PACT is stronger- Lubinda

Share

The opposition Patriotic Front says that it will not succumb to the pressures of those who have found joy in the various challenges that the PF-UPND pact is dealing with.

PF spokes person, Given Lubinda told radio QFM in an interview that those willing to celebrate some of the challenges that the Pact could be going through can go ahead.

Mr. Lubinda said that a lot of people especially those from the ruling party have found a lot of joy ever since the pact experienced a mix up in ward electoral candidates.
He said that the MMD has constantly found pleasure in criticizing the Pact on every opportunity it gets even when it is not necessary.

Mr. Lubinda however maintained that the Pact will not waste its time paying attention to those that find pride in pin pointing its mistakes.

He noted that it is not how one falls that counts but how one rises and adds that the Pact will give the ruling party a rude shock in next years tripartite election.

  1. # 1, please speak for your self. I know that there is a PACT! I also know that Lubinda is and has been arround. Very active, present and relevant-Lubinda! viva PACT

  2. This Pastun taliban called Rasheed Giftless Lubinda’s humble education from NRDC and whatever he got from the madrassa indocrinations in his native country of Pakistan has no political capital to understand the quagmire of this so-called pact circus. He is talking of something that does not even exist.

  3. People like Lubinda are a danger to the well being of the country. He is the type who think that Zambians are fools and takes them for granted. Is this the type of people we expect to be ministers. Somebody tell this guy to face reality they are a disgrace to politics. Lubinda, Mpombo,Mabenga and Wiliam Banda are of the skin who think we fools. They should emulate Felix Mutati , who is factual, focused and does his work.

  4. Lubinda hehehehehehe….. The PACT is dead, it simply killed itself. There are no external forces involved bo Lubinda ndate. As for the ward electoral candidates, there is no mix up bo Lubinda ndate, your very own president none other than Michael Chilufya Sata has stated in no uncertain terms that Quote “….there is nothing wrong with alliance members competing against each other…” Unquote. Bo Lubinda ndate do you think that we are so stupid that we do not read or observe? You will be the one to be shocked, come 2011.

  5. Na nemwine ndatwishika pakiti iyi nga ekoyaba. ale lubinda kaili wandi ngafwilishako ule tukabomfye aka akapuba beta abatì hakainde

  6. Millions of under 5 diaper HH 2011 Posters have already been printed. So which Pact are you talking about?maybe Pact with S.E.X workers at Namakau house.

  7. #3 You are a very sad person. Very sad!
I plead to the world to hold a good thought for you so you may find a joyful moment in this your short life.

  8. I thought Mr. Sata stopped pact members to comment on the pact in the media. We need a rest from pact talk. Let each pact member party organize itself than riding on each member’s popularity. We need to see how UPND can start organising itself in areas where it is not popular and also PF.This is time to work flat out. Forget about the pact otherwise MMD may win again in 2011

  9. On “Mr. Lubinda said that a lot of people especially those from the ruling party have found a lot of joy ever since the pact experienced a mix up in ward electoral candidates… Mr. [Hon MP Given] Lubinda however maintained that the Pact will not waste its time paying attention to those that find pride in pin pointing its mistakes” this is good but I heard from a reliable source that the mighty UPND has restrategised and the plan is to go it alone in the 2011 elections.

I just hope Mr PF/Sata MC will will reconsider his PF approach to working with the UPND because Mr PF/Sata MC is likely to be in the opposition for the rest of his life when he could have been appointed minister by HH in the would-be UPND government assisted by PF.

    Have a blessed day all.

  10. Maestro Hhehhehhehhe for 2011 would-b President of Zambia
Sata has been a ward chairman before, Disctrict Governor, Minister of State (deputy Minister at the time) and full Cabinet Minister (while serving as elected MP for Zambia’s biggest contituency – Kabwata, and also Mpika Central). Furthermore Sata has grown the PF to be the largest opposition party in the country as we all know – Sata got twice the number of votes HH got in 2008, giving him 2 times the amount of national supprt HH has.
HH has never held any public office, or elected office (apart from hijacking UPND from Saki on tribal grounds). So if you think HH can come and hijack the Pact like he did UDA and appoint Sata as minister you must be joking. If you are serious then please advise HH to leave the pact…

  11. The PACT really frightens some people, just read the comments above. Those who are sponsored to live outside by RB are shaking in their pants. Stop dreaming and face the truth. SATA and HH know that is the only way MMD will go and MMD will go. So some of you on MMD welfare abroad like veteran just think of plan B because it wont be easy for you next year.

  12. Uko…………., there is a lot fo dreaming indeed. Point is PF will not accept HH to lead Sata they say there is not Pact if MCS is not chosen as sole candidate. Without HH at the helm of the PACT southern province(UPND stronghold) will back RB. So then where is the PACT?

  13. Good . . .let these fools continue thinking they are in a pact…this Lubinda … Where did he get the surname. are there Lubindas in indian, pakistan or sri lanka. This bastard has no father . . . .No wonder he is so bitter with everybody

  14. Think this PACT issue should be put to rest its like the two leaders are not ready to accept each other they just want to keep Zambians as fools whom they can tell to turn left and right anytime they feel like. They formed the pact before agreeing on who will be the leader. please stop wasting our time. We thought this PACT will work but now things are falling apart, where is our hope, ADD, MMD, or PACT

  15. Maestro if UPND is “mighty” why do you need assistant from PF? Just go it alone and rest assured that your UPND and PF will remain in opposition forever. Don’t think that PF supporters will vote for your HH and UPND supporters will not vote for MCS. Just disband cos both parties want to use the other to get to plot 1 and it will not happen.

  16. Lubinda never smiles – like his friend HH. They are just grumpy chancers! However, HH having never held any public office seems to be a good qualification to me. I cannot trust anyone who has been in public office almost his entire life.

  17. NALABILAKO TYALA, I dont think Maestro is serios when he uses the the word Mighty, or he uses it a a context other than the normal one. It will be much easier for UPND to convince 35,210 of its 353,018 (approx 10%) supporters to vote for Sata and dislodge MMD.

However it will be impossible to convince 365,342 of the 683,150 PF supporters (approx 54%) to vote for HH in order for dislodge MMD.

    Simple logic

  18. And please mwebantu, what is there to fear about a headless pact? The pact is mere hallucinations in some people’s fertile minds. Ati for strategic reasons we cannot announce the pact leader hehe hihi, what strategy when the fact is you don’t know where you are going, or even coming from for that matter because if you did then you would know where you are going. The pact is nothing more than an interweaved mess of worms, if you can imagine that in your fertile minds.

  19. You live in functioning democracies and your judgement of democracy in Zamia is so warped. Just read the comments above from those individuals in europe and america, you really wonder how a zambian is wired. If you chaps have ever come across words like good GOVERNANCE, you will notice a big difference between Zambia and where you are now living. RB has clearly demonstrated that he will muzzle the judiciary including the police, he will condone corruption because that is exactly what he is now doing etc etc.
