General Godfrey Miyanda has expressed his concern about Fifa’s official view on the Faz wrangles.
Gen Miyanda said in a statement that Fifa was not fair in its judgment by siding with the Kalusha Bwalya executive in the over the crisis and inviting his faction and government to Zurich on December 21 to discuss the impasse.
“Fifa is wrong, double wrong to have endorsed the meeting in Kabwe before both meetings had taken place,” General Miyanda said.
“FIFA should have waited for and demanded for factual reports from the two groups. It is the same FIFA that advised them to reach the two-thirds threshold but later changed the goal posts. Clearly the FAZ arithmetic is wrong.”
And the General wondered what really amounted to government interference after republican president  Rupiah Banda, who is also Faz Patron, recently called for dialogue between Kalusha and leader of the November 26 ECM Andrew Kamanga just months after playing a pivotal role in Dario Bonetti’s appointment as Zambian coach.
“He has been claiming that he did not want to interfere in Faz matters,” the General and former republican vice president said.
“But not so long ago, when Faz was about to recruit the Italian coach, and the public was against that, Patron Banda intimidated everyone by saying that if that coach was not recruited he would not continue to raise funds for Faz. I am very sure that if the Patron had called the two groups to a meeting before their ECM’s they would have responded positively. Now it may be too late because the horses have already bolted from the stable. What is necessary is first to rein them in, which is the purpose of this statement.”

Alinaswe number three, you seem to be enfooolished by the idea that the great Kalu always right. The case at the FAZ EGM now requires the involvement of the ACC to establish if those that participated at that EGM were bonefide members. The implications is that if they are not bonefide members, then Kalu is a fraud that should arrested because FAZ Presidency is a public office. I know some people will say it is ok becasuse RB rigged election, I would say that if that is the case then we are saying everying in Zambia should be fradulate. If Kalus EGM was fictitious then the two fictitious faction have to disband at hold fresh elections, FAZ should be headed by a caretaker

The two thirds majority meant these two thirds still hold their meeting with the incumbent executive-not on their own. There’s no provision for such a coup in FIFA affiliated associations. The govt interference FIFA is referring to is not wha u are talking about, its about the NSCZ case. The people who watch football dont vote for Miyanda so top wasting time with football whose popularity you are trying to ride on. Instead comment on the mess at the UTH, the potholes on the Copperbelt where all our wealth so far has come from and other serious matters. When Kalusha runs for State House then start commenting about him. For now just FALL OUT KWENYENGWE!

Ba Miyanda, ba General please concentrate on your political comeback by talking about important issues that are still affecting many poor Zambians and don’t take your politics to FIFA. FIFA is not a political party. Fight them MMD, PF and UPND. We have enough people in Zambia who will take care of Football Issues.

Gen. Miyanda is the best President that Zambians are ignoring. Try him. He is disciplined and a no nonsense General.
