties. The chipata statue should have been a tractor and not a hoe, better still both would make me happy.

  31. to be honest bane yesterday i blogged under the influence of fweba now i am sober and i have looked at that pooor soul in pic 3 hahahahaha awe valimuponona, ama guys tavakwata uluse haha. awe beyond repair. that chap is lucky to be still breathing. am sure ali ku icu. yaba

  32. Very nice pictures LT, keep it up. Just a bit of a ‘thumb down’ on your unnecessary repeats of pictures 11 to 14. There must be plenty happening in around to take assorted pictures of, so please learn to vary pictures instead of queuing up same shots. Apart from that little hitch, these particular pics. are brilliant.

  33. #47. I completely support you. I think this site is run by MMD chaps together with state media. Why do we always find Times of Zambia and Daily mail stories here? I have stopped reading LT from today.

  34. Slumdog Shalapungu #35. I’m not an FTJ supporter but those kinds of suits were designed by African leaders who were trying to run away from assuming the identity of the white oppressor who always wore tie and jacket. In fact most of us were forced to wear those ties and jackets so as ‘to look civilised’. The Kaundas Nyereres Mobutus Nkrumahs therefore designed alternative African style suits to wear. Iam actually surprised to see Chiluba in one because I know him as a brainwashed individual who thinks style can only be European.
